Mostly excited for the end game changes; but not so much for legion. I understand people where exploiting him, but to nerf him to the ground was not the way to go? Now because of it; he might be even worse then Freddy after this PTB
I would have rather seen a rework of the exploit, rather then nerfing his power to the point where it's completely unusable; he's just another m1 killer after all this...
i'm a little "concerned" with this as well. I believe we have to test it out first to get a good view on his changes, but as far as i see it Legion is now a lot less annoying to deal with as a survivor. For playing Legion i agree he's gonna be different and probably just a downgraded M1 killer with a free initial hit with his power
-
the infamous T pose is scary AF i've seen it once on the killer chasing someone.

I want the Nea outfit.
that makes two of us. :)

At least i can see Legion coming from miles now xD
-
I really like the Nea ~= Neon outfit.
Also Jane is very nice and colourful (paint?)

@Jimsalabim It's not hacking, all you have to do is open up the game files for the PTB when it comes out, then render the outfit files.
alright i see. i always wondered how they get this information
-
how do dataminers get this information anyway? is that some sort of hacking or?
-
and the c osmetics are not even ingame yet?
-
why do they wait so long for the surprise to drop it's almost 8 PM here
-
maybe it's a hidden easter egg in every round. first survivor to find it: double BP for the next 5 matches
-
around what time can we expect this surprise?
-
it's not every game, but it's happening more than usual, because.. you can. every single reason or set back it ok for killer or survivor to just give up. Let's not only focus survivors here, i've had plenty of killers dc during the match too.
-
It's hard to remember sometimes how things were back then when the game was in its first year of release. We people adapt constantly to changes and therefore it seems so strange to look back and think: is that how we did things back then? and until then we realise this game has made significant changes that helped making the game more balanced and esp. on the killer side more fun.
-
low settings helps with vision because of brighter picture and brighter scratch marks
-
it would be extremely silly if a killer could open the doors whenever he wants. It would be abused too i'm sure, if a killer is salty he just opens it to force everyone out. This would be the end of DBD.
-
maybe we get some cosmetics that has some reference to Easter?

Good point. Also survivors beeing able to possibly get the hatch despite having done 0 gens will in some rare cases make piping in the red ranks even harder when you completly destroy them. Currently you already dont pip if you just down all 4 people and kill them on their first hook (which is bad since you get punished for totally destroying the opponents) now the gab increases when sometimes a person gets a hatch that couldnt have gotten it before since before it wouldnt have spawned yet.
yes it's flawed, and this whole emblem system is just there to be sure the match last long enough for every to do 'stuff' and therefore get a feeling it was a fun game, and getting destroyed almost immidiately isnt fun and it shows in the emblems too so you are punished for it. Logic? not much

The surprise is gonna be dedicated servers. Wanna bet?
oh yeah that's possible they mentioned it would be coming earlier to test out
-
the only thing they do is implement bandwagon fixes thru perks to buff solo players (but not nearly enough) to get them a bit closer to a swf combo with all the extra information they have. but that's probably another issie discussed in one of the many exiciting discussion posts
-
I quote a recent post of Not_queen:
"ON FORUMS / SOCIAL MEDIA
April 22nd, 2019
S U R P R I S E !"
there will be something coming

Just a little extra why not let the killer see the aura of the hatch. Just to make it a bit more balanced.
you call that fair? killers already are faster and don't need to hide to run around looking for the hatch
-
Is the killer able to see the time remaining on each survivor that entered the End Game?

Yes oops lol I can see how that got mixed up. Just added to HUD 😃
i agree that they should implement this information to solo players too because swf have so much info to share including how many dull totems they each done. If they want to make the game more fair they should implement this

ok so around 32 seconds into the match i see with 4 gens left and four survivors alive that the end game is triggered killer opened the door. so now seems new killer meta will be bloodwarden rancor noed and haunted ground. down some one open the gate hang them.
if there are only 1 or none gens done when you're the only one left then there is still no hatch spawning or did they change it now with the new collapse?
-
imagine a nurse (or even billy or spirit) closing the hatch and then just easy blink the exit gates. no chance for a surivor.
-
if there are no gens done then there is no hatch to spawn when all but 1 survivor is left. Correct me if i'm wrong here

If you're referring to Patrica's comment, it should be tomorrow for the forum one.
The Q&A stream will be next week. I hope this helped. :)
thanks, that'll do :)
-
maybe we need to find easter eggs as an objective instead of repairing gens. when we collected all eggs we can open the gates where a bunny is waiting for us to teabag at the exit
-
this change is better for survivors; but this whole frenzy hitting, mending thing is just annoying and it will still be annoying cause that part doesnt change. it's just a stupid killer gameplay wise to play against.
-
I would think this change does not only (or maybe doesn't completely) involve the hatch (stand-off). We might be looking into something extra (or maybe completely different) than opening doors.
-
can you imagine the amount of extra (special) bugs we get with more complicated maps with interaction? Pls just for that reason alone i say just no. In theory ofc itwould be awsome but not with this team
-
It's strange it keeps resetting to my highest rank after i deranked a few ranks ??? can someone elaborate

Honestly I couldnt tell you. I ran it for like a week and had one or two misses, but most just stunned regardless of if they walked past or not. It seems that you have to "hit" them AFTER the exit animation. It not the doors that stun, it's you moving after. So maybe try to jump sooner?
I never really had problems with it other than the time like I said it just gave up and I hopped out in front of an EW3 Meyers at the exit...
i saw a youtube video about this perk and it said it activated on SPACE hit. So before the animation. But maybe i can try your approach and see if i can hit it earlier.
-
@Carpemortum said:
It usually works for me, unless I've been in the locker too long and it straight up deactivates and the icon greys out.
any tips how to time it then? it's not working properly whenever he is in front of it, it's 9/10 just NOT working; sometimes it works when he's passed it (like way out of range)
-
so no one is frustrated with how this perk works? ok then
-
so what if there was a way to find a new survivor who is waiting for a match to join that match; he would substitute the dc'er in the ongoing match.
-
@Boss said:
Idk what you mean with full circle.
NOED existed since the beginning, so him wanting to remove it can't be it...
ofc it can mean just that. he is just ONE person in the dev team so he can certainly have this opinion about a perk.

I'm not an expert in English language (third language I learned) but for me it's seems like he was talking with his chat like
"guys, my noed will get destroyed. But we don't need it anyway right now"
it's possible that your interpretation is the right one. it's just my feeling about this.
-

I thought he said it specific to his match tho
the intonation is clearly indicating he means he wants the perk out of the game
-
he said we don't need NOED anymore. so another perk removed/adjusted?

Maybe if their matchmaking and ranking system worked together we could have games that queued quickly and have players of the same rank.
well that is true but i'm glad they fixed the waiting time for now.
-
that picture is before the graphic update right?
-
i simple yes i have this too or no i dont have this would be nice
-
you're not gonna get an answer here on the forum.
-
Same problem here. i wonder if others have this too.
frozen screen after lobby when that bar is filling, just stuck and screen is frozen. cant do anything
-
let's not forget the frozen loading screen when loading in a match. the times i had to close dbd through task manager because of this has been too frequent after the graphics update. I think this is a major problem too.
-
and it happened again after 4 lobbys. wow. anyone else have this serious problem??
-
What i have also noticed is that rendering of background items or building. like it's not smooth but still rendering when you're running around. This was not the case before the graphic update. Did anyone notice this too?
-
another solution is to put the graphics settings to "low" in the menu. It become a lot brighter. check it out.
-
2 min waiting to even get into a lobby for survivors... yeeyyy. nice system
