I dislike Legion only recently because of a game I just had where the Legion and the survivor were working together. I like going against Huntress and Spirit they are fun to play with.
Oof. I hate when that happens. A wraith did that to me once but at the last second he turned on the guy that was outing everyone XD

I don't like Hillbilly. More recently, Ghost Face or Oni.
I love playing against new Doctor & Hag. Wraith can be fun. Hag is my favorite to go against though. I wish more people played her because she really switches up the playstyle of the game which can help break up the monotony of a gaming session.
Now, PTB Doctor that will be live in a couple weeks, jury is still out there for me.
Honestly, I dislike playing against one-shots. It feels like a crutch that the devs are really starting to lean on too much. Even if a Killer doesn't have a one-shot mechanic, it doesn't mean they don't have the ability via add-ons/Perks. Is there anything worse than someone popping a Haunting Grounds while you're already mid-chase so you get one shot?
I hate The Huntress. Probably my most hated killer because it feels like you can't do anything if you're playing against a good one. Can't window, can't pallet, can't loop. Oh, you think you can dodge a hatchet but your hit box becomes the size of a fridge or you get the infamous dedicated server~!
Mostly though, it is more about the person you're playing against than what killer they're using. If they're like Rank 10 and trying to slug for a 4k & making the last person sit on the ground while they search for the hatch - yeah, I just never want to play against that person because I feel like they're wasting my time. That's time I could be in a new lobby earning more Bloodpoints already. GOTTA PLAY AROUND THE DS & 4K! No, no you don't. It ain't that serious, dawg.
I can get on board with switching things up it does get boring sometimes playing a GhostFace 5 times in a row. I'm all for one-shots but I'm very big on them being earned and heavily timed. I'm a killer main for sure but when I do play I like to feel like the one-shot is actually earned in some way. That's why I don't play Billy and I think NOED should be removed.
And seriously some people get way to sweaty. just hook me already. If a survivor is down to screw around so am I 😁

least favorite is spirit. spirit with stridor is 2x worse.
So much yes. But spirit is one of my baby's so I'm currently trying to dump points into nurse for stridor. If it's to easy though I'll probably take it off.

fav ermm honestly most are fine, variation is the spice of life, they require different ways of dealing with them.
I however absolutely hate Freddy, hate what they did to my boy, made him so generic and so boring and obvious in setup.
Literally not a single Freddy does not run Pop and often other slow down perks its sooooo boring and unoriginal and unfun to play against.
Next to that Hag, because they are more often then not absolute scumbags when it comes to camping.
Completely agree about the hag. "Here let me place all my traps in front of you and then I'll facecamp too just to be safe" 😒

PS4 and I agree about the Trapper. I'm just awful about dealing with him and it just stresses me out because I assume he has traps everywhere. Hag and Freddy are second and third least favorites. I just don't like going against trap killers lol. I enjoy playing as them though, minus Trapper as I'm god awful with him.
Favorite killer to go against is Demogorgon. He's a lot of fun to loop and try to dodge is shred attack. I consider him the most balanced killer in the game with having a lot in his arsenal but also having plenty of counterplay. Win or lose I almost always have fun facing Demo-boy. I assume I'll also enjoy going against the new killer; he looks like a ton of fun to play as and against though I worry about how he'll control on console.
I also enjoy going against Nurse, Billy, Huntress and to the surprise of most people, Legion. I don't think I'll ever get sick of just sitting at a pallet and watching a Legion fake attack me 3+ times before finally doing it or just dropping out of power.
Don't worry I suck with trapper too. Can't stand his play style and for that reason I don't really play hag either. Never bought legion cause I know I won't like him but I love playing against him.

My favorite to go against is probably a Huntress with good ping, I love mindgaming hatchets and faking pallet drops.
My absolute most disliked killer is probably Hag. She is just so annoying and boring to go up against. And her traps give me a heart attack, which isn't really scary just annoying.
Yeah hag is kind of sh$#&y to go against. Alot of low ranking hags just facecamp or spend eternity placing all ten traps in your face. So by the time some overly immersed teammate actually tries to save you, you're already in phase 2.

I hate huntress. Not only can she snipe you from across the map, her lullaby gets stuck in your head even if you're facing a different killer so...yeah.
I love Nurse, I learned how to play against her back when she was common and powerful, so nowadays it's my easiest (and rarest) opponent.
I totally understand the huntress lullaby. I find myself humming that crab all the time.
-
I don't even get why Deep Wounds exists. Sorry BHVR but I have to go against you on this one. It's a trash mechanic. It literally does nothing till your not in chase and then it doesn't matter.
-
Both. I play both sides. Sometimes I play serious and other times I like to meme. Boop the snoot, basement bubba, catch and release and so on. Sometimes you have to make your own fun when things get too frustrating. Pebble is always fun.

This has to be one of the most wholesome posts I've seen in a while.

@fleshbox Thank you for your advice. I think I've got some YouTube tutorials to watch lol.

Seriously dont be nervous, a clean table a small bowl for the screws and a YouTube tutorial. Just the shell nothing extreme. You dont need to solder of motherboard just unscrew and rescrew a plastic box
Saved me from sending it out for repairs
Alright man I'll definitely give it a whirl. I appreciate your help.

You could always just wait it out. Not as effective endgame but if you think you might be DS'd just slug em. Someone else has to get them (barring unbreakable/no mither) which of course means less people doing gens.

My PS4 overheats when loading the game to open it, after that i can play normally but its stange how heavy is the first loading of wallet and things. Will definitively bring problems in the future
Yeah it never does it once the game is running only when it's loading and only when I've had it on for a bit. I have to turn it off for like and hour and even then the console isn't really warm.
-
@emptyCups Thank you. I'm not very tech savvy but I'm sure I got a buddy who is so if im not that comfortable with it I'll have him take a go at it. Again thanks.
-
@KrispiesChicken I will definitely give it a try
-
Did you actually look at the Dev update or just skim it for the word "Survivor"? First of all, the Devs clearly stated that breakable walls would be incorporated into existing maps as long as everything worked out.
-
Thank you for the read good sir.

I just memorize the totem spawn's. However I do think NOED is a pathetic perk. "Ive played bad this whole game but now I get a speed boost and I can insta down everyone". That's called being rewarded for being trash. I refuse to use it. Waste of a perk slot.

Well, the answer is no, but if you don't believe that when the developers themselves say it I doubt you'll believe it coming from me.
I'm confused as to how you got that impression at all from the last stream, though. We got so much information on that stream about stuff that is actually good for killers, some of which was designed exclusively with the killer's fun in mind.
- Disconnection penalties benefit killers more than they do survivors
- Killers always take priority in hit detection disputes, so they never miss a hit they should have landed
- Capsules are used as hurtboxes instead of survivor-shaped meshes so that killers don't miss hits due to animation quirks
- The team are working on adjusting killer hit animations to match the hit cone, so that players get a better visual idea of where their hits will land
- Aim Dressing was devised so that killers would always get the satisfaction of seeing themselves get hits, and not be disoriented by hits landing off-screen (the fact that Aim Dressing can cause killers to hit walls or objects instead of survivors was confirmed as an error that the team have agreed to look into)
- Console controller sensitivity is being improved, which will, among other things, make it easier for console killers to counter an attempted 360
Everything that was discussed on stream which is detrimental to the killer's gameplay experience pretty much comes down, not to the devs hating killers and designing the game accordingly, but to simple latency, and they confirmed that they were working hard on fixes for each one. I heard barely anything on the stream which talked about what was fun for survivors, except the part where they said that being hit from far away wasn't. In fact, if I were a SurvivorMain(TM), I might have thought that the developers were killer-sided just from watching that stream.
This is why people should actually watch the live stream. I was completely unaware of any of this till now and have only heard about how "Killer is in a bad place" for quite sometime now. That said I do think they need to adjust matchmaking again. My gf is R18 killer and just got a lobby of R8's and 12's.

Hi, how's everyone doing? Been playing this game for a while now, first time on the forum.
So as for some context as to what happened, deciding to play some Hillbilly (I main Trapper and Pig), in the pre-game lobby I saw all four of these guys had toolboxes, so mentally I prepared myself for a genrush. One of them sent us to Ormond as well.
The funny thing is that they tried repairing gens in front of me (namely the Killer Shack one), and weren't too nimble at getting out of the way while contesting it to get smacked.
At one point the Billiam Overbeck player ditched his toolbox for a flashlight, blinding me once. I knew he was going to keep trying that, so to get the Feng to the hook, I decided to go backwards.
Tow Mater style. And it worked.
Sure enough, he tried for the flashlight blind when I was doing that. And failed.
So once it was like, all gens done, I had Billiam on the hook and Claudette (the salty shitter you see in that postgame) downed, and I was watching Feng, almost daring her to open the gate since it wasn't too far away from us.
Then Kate rushed in, and that's when I started getting juggles and kills.
They could've just opened the gate and left to leave me with a 2k. But no, they wanted to be altruistic, and all three got themselves killed, while the Kate who was just at the exit gate wisely decided to leave as I was coming over.
Now I'll openly admit, I'm far from the best at this game, but I'll only camp if all gens are done. In any other situation, I won't do it since I view it as a waste of time.
@Ohlookahook2 said:
So I take it the sight of toolboxes triggered you and you went into a fit of rage and camped them. Yea that's pretty toxic.
Your fine bud. Camping is a huge part of endgame for the killer. Your kinda forced into it. They can report you as much as they want it won't do anything. The devs have even openly said that camping will not be a bannable offense. Don't let troll comments like this one get to you. No need to respond, it's not worth your time 😁
-
"The killer downed me and my game crashed right at the same time." 😑 Smh

@Mandy said:
I think that's one of the things frustrating survivor players right now - getting hit through windows which you've vaulted and run away from but the hit still registers. But this is going a little off topic, so I'll end this part of the discussion here :)
Fair enough :)

Oh you can, but hitting them like 3 seconds after they vault for example... it shouldn’t happen but it does all the time... doesn’t mean I hacked though it means dedicated servers are bad
Yes they are. Was chasing a Nea and thought she 360'd me until she dropped from the sky right in front of me and got insta downed by the fall I guess. Smh.

I see people at least threaten to report for so many things, if even half of them follow through I can only imagine how many tickets you guys have to sift through. Kudos to the team that does this!!!
Examples of things people have submitted a ticket for against me, unless they were trolling which is possible... Camping, tunneling, wall hack with Myers Pig and Wraith (uhm addons,) letting the last survivor have hatch (no other cooperation all game, not working with the me the killer,) hitting someone through window due to dedicated servers I mean the list goes on
I believe your actually supposed to be able to hit through vault locations. But only a certain range. Could be wrong on that though.

Why not just set things back to the way they were a year or two ago. Then:
1. Increase the rate at which bloodlust is activated and decrease the time between each bloodlust.
2. Decrease wiggle time and increase chances of escaping the hook on your own.
3. Decrease map size and either increase space between hooks or reduce the number of total hooks by a small amount (3 or 4)
4. Heavily punish face camping and unsafe hooks. Decrease speed for killer the longer they camp a survivor when there is no other survivors within a certain range. This would take effect only if the killer remains in close proximity to the hook for too long and they would receive no indication of the debuff. Unhooks made while the killer is within 5 -10 meters of the hook with line of sight would also add a limited speed debuff to the survivor who made the unhook. This in theory would prevent tunneling in an unsafe unhook situation as the debuffed survivor would be an easier catch. Unhooked survivors should also gain a small speed buff when unhooked.
5. Leave Ruin the way it is. Killers need to learn to pressure gens as it is a fundamental part of playing killer. Ruin now goes hand in hand with this concept.
