On what planet, does hard-capping DH uses to 6 per match, be a buff? Let alone medkit/selfcare??
And no Overzealous is not going to break meta.
-
Exit-Gate kills are always the sweetest, because they shouldn't happen. It's like Bloodwarden, Deathslinger, STBFL, etc., don't exist so its always a treat catching one off-guard when they should've just left.
-
I'm not sure which Spirit bug you speak of, but it usually happens to any killer thats suddenly had their training wheels taken away. Even back when they added proximity sound to Spirit a lot of people left in droves, even if shes still a strong killer imo
-
Wow I hope BHVR takes immediate action and further reduces the movespeed for engravings addons! But no yeah this is awful, surely we can expect Blights bugfix within the week

Still not seeing a reason why Shadow Born can’t be basekit at the bare minimum
Then what will Shadowborn do? Prevent FOV from changing? Again it all means extra work that seemingly is too much of a hassle for the devteam
-
The simple reason is that the moment they do give us a slider is the moment they have to update/patch all future and past viewmodels to correctly display.
The example above should explain why, but to define it; they would need to further tweak this for the slider, possibly even make a new model.
-
Considering the spike in lag/chunky FPS I think its a connection issue, maybe the server/client is disagreeing if you swung and need to enter cooldown, either way please submit this to the bug reports as they'll have a better answer for you!
-
EVEN in a hypothetical tunnel, survivors already clamoring up to spout "You can but you totally deserve to be flamed for it." The absolute state of passive-aggressive players! Truthfully it all is pointless because the moment you hit READY you consent to be matched with 4 players of random choosing, so play however you damn well want and stop obsessing over imaginary rules!
tldr: tunnel every match, or dont, your free-will came bundled with your soul

Personally what I’d like is for Freddy to have both snares and pallets automatically in his base kit and he can switch between by tapping the ability button like how Clown switches between yellow and pink gas. Then make his current fake pallet add-ons be solely buffs for them of various kinds. That would give Freddy more flexibility where he can place pallets out of chase and place snares at loops.
I agree, the fact that spending bloodpoints is required to fully use a killers ability (or hell its swapping which halve you'd like) is absolutely crazy, so yes this would be a very good start to make for him, maybe bump his quantities back to 10 like before too, or give em both two seperate pools to use from.
-
Her Condemnation is too weak, I get its meant to be like Pigs RBT where you shouldn't be expecting kills but it feels less impacting than those. Remove that part of her kit and she's a Wraith that traded movespeed for teleporting. If touching Condemnation is a no-no, can we maybe have it so her manifest is given depth, like maybe being able to move through pallets and vaults, ignoring certain collisions that sort of thing since it already ignores survivor collision.
-
What if you go on a slug only spree until everyone bleeds out, what happens then?
-
They are at endgame, their sacrifice was pressure, NOED becomes the new pressure. They didnt work for it, but the survivors sure did!
-
Yeah it always affected locker opening too, so a shadownerf is likely.
-
I remember slugging a four man SWF to death as Ghostface once because of it.
Those were not good times for anyone at all.
-
An actual smart solution would be preventing the placing of crows that are aimed towards the hooked survivor if you're too close. It would also be extremely easy to do this, and that way you can immediately take advantage of perks like BBQ, while preventing you from crow camping!
-
Because when survivors do it to each other its a language, but when its towards a killer its almost always when things are going their way and they wanna rub it in. And thats fine, but to then demand to know why they are then tunneled for it should ask themselves "Why did I tbag the killer if I didn't want this result."
The same applies to why killers also do performative language, because things are going their way
-
The Entity is just using Botanist Knowledge and cloned seeds from the perfect tree so they'd always appear.
If they can control up to seven realms and beyond, they can do a little botany.
-
Everyone is right, but theres one thing that makes him absolutely worth it. The very moment you catch a survivor in a deadzone and watch them melt into a pile of daggers in the span of five seconds.
That and losing a survivor when they're max laceration, only to see them from afar and land a 20m dagger throw like your in a CoD montage.
-
Just another victim of being a killer with depth and intricacies. You not only have to know survivor pathing and how theyre likely to move around the map, but also timing crow shots so they land at those locations.
Why bother learning all of this in matches of unknown difficulty when you can just stick with the ones you know?
-
No clue, when they announced Beyond the Realm graphical overhaul, I was dead certain this and Haddonfield would be on top of their To-Do list. So lets hope its next, or if not just gets disabled permanently.
-
Its a good empty perk slot filler, does something useful, and combos with a lot of perks. It just isn't very flashy or impactful as Ruin or Devour.
It IS however meta for new players by being one of the stronger universal killer perks, if not the best outright.
-
Have you considered giving Killer a whirl? Its impossible to be face camped, and its you who gets to pitch tents instead, if you want. If you rather stay survivor, then you have to roll with the punches unfortunately, or get some friends to lessen queue times/camps.
-
Have you tried winning, but no as hard?
Jokes aside, those DS are the ones that aren't actually bad to eat since it means they did nothing to progress the match, and are just plain wasting your time as much as they're wasting theirs. Even moreso if it was a 59s DS, they did nothing that entire time.
-
Out of all the things you listed, I think map balancing would be the best place to start. To balance Killers in a way where they can handle a SWF while also not completely ravaging a solo team would be too many spinning plates to count. So if every map were done in a way where no areas could be abused would be nice. It would help new players not have to learn the intricacies of a map just to survive a chase for longer than ten seconds, or spend minutes bloodlusting for a hit. For any map to have a high skill play of "Oh yeah dont go there" is plain bad map design.
-
Whispers causes you to hear feint moaning and weird noises. Always thought it was just a thing on certain maps, never knowing the perk was making those sounds!
-
Invest in perks that help with finding survivors such as Spies from the Shadow, Whisperers,. Zenshin Tactics can also help anticipate windows for shooting survivors for a hit, and pallets to know what loop you should expect and if you are able to drag them around it when shot. Deathslinger is less perk reliant and more demanding that you learn all his quirks, so you can very well invest in Gen Stalling perks if you need bonus time learning him in a match.
-
Simply love how much chatter he has now, it really helps make him stand out from other killers and more befitting of a singular DLC. Makes me excited to see if any upcoming will be as chatty.
-
By defintion, this makes any perk that gives more leg room a bad and low skill perk.
DS is now a baby perk because it helps bad survivors who couldnt escape killer a second chance, and Pop a baby perk because it helps bad killers who couldnt pressure gens.
Guess we all should run perkless lest we get called out for having second chances and no skill.
-
Can someone explain how a totem that allows AoE healing is comparable to a totem that grant Exposed and 5% Haste? This is the orange and bananas of perk comparisons, and I find both perks perfectly fine, perhaps really good, at doing their purpose and dont need to be touched.
-
Nurse having a much richer and longer history is probably why. Shes already recieved several changes, mostly in the addon side, so any future reworks can be compared to past changes and made accordingly. Pinhead however is a relatively new Killer so any data is viewed more critically and changes need to be eased in. Compare this to Trickster, who also new at the time, has data that showed they needed HUGE changes, and isnt the same Killer they were at launch, so the devs are able to know when a drastic change is needed versus an addon change. Pinhead likely has a winrate that theyre happy with, but its clear, especially as of late, they first go for the addons that have a high usage and win rate before changing anything else.
-
The Chain Hunt is meant to be very oppressive to scare survivors into solving/searching the box to avoid it happening. So its only as powerful as the team decides it to be.

why do you people always come up with smug rhetorical questions like this?
Because this is the DBD Forums and 99% are stuck on sarcasm/sass mode.
But back on Otz, its pain. Shows how everyones feeling inside, cant think of anyone who actually approves of this patch wholely.
-
BHVR knows the racist players can continue playing Bubba and being toxic without a cosmetic option right? I may not be able to understand the grand scope of things, but this is just sidestepping around an issue at best.
-
Theyre gonna remove its ability to avoid Special Attacks, mark my words. Which still makes it very good, but no more eating tentacles or chainsaw sprints.
-
If they become injured by being infected, then Nemmy becomes a less ranged Plague. A better condition would be if the hindered penalty didnt last for the duration of a sneeze, and an addon that increases it by 0.2?? Make it so that the survivor is permanently hindered until they vaccinate, that way the 3 Health State problem becomes a trade off instead.
-
You got four minutes, which is less than a match usually goes for. Maybe just take a break and heat up a hot pocket, pack a fat bowl or, anything, while you bleed out? It sucks but at least you CAN bleedout eventually and then hop onto the next round.
-
Funny you say this, was in a match last night where BBQ was useless as the team setup Shadowstep boons in very lucky totem spots that covered the map for them. Im not mad since they dedicated a fourth of their perks to counter one perk, oh and the phat bloodpoint gainz.
-
Oh come on, it'll just be a little hinder, you wont even notice!
-
Wishing a lot of people in here get Civilization under their tree this year.
That being said it is kinda stinky that killers dont have much interactions with the snowmen as much as survivors do

Well, that's what I mean, If I'm chasing a guy that's like 8 mt from me they jump in and I can't do anything about it. It's like a free BT without the need to mend.
Yes, but you get a free cosmetic for your troubles. You could just go about busting the snowmen before they get a chance to hop into one too!
-
A lot of players dislike it as being stealthy has little impact on stalling a killer, or progressing objectives, but it keeps you alive longer and more likely to survive and escape.
So yeah there isnt actually anything wrong with it, just poor reputation.
-
By Win, do you mean killing a survivor , or a complete 4k sweep? There are too many variables in this game to leave it up to 100% Skill, so I can see a master killer securing 2ks/10 hooks every round without any problem.
-
The Clown
I decided I would try to git gud with what was called at the time, "the worst killer", a time when throwing bottles still slowed you down. It was also good for helping me learn to play killer since I was still new at the time and losing didn't hurt since I was playing Clown of all killers.
Hard to narrow how long I've played them, but likely near the hundred mark, as Clown is my only P3 killer. As for percentile, maybe 5%? I like to think everyone has a Clown phase that ends with them maining someone else eventually, if not for Clown I would be a Nemmy main, but alas, I'm still tossing bottles
-
Anything that can immediately down survivors is high mmr meta due to skipping the unnecessary chase/looping that costs too much of a killers time. It also counters bodyblocks and general altruism by making it risky.
-
You killed the two survivors you wanted to kill, thats is a win in my book. Without pips making any difference you might as well make your own objectives per match now.
-
I mean maybe? You're being matched with your respective platform so its going to at least be more evenly matched.
-
Clown
Pros: Brimming with character, always laughing, very fun to play as just for how he acts. Bottles can be fun and landing far range direct hits is satisfying. Decent looper to boot.
Cons: Yellow Bottles almost never get used and are just lacking without addon use. Would be fine if this wasn't the other half of his ability.
-
Speaking of movespeed addons, this and deathslingers are so minuscule that it makes me wonder why they don't rework these addons into something else, maybe just one or even both because they're only this way due to updates/changes.
Or maybe they're happy with this design direction given how even Demo got his movespeed addon reduced.
-
Here you go console friend!

The one thing MS does is turn a Kobe into an immediate 2nd Hook State, as well as being the original Scourge Hook perk design.
