  • If I didn't had a nice game, I won't reply to gg.

I think it's too easy to make the game unfun for the other part without caring about anything other than yourself and say gg at the end. That's one of the reasons I like better playing on my ps4 than on my steam account.

So I don't really care. I just go on.

  • Most swf aren't even good. Mine is an example: I and my friends mostly all play super bad and bring our meme perks. But sometimes the killers are even worse than us... it happens.

About queues, I struggle finding killer games, not survivor ones.

  • It depends... If I have a daily of being chased for 120 seconds and I'm not sure I was, I try to get some extra time close to the gates even if I die doing so. But... yeah, you get points for being chased just by escaping in front of the killer and survivors don't really get that many. If you have WGLF and there's someone next to you, you get a stack for a protection hit and so 25% more bloodpoints. I believe that's the reason. Besides if the killer hits you, they also get points, so it can be a good thing, if both sides didn't get the max points on these categories.

  • Unfortunately, I find it easier to find matches as survivor than as killer. Unless it's after the daily challenges reset. At that time I may take 1-2 minutes to find a match as survivor and be instant as killer... but matchmaking is questionable at those times. But before that, it really takes me 10-15 minutes to find match as killer. And since my killers don't even have much to work with, I'd rather play something else.

  • Yeah, I get you. This game really is unfun once you get close to the red ranks. All the killers use the same builds, it's all tunneling and camping the most they can and trying as hard as they can to slaughter the survivors. I think I have more fun against high rank survivors than killer.

I got stuck in red ranks for 2 months once I got there and then I decided toijust play other things. I even gifted my friends new games to replace dbd and I've been playing more variety now. I'm trying to stay at rank 10-9 as survivor now. I think there's where you can have the most fun and don't need to care so much about meta perks. Sometimes I will die, sometimes I will survive, but it isn't a sweaty match in which anything goes for the objective.

As killer I try and stay around rank 14-15 that is what I think my level is and then I can play killer even without having many add ons or perks and usually not deal with people way more experienced than me that I can barely touch.

But that's it. Once I get to rank 9 at survivor or rank 12 as killer, I just stop playing until the reset, unless my friends really insist on playing it, in which case I try my best not to pip.

  • Bond is a must for me.

As for killer, I don't really have any must perk. Maybe bbq because I always want points, but that's it.

I do think preventing the load so others don't lose their offerings and add-on(s) is more polite. However, I will say that I don't think you should avoid those games. I play both Killer and Survivor and I can tell you that as a Survivor I have beaten those odds, and as the Killer I have been beaten. A Spooky Myers on an indoor map is NOT a certain victory, nor is a Spooky Myers on a big outdoor map an automatic loss. I think you are cheating yourself of potentially really fun games.

It's not about winning or losing. I don't really care about surviving that much, but I wanna have some fun in the matches I have (I still have to complete missions that require escapes, but I'll eventually complete them).

The last fun match I can remember I had against Myers was like 3 or so months ago (and I stopped loading into matches with indoor map offerings from like 2 weeks ago, when I was wall hack camped last... so maybe later I will try them again, but I'm taking a break from them now because since these last 2 months the killers seem to be camping and tunneling harder with those kind of add ons equipped (that's my perception), and I wanna chill in these last days of the year, not get mad over a game. So it's best to avoid it for now.

I had a game that a Pig camped and tunneled me like that for about 4 gens and everyone but me escaped. I won't say I didn't have any fun, because I was testing the new perk Deception and it worked sometimes with her, but... it was frustrating I couldn't do anything else and it wasn't even fun because I knew she would just ignore everyone else to go after me, even if it meant losing the game for her (what happened in the end).

I didn't get points, I didn't get any progress over my cleansing totens mission andI also depipped, because no heals + no gens + just chases, since I was the first one she found, means no rewards, but i don't really care about this part that much.

So... yeah. But I really hope you can have fun sometimes with your build and I hope next year I am able to face someone who's looking for a fun match too, not just stand there admiring auras next to a hook.

Happy holidays for you and good games.

  • At this point, I don't really judge anyone.

I used to love going against scarejump Myers or Pig, even if I died. But after going twice against Myers that used the wall hacks just to camp me from somewhere away from my field of view and many camping and tunneling Pigs, I just don't load in matches with map offerings like these.

Games that were supposed to be fun scary times turned into me just waiting for death on the hooks with a wall hack jerk. I don't even see the point, so I don't take the risk anymore... But at least you get to keep your offering to use on someone else.

  • I only have Plague at P1 and I regret it, because I have no perks anymore.

I don't plan to get prestige on any other character as of now.

  • I love Silent Hill, so it's there on my favorites. I kinda also like Hawkins.

I despise dead zone maps, such as Autohaven and also the Swamp (but the swamp mostly because I can't see anything there as a killer).

  • I had a match in which I need to stun the killer some times... so I used Head On and burnt a Silent Hill offering to be sure I would have lockers to use.

I was matched against a Ghost Face and I have to say that I jumpscared him through those corridors more than he jumpscared us hahahaha.

I don't remember if I lived, but my mission was sucessful.

  • I think they're super funny hahaha

Whenever I play I killer I'm not used to and have no idea what I'm doing, I use those to put on the "noob eyes". Sometimes the survivors drop their guard because of that too, so it's nice hahaha.

  • @MythMage said:

Please, for the love of god, look up a f-ing tutorial on what you should be doing as survivor.

I get it. It's a complicated game. It's got more depth than the f-ing Pacific Ocean.

But HOLY ######### my mind is actually fracturing from the behaviour displayed by survivors in my games.

If you aren't being chased, DO A F-ING GENERATOR. I can't tell you how many times I've seen my teammate with Empathy or while I'm on the floor sitting in a corner doing absolutely nothing.

If someone is about to go into the next stage of sacrifice, DO NOT, AND I MEAN DO NOT, WALK YOUR SLOW ASS FROM HALFWAY ACROSS THE MAP. You are actively killing your team by doing this.

If you just got hit by the Killer, DO NOT THROW A PALLET. You move at 150% move speed for 2 seconds after being hit. Do not waste a pallet that another teammate or yourself could use later.

If you hear the Terror Radius, don't hide in a corner or a locker. Identify the area with the most safety in your immediate area, then determine where the Killer is most likely coming from. This will save your life, your teammate's lives, and it's overall more efficient.

If you are on a generator and you miss a skill check, DON'T WALK AWAY. Commit to the generator until you are in danger. Also, don't go for great skill checks when you're new. Go for good skill checks. 10x easier, and greats aren't that great on gens anyway.

Just the little things. I swear your gaming experience and your teammates' gaming experience will be made a million times better if followed even one of these 5 guidelines.

Thank you for coming to my tedtalk

I think you need to chill down a bit. I'd say 90% of the survivors you play with won't even read this.

Now, about throwing pallets after being hit. I play on PS4 and I have a problem that many times I need to press the button earlier than standing at the pallet to throwing it down in time not to be hit. But sometimes I press the button, am hit before the animation and the pallet still gets dropped, after the hit (I also admit that I usually press the button to drop 2-3 times, just to be sure)...

It's not the same when I play on pc, because on pc you can interact with things in "real time"... in PS4 it has a slight button press lag that I need to compensate by antecipating some moves and judgements... and I get locked on it.

So it happens sometimes and even I hate it, but...

  • When I do it is because I'm leveling up my characters. People complain so much about queue times, but sometimes I get a survivor match in like 30 seconds and can't spend the bloopoints I might have from a mission I just completed or something like that.

So I do it on the go (I also want to get perks, you know). As killer, I do the same thing, but less likely, since normally I have to wait some minutes before playing killer.

You do lose them, if the match started for like a few seconds and then host dc or "lose connection from host" after the game started for a minute or 2, you lose everything and it counts like you've lost a match. I've lost offerings, add-ons, and ranking bc of this and it won't even be me

Normally, you don't lose if someone quit while loading the match. But... I've had some games with friends when one of them didn't load in the game. We were already playing and this friend was still in the loading screen for some reason and out of nowhere it shows that she disconnected, when she didn't. Soon after everyone was disconnected from the match.

I think this is a bug in the game, as it's not often. But when this happens, you lose your offerings and add ons, but I can tell you it doesn't exactly means someone really had quit.

  • But I wanna take little Victor for a ride hahahha. Sincerely, most of the times I keep him is because Charlotte is coming.

You don't have to win every game, usually as a survivor I just want to get a decent amount of bloodpoints. Before I die.

I usually run maps and detectives hunch just to find totems because those suckers are worth as much as an unhook. Plus if there are hexes it helps my teammates when I get rid of them.

Doing bones, good for me, good for you.

I know I don't. I die most of my games, but killers also don't have to kill everyone every time and I like to escape sometimes too. That's the point.

I also have missions that I need to escape (from the actual and the past archives) and it's also 5k points too. And if you have a map, you get to keep it (as you can see, I don't have many items... actually, I have a lot of medkits and toolboxes, but not the rest).

I'd care even less if at least I could get item and perks as survivor as easily as it is for killer, but it's like 5 games just to get 2 perks.

  • Not everybody has Detective's Hunch and, besides, you need to pop a gen to use it, so if there's a high mobility killer with the combo and tinkerer it is a challenge for average players.

As for maps, right now I guess I have like 5 on my main (yes, that many), after using them about once a week. Survivors don't escape that often, on average. And I'm on that list, so these maps burn fast.

Also, as survivor I don't get as many point as killers to get maps every now and then to use to track the totems. And oh boy, I'm still learning the maps and well hidden totems, like in the new maps, even with small game makes it hard to find and the killer is seeing you meanwhile.

So in the end the solution turns out to "rush" the gens and pray that I can loop enough not to get down until the killer decides to patrol another gen.

But anyway, thankfully it's more common on red ranks, so that I don't have to see it every other game.

  • I do get that feeling sometimes, but I still don't use meta perks on either sides. On killer I just avoid playing after the daily missions time (here is 9 PM, but I don't know the official time), because that's when the matchmaking start getting me to the red ranks in my yellows.

As survivor it's harder because I usually pip even not wanting to. I'm trying to stand at green/purple ranks to be able to use perks like Flip Flop, Better Together, Tenacity and still have fun because I'm not being hard tunneled without DS/Unbreakable and exhaustion perks to keep me in the game to get some points.

  • Yesterday I died on struggle because of a frame drop. GG.

  • Victor still has many bugs. Tried to play them today and I got that messed up field of view that makes it look like Victor had his neck crushed. Try aiming for a hit with that. Besides I still got him orbiting Charlotte.

I like their design, but still has things to be looked upon. Besides, I also think it's hard to hit the pounce on controller, but maybe I don't play killer enough to get the hang of it (but on the other hand, I always had problems with first person view).

  • I love seeing these baits and the way all discussions that involve DS or Undying go. Makes me feel like in a kindergarden hahahahaha. Let's have fun.

  • Not a TED talk but ok hahahaha

I don't really have any problems with slugging (I mean, strategically), because it can be counterplayed by smart decisions from the survivors and it can give the killer needed pressure if done right.

As for the power, I think the point of 4.4 killers is that their powers are really powerful, so I also do think there should be punishment for not using it right (high power, high penality). I think all powerful killers need to have a skill cap like that, because otherwise it's a slaughter. But anyway, if you made right decisions too and had a great game, that's what should matter the most. I even have fun with nurse missing 80% of her blinks hahaha

    P.S. I love you Komodo16!

  • I guess you're lucky. Every time I bring prove thyself my teammates seem to act like I was infected by the plague vomiting the gen hahahahaha I gave up on it at this point haha

  • I won't say every single game, because I'm not at res ranks now, but everyday at least 1. If it's the first match, I'll just switch to another game.

As example: yesterday I went against a pig that camped me at 4 first hook. I looped her enough for a single gen, because one teammate was just crouch hiding.

She crouch camped to avoid bt and went after me with an active trap on the head (why even put a trap of you're gonna do that?). I was testing the new locker Elodie perk, so I lost her. So she proceeded to camp the boxes. I was able to get 2 of them (wrong ones) before she found me. Then again tried to tunnel and let's go for another chase (at that point I was quite grateful because more than half of my time was up).

She found another teammate in the way and ignored them to follow me. Lost her again and got the third box (also wrong, lucky me). She hit a teammate meanwhile.

I was like 20 seconds of dying and there again she came looking for me. So I started to run to stop the timer. She downed me and second hook.

Again, crouch camping and I was quite thankful, because I was gonna die from the trap and that mistake of hooking me saved me.

Off the hook, there she came again. I looped her close to the last box I needed to check and she slugged me afraid of DS. Then she went to look for someone else (?). Thanks to that I could get up and got the last box about 3 seconds before exploding my head and guess who was back to little more tunnel?

In the end I died (and then the 4th gen was done), depipped because I couldn't do a single gen, there was no one to heal. No totem, just chases and boxes. Barely got any points. And she took 3 escapes.

I'm so grateful I never went close to the basement, because it would be certain death for me even sooner.

That was unnoptimal play and I consider it very unhealthy, because I wasn't able to do anything in the game and for what purpose? She tried to camp the boxes so that I died by the trap, and I'm lucky she wasn't good at it.

But I'd rather avoid games like these. It ain't fun for no one and I even brought a party streamers, just to get 19k in the end.

But everyday there are games like that. After the second one in a row, I go play something else.

  • As killer, you also get an icon telling you the survivor have a perk that affects you, like Boiling Over.

Whenever any player have a hazard, the game tell you why. That's OK.

Actually, I expect literally everything from survivors. I may not panic about it, but I am always watching for sneaky moves. For example, a really satisfying thing I like to do is when I slug a survivor for a short time and down someone else, I go back to the first one who crawled onto a pallet. This immediately makes me think that they have unbreakable and want to use it and drop the pallet on my face, so I lunge right before I go to pick them up and down them if they attempt to do it to hit them. It has happened twice to me, but it was incredibly satisfying and boosted my ego for a good while afterwards. Same thing for other cheesy survivor jukes like the CJ tech, or locker-flashlight tech.

I always have a little feeling in my chest when expecting flip flop to come into play, but for as long as it has been around I have not seen it work like that once.

Oh boy, I even forgot flashlight from a locker grab existed hahaha.

I got some uses of flip flop without escaping with it. I like it with tenacity because I can just crawl to somewhere where the killer won't be able to carry me to the hook and then I can figure my way out. But, sincerely, the 2 times I got the hatch. One of them the killer was careless. The hillbilly didn't close the hatch that wasn't so far from me and went for the hook first (maybe he was afraid of losing me, since I made myself clearly visible while walking away from the hook).

The second time, the hatch just happened to spawn not close from the hook the killer was taking me to.

On the other hand, last week I was facecamped by a clown because I managed to use it on the first down, because he went to kick the gen before picking me up... and I was like "ok, flip flop is op" hahahaha.

I like these moments. I'm new to the game so I don't really feel proud of many of my moves. I make lots of mistakes, but at least I can have fun with perks like these.

  • @Yords said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1808258#Comment_1808258

That still seems pretty uncommon to happen. I can understand being able to wiggle out with help from tenacity and flip flop, but that combination is pretty rare to see.

But hey, idk much about that perk combo since I have played tons of hours and never seen that come into play, usually people just use unbreakable + soul guard in my face, so I can't really say for sure if flip flop + tenacity is more common than I think. Then again, I still don't see this perk combo often at all. I will start taking into account how often I see flip flop and tenacity, even though I can guarantee you that I will not see it at all for like 20 games. Who knows?

I know it is unlikely. I personally tend to use perks no one else does (from the dlcs I have, not the "common" ones). It's just a single touch, but it's fun because the killers normally don't expect anyone to use flip flop, so they don't even "stress" that much when going to a hook far away. I think it's fun hahahaha.

  • @Yords said:

    Please read first.

I have made a post about this before, but I feel that it is more relevant especially right now with moris being nerfed and I feel that this should definitely be implemented as it is not crazy big of a change.

The current yellow mori: Allows you to kill a survivor if they are the last one remaining in the trial regardless if they have been hooked or not.

This is not used often and most of the time, you probably aren't even going to get to use it if you do run it.

The could-be base kit mori: Allows you to kill the last remaining survivor in the trial only if all other survivors have been sacrificed. Grants you as many points as you would have gotten if they were hooked and sacrificed.

It makes sense with the lore of the game "You worked well, the last one is yours.", gives moris more of a use just in general gameplay, is not OP, and gives you the rest of the points you would have gotten sacrificing them.

What are your thoughts? Do you agree with me, or do you think something else could work? Just keep it professional.

    My sincere thought is no.

I've been running flip flop with tenacity. I've escaped like 2 times from the killer grasp when I was the last one alive, due to the famous slug for the 4k and got the hatch while running away.

It's not a regular thing, but I don't think you should have a power that denies my perks like that base-kit (I mean, flip flop for me usually just works for me in situations like that). As an offering, I think it is ok, because you consumed something for it, if it makes sense.

  • I think that if the skill is so different between survivors, then we have a matchmaking problem (that's not a surprise, actually). And it's really not fun at all. As killer, most matches I don't really have to "sweat" to get a 3k... and I play really bad. But then again, I never went above green ranks.

But I don't know, I don't care about killing that much too. I good game for me is one with lots of scare jumps or one that I can get one or other chase right.

As tunneling may be efficient, it's just not fun. And I hate it when it happens to me as survivor (yes, I also play real bad as survivor... maybe I'm often the weakest link).

  • I don't want it. Nothing really good comes from it. When I play on pc it's mostly people angry because they lost either a chase, an escape, a kill.

On console I don't have to deal with it. Right now I decided to play the game on steam just for the killer come at the end game chat and say how everybody was trash, despite of a rainbow rank survivor match?

It doesn't add anything. And the few times I say gg, nobody replies. So I'm better off without it.

  • I don't really like the name you use for them, but I usually perks that I think are fun, such as better together, open handed, bond, flip flop, tenacity, leader and soul guard.

But many games I regret not bringing ds, bt and unbreakable, because many killers like to tunnel and facecamp for no reason? But mostly i make my builds using the above perks with others I like.

I do not care about the LGB part of the LGBT. I do not agree with the T part, because it doesn't exist. You as a person exist, but there is no such thing as transgender.

I am not "transphobic". I am not afraid (by definition of the word) of trans people. I don't agree with the way they think.

Well, it's pointless for me to say anything else. Even the terminology you try to make it literal to prove a point isn't even there.

I'll just say it's not about "you", it's about someone else. So YOU may not see the need of it, but not everything in life is about me or about you. And there's no reason to not representate the variety life has just because somebody from outside thinks so.

Actually, it shouldn't even matter to you, but somehow it does.

Anyway, we both said enough. It's a game forum, and I'm not really expecting much from our "era" of gamers. Maybe the next ones if we make the right choices. Don't know. But we'll see (or maybe not).

    Thank you for reading.

  • I'm really ok as it is.

I mean, you can mori people, it's already a big deal. No chance for any kind of saves, so forget your perks and your items... you WILL die if you're down on the 3th hook.

It may no seem much, but I usually played moris like this already and, in my experience, the survivors do get scared when they know they have no chance of escaping death. You can even pretend to go for the third hook to see if someone comes to the rescue and if you drop the survivor you can still get the kill.

So in my opinion it's ok.

  • @Awakey said:

To make a follow-up to the hundreds of comments, rather than replying individualy:

My point is that "representation" really isn't important. What matters in a game is whether or not the gameplay is good. It wouldn't matter if the Survivors were blank character models, as long as they work.

I wouldn't care if every survivor was black, or white, or asian, or gay, or any trait someone can have. As long as they play well.

And to the people saying "there's no reason not to" it's definitely an extra headache on the lore/design team to mach a gay character, not have it be their token, make correct cosmetics, AND deal with people who REALLY didn't want it.

You're no worse off if you don't get it.

i was at first say that from the moment you say "but", you didn't really get why.

And about your follow up, here is where I disagree: representation is important. As many already have said, it may not seem important to you, probably because you already have characters that represent you in this and many other games (and i'll focus on the probably).

Anyway, I personally would love to see a transgender character in the game. It will be there simply stating the fact the these people exist. It may mean nothing to you, but to us it means the world just to be seem - acknowledging our existance -, not hidden as many people would like it to be (and as they like in real life too, pretending we don't exist or reducing our existance to a single extent), just as other kinds of affection lores are inside every game.

  • A win for me is to be able to outplay someone in a certain chase, or when they're trying to hide.

But I don't care for wins, I care for having fun.

Yesteryday I was challenged by a friend to play as nurse, so I used the most "baby nurse" outfit I had. Was against a group of flashlights and so I brought lightborn. They were taunting me and I was trying to hit my blinks (using the add on that helps see that). They tried to blind me, but they couldn't. And I pretended I was trying to avoid it.

It was super fun though all of them escaped hahaha

  • Hmmmm, I like playing by the morning and it's the other way around: I have to wait 10 minutes to get a killer match when I can get a survivor match in 30 seconds.

Killer is only faster by night, when I usually wanna play something else, if I do play.

  • Hmmmm it has an infinite cooldown if you don't camp.

  • @zoozoom6 said:

you mean like totems or disarming traps?

Nope. Something that saves its progress if you interrupt it and that have no potencial punishment for not doing it, since the totem does. And that grant points. If you cleanse 2 hex totens, you've already achived the cap.

Traps don't work because then the killer need to have traps.

Hahahahaha will that infinite hatches throwing Bubba be along with it?

Do you play DBD with a goal in mind? Did you change it since you started playing?

When i started DBD i wanted to reach Rank 1. After that i wanted a good build for survivor and on every killer. Then all perks for one survivor and all killer. Now im trying win streaks with killer.

I have fun with the game, but i like to see progress. I dont even like the grind, but im a completionist and it annoys me. So i would like to hear what you are doing and maybe i find something, before im dumb enough to start doing the trophies.

I play to do silly things?

Yesterday and I played swf with 2 friends and all of us equipped urban evasion and started evading through the map. The random that was matched with us also had urban evasion, so we made a line of urban evasion and laughed my life out of it.

Also yesterday I played with Dwight and at the start of the game I got on a locker to be in character hahaha just to see seconds later my teammate doing the same thing. So I went to her locker to call her out and my other friend was there too not understanding what was going on. Then Pig was also around and everybody ran screaming. That made my night hahahahaha.

The other day I was running flip flop with tenacity and my goal was to get some value out of it. But somehow the killers slugged everyone but me? That wasn't really fun hahahaha but there were 2 matches when I finally got to use it, so it was nice.

As killer I like to sneak up on people as Pig.

That's the fun in the game to me. I understand sometimes I have to take it more seriously and do my objectives as best as I can as survivor, in honor to the randoms that are with me (in no way I want to sandbag someone), but I hate to play "sweaty" games, even because I don't run any build to support that kind of gameplay.

  • I kind of... disagree?

I really do think it depends on your mindset. Despite I also think that no one wants to play a role that is hopeless, barely able to counter the other side, imo you don't have to be overpowering to have fun. Unless you're... a control freak?

I usually play Pig and let me tell you this: she isn't the best at chases and it's not that easy to use the ambush to play. Still, she is the most fun killer to me. It feels nice to land an attack when you use the ambush right and I think it's funny to sneak up on people.

I like using her stealth and this helps me get some good chases, but it's not something the survivors suffer to counter. I don't care if I get a 4k. If I can get some scares and hooks it's good enough because I have fun using her powers. I love the rbt because of the movies and also because it turns the game a little bit more forgiving to my bad choices. I can be sneaky and I can lunge from far away.

Sometimes I'll get survivors that are better than me (that's not hard to do) and sometimes I'll get those who aren't (and that's quite frequent? Not saying they're worse than me, just that on an average level, if a survivor is on the same level as I am as killer, it's easier for me as killer to down them than for them to escape or hold me for too long) and I like it like that. If one side of the game is always having the total upper hand, I don't think the game is balanced and it's not what it should be.

If it's miserable on the other side, I don't think it's fun.

For last, I love people saying some survivors are "brain dead", but forget the matchmaking of this game is atrocious. I started playing this game about 5 months ago. I play about once a week, sometimes more... and both as killer or survivor (usually survivor these times, because I wanna have fun with friends). And let me tell you: I don't know many of the maps layout. I'm still learning the tiles and how to play them as both sides. Sometimes I'm lucky to be next to a tile I have an idea of how to play, but sometimes I see myself in the middle of unknown grounds and I don't have a plan, so I can only take the chase so far. And even dying quite often, I still am locked at purple/red ranks.

On the other hand I get people on the other side who's already familiar with the maps and loops. So I don't think it's really fair on that sense. Both side have their learning curve.

Well. After saying so much I don't even know if it makes sense, but that's it.

  • I don't have perks for my killers and the matchmaking usually sucks, so... I'd rather not.

  • I've just been hard tunneled at 5 gens about 5 minutes ago. Killers are at their worst. Survivors are too. Nothing much to say. I don't even get mad anymore hahaha. But anyway, hope you're having a great thanksgiving.

  • Yes. It's interesting that even if the killer camps or tunnel, they still get points, but survivors barely get anything for doing objectives.

It seems that only unhooking and healing give anything at the end of the game. Even side stuff like chests or totems only give you so much points, such a small cap.

I hate that I need to play 5 games and escape to get what I can get in 1 or 2 games doing bad as killer.

And the 6s aura is fine in my opinion, becouse the killer has still to make a choice: go for the cleanser at the risk of losing pressure on gens.

Actually, no. If the killer pushes someone off a gen with ruin it will regress pretty fast and that can go on and for way too long. Specially if you're using it with tinkerer.

If it was a Trapper using it, it'd be fine. But it's Oni I see using it. It's forever Freddy, Nurse, Spirit. Killers that can easily go from one point of the map to the other and down people in their way. And you don't really have to choose that much, because depending on the spawn of the totems, you'll have 4 chances.

Basically, what I've been seeing is killers that already have good pressure making use of it and the ones who doesn't don't.

Hag with make ur choice and traps that u can teleport to is the most dumbest thing I have ever seen.

Everytime someone gets rescued from the hook the hag teleported back to the hook and hits the person performing the unhook.

And because make ur choice leaves u exposed, everyone kept getting downed.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. It literally felt like a waste of time. Like we were there just to give hag points.

Whats the counter to that? Can anyone asnwere me that? Or is this absolutly broken?

Am I suppose pray to the dbd gods and hope I find a flashlight in a chest? Am I suppose to leave my teammates on the hook or are we just all trading hooks?

I've faced one like this the other week. The thing is... you will have to trigger the trap and wait for either she teleport to it or the timer expires and she can't use it anymore and then do the save.

Besides that, the counter play is gen rush. That's how ridiculous it gets.

We got 3 escapes when against a hag like that doing that and I thank god I brought a purple box with brand new parts to rush the last gen, because the Hag burnt the Saloon to use her ruin/undying and we never even care looking for them.

  • Facecamping and heavy tunneling is also there.

Somedays I don't know what feels worse: playing killer or survivor.

  • Such a thirst for mori's. Geez

  • I love both Dwight and Min as survivor. They are my mains.

As killer, I love Pig and Plague. But haven't been playing Plague because her vomit doesn't register so often, I'm just frustrated over it.
