"Contrast this with solo survivor in that no matter how hard you try to win, you won't regardless of your skill."
Have you considered trying harder ?
From what I know, you instantly give up the moment something doesn't go your way so it's natural you would always lose and think killers are OP. Try to play out those games and improve and suddently, you just might get better and survive.
-
I already know I'm gonna like this guy.
-
I wouldn't mind boon totems beiing good if blessing didn't completely render trap hex perks useless. You literally can't trigger trap hex perks because blessing doesn't count as destroying. If that weren't the case, I would be fine with them.
-
Depends on how long hexes last if most of the match then hexes are stronger.
Overall though, boons since they are permanent, give very good effects and can be reused without wasting time if you decide to bless at time killer isn't doing anything usefull so time wasted doesn't matter.
Boons are far more consistent then hexes which imo makes them better then relying on RNG that hexes give you something if anything at all.
-
How about complete invulnerability from getting hit.
I have stable green ping in all of my games and yet there are instances where survivor gets hit, half a second later drops pallet on me and the hit gets refunded even after all the animations & sound already played.
Now, survivors can refund mid animation ranged attacks or lunges with dead hard.
Soon we might just remove weapons from killers and make them stare survivors to death since attacks them won't do anything anyway.
-
New Freddy is great but I agree that some version of old Freddy would be nice.
Best option would be to rework some of his very rare addons to bring him back in a form just like you can bring back old Legion with his 2 purple addons.
-
Any form of losing really.
-
Heyyyy devs, you know what you're supposed to do here.
No, not nerf nemesis, give him toned version of this addon baseline.
-
They work but you won't notice them making any difference unless you get into some very rare clutch scenarios.
-
Thank you

Outside of nostalgia, was dribbling DS that great of a feature?
It forced survivors to cooperate more. If you didn't want your DS to get dribbled, you have to take 1 bodyblock before the hook.

If the game was good then i'd be able to play it.
It's good when it works which is rarely.
-
I mean the game is good otherwise we wouldn't play it.
But it could be so much better if more was done and not the bare minimum of balancing + DLCs as often as possible to make as much 💲💲💲 as possible.
It's not easy to balance asymetrical game but for how simple some changes are, they certainly aren't doing all they could or don't want to for some reason.
-
Solos need buffs, not survivors overall. What you imagine as buff is addition of new OP perks or buff to passive survivor stats which are already too favorable to them already.
What actually needs to happen is better coordination options like text lines similiar to how identity V does is and other stuff like that.
-
I miss his old self. He was my main since his release and I always enjoyed playing him due to how great his ADSing felt. Now I can't, not because he's weak (imo he's somewhat weaker but not massively, from to B tier to low B tier) but because he's not fun anymore, just sluggish and annoyingly limited.
At least I still have nemesis until people realise that he's decent in chase too and want more cooldowns for him as well.
-
Because not cleansing is BORING. I want to play against corrupt purge and try some fun jukes, not loop M1 killer perma injured even when it's more optimal.
-
Nemesis is incredibly fun to play, fleunt, with very good chase, great pallet breaking, cool AI minions. A perfect fun killer to play even with all his weaknesses.
In other words, he's next in line for the nerf hammer to send him into the void of never getting played right next to billy and now slinger too.
-
What's there to say, he's exactly the same but with more limits. You make predictions the same with added forced delay, you chase and reel around things the same.
The biggest difference other then having more sluggish gameplay is that you have to keep an eye for wiggling on all survivors not just the good ones since they can see your ADS easily and don't have to think too hard about when to dodge anymore.
About every guide or tips from before still apply the same. Ofc except the cool shots through super tiny holes, those are as good as dead if the chased survivor isn't completely and utterly blind.
-
Wow, they're speaking the entity language like from the old cosmetics with gibberish writen on them.
-
I'll miss Orion, he was here since the beginning and before also on steam forums.
His takes were always amazing, it's shame how DBD keeps pushing players away with terrible decisions.
-
No, I won't really be playing him anymore, he was made clunky for no good reason.
I'll enjoy so other more fluent killer until they realise what they did and give him something meaningful in return or revert the terrible chance to quickscoping.

I love how he said "We all have over 5K hours on average, we are not that good".
Expecting all killers to win easily against these kind of survivors is what he actually wants. Unbelievable.
A game requiring spending years of your life, becoming acquainted with PRO LEVEL friends to have a chance at winning is not balanced. In fact, it is not fun at all to lose every match because you don't stand a chance due to killers being overpowered.
That is DBD right now.
Survivor meta - loop wood at mediocre level, use meta perks + items, hold M1 insted of wasting time walking around
Sluzzy - you need thousands of hours to be able to do this
Nobody expects average players to play at level of 5k+ hours SWF survivors but to do well they don't need to. Just mediocre clever gameplay is enough to beat almost all killers but that is still too much to ask.
-
I won't mind anymore. Before it was BS backup plan if by any chance killer was starting to win, you can just all 3 escape the moment things start to go south, now it's perfectly fine. If you want that 1 escape when you're last, fine do your best.
-
People who don't mind sluggish feeling powers.
So probably almost nobody, look at billy who's cooldown aren't as bad as slingers yet near no one plays him.
-
No they mean exactly that. It's a filler addon that does basically nothing.
It's about as good as toolbox addon that gave 1 extra charge, very cool and useful effect.
-
She's trying to kill you and bodyblocking is as much part of killer gameplay as is for survivors. It's a mean thing to do but completely legit.
-
Probably just well hidden in some random corner or something. They updated spawning rules, not the positions but then again, it's BHVR. Anything can become broken no matter how unrelated it is.
-
Bruh, you're supposed to crouch afk bodyblock one of the boxes and hope that RNG jesus will grant you 2+ head pops.
It's hilarious actually, devs really didn't think this one through. I'll have my fun while I can with this.
-
"I don't complain that he is much weaker now (even tho he didn't deserve it), I complain that he is MUCH more unfun and clunky to play."
Perfect description of the changes. It's the billy situation again, billy too is still strong but people don't play him since he isn't as fun anymore.

join the rest of us deathslinger/spirit mains who have started playing tombstone myers every game
if we can't win NOBODY CAN

Tbh I do that already on occasion, one of my favourite builds. Actually, I might just use up all of my collection of 200+ tombstones. That would be quite fun actually.
Huh, good idea thank you.
-
It's easy to win as killer with anything when you go against low MMR survivors. Based on how much you complain about dying all the time, that's the only place I can imagine you're at, no matter the hours of you or your teammates.
-
The locker counterplay means that he can't instantly mori you and has to waste time hooking you several times to the point where he loses the game, not that you're suddently immortal and all 4 survivors get free escape.
If you both spend so long in lockers just waiting, that means he already beaten you and just wanted the achievement. What excatly would be different in that situation if he didn't have tombstone ? You would get caught, hooked and would die. Pink tombstone is 100% fine, purple one needs changes.
-
100% that time back in the day where hatch spawned only when 2 gens were finished otherwise not.
So the game started and all 3 of my teammate instantly DCed and I was left alone vs Myers as I soon found out. As I hate quitters and quitting overall, I gave the game my best anyway to survive.
And I did somehow manage to outstealth him and do 2 gens alone, a couple times he walked extremely close to my but I evaded his LOS really well. He wasn't giving up either, very determined to find and kill me.
Found the hatch and escaped against all odds. That was one of the most memorable matches I've ever had as survivor.
-
You're one of the most (if not the most) helpful and nice people I've seen here on the forums since they were made. I find it near impossible that there could be a good reason to ban you.
Thank you for the summary, We'll miss you a lot during your ban. I hope to see you again and wish you the best wherever you are.

Why do any of you respond to Sluzzy posts?
He's the best troll we ever had. His posts are hilarious and a lot of people love to see them.
-
Makes me play less and less. Long que times don't help either.
-
Sluzzy's freedom of speach is too strong, it could use a toning down.
Ok but seriously, LF is one of the best balanced killers in DBD. If you're looping smart, you can stall him for long time and he enforces some very cool mingames if he plays well.
He's a good killer, we want those since then we have varienty and it's not only spirit, nurse.
-
Wow
Just wow.
Amazing job, thank you.
-
You seem to live in an existence where DBD is 4 surivors vs 4 killers if you think boon totems need buffs and are easily removed by the killer.
I'd love to see a day you call something survivors get too strong.
-
I just wish it came at the same time as mori rework, out of nowhere and both together.
But yeah, main thing is that it's finally here and that it solves the issues that keys were.
Let's hope their future idea of implementing keys and mories to base gameplay doesn't flip it back again.
-
I feel like this will be very marvelous way to troll survivors.
I'll enjoy using this meme until I get lucky 4k afk pig or until it gets reworked.
-
Just you wait once people realise how it can kill all 4 people with just killer bodyblocking afk 1 box the whole match with some luck.
-
I care
-
-
Ahh, I was afraid they would remove tombstones for some reason. Glad that didn't happen, well tombstone piece didn't get nerfed now but I'm sure it will get nerfed eventually. So for now, great buffs to vanity mirror and Judith's ts since those were pretty memey addons.
-
They're probably going to be changed once devs finalise their grand plan to make mories and keys part of everymatch gameplay.
For now with this fast fix to keys, they're staying as bad as they were before. Let's wait what they have in store for them in the future.
-
On a bad day I did care before since they were pain to play against but now, I'll be completely fine to see 4 keys in a lobby and even say, better then any other item. Feel free to take that 1 escape if you want it.
-
Seeing actual numbers makes my head spin (jk ofc) considerabely, BHVR I need my word values back tremendously quickly.

I'm guessing that's a pc thing. Mobile version doesn't show that.
Oh yeah I think so. Mobile version is really limited with size from what I remember.
