Need to ask a quick question in regards to XP, Shards and time. I'm too stupid to do the calculations, so I was hoping someone could help me out.

About how long does it take to get 9K Shards? I heard someone say that 1 Shard = 35 XP and that can be averaged to around 35 hours, but I'd like to have a more official source.

    Thank you!

Actually less, match willing. Might have to take a few holidays for it.

  • The Shape,

Play With Your Food, Bamboozle, Fire Up, Bitter Murmur/Rancor,

    Both Iridescent Addons,

Congratulations, you are now only competing against the clock to reach EW3 and nuke everyone you catch. Pallets and Lockers may vary.

Fair enough, but you got two free kills, so, hooray?

So one escapes and 2 dc so the last can get the hatch? I think I'll pass...

What diehard swf/players would actually endure two DC penalties for a hatch, one that wouldnt even be visible until they DC as of the latest patch? If you happen to know them personally, I hope you give him lots of hugs and tuck them into bed every night.

  • He counters body blocks and the endurance status effect better than any killer, I'll give you that much, but managing to avoid enterring a tantrum or leaving multiple survivors in the dying state with a chainsaw sprint (more of a powerwalk really) requires a mix of skill/luck. Hell you practically have three perks to work with due to Bamboozle being a necessity on him.

  • Make it an offering that creates two extra exit gates, and the moment a survivor exits through one, it becomes blocked off to the rest of the survivors. This makes the most optimal decision for each survivor to go to a seperate gate, but anyone chased by the killer would either be abandoned to die, as well as body blocking to a gate futile.

Hope I didnt hijack this concept but anything that spices up the game is a high.

What would be crazy is if the disconnects were still being tracked and the penalties still being stacked in the background this whole time; so that if the penalties were enabled again, the next time they dc they'd be banned from matchmaking for a week. 👀

Sounds good until the amount of players who had several crashes/alt-f4 for bugs suddenly get further punished.

Please stop talking about it. They'll butcher it.

The day the devs nerf a brown addon will be the darkest of days.

  • Ahem.

    HangmansTrick.gif PopGoesTheWeasel (1).gif

Id include frankins, but that sort of works only outside of a carry.

  • Only one is Myers with a Tombstone addon. You only need stare at a survivor before you can instantly kill them, making them the easiest killer to kill with. But good luck actually catching up with the survivor.

  • Whats next, prevent jigsaw boxes from being active when a survivor gets Pignapped? Or cleansing at a fountain for Plague? Might as well make Thrilling Temors basekit!

  • Really shows how a match free of sweating and overall refusal to let another player do anything can leave a match feeling wholesome and fun. Like the difference between a scooby doo chase and a midnight hog hunt. Oh and as for your title;

    8R9xGpL.jpg

  • Shadowborn.

No, really. That increased FOV is the difference between walking past a survivor or not, not to mention how valuable having more vision is for any Killer period. Its my goto on Trapper and Nemesis, and for some reason it just works wonders.

  • Not sure if this the place for it, but wouldnt running camaraderie/kinship be the perfect counter to this scenario? Not to mention Babysitter/Guardian helping in preventing tunneling? Not gonna just flat out say "no no camping or tunneling!" cause every game forces different strats needed to be used, and that goes for both roles.

I’ve played on the ptb and with everyone trying to get boon totems up, the killer has gotten around 3-4 hooks before a gen has even been worked on. Even if you place it far away from where the killer would be patrolling you are still having to travel all the way there to make use out of it.

It absolutely feels like a time sink and I feel like it gives a legitimate objective for the survivors to work towards that totems never were.

Thats what I was thinking, not to mention the very possible occurrence of a survivor who has a build based on destroying totems, which would render their teams own build useless! This isnt to say that they should be changed, but they feel like a new part of the game that makes survivors think more than just GENS.

  • @Demiurg said:

No horror in game on high ranks, killer is a clown working to make survivors fun. Less killer players - less money for bhvr.

What makes you say this? Is it that you find the tactics used by high mmr killers cheap or unfair? The killer selections to be unfun?

  • They forgor to change the description 💀

If not, maybe some of that grease fell on her making her grease slicked body ambush and crouch faster?

  • @glitchboi said:

All I know is that it's gonna be hella fun now that it'll have synergy with more killers.

I know, its almost like its worthy of being a hex perk now, and no longer high-risk/low-rewards.

  • @Psycho_ said:

you have to cause a damage state to get the effect im assuming. so trick blades probably. forcing you to hold w into the open for an easy down. we will see... imagine like hex bamboozle + blood favor, you could ruin a whole loop.

Thats what I was thinking, as survivors tend to wait on a pallet and save it before a lunge/after a missed range attack, making this spot no longer safe. No more running around a rock with a pallet anymore

  • Boon: Distant Arrival

When being unhooked by a survivor or yourself, you will be sent to a hook location furthest from the Killers current position. This effect will last until your blessing is destroyed.

Its a Get-Out-Camp free card basically, as well as a soft anti-tunnel benefit.

  • Aftercare/Red Herring/Diversion (Pebble.)

Unhook your friends and then toss a killer notification their way. If theyre currently next to you on a generator, run to a locker and wait for the killer to come chase them off.

For single perk shenanigans, Technician will allow you to hold M1 forever.

  • Getting whipped makes you noisier, weakens vaults/pallets strength and turns zombies into a bigger hazard. The same argument can apply to Legion, where its benefits are only shown if you use the power at the right time.

I don't use add-ons. I like to get good with the base kit. And even the few times I used add-ons it did absolutely nothing meaningful.

Mhmm thats the issue right there, lack of addons! Marvins Blood is hands down his best one, and the ones that boost respawn time can help relocate zombies somewhere better. I will agree with you that when I read "Nemesis" I was not expecting a whip cracking tyrant, but he's not terrible, just different.

  • Make sure you bring snacks (hotdogs, marshmallows) and something to watch/listen to in the background while you enjoy your stay in the basement. It can be fun seeing how they decide to handle it, such as suicide rushing it with BT.

  • @Sweet_Tour said:

Nah still #########, I have to sweat just so they don't 4 escape. Because every killer match is T-Bag, flashlight, dead hard, 59 second DS's. BT hooks rushes in my face. And I don't like Ruin and pop. So I decided forget it. Hope you like not playing the game survivors enjoy basement bubba. Even killers I dont play I'm getting the same ######### i see with my main killer. So it's not me being some god among men at killer it's this games horrible idea of balance. Cause let's not forget 4 players of equal skill to 1 player is a nightmare. Cause it only takes 1 perk to ruin a match.

I mean you're free to play however you like, Bubbas Based-ment included. But if you want to 4k so much, why not just deck out your strongest killers with the best perks, or even camp/tunnel when beneficial? Hell I'm pretty sure this is what Devour Hope was made for.

How about we just make a legendary skin for Oni that is Nemesis. We make the kenobo a rocket launcher, that you can beat them down with. You get your running, you got your rocket launcher, and BHVR gets a cosmetic to sell. We all win.

Might as well do the reverse and give Nemesis an Oni skin too, with his whip becoming a Katana, and the zombies being two lesser samurais.

  • They likely changed the rank reset system schedule after adding in the BP Bonus, probably just another DBD engine quirk that only works if its done this specific way.

  • Hey man I understand you aren't doing too good as Nemesis, but have you stacked the Iridescent STARS Badge and Depleted Ink-Ribbon for super speedy zombies?

Twins could be cool but like they have 3 people who play them so I doubt they will get any more cosmetics.

True lol. Maybe it'll come bundled with some much needed QoL changes for them!

  • My money is on either Deathslinger or Twins. Twins because they're lacking in the cosmetic department and a blighted Victor would be cool to see. Deathslinger just for how long he's been in the game already.

  • We have Plague giving people puke showers and Clown's finger-licking good mori, would've thought people would've been thickened by now.

  • The benefit is having one less survivor to worry about because they can't do anything until they either complete it, or are found by Pinhead, which the latter instantly starts Chainhunt. It's like kidnapping Victor but with more positives!

  • The easiest challenge, especially compared to Nem's that requires four entire matches to complete!

I meant at which height it extends from Nemesis.I played him quite a lot the past few days and it just seemed to be really inconsistent in terms of what you can hit over and what not sometimes

Thats a tricky question, but its about eye-level at its highest, however it loses any effectiveness once its blocked by any terrain or obstacle. This means you can crouch to avoid it if youre behind anything as tall as a crouched survivor. However, unlike PH it goes over gaps and drops and can still hit.

  • If you mean width its accurate to how its visual looks. If length, its around 5m which becomes 6m at Tier 3. If I am horribly wrong so far and you meant where it comes out of, it eminates from Nemesis himself, so its impossible to hide under him to avoid the hit.

  • Its less of a whip and more of a .5s long railgun. If any survivor is in it or happens to run into it, they are hit by it. This makes it better to aim with your movement than actually aiming.

  • Safety Pip and Pips. There exclusions like Myers but the fact you can either die or 0k and still avoid depipping (or even somehow pip) makes that a win.

  • You guys have no one else to blame but yourselves. "Dishonest"? He had his eyes on the prize and pulled a mindgame that worked. I know it sucks and probably feels awful, but what did you expect from a Killer?

  • You can say all you want, or offer as many cakes as you can, but the hungry hungry basement bubba will still be insidious.

  • Yeah, it should be "spend this much time on generator" since that's closer to how it does work. It only becomes true if you're working on it solo, but even using a toolbox/perk results in needing a longer repair progress.

  • Trap a survivor with a bear trap that already got a survivor. So just re-arm a trap that a survivor stepped in and have someone step into it again. The wording is strange, but that's the gist of it.

  • Mix of new players who joined the ranks because NEMESIS, mix of people learning them and needing to compensate with that process by tunneling survivors.

  • Maybe let them drag survivors away, that's funny. Hooking seems like too much for them seeing they die from a pallet hitting them.

  • Toss up between Clown or Trapper. The first because he is aesthetically pleasing and relatable. The second because hearing those jaws lock on someone is an unparalleled euphoria.

  • it's almost like its a flawed system that doesn't reward being good at the game but rather completing a checklist of activities without caring if one side prevents the other from completing it.

Oh and even escaping doesn't guarantee a pip, because you didn't fill in those checkmarks!

  • Make Main Event give him a boost to his movespeed. The animation that plays is already a big indicator that its starting, and being forced to go at the slower throwing speed makes it really bad to use anywhere that isn't out in the open.

  • Mettle of Man and WGLF are perks built around doing bodyblocks, there's even points for taking "protection hits". Put simply, they do it because they can.

  • Reverted but maybe changed a bit. What if it instead only restores a hex 1/2/3 times until its gone, and remove any aura vision from it.

  • Everyone talks about the sore losers at engame chat, but there's just as many sore winners who decide to gloat and BM for no reason other than ego strokes. Just keep your composure and let them pretend they're tournament champions, shouldn't have to accommodate for these players.

  • Im all for an addon that gives mangled on injury, but you rather replace Ricochet Blades and not the addon that gives him a whopping 0.1ms bonus when throwing daggers?
