Technically yes but it's easier said than done.
What do you think is the biggest obstacle to this?
-
@NuclearBurrito Yeah you have some reasonable ideas and I am not against it. We think alike. I can't take people who just flat out say "remove it" seriously.
-
As a killer I love mindgaming loops and if I get outplayed it is on me. I am aware that some killers are weak for that but that is another story and they need some buffs to keep up.

If you lost a survivor after breaking a pallet, then it's because that survivor stopped looping and juked you. Looping, by definition, is just wasting as much of the killer's time as possible, with no intention of actually winning the chase.
If they wasted my time with loops and used a pallet to juke me that is even better than juking me immediately. You present good counter arguments but I still think that game would be severely unbalanced if loops get removed.

Sorry I was responding to Orion.

Are you sure? Plenty of times I lost a survivor after breaking a pallet. Doubt I am in minority. And even if you can't escape you can buy time for others to do gens. If you are running in the open jukes can only help you so far. Pallets give survivors some chance to survive.
-
Yes considering the fact survivors have hardly any other means to escape. Pallets and loops are there for a reason and make the game what it is today. If you take that away you are left with either completely unbalanced and unfun game or something that isn't dead by daylight. You are not thinking about consequences nor are you presenting alternatives. You can't just remove them like that it is silly.
-
Nurse can't be looped but Billy can. And Nurse is not balanced in my opinion.
-
Ok but what is the alternative? How can survivors survive without loops?
-
So people like less variety according to you. Maybe you are right since most people just want to win. Even if games get repetitive as long as they win they get their daily dopamine fix. I bet most people don't like challenge either.
-
I disagree. It saved me even better than before if I am tunelled since it activates immediately. And when I play killer and come back to pick up someone after chasing others it can still hit me. One minute can be quite long considering some games end really fast.
-
I hope people don't get tired playing against the same killers all the time then. It is a real shame that we have less variety if you ask me.
-
Freddy, LF and Legion. Pig is very close now even tho I like her.
-
Anyone who generalise is automatically biased.
-
Source? I don't see people hating Ming more than other survivors.
-
I like playing Myers most.
Others have some good perks but If you want to get killer to play him/her and not just perks go for Myers. Others are weaker.
-
DH can be used every 40 seconds only if you escape immediately after doing it. Doing dead hard doesn't give you adrenaline speed boost like when you get hit. Killers can bait dead hard if they are not mentally challenged. Latency can make dead hard useless...
Do I really need to go on?
-
If I am dead and you are talking to me, that makes you...?
-
Hooking two people or downing one while having someone hooked is the best medicine for gen rushing. After that just go back and forth.
-
Creepy...
-
When survivors dc when I outplay them, I consider it a win. I have a good laugh too. One example is when they try so hard to flashlight save and I pretend to pick survivors up only to down their friends waiting nearby. Or when they waste every pallet to teabag and dc after they get down from the lack of safe spaces lol.
Just laugh it off. Ranks are a joke anyway.
-
Killers can be toxic too. Just get used to it, be the change you want to see.
-
I would never waste a perk slot on whispers lol.
-
Some of us like the challenge of playing killer. Unless survivors mess around, it is equivalent to playing survivor then.
-
She needs buff to her powers, at least the ambush to make her more viable.
-
I don't find this idea appealing at all.
