Community fueled events would be cool.
All Bill's day, or Nurse appreciation Thursday or something. Main problem would be getting everyone to agree to the terms.
Boop the snoot Sunday! But I feel you. Too many sweats play this game.

There, rank fixed.
There should just be a meme build day. No one is allowed to use meta builds for 24 hours lol got it fixed though. just closed the app and reopened.

He's really rough to play as. Especially on console. Needs a speed boost and possibly a buff/nerf to his chain. What I mean is increase the speed his chain reels but decrease the strength of the chain. Now you can down them faster but maybe another survivor could stand in the way if your not careful and break the chain.
-
No ######### Sherlock. Can't figure out how to set voting options.
-
Yeah no, his TR is fine. Alot of people just don't pay enough attention. Once you hit red ranks that stops happening as much. Especially since everyone runs spine chill.
-
Deadpool. His abilities would be sick. Ryan Renolds would voice him of course.

Did you genuinely sign up for the forums just to whine about SWF in a thread where what the player (in this case, the killer) in question did was so over the top that there's no sensible reason in the universe to defend what they did?
If you consider SWF as inherently toxic as you make it seem just find another game to play, your mindset is clearly incompatible with any direction DBD will ever take and you will forever be unhappy with the game.
Swf isn't even toxic it's just harder. But I'm sure we've all seen high level killers wipe the floor with it. People just like to find any and all excuses to blame for their hard time rather than admit they just aren't that experienced.

Huntress can down survivors at pallets. Deathslinger don't.
It's also way easier to hit hatchets. In the time it takes to harpoon, hit, reload and do it again I could throw and land five hatchets and still have time to go reload at a locker. And if you miss one harpoon it might screw you for the whole game.
-
Sounds like an inbred 14 year old.
-
Killer main here and I'ma say a hard no. Infinites have been a thing for a while now. If you can't easily identify them then your probably in gold or brown ranks. Don't waste your time on them and they won't be as big a problem. Find someone who isn't at an infinite and apply pressure there. Also if the devs thought that was a bannable offense they would have reworked infinites already. Sure it would be somewhat cool for them to remove them but no one should get banned. Besides I like to abuse them when I play survivor here and there.
-
I think they should increase the size of the survivors hitbox for the harpoon or the hitbox of the projectile itself. Not a whole lot but enough. This should make it a bit easier to use it. Either that or increase base reel speed and make him 115.
-
Agreed. He's alot of fun but definitely needs a buff.

Just read your post. I can agree it would be nice to know more on the why but I feel for the team at BHVR. They put up with alot of smack talk.

You realize alot of people ruin alot of games on purpose for everyone right? This isn't just a special Dbd case.

There are three types of survivors.
Those who say nothing. The mutes.
Those who are actually polite and friendly and cool guys to talk to most of the time.
Then you get these pillocks. Who normally have some "comedic" or edgy/taunting name most of the time who either beat you then argue that you were some sort of tunneller or broken. Or you beat them. And they say the same bollocks. They'll say this kind of stuff under any circumstance. I think they percieve themselves as cheeky or adorably bratty or something. Like some sort of youtube personality making a rage montage.
Laugh at the third.
Banter and Talk with the second.
"GG" the first.
This is so accurate.
-
Some people get butthurt over dumb crap and to make themselves feel better they have to try to bring you low too. Had a guy who was the only one to escape tell me gg ez yesterday, Right after I destroyed the others and found out from one of them that he sat in a locker 90% of the game.

I would love to see a buff to crouching movement speed for killers, this makes it so it's more useful for GF to crouch but this also directly buffs the Pig (who is in a really poor state right now and I'm surprised to see only 1 vote for her. She definitely needs some kind of rework instead of just a buff [her power is far too inconsistent and relies entirely on RNG, meaning it can actually have some measure of impact in slowing the game down, or it's like she doesn't have a power at all])
Right now crouching movement speed is slightly slower than survivor running speed, killers who are crouching move at 90% as opposed to their typical 115 (both the Pig and GF are 115 killers). This makes them extremely slow when traversing the map and reduces their map pressure because they end up moving more slowly than if they were walking. My suggestion is to buff the crouching movement speed by 10% to match the speed survivors are typically moving at when they're running around the map gen rushing. Maybe even 105% to make crouching slightly more viable in chases but I don't know if that would be too much. Definitely buff crouching speed to 100% minimum, otherwise it can quickly become more of a hindrance than a help to crouch as these killers
I agree. I love pig and I want to love GF but I feel other than his TR/RS reduction his power is kinda underwhelming, and like you said there are times pig feels powerless. Both killers definitely need to be revisited.
-
I can agree with clown, leatherface and legion but GF needs an add on rework. Most his add ons are useless save the recovery ones. Also crouch doesn't do much either. He's just an m1 killer with no TR or RS

This is news to me, not that I play Overwatch anymore and despise CoD multiplayer. Last time I heard, it was still a bannable offense.
And it's also as I originally said. Different killers are viable on console and I like it that way. It also means thatI don't have to fall back in the meta survivor build.
News to me too. Last I checked the Xim and similar products were the only way and I know Sony will definitely ban you for using one and so will most developers. Respawn Entertainment and Blizzard have been trying to find a way to shut them down for a while.

Don’t use your power out if the open if you’re trying to stalk.
Always have cover nearby if you can see survivors. Because you can peak LOS by crouching or going around corners to prevent being uncloaked and still build up your stalk meter
So basically stalk like Myers without letting them see you?

So do those who play GF and tbag the hooks...do they get banned too?
My point is too many people would report just because their butthurt over a game. GF or Surv, if you get triggered over t-bagging you shouldn't be gaming at all cause it's in just about every game now. And no way the devs would have time to respond to or even care about t-bagging.
-
Lol. I can see it now. A surv crouches to hide from the killer. The killer sees it. The survs proceed to escape and and then the salty killer reports them for "t-bagging". Also you know how many people t-bag to say "hello"? Alot.

We had dozens of key post like this already.
Not a single one of them was right about keys being overpowered.
Keys are not unbalanced.
It does not allow survivors to just skip their main objective whenever they want.
They need to repair *amount of survivors* + 1 gens in order for the hatch to spawn.
Your scenario was that you claim you were on your way to 3 or 4k. You say 3 of them were alive. Further this means they repaired all generators except one for the hatch to spawn. How will you get a SAFE 100% 3k when they did all generators but one and 3 are still all alive? They can just split for the remaining gen.
It does not sound like such a hard winning game when 3 are still alive during the last gen.
Furthermore you claim that the hatch spawned and they instantly escaped. This scenario is insanely unlikely. It means after repairing the last gen they needed for the hatch it must have spawned right next to them.
I don't believe your story in the way you wrote it.
I'm sorry if you don't believe me doesn't hurt me none. Sorry you wasted your time writing whatever you wrote cause I'm not gonna waste my time reading it.

I think a lot of people forget that the survivor has to find the hatch. Half the time I have a key (which I bring into or find in like .01% of my games), I can't even find the hatch. If I bring a key, it's an easy tunnel or Franklin's. In the case of moris, they're guaranteed kills after hooking and downing the same survivor. As frustrating it is for killers, it's equally frustrating for solo survivors who have a derp team and a key is their only saving grace.
I totally understand all of this however I also believe there is a lot that could be done to fix this. Like the last survivor could have the hatch revealed to them for five seconds. And make it take longer for the killer to close it. Or just remove the sound from killers so they literally have to look for it. But the hatch shouldn't be an option for everyone to escape through if the played bad or didn't complete the main objective.

it's a 4v1 game and being able to make it 3v1 within the first 3 minutes of the game with no chance of the survivor actually surviving and getting any blood points and depiping is not anywhere close to fair also it's kinda hard to counter a mori unlike keys you can use Franklin's and kill the guy who had it. As long as Morris and keys are complete opposites cant have one without the other
Mori's need to have an additional stipulation like all other survivors have to be hooked at least once prior to the Mori being activated. The pink one would have the same requirement but only would allow you to Mori after the survivor has been hooked twice. I feel like mori's should be a way to circumvent DS and flashlights from ballsy survivors trying to save someone last second. Not as a way to speed up a game for an individual who already has so much at their disposal but doesn't use it well.
-
@Unicorn said:
If I'm the only Survivor actually doing my objective while my teammates wanna bully the killer, urban evasion into corners for no reason, or self-care all game instead of helping me I believe I have the right to use a key to get out. Let's remember that Survivors need to repair a certain amount of gens to get hatch unless they're the last one alive.
If we're gonna talk about things like this lets look at it from all perspectives which I know can be very difficult for a biased individual.
Lol you obviously didn't read my post. I never said there's anything wrong with ONE survivor using a key to get but an entire team? Especially when they did nothing all game but hide. I mean you said it yourself. If the survivors don't deserve it they shouldn't get out simple as that. Just like if the killer spends all game chasing one guy and all the gens pop he doesn't deserve to pip.

I don't find pink mori to be rare on PS4. Killers find & run them way more often than survivors bring in or use pink keys.
My Quentin is Level 50 with only one perk left to get before all are obtained and he has five pink keys. My Doc is Level 38 and has 10 pink moris already, and averages 1 - 2 per bloodweb level.
That said, the reason Quentin has all five pink keys still is because I won't use them in a match. But I don't think it's not as common as it seems. The escape with key tome challenge appears to be skewing things temporarily.
I'm only about 1,000 hours into survivor and usually red/purple ranks, but I can't remember the last time my rando teammates opened the hatch with a key and left me behind, it's been months at least
Yeah I get at least one pink Mori every bloodweb. Kinda ridiculous really.
-
@KerJuice said:
What happened to you, happened to me TWICE last night- back to back. The first match I didn't notice two survivors brought in a key, and the second match one of the survivors found a key probably because of the purple coin sacrifice. I was about to get 4k in both matches as well, when the last two survivors found the hatch- both times. It is what it is.
I think the key mechanic is fine as is. From what I hear, it use to be worse in previous builds- bring key, find hatch, leave. When I started in Nov 2018, you just need 2 gens done and the whole squad could leave. Now you need all gens done for the hatch to show itself, in order for a full squad. 1 gen less remaining for every survivor alive. I think it is balanced now. Mori is the killer's version of keys. I say leave as is.
Lol we started playing same month and year. I do remember it being far worse then.

Hatch Keys completely negate the game.
It lets the survivors bypass their entire main objective.
And while Moris can be pretty unfair, they are NOT at the level of absurdity that keys are. The only really unfair one is the Pink Mori, which can easily be balanced out and is far rarer than keys are.
I agree. The green one is fine. The pink needs a nerf though.

I can agree with that. The green one is fine but the pink one needs a nerf. This is coming from someone who plays ALOT of killer.

red stain is vital for mindgames. Terror radius needs to be removed, or drastically lowered. The removal of the terror radius would fix a lot in this game and it would also increase the amount of scariness and add more jumpscares to it.
This would actually be great idea. Forcing survs to actually look around and it would add a new element of fright that I feel this game drastically needs.
-
Instead of the red stain I think they need to take a look at survivor perks. Alot of them are balanced now but a few are still a little much and others not enough at all. For example if I'm tier 1 Mikey Mike then your Spine chill shouldn't be giving me away as easily as it does since Premonition and Alert don't work that way either. Perks like Spine just give too much of a head start in the first place. I had three games in a row last night were at least 3/4 of the survs had Spine. They weren't using it effectively but against red ranks it would have been a shite show. Basically they need to do something about the survivor perk meta. And I don't mean change it or nerf to the ground but all the perks in the game should be viable in one way or another, not just a handful of them.
-
Just tried playing him for the first time for a few games and yeah, he's pretty damn hard to control. It almost feels like it's just better to just demon dash to them and then "M1" rather than use the demon strike. (Ps4)
-
If the overall health of the game is fixed probably. But at this time matchmaking is crap, killer is in a horrible place, survivors are getting camped, slugged, tunneled and mori'd, unbalanced perks and add-ons/items on both sides and don't even get me started on the bugs. So at this point in time the answer is definitely no.

New ruin is fine the way it is. Splitting it would be a terrible idea and punishing someone for succeeding a skill check is dumb. There was also no skill required in the use of old ruin. I love new ruin. It forces the killer to actually pressure gens for it to work. And it's a great way to teach baby killers exactly that. Also survivors actively look for it way less because alot of them think that ruin is just dead now. It's not. Just not enough people understand how to use it properly.

Funny how Myers/GF share similarities yet one is fun and with the other I’d rather uninstall the game.
Mikey Mike is loads of fun to play against until you run into a really good one that can bounce off the hook with BBQ and drop the other three like flies with one tier 3. One of my fav meme builds is jumpscare Myers though. Also fat Myers. If you ever watch OhTofu you know what that is.
