Between a mixture of improving my skill with killers and fine-tuning their builds, I find this game is a never-ending quest for optimization when compared to other games. The fact any survivor team can choose to run 16 unique perks makes me REALLY considerate of my own build, which again, I find really fun and competitive.

I understand it, but why start a match if someone didnt load, or pair me with people that cant load at normal speed, if its going to be a error 500.. is just a waste of time for everyone. Those players should get paired accordingly, this is annoying
If I had to muster any reason, its better to hope that last remaining player loads in in time, than booting everyone out mid-loading.
-
The game actually has a timer for loading players into matches. This exists because sometimes a round may start before every player has actually finished loading. If the timer ends before everyone is in-game, it will terminate the match.
tldr: dial up users arent loading fast enough
-
Likely teasing him for the next tome. I can't say its worth the 50k BP, but its still a perk nonetheless to add to your roster.
-
Deathslinger is at a perfect spot right now, being powerful at cutting chases short and able to force survivors into/away from areas. While his mobility/gen pressure is weak, so is every other basic attack killer. As for his harpoon size, I am almost certain it is a single pixel dot as I've seen it hit survivors through the walls in Ormond. Just learn the projectile speed of a pixel and you should be fine.
-
Had several fun rounds as clown today, but this stood out as the friendliest I've experienced in a while. Hope I can have more fun matches such as this.
-
I propose an alternate path where the three top scoring players of the round should be the ones rewarded, as they actually got things done.
-
Claudette could not help the situation in any way, and nor could Learherface as he doesn't care nor is he able to. And how are you to assume any players intent when the only communication is during postgame, and thats if the killer was on PC/Stadia.
Just immerse a little and go along with the fantasy.
-
I've seen it happen with Obsessions when Rancor is used. I will never understand what makes getting mori'd worse than dying on hook, its just a different death animation.
-
A potential soft buff would be allowing a free kobe that stuns the killer if they spent an entire minute standing like 6m next to your hook.
-
If it helps the situation, I believe their perks have non-reference counterparts that are in the common perk pool, so you're only missing out on a killer and model.
-
Its more the nature of this game's cosmetics that I immediately assumed Elodie was a legendary for Claudette when watching the trailer, until Victor shredded David that I remembered its a chapter.
-
Randomizer mode where the killers ability/addon changes with every hook, and the Survivors perks/item changes on every generator completed.
-
Have you considered that this was the intended effect as you are running through bloodied hallways of an underground facility as a serial killer chases you?
-
Just recycle the clowns mori instead, maybe cutting out the finger part.
-
The RBT stalls matches on a level that Clown's Bottles cannot, and the Pig also has her Crouch/Pounce ability to be on par with him when looping. The only edge Clown has is better addons, whereas Pig can get kills without using RBT addons due to how they work, which is why the Bottles need improvement.
-
This match was three days ago, have you encountered anything similar to it within that timespan?
-
Lets see, Mori, Enduring/Spirit, Blood Favor, Mori, Bleed Out, Agitation to fake out the pallet drop, Mori
-
How would these account for bleed out if the killer decides to kill you that way?
-
Blood Favor wants to know your location.
Oh and I guess a mori counters it too, so a fair perk overall.
-
It was mostly ran to double stun the killer rather than punish a killer for not breaking it immediately. It being one a minute timer and having a score event makes it fine for me.
-
Thats exactly why the key is such a high priority item. If they found it mid-game and hid it until they escaped, thats just the luck of the draw. Aside from emblem tweaking, actually having all four survivors coordinate a hatch escape is rare so don't feel too beat up, only Franklins Demise can prevent a key escape.
-
You set the difficulty in every match as much as the other players do. If you go into a round with the intent to "play fair", don't be upset if the other side are going in to troll, they can't help not knowing you werent going to stomp them. If you wanted to win you should have gone into the match with the intent to win.
-
No Mither allows you to immediately take make use of perks such as Resilience or Dead Hard. It also synergizes well with Dying-State perks naturally, and Stealth perks due to its bleeding reduction. It is a very high risk/reward perk that warrants a planned build.
-
Crouching repeadately is literally worse than a basement hook because it serves no purpose than to waste your own time taunting a killer, versus doing anything else, like maybe a generator? It actually hurts your ability to escape because it takes time you could've use escaping.
And yes the same applies to The Ghostface, worst killer hands down.
-
As a killer main, because tbags. If it were really about giving us free bp via a hit, then why not give us some free hooks? (Supposing you aren't within the kill zone.) Until that day comes, an opened exit gate is a bad idea!
But as a deathslinger main, I haven't the foggiest idea as to what you are even talking about.

The Grunts/Servants from Amnesia Dark Descent as Killer, with Daniel serving as Survivor.
The Grunt alone is already an eldritch beast that creates fake doppelgangers and whose very image drives you insane. So the idea of survivors facing fake clones who disappear once they reach you would be an interesting concept, on top of having to avoid seeing the killer due to insanity slippage.
As for Daniel, he survived an entire castle full of these things and a different entity, which was darkness itself. Clearly the perfect survivor candidate.
-
This new daily login event seems to exist just to remedy this very crisis, maybe give it a few days and consider it as refund?
-
Not so much an exploit, but the best tactic if you want the killer to hate you and want you dead. Maybe even the other survivors as it forces them to come over to attempt an unhook.
-
Rework his gun so the spear fires faster/farther the longer you aim down. This would add bonus incentive for a well timed shot, and turn quickscopes into higher risk/reward.
-
There is a tiny icon that shuts out post-game chat, and while that is there I agree there should be an option for profanity filtering. I'm strongly against autobans over words because you'll just get toxicity with a different flavor.
-
Blight has a very quick way of catching up to survivors, so he isn't entirely lame when using basic attack perks. Plus he already has an iridescent add-on to perfectly fill this role.
-
I want to say yes due to how many players have decided to start an argument about the validity of my claim. But then other times they respond the same and we all wish each others "good luck! <3" and go on our merry way. So take some consideration when to use your gg's
-
The single factor in determining what you are after entering the Fog was whether you escaped into it as a means of staying resolute, or as a means furthering your descent into madness. A lot of Killers could potentially have been Survivors if they weren't motivated by revenge.
-
We all just gonna forget decisive strike has the survivor drive a glass shard into the killers backs? Or that the flashlight physically burns Wraith/Nurse?
-
If all generators are repaired, you may open one exit gate.
If an exit gate has already been powered, you are no longer allowed to open one.
If the hatch has been closed, you are also barred from opening one.

But by that logic, even me taking ina brown toolbox is classified as gen rushing. That is only a term used by killers to complain. Rushing gens and the term gen rushing are supposed to be 2 completely different things
That's just it, as survivors, you all need to maintain the gen rush, keep it going as long as it can. The killers all need to stop it, prevent it, and keep the gen rush from continuing.
Gen Rush isn't a term or action. Its the moment in every round where generators are uncontested and being repaired by multiple survivors. This is a gameplay element only Killers experience and must account for, lest they get filtered and lose.

I'm sorry to disagree then cause I still say doing gens in anyway does not signify "gen rushing"
What's being disagreed with? The term? Because there's a huge difference in a survivor doing gens, versus one doing gens with toolboxes and BNP. And the latter is definitely rushing it, which again, is a good thing for survivors to do if they want to win.

I'm confused. Do you believe in gen rush or not cause tbh, I agree with this.
I believe it exists, and is literally how survivors are meant to play.
If I spend five minutes looping a killer, only to see nobody had worked on gens by the time I'm hooked, those survivors are trash.
-
You bring DS/BT, I bring Dying Light/Pop, its as simple as that
-
You keep saying scummy, but all I'm hearing are tactics. I'm not even gonna list all the ways survivors are "tactical" because its a futile point. People are gonna do what it takes to win because thats the point of playing a game.
-
Nothing else to do but report for unsportsmanship. If anything, they are a dog barking behind a fence, so dont let them get to you.
-
Its more apples and oranges. While they both excel at loops, Freddy is more territorial, his snares being traps to litter around while teleporting. Clown instead can shutdown an entire loop with a well placed bottle, and can cut chases short. Freddy certainly has a wider range of viability, but he will never be able to throw snares at people.
-
Survivors are unaware as to what Killer they are going to face, so can only make assumptions on perks only when they find out ingame. Killers however are free to do this in lobby, so its fair to make your selected killer more of a significant decision, still being able to change perks/addons.
-
Why would they remove his key playstyle?
-
The issue is you are as powerful as you choose to be. They choose a coordinated stack, you chose a normal loadout/killer. Not saying to go full mori/noed, except maybe.
It is called "Ruthless/Merciless" after all
-
the cages always spawn at the farthest location from the killer, meaning there should be at least one survivor much closer to you than them. however i get this kind of falls flat on open maps like cornfield where its as simple as holding forward, so bust bust out the offerings
-
put on heavy metal or deathgrips and it becomes the edgiest waiting room
-
its a change i figured was unique to the steamboat on the swamp maps. its really beautiful now seeing them all fly away and turn to molten ash
