If it weren't for the terrible queue times, I'd have crossplay 100% turned off as survivor. I can't count how many urban evading survivors hiding in corners I've seen in just this morning's matches. Then a 95% heal and doesn't commit with the killer coming back. You are killing us more than the killers!
I play more on console than PC and have to say that urban evasion can be used for looping, so it can be fun to play with (although I don't run it in solo q). And as far as I've been playing crossplay, PC players have been camping and tunneling as much as people from console... besides being disrespectul at the post chat (that I don't see, but my friend in the PC does).
But, anyway, whichever is the platform, I hate playing with randoms because I normally get teamed up with a second killer. This weekend I got at least 5 people DCing, besides AFK, killing themselves on the first hook. It's sad.

I'm also supporting some fix for the latency problem. I use it to get some distance, but sometimes you're just in the middle of a dead zone and if the perk worked as it is descripted, I could make the killer hit the miss and get to somewhere to loop instead of just dying 2 meters ahead of what I would without the perk.
There are even challenges in the archive requiring you to avoid a hit by using dead hard, so no one can convince me it wasn't meant to be used like this.

Lately I've been feeling like whenever I play with randoms I get at least 2 killers in the game. People don't heal me, don't let me heal them, don't do gens, brings killers to those doing gens or just wanna farm your hook for points.

I do not see the need to "solve this", honestly. Playing against a face camping bubba is rare in my experience. Even more rare should be players playing like this ALL THE TIME, just because it is super boring to do so game after game. It may be funny for some rounds, but I assure you there won't be many players doing this in every match. So it's more or less a non-issue, currently.
I honestly wanted it to be like that, but maybe it was my bad luck that I got 3 facecamping bubba's in a single saturday. What's wrong with people these days? hahaha

I don't think you should wait for survivors to give you a chance to use blood warden. When I run it, I usually open the gate myself. And it works the best if you can keep the chase to a point the ECG is at its end when you down the survivor.
Even if the gates regress, the survivors will find ways to counter it, be sure of it. The point of ECG is just to end the game already. But the real pressure is yours to apply. Besides, what's so bad the the last survivor escaped? If you got a 3k, you won already.
Well, that's what I think.

I love how you feel entitled to speak for "most killers" when it's a wish of your own. But anyway, you ask me what I prefer? I prefer having fun, either solo or with friends.
As mentioned above, you're not entitled to 4k or even the hatch. Just look for it and find it with the time you have. If you lost it, then that's it.
If you wanna slug as killer, that's on you. As a killer, I don't think this is fun, so I avoid it. If people wanna kill themselves on the hook, so be it. I'd rather end things quickly then proceed to the next match.
Even though you say the 4k is not important to you, you seem to demand it as if you had the right to it. It's just a game, for god's sake.
Some you will kill, some will go.
So... just slug as you please, just don't expect any validation or look for excuses for it.

I couldn't care less for a post chat.
Normally I just get salty people on one end or the other, so I just skip it. That's one of the reasons I like playing on console more than on pc.
But if there's an option to disable that box, then I'm fine. On the other hand, a lobby chat can be useful to trade info about the perks we're using as survivors.
