Iron Will is my favourite perk in the game. It's so useful.
It is one of the best for sure.

No I am done here. And I'll be sure not to even engage in conversation with some people from this thread anymore.

@TreemanXD I don't see how. The most I could argue is @Tzeentchling9 and that's me stretching for a proving point. (No, I'm not saying he is toxic or said something toxic).
Everyone else is pretty much saying they disagree and in a civil manner, they explain why.
This thread proves nothing @Judith
Mhm very civil.
-
I did bond and iron will before but I am not sure it made my survival better or worse.
-
Whatever helps you sleep at night. Being toxic with a victim mentality is even worse than just being toxic. There you go, my comparison of "severity".
-
Because people are trying to defend toxic behaviour. Toxic is toxic.
Comparing two toxic things doesn't make one non toxic.

Killer mains defending 30+ hostage doc matches while crying that survivors are sitting in exit gates too long to tbag, what an absolute joke.
As for the people saying it's "the survivors faults". Load up a hostage doc match, pick three gens and refuse to check any of the gens except for the three that you're protecting.
See how the survivors have no choice in this? They constantly get hit/shocked on these three gens so they do the others, even if they WANTED to do one of the other three gens he could just do the same as what he was now, the survivors progressed the match as much as they possibly could.
I swear half of you don't even play this game.
That is not comparable at all. Hiding when you can escape is holding the game hostage. Patroling gens to prevent escapes is doing objective.
-
I need those chase points tho.
-
@GrootDude said:
This thread kinda proves your point.
Yep.
-
You can farm off afk killer and get escape points by running around them.
Spirit got you and you probably didn't unhook anyone. Just looping the killer doesn't cut it anymore even tho you did a little bit of gens.

My point still stands.
If hypocrisy is fine by you.

And why did you do that? I'm guessing it wasn't because they were being friendly.
I did that long before dbd because multiplayer games are toxic.

All these down votes on posts saying Survivors are more toxic are hilarious.
I have yet to have a Killer wish death, #########, and yeast infections on myself and all my family after a match. Or spam invites to ready made groups named after hate messages. Or leave hate mail all over my steam profile.
All of that, Survivors have done repeatedly.
There are downvotes on people saying both sides are equally toxic also. If you didn't notice.

Players can send messages to each other on console, didn't you know?
I blocked my messages so I don't.

Camping is not bannable.
-
I regret even buying her because of the nerf let alone buying cosmetics unless they give her a buff.
-
I am not a survivor main and I still think both sides are toxic.
Hitting survivor on hook multiple times is toxic. If it isn't then tbag is also not toxic.
-

On PS4 it is the opposite
This.

I wouldn't ban for this. I don't mind being slugged for 4k either for an hour. If killer wants 4k that hard sometimes I give my all with the last survivor also. It can be a waste of time but unusually challenging and even fun experience. True horror.
-
@BadMrFrosty said:
Pig's getting a buff this patch. Look, two cosmetics! Now show them how much you appreciate her end game changes and buy those skins. Go on, do eet.
You're gonna buy it anyway, aren't you? -_-
I agree with this. As much as Pig can be "fun" what they did to her without compensating should not be rewarded with money.
-
Do you also play survivor? Try and see how many times you escape in 10 games in red ranks on the other side too.
-
Mom is being reworked.

I might try woo more.
That is one more perk majority see as useless and I swear by it lol. I will never play without it.

I try to figure out where I’ll go anyway.
I just use woo and no need to observe my surroundings that much so I can concetrate on objectives. I can be almost anywhere and have a clear idea where windows and unbroken pallets are.
-
I think playing the game without deliberately insulting someone is not toxic, objectively. Doing something to provoke the other person is toxic.
For example If I was camped by a killer but he/she isn't bm'ing I don't see that as toxic. If survivor is bodyblocking the hook without bm'ing that is not toxic either.
If you add bm'ing like noding, hitting, tbagging, flashlight clicking to those scenarios that is toxic.

I do also think Sb is better than dh but if I use an exhaustion perk it is either lithe or bl.
Those two are also good and most people will agree with you. I find them too situational tho. You always have to plan before the chase.
-
I don't use ue but I prefer sb over dh based on personal experience. My survival gone up since i switched those two and I never looked back.
-
Not really a fan of the later two but thanks for suggestion.
-
This is cute in a way lol but he is clearly talking about hugging walls to optimise loops. It can be hard to to do it properly as killer but you should try mindgames anyway. Running around pallets in a way that is too predictable should only be done 10-20% of times.
Or maybe try bamboozle or spirit fury+enduring combo if you are too straightforward. I hope you understood.
-
At least someone agrees. :)

Okay thanks to those who actually answered my question!!!
As for the NOED topic change why did you guys change the subject into that? :^(
Because he was trying to derail it into survivor vs killer debate with his comment. But it is my fault also, so I apologise.

@TheShape78 said:
I agree, but let's be honest...this whole community is filled with toxic players, regardless of which role they choose to play in game.
True but unfortunately not only this one. Sometimes I wonder why are most people like this and why can't they be nice? They even put toxic in their name like it is some kind of medal.
-
I agree about the "pack" thing but killers can be toxic as well regardless. They may be alone but as a survivor you can be powerless and sometimes killer get that power trip doing everything to make you feel helpless and without options to stop it.
-
@PoisonN said:
As a killer I feel more "intoxicated" than survivor... No matter how I'm playing, even if I don't tunnel or camp the same group with pink neas (Zzz) will click click click the entire match with flashlights, throw pallets for nothing when I'm passing OR complaining saying that I'm a baby killer, ezi whatever
As a survivor I don't feel stressed tbh
Really? For example last two games playing survivor I had two different toxic Myers who kept bm'ing throughout the game without me doing anything to earn it.
-
What I mean by toxic is bm'ing. Not tunneling or camping or "gen rush".
-
It would be abused.
-
Most multiplayer games I played are filled with toxic people and bad sportmanship. You can't escape it. Might as well just play along and grow thicker skin.
-
Seems I am the only one then. When killer become stressful I just play survivor more and when I start feeling helpless I just play killer.
I prefer playing the game over waiting.

As someone who is on console, I make sure I tell them GG in private chat. (Unless they camp or tunnel, then I put out one of these bad bois 🤮)
Unless they blocked messages like me.

Windows of opportunity.
-
I only use ruin because finding someone before it pops can be a game changer.
I thought this topic was a bait but you are actually being civilised. I respect that.
-
Ruin slows the game down by 30 seconds yes.
-
I would never use Noed. That's how good of a perk it is.
Exception doesn't prove anything tho. Yes I would still think Noed is a bad perk used by not so good killers.

Yes, it's true, but they do not think it can take revenge on them? Someone if meet them again can take a nurse with good stuff and is it the end of the game for this ppl. Idk but i don't think so being toxic in this game is good, most of time bullying someone is like kicking yourself in face.
They don't but they dc or/and get salty if you punish them.
It is not worth it tbh, if you focus on one survivor you are going to lose the game.
-
What would you have Myers wear tho? Any ideas? I was thinking about it too since I main him but nothing comes to mind except maybe 2018 mask or recolor of the outfit.
-
I love bamboozle on Myers. I tried sf+end combo but it isn't for me.

Yes to both.
*drops mic*
Haha fair enough.
-
It is like that in most multiplayer games. The problem with survivors is pack mentality. Killer is alone so he/she gets bullied. Just nature running its course unfortunately and some people are really primitive.
