Nemesis is the most obvious choice to pull in long time fans of the franchise, I'd be a little disappointed if it isn't him but as long as they do a good job with their power and appearance I'm sure it will still be a good chapter.
-
You can use other undetectable perks and powers as well with dark devotion and still get the challenge done. I used huntress with beast of prey, tinkerer, dark devotion and the PH perk (can't remember the name). As long as you have Dark devotion equipped and you hit someone when undetectable it counts.

It's a killer-specific issue if latency interacts very badly with one killer's power in particular. Like, Huntress gets tons of latency hits where she throws a hatchet and hits someone who already ducked around a corner. Plague gets the opposite. Part of it is that her projectile isn't a wave, it's a string of dots, and very rapid mouse movements can cause the dots to have significant gaps between them... but she also gets tons of hits where the survivor will scream as if hit, but nothing happens to them, so clearly that isn't the only problem.
I also don't think the Corrupt Purge here should have been enough to give Dwight an area to run through - that arc was not wide enough, nor the mouse swing chaotic enough, to create survivor-sized gaps. It's possible, that was the point in the shot where he moved the camera most quickly, but I play enough Plague where that doesn't check out to me.
It is due to latency though, I've played as trapper and had my weapon go through a survivor and do nothing.
-
Anyone could start playing a killer and just buy a cosmetic, I think if you see a P3 killer that's more likely to make me be more on my toes because it usually means they put more time into them.
-
Yes it's super op, it's not like you can just hide behind a gen or get into a locker when someone gets picked up to completely counter it.
-
It's more of a latency issue than a specific killer issue.

Ok, interesting to see the opinion of someone who first watched the movies. I never felt like the movies got anything to do with the games except copy/pasting some of the names of characters and objects :P
I got into the games first but I just really loved the movies as well and I was hooked after the first one, although I admit they got a bit confusing towards the end lol.
You're right though a lot of stuff is copy pasted like certain characters and a couple of game storylines where used but slightly differently like when Jill had the amulet that turned her evil etc. But Alice was always such a badass to me, I know she'll probably not go into dbd but a boy can dream lol.

Thankyou babe so the glyph is basically like a totems?
Yeah it's just a shiny blue shape that appears and makes a weird noise when you get near it, you'll just have to search through the map and you'll eventually find it. :)
-
Nothing made me cry more as a kid than the mew vs mew 2 pokemon movie.
Anyone that's watched it knows exactly which scene I'm talking about lol. ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
-
You just have to fully use all the charges in a toolbox and the blue glyph is the same as the red ones before where you just have to find it in a match, this ones only for survivors though. Hope this helped. <3
-
I've been at this game for 4 years and I've P3'd all my survivors but I'm still working on getting all the perks on them as well as still working on P3ing all my killers lol.
-
Some days I can win most matches, some days I lose most matches and some are 50/50. It's just the nature of this game man, you have good days and bad days.

You do. Killer is easier.
Thank you :)
-
I don't mind the skill checks because it gives it some sort of counter, but the cool down is way to much for me to get enough benefit from it.
-
It's the only thing about the hatch that isn't survivor sided lol.
-
I can't believe people can't see this is a survivor main trying to bait the nerf nurse narrative.
-
Lol
-
It happened to me once and that was a while ago so if it does happen again at least it's just a quick 5 min break to go grab a snack or something.
-
Because I don't like chases that involve just making a guess and hoping for the best.
-
Animal crossing.
-
It could be a good idea if solo queue can tag items like gens that are nearly done and totems.

Lol forgot about the 4 man twitch squad
Their always the best lol and the most salty when they lose ๐๐

I enjoy playing with either no mither, self care, solidarity and second wind. Or balance landing, lithe, dead hard and sprint burst. Ya know for the memes. ๐๐๐๐
-
I always have to laugh at the ones that trash talk the killer and complain about them crutching off certain perks while they're playing in a 4 man all with meta perks lol, their self awareness is kinda hilarious sometimes.
-
Aqualung - good times gunna come.
-
Some killers will take the game seriously and aim for the 4K every match and some will just mess around and have fun regardless and not really care.
Some survivors will play in full on sweat mode and want to escape every single match and take the game to seriously and some people will just have fun and try and get as many points as they can and have a laugh whether they escape or not.
It's just the nature of online games tbh.
-
As killer if I see an obvious SWF or keys I'll dodge. As killer and survivor if I see a TTV I'll dodge.
-
No that's just generating pressure on the map.

Even the house of pain?
Thats a god pallet that most killers will have to break. That's why a experienced killer just ignores the gen there and lets it go. But even after wraith has broke that pallet he can cloak and get in front of the survivors and block them and guarantee a hit regardless now especially with his new lunge.
In the PTB most content creators honestly believed that the lunge was a bug and was going to be fixed before it went live, so the fact it never was is pretty insane and I'll be very surprised if it isn't changed at some point.

Devs seem to be making it a habit of overtuning killers - like Freddy was. Now we will see if people just throw up their hands and die on first hook against Wraiths.
Pretty much they usually over do it with buffs or nerfs. I'd imagine a lot of people are just going to get fed up with it if they aren't already. Spirit has pretty much been the only killer I don't like going against but now I'd honestly rather going against her than a wraith.
-
Agree completely, I've been saying for years shadowborn should be made base for all killers, the field of view change and feeling less sluggish makes a huge difference. I genuinely can't play huntress without shadowborn.

So on the loops of Badham, the Windows of chapel, or the pallets on the game. Wraith who you will be aware is about to uncloak and visually see uncloaking one of the best to deal with this map.
Only the few god pallets on badham are safe against him and once they're gone he can get you around every other loop.
His speed boost can make him get past you and block the windows easily on the chapel.
In the game with the add on to break pallets quickly he can chew through them and then be blocking the next pallet before the survivor can get to it. I've watched Tru3talent play him on stream without the add on and he's dominated good survivors and was able to bodyblock most loops because of his speed and even admitted he got ridiculous hits because of his lunge.
-
I don't understand why they changed it but it hasn't made any difference in matches, if a decent team is running or on a gen together and you down one you'd be kicked regardless of the extra couple of seconds.

It's good against unsafe loops. But against good loops and especially windows he's helpless.
A lot of loops are unsafe especially with his lunge right now. Every wraith I'm going against now is just cloaking straight away after hitting you because they know they can be straight back on you and down you with his lunge unless you manage to get to a safe loop, but then you have to drop the pallet instantly and then once it's gone you're screwed, especially because a decent wraith will go past you and bodyblock any nearby vault.

That's 100 % my feelings. I felt after the speed buff. WITHOUT his post cloak lunge. He was in a very good spot. Even with the busted set ups I use. Now it borders on a little unfair.
Totally agree, for years people have asked for windstorm to be base and now they've done that which is great, but by adding the ridiculous lunge on top of it they've taken it further than it needed.
-
It would just depend on my current mood with the game tbh. If I was feeling good and just came out of a good match then I'd ready up and try my best and sweat out the challenge. If I wasn't feeling great and I'd just had a bad match then I'd dodge the lobby.
-
I'd love to see a witch or warlock theme where their power could be to throw fire balls or something, that would be really cool.
-
The buff was good for wraith but I honestly think they went to far with that ridiculous lunge he gets coming out of cloak.
-
They look weird to me on survivor so I rarely use them or if I do it myn't just be one on it's own because it matches the outfit lol.
-
It would work but you're highly unlikely to be left slugged if you have no mither.
-
Translation : make it so I can suicide on hook again when I'm in a match I don't want to play.
-
As a solo I find hag boring to play against, legion annoying and spirit is overpowered on her own but with strider it's just way to much.

I've been playing for quite some time myself. My retention is just #########. And it doesn't help that the maps are RNG and always look slightly different. So it's hard for me to retain and be like ok they're right here. Short of some fixed spots
I get it, it took me a while as well to be fair.

I'll be damned if I remember any totem spawns.
I have been playing this game for a long time so I pretty much know all the maps like the back of my hand tbh. Just stick detectives hunch on and be the designated totem man for a while and eventually you will just know exactly where they all are.
-
When I play survivor I hate haddonfield just as much as I do when I play killer just because I don't wanna load into a match knowing I'm in for an easy game.
-
Once you know all the totem locations on a map you don't need a perk so long as you just check them on your way around.
When a new map comes out I use detectives hunch just to learn them and then after a little while you can just find them without any perk.
