Should've been around for original "Borrowed Time" ...
-
Trapper - Just because there is nothing more satisfying than someone stepping on a trap.
Clown - But I only use the yellow bottles, and speed perks, then make racecar noises when I am chasing people...
-
I enjoy the random nature of the perk, but I'm just dropping items like this on the floor....
-
I usually play Trapper, so I'll just stick a trap right in front of them in hopes that they un-afk and get a welcome back gift.

In a hurry just forgot to write the gist of the post: it would be great if they add voicelines to other survivors. Ash definetely should talk during match (don't know how possible and expensive would be to ask Bruce again). RE squad also need inmatch voicelines.
Agreed. I've thoroughly enjoyed the Nic Cage lines when he gets picked up, or when he's opening the gates. Makes it feel more cinematic.
-
As much as I loved L4D I feel like a lot of the DBD characters are similar enough to the characters, especially with the available outfits.
Regardless, I'd still like to see them, especially if we could get some voice lines to go with them.
-
He really does have some top tier voice lines. I wish they would do this for more characters.
-
I keep getting broken keys with incompatible add-ons....
-
Con Air : Long hair / Tank top / Jeans
Wicker Man : Bee Suit
Raising Arizona : Sweet Moustache / Hawaiian shirts
-
Trying to get the "Left 4 Dead" Achievement on Xbox after doing it about a dozen times and it not popping up and hearing this....
-
I thoroughly enjoy "Basket Case" and see the connection, I'd like to think The Twins may also have received inspiration from "Kuato" in "Total Recall"
-
I would just be happy if I could get through the blood web faster when I have two million blood points, that's the real grind...

Losing 2-3 gens is pretty normal on first chase and should realistically happen every game just like the killer on average gets 5-7 hooks per game
Best you can do is play the 5 gens that you’re left with and focus on creating dead zones to lead survivors into especially if they predrop pallets
Everyone focuses on "I lost gens before a down." Usually the fastest gens are on the outside of the edge of the map when a survivor spawns right on top of it. Losing a fast outlier gen shrinks the map, which will work in your favor.

Give me your team and invite me. Otherwise, your generalization of my games doesn't mean much. I remain ready to show you how to play Trapper proper.
Nothing more satisfying than a good Trapper game.

Yeah, happening all the time.
same with perks that I would to change up. Whelp, gonna play another game with WGLF even though I get barely any use out of it anyways because it’s a character I only play for dailys
Items as well. By the time the game returns to the menu and I click start game and grab my phone, the brain fog has set in...

The common (someone made a YouTube video) build for this is hex: face the darkness, sloppy butcher, hex: thrill of the hunt, and insidious. Combined with the add-ons that block survivors from seeing the box and one that shows the cenobite the box location.
You injure one survivor and go stand on top of the box for the rest of the game.
So there's a permanent chain hunt because you're body blocking it. Face the darkness can't be cleansed because, with thrill, it takes 28 seconds to cleanse the totem, but they are forced to scream and interrupt the cleanse every 25 seconds. You can't heal the injured survivor because of sloppy and the interrupts.
The game is a win, but is guaranteed to be an excruciatingly long match for survivors.
With the snowmen, you get insidious for free and can put ruin in for even longer matches. At that point, you have a 45 minute slog for survivors who basically earn nothing in two categories for the game.
And the killer can go afk after the first minute.
Edit: autocorrect.
That's lowkey pretty funny actually. It would be a nightmare, but funny none the less.
-
I usually only run meme builds, and snoot boopage is on par. So absolutely.
-
If you haven't managed to get the achievement since 2016, what's another month?
-
I've just been playing turbo Santa Clown, using just yellow bottles and zooming around. I don't go for kills, just my 8 hooks. Pretty fun, ngl. I try to get high fives in the snowman near end game, and its about 50/50. Overall 5/7 good times.
-
Yeah, probably.
-
To be fair, Myers has been around for 5+ years, so odds are if survivors are facing a tombstone Myers, they aren't trying to deny you the achievement per se, they are just trying to survive. And in response to the closeness, you have to tap the attack and not lunge attack to get the kill.
-
I play against the bots when I'm at work and using cloud gaming.
-
I had recently unhooked someone, saw a snowman walking up, and was thinking, "Why not jump out and help heal?", for it to turn out to be a Bubba. That was legit funny.
I have also been beckoning grinchy killers to the Christmas trees in the basement and leaving them presents. Some of them won't be getting anything next year...
-
Trapper Bean... Fall Guys skin confirmed.
-
The amount of piggies that don't want their snoot booped anymore makes me sad.
-
So what has happened, the game was free to play under the initial PlayStation Plus. PlayStation Plus has now divided games into "Tiers" for different amounts (Compare to basic Hulu / Hulu without ads being different prices) and DBD has since been moved to a higher tier, possibly based on popularity, and now user would have to upgrade his plan to continue playing.
But I'd have to stress the fact that, if you liked the game, purchase it before you buy DLC for it. The PS+ is essentially there to try out games, more like a rental, as they add and delete games all the time.

Higher FOV.
I feel like a lot of people playing killer rely too much on the line of sight, and don't pay attention to crows flying, and blood pools.
-
Or a pink hatchet, or an orbed spikey club, or a bottle with a pinky, or advanced voyeurism....

For me it’s huntress. That lullaby freaks me out all the time.
The new skinned huntresses lullaby is top tier.
-
Twins pressure is in the injured / downed survivors imho, and not on the generators.
But I can't confirm or deny anyone's specific game style.
Whatever is easiest and most effective is usually the route most taken.
-
This was a pretty fun mechanic in the past to unlock cosmetics and such.
-
"(Getting SWF Team Six every Game)."
-Two of the three screen shots show multiple system / console players with no distinction of being SWF

Another lithe gamer Hell Yeah!
Well the % just went down some more.
I also use Lithe. I also like to use Overcome + Lucky Break if I'm rocking a med kit.

I think the killer entitlement book is filling up also:
- Can't use any meta perks - if you do I camp
- No flashlight saving - if you do I camp
- Body blocking - if you do I camp
- Going to god pallets - if you do I camp
- Pop more than 1 gen before I get my first down - if you do I camp
- Destroying my totems in first 2 minutes - if you do I camp
- Bringing a map offering - if you do I camp
- Jumpin into a locker with DS - if you do I camp
- Sabotaging hooks I'm bringing survivors to - if you do I camp
- Playing in a swf - if you do I camp
This is my dumb version of the killer rulebook. I think the concept of a survivor handbook is extremely outdated and think it's something we should try and move on from.
I'm sorry your getting horrible messages but these people are just stupid and don't represent all survivors.
All I could think of while reading this was Jasper from The Simpsons.....
-
Does getting camped and / or tunneled suck? Yes.
Does getting gen rushed / looped suck? Yes.
Should you play the game however you want without any disregard for anyone else's feelings? Yes
-
The real skin needed for Twins......

How do totems counter nurses?
"Inner Strength" heals you in a locker after cleansing a totem and doesn't proc "A Nurses Calling" to reveal aura.
-
Anytime I do the sabo tome or daily, I use "Built to Last" and "Streetwise" to maximize the amount of hooks I can drop in a match.
-
I like to use Overcome with other distraction perks, like Diversion and Deception. It allows me to get to a tile of obstructed view and use said perks.
-
I like to run a very situational build a lot as survivor. Unbreakable / Tenacity / Flip Flop / Power Struggle.
And I love a full hex build on Trapper. Ruin / 3rd seal / Haunted Grounds / Undying w/ the hurt yourself for disarm trap add on.
-
Oh thank God I thought I was the only one running around and not seeing them.
I've had games where I will die EGC because I had the mentality that if I don't find this crown, I'm not leaving.

You start with 7 generators...
Just an odd way to word it. Usually when you hear "5 gens left" its in relation to the completion of the gens. I understood your point after I mulled it over several times.
-
@Blackowt_9120 said:
That’s pretty much the only way a killer can succeed on Haddonfield unless they snowball early. When it gets down to only 5 gens left with 4 survivors most killers are going to be pushing for that 3 gen strat
So..... From the start of the match?

Nope, the objective is repair 5 gens and escape.
If you’re hatching out with gens not done, it’s admission of defeat. You’ve purposely abandoned your primary (and only) objective knowing you can no longer complete it.
False. The survivors objective is ESCAPE. Repairing generators is only one aspect of supplying the means to complete this.

I believe the actual figure is closer to 1.6 escapes these days.
Perhaps. But in reference to original post. Balanced.
At worst it would be a "tie" and not a 'loss'.
-
Two Kills.
Two Escapes.
Sounds balanced.
