So I'm really starting to like the bing bong boi but he's incredibly difficult at rank 1 for me and so, I wanted to ask for some tips and overall some explanations for some of my questions
So let's say wraith is cloaked and is chasing a survivor, for whatever reason he or she drops the pallet and I get the "lightburn" stun effect which is super long.
Does enduring negate that? Would running perks such as enduring spirit fury be good on wraith?
When do I know to drop a chase? I feel like I drop chases when I could be getting downs and or just the other way around of taking too long and getting gen rushed. I am rank 1 but not really sure if it matters. Thanks!
Hello, Spine chill, your first enemy.
I don't know if Billy's perk is effective, for his camouflage and the flashlights, but what I do know is that it's difficult play with him !
-
I agree that there really are killers *** in the world, but the survivors usually do it more than them!
Just yesterday, one survivor (Claudette) blocked the way for another survivor, so I hit him (Ace), I took Ace down. Claudette looks at me and hits me and Ace . I grab Ace and chase after Claudette. I catch Claudette, I hook her, then I catch Ace and I put him down but I don't hook him, I pick him up . End of the game Claudette will escape, I find Ace with Claudette at the TBAG exit door .
I felt sorry for Ace and finally I find myself stupid, between a team that made a lot of fun of me! I left !😀
I never tbag for nothing, i tbag with the killer.

Hi devs, I know I am probably not the only one that has thought about this but, with the new cross play system I would love to have a end game/ pre game lobby chat for consoles. Because when I do happen to run into a player from another realm I would love to meet and say a gg. I understand that some others might use it as a tool for destruction and toxic behavior. But right now I know there's a way to hide the chat if wanted. I feel very lonely at the end game when I can only speak with my own console comrades. I have seen memes and streamers just post in their respective chat that can't have a response back and it's unfortunate.
I do know that other games that have cross play do have this feature(yes I understand dbd is not everyone else). However, it shows that it IS possible to bring it forward. I am not making a strong petition to do this but just as a recommendation from a very happy console player (almost 4000 hrs of gameplay) .
I believe that you all can make things better and you can trust that with either decision you make, I will not be bias and I look forward to the future.
Thank you

No thank you, i dont want talk with the people tbag me, or punch me to infinit ! Keep our distance for joy and good mood 🤗

While I can't be 100% without seeing what you're doing wrong I can almost be sure that you're playing killer in the same braindead way that most people play survivor which is just "stumbling" into things without thought and acting like little more than an AI bot. Playing killer in this game is more frustrating because you have to learn to multitask a few things in your head to be effective - the limitations of the killer vs survivor matchups are definitely there... just overstated by most of this community who can't play.
When a survivor clicks me, I look for the weakest (there are none).
When I chase a survivor they don't use pucks anymore but windows... it gives an infinite loop ! How to stop an infinite loop, maybe you can give me some advice ? Redbull ?
When I approach a generator they communicate, they all have a microphone, how do you want to approach and find a survivor if they leave 5 minutes before I arrive (I say 5 minutes because of the size of the maps)... You can talk, you can't be in two places at the same time... if you don't catch them before the second generator, you will be caught between 4 survivors and a last generator to protect... I repeat I'm not in two different places, I can't go on chase and prevent 3 scattered survivors from finishing 3 generators !
When I put down a survivor ... flashlight, bodyblock. If I hang the survivor, there will be DS, then REloop, there will also be all the generators finished! I can put the pressure it's me who has it, not them!
Can you making a video for me..?😀
-
Loop-loop-loop, window, window, window...
No need nerf Spirit !🤗

@Eleghost said:
If you've played survivor you know what killers will deal with. Idk why this is news to you.
I was rank 4 with the survivors (I think)... I know that when survivors are united they can be invincible using skills like DS....
While the killer is busy with "troll the looper", the others will make the generators. If I let go of the looper I'm sure I won't find the others, and if I find them they know how to looper... that's what I've learned as a survivor.
Whatever I do if they all know loop...🤣

If you are playing "competitively" this build doesn't really help The Blight. I would probably only keep Spirit Fury as it gives you options in chase. The Blight's power focuses on getting places fast and chases. I would recommend putting on Save the Best for Last. You are going to be hitting a lot of people as Blight. This will help in the chase for sure.
Other perks that will probably work well on him.
Make your Choice: If you want quick downs this will be a good perk on him. You can get far away for people to take off the hook and then use your power to get back fast.
Devour Hope: Like Make your Choice, you can get away from the hook fast and come back for the kill.
Pop Goes the Weasel: This killer will excel on get downs fast. That means you will have more opportunity to use PGTW.
Surveillance: Can travel fast to get back to Gens being touched.
Discordance: Can travel fast to get back to gens and disrupt multiple survivors.
Infectious Fright: Can proceed to snowball and down multiple survivors quickly. Especially if you are using STBFL
Tinkerer: You get information and are also undetectable. Can move fast to get back to the Gen and surprise the survivors.
I'm all Ears: Will significantly help in chase to know how to position yourself.
Surge: Again, will help with decreasing Gens.
Nooo, the new killer not interest me lol, but the perk of Blight for block pallets yes ! 😀
-
Maybe delete the spirit and billy perk for anti gen? 50/50

I think Ghostface is fine as is and some of the ‘bugged’ claims may be just not knowing the details of his ability. Just because GF is spotted doesn’t mean he can be revealed. Also he has addons that reduce survivors ability to break him out at a distance.
The adjustment I would recommend is reducing his base cooldown from thirty seconds and nerfing the charge add ons. It’s not great that GFs feel they have to bring Chewed Pen.
Addons.. the drugs of DBD !🤗

It's small... like almost facecamping small
Also I think Myers TR in T1 is 6m... Going off of the in game TR (which is basically undetectable... also why he has it in T1)
So it can have a very small terror radius, it can one shoot the toxic survivors, camp, track, and despite its large size and Spine chill be discreet... It's a good killer🤔

Yes, but I prefer not to use addons at the moment because I don't have many of them.🤗

id love to be able to go back and play old Freddy.
Before I had the 4 survivors more than 20 games in a row with him. Today I don't win any games... either because I regressed or because of the crossplay...
Ps: Loops are my main weakness !

Freddy is normally invisible in the real world... I don't understand why the killers in DBD don't respect the source...

When survivors try to break him out of stealth, its incredibly bugged because of how it registers with dedicated servers. You could be perfectly stalking a survivor and get nothing for it, and survivors can be trying to break you out and have the progress reset because a piece of your clothes was behind a tree for a split second.
So there's no point in playing it...
I'll try Pig... a similar info on Pig?😀

@Ryuhi said:
you know that his break out is still bugged and wildly inconsistent, right? if you just weave anywhere near an obstacle, it keeps resetting because reasons.
You can be having a staring contest with him at point blank and it won't even work half the time.

-
I've been trapped more than 10 times in this thing, I'd like to see them banish me for a bug they can't remove!
In game you have no choice, you're in a second state, you fall into it by chance and that's worse than being camped!

I played it, I changed it right away. I can't do it, they don't give a damn about the infection.🤣

She's ok I guess, but definitely one of the weaker killers if she's against survivors with common sense.
She completely dominates survivors who cleanse needlessly the second they get infected but struggles against good loopers who refuse to cleanse until the end game
A bit risky for the survivor... So she makes a killer capable of putting pressure on them.
I wonder how long the infection lasts on the objects, and how long addons are added?
-
I wonder how long the infection lasts on the objects, and how long addons are added?
-
Against teams that know how to play, it has no chance between DS, etc..
Loops.. Maybe she can win the loops, but they will finish the generators on the second hunt no matter what.
If you win it's a big mistake, nothing more.😀
-
The people who are saying these sentences are not playing against red rank survivors. The Youtubers they made 10 games before winning the ones they show you, because again against high rank no killer wins (1 kill maximum at the end of the game). It's all about mistakes, if they don't make them you will...
They study you, when they know that you start at the quarter turn they bombard you with things that make you lose patience (tbag, etc)...
A Nurse is frustrating at the base, if in addition they frustrate you it is logical that the definition "good nurse" is nonsense !
The only addon able to destroy a team is the Plaid, because there is no mistake, it's pure precision !
-
@DontNerf said:
For a long while now many of us have wanted some tweaks to the flowery death monster however its seems to have fallen on deaf ears as there's been no mention of any form of tweaks to this sadly very underwhelming killer.
The main thing he needs is an addon rework as this killer is sadly addon dependent but his addons are about as useful as a david with no mither and self care.
I do hope BHVR tweak this killer as he is currently design whise the most unique killer in the game and its a shame you never see him. So my question is, Devs have you forgotten demogorgon or do you have other pressing matters to attend to? If so will he ever be buffed or will he remain a rarity in this realm of The Entity?
Thank for reading.
TLDR: plz boof Demobegorgondorgon
This killer was my favorite (with the Nurse), but until I met the red ranks...
His portals are useless, they are quickly destroyed against a team, that pushes Gorgon to make new ones every 5 minutes... who wants to play with that ? The trap limit being the most annoying, the time the survivors take to destroy them is awful, and the fact that I have to open my mouth to see who is in my portals... it's ULTRA annoying !
Its secondary attack is slow to charge, but quite useful against loops.
In short, one more regret to my collection of regrets from the game!😀

All killers are frustrating to play. Pallets, windows, pallets and windows... Nerve killer, nerve killer, nerve killer = no interest, or if you want to be angry..
I don't know if I'm going to stay on DBD, because I'm 100% sure the red rank doesn't care about the killer, they know how to play, if they want to get out they'll get out whether you're good or not, if you win it's because a survivor made a mistake, if you lose it's because they know how to make you go around in circles, loopS !
They talk about Spirit nerve?? I don't understand, because there is nothing supreme about it?
They talk about nerve Freddy ?? Uh oky, what are we going to change? His teleportation ? Its traps ? They are already useless without addon...
Why don't we change the speed of all killers, 3.8 like the nurse...?!
All killers need rework (buffs), all !

I main Wraith and love to use him. I run sloppy, thanatophobia, thrilling tremors, and bbq/chili. I'll switch out thrilling tremors with other perks at times, but that's what I run most of the time.
I will try with this perks
I think with the new killer perk.. more easy for counter loop😀

@White_Owl said:
I consider myself a Wraith main. There are a couple tricks you can use to be more deadly with him:
- His uncloaking lasts 3 seconds, but for the first 1.5 s he doesn't ring his bell. By starting the uncloaking behind a wall you halve the survivors' time to react. Just keep LoS on the survivor on the second half (to avoid losing them) and you'll get easy first hits. By using this trick the clappers addons will be redundant.
- Don't forget about your power after the first hit. Cloaking during chases allows you to catch up more quickly, take survivors by an unexpected angle, or drop the chase without them even realizing. Don't just play like an M1 killer, be unpredictable.
- Use Windstorm. Even the yellow one makes a ton of difference, you will have a lot more map pressure and you can catch up to survivors much faster. Another addon which I found surprisingly good is Shadowdance: by pretending to uncloak in front of a pallet you'll induce survivors to drop it, so you can destroy it very quickly. It's useful even with windows, especially if you have Bamboozle.
- If you have the feeling someone is using Spine Chill, look sideways while approaching a generator or in general a place where you think survivors are. With their Spine Chill off you're guaranteed to make them ######### their pants.
"If you have the feeling someone is using Spine Chill, look sideways while approaching a generator or in general a place where you think survivors are. With their Spine Chill off you're guaranteed to make them [BAD WORD] their pants."
Moonwalk = Wall wall wall, or if the map are open they can see you...

So to give a quick run down, the red rank wanted to talk sht after escaping, a sore winner as i like to call them. I'm not even a killer main, i mostly play survivor but i wanted to learn killer so i tried spirit.
so i get 2 kills not bad but this Karen called me a proxxy camper and told me how she wanted to pull her cord, too bad i didn't make her pull her life support 🥰.
First of all when endgame arrives, anything goes, and that is coming from a survivor main, the dirty tactics come out for the desperate fight to win the trial. Secondly, if the hooked person is in between 2 exit gates, dont automatically assume the killer is being a punk and face camping if they are in the vicinity, like they're obviously trying to prevent the opening of the gates, idiot.
Recently as survivor too i've seen people behave like complete a-holes and teabag for no reason. This red rank right here fell for so many fake phases, and never looked behind her in chase, she got out because of luck.
if you behave like this in any game, you ARE a disgusting person. people who talk down to other people and try to make them feel bad for being inexperienced, give me the feeling that they probably tell people to kill themselves.
It's not that hard to just play the game say gg and move on 🙄
I understand you and that's why I've also become disgusting in this game. Ohhh, sometimes I'm the same person as in real life, sensitive with heart... if I put down a tbag it's possible that sometimes I feel sorry for myself, I let the person go but thinking that he or she is not worthy...
With all the nerve killers, they know perfectly well that an inexperienced killer will never be able to get them (I'm thinking of the Nurse and his last Nerf). I tried all the killers but I never have time to chase the second survivor since the game is over... The Trapper in the basement is very dangerous, but still it is necessary to have them, and I don't like to cross the whole map for a trap ! The Hag is the only killer that makes me want to continue, and that prevents loops and speed gen, and makes the survivors think (paranoiac).
Try the Hag, even without the many good perks it can become ultra dangerous (but it must be mastered).

It’s not useless. BBQ on Hag requires a different play style.
Instead of just trapping the hook, you scan, then you trap the hook.
If everyone is in BBQ reading range you trap the path they’ll most likely take to the hook.
It assists with precise trapping using almost real time information.
An experienced team will always counter BBQ's with lockers.
If this happens you will be with a perk useful only for GPs...
With a red rank team I have never been able to scan anyone... either they are all around me or the lockers.
I change BBQ for the Legion perks, or i keep BBQ and i take the Legion perk for the lockers, for be sure.

As a towering monstrous figure able to hoist survivors over your shoulder with ease i find it enraging that a survivor can fearlessly block me to secure a full escape; I don't see how survivors have the gull to complain about NOED when it's literally an endgame perk that prevents this from happening.
The perk of Legion, against this team you win.😀

No worries. I was looking at my post trying to figure out what you were talking about. XD
I used to agree with that, but honestly it’s like saying stealth killers are useless if you bring Spine Chill or it’s an auto win against Hag if you bring a flashlight.
Yeah, Spirit would require different tactics but she wouldn’t be useless.
N P 🤣
The Hag is invincible with the right perks.
The spirit... even with the best perks it sucks. Why does it suck? Its power is Wraith and Nurse combined, slow and intuitive, it's not precise (like the nurse). Sometimes Stridor bug, bug noises, it's very hard during the teleportation phase because you never know who are the survivors ... She is OP with her addons but without her addons she doesn't hold a red rank team !
Her power doesn't last long, but she is fast. If you take away her speed (or nerve) she is slow and her power doesn't last long... she becomes worse than Nurse in terms of gameplay, not impossible but frustrating, very frustrating... who will want to play her?
-
There is no way to get around its traps (with the right perks and the right strategy), sauf Urban evasion.
I can assure you that tight teams, like loops, DS, red rank, and others are no longer a problem for me, since I discovered how to play with it! But it also requires patience and good timing!
There are some perks that make it very strong, but without the strategy it's a bit like having a gun and not knowing how it works.
-
With the Hag this map is completely ultra OP. No need to go up, the traps do it for us.🤣
-
Limit the number of uses per survivor... or put seconds between each use...
-
Useless sorry🤣

@thelittlemonsters said:
Just switch her phasing sound around so it lets people in her terror radius know she’s phasing. She literally doesn’t need anything else. That’s it.
She can still come out of nowhere and scare the ######### out of people, even getting a grab or free hit.
In the middle of a chase you know to go from looking behind you to trying to out predict what she’s doing.
Sure, she can’t stand at the other side of a pallet or window to trick you, but she can literally just undo her invisibility and pull off the Nurse bait blink trick to get people to vault into her. The difference is she has to work for it
Survivors still have to play like they’re Nurse and Spirit still has the advantage of having more information than the survivor.
She is unless.. 🤣
-
More than 10 games with cross play I never had that (I never have frezze on DBD, since today). It's when I started to be interested in challenges that I frezze (2 times) . I tested some games without looking in the challenge menu and strangely the game works. I tested by manipulating the challenge menu before starting a game and bam, it crashes at the same time as soon as the camera stops rolling on my character.... It's the game
Crash survivor only, for me.. maybe the host?
-
You can't get around its traps...
If the witch has the right advantages she won't give you the luxury of having a flashlight in your hand... If I come across you with a flashlight, you probably won't go looking for it without constraint.
The advantages of the doctor (sorry I don't know the English name) Bubba, Billy = anti flashlight, anti equipment too
You'll probably need a lot of flashlights with this killer, and it's not unlimited... Break my trap ? Yes but i can see it if i look..
The only way to avoid her traps when she has the right advantages is to crouch (with Urban escape it's good), but there's a risk that she'll come back to the neighborhood. Imagine the time you waste looking for your flashlight (if you find it). If you knew how many united teams I've sacrificed because of flashlights... it's even the only way I've found to win against them.
With this kind of team you have to make it look like the flashlights are going to do something, when in fact they're just bait, a hope...
-
@ToxicMyers said:
Why? I seen so many scenarios where the myers isn't carrying anyone yet they are body blocking for a teammate. Even though there's a high probability that he has tier 3 ready. So I ask why tf would you body block against a myers that isn't carrying anyone
Annoying, but it is also very dangerous ! With Myers, crazy people, never on my team ! 🤣
-
There are several ways to play the Hag...
Rely on a group of full flash and DS survivors. Or rely on perks such as Doctor (for overload), Billy, Pig, Legion (for bodyblock)... the Hag becomes invincible.
The traps become a part of you, because playing without traps for a Hag . Accessories can also be deadly and make loops more deadly, like the trap and its duration... I admit that there are pros of the palette, I don't deny it, there are very gifted survivors. That's when the accessories become very boring for them !🤣
-
@OldHunterLight said:
I wouldn't use that perk but again, I use perks that serve no purpose to certain killers like bbq on trapper, or bbq on hag, I like double bp lol.
But lightborn maybe can be useful now, I'm not sure I haven't used it since the recent buff.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1580864#Comment_1580864
I confirm that the BBQ is useless against experienced players, and you know why ? For example, as soon as a survivor is about to be hung, I find the nearest locker!
But you're right the BP is really huge BBQ. Combine with the hunter's perk (Predation, I think) it's intersting.😀
For Billy's perk I played with it for 3 days, and I was able to avoid a lot of flash... Survivors' heads when they persist in flashing me, but they can't... I wonder if it's noted when I have this perk?

It's also the animation, she looks at the ground and she is short but you can flash a hag when she is picking up a survivor.
With a power flash+..
So Billy's perk remains important. Aura reading is also a good punishment. 😀

If you mean when breaking a pallet? It's because of her animation, she can be blinded but it's hard to do it, just like spirit.
So it's hard to flash when it breaks a palette?
If that's it, I wasn't talking about a palette, I was talking about picking up a survivor, that's when they use their flash and that's when it's very annoying...🤔

Flash lights counter her traps, not her herself, so light born doesn't do much. You can't rely on the basement unless running iron grip and agitation, which both require a perk slot.
Please explain? She doesn't take flashes, natural immune ?

She's sleeper broken when played with enough experience, people just rather put the time on Nurse because apparently having fun is overrated.
( But don't tell them, they are all still drooling over spirit )
The nurse was perfect, before the nerve... she was fun, even if personally I missed 90% of her teleports!
The spirit? I find it really slow, no counter loop I don't understand how people can ask for a nerve..🤔
@SCP_FOR_DBD said:
I'm not sure, she can get hard countered with SWF and Flash Lights, which are very common. I think the best killer is either Spirit or Freddy cause they both have great chase potential, map traversal, and map control.
With Billy's perk (flashlight) and Franklin, this kind of team often ends up in the basement, they all rely on the flashlight, that's why I got into the habit of trapping the lamps on the ground.😀
I don't understand why they insist on saving their friend (perk Justice of Pig + 10 traps of the hook, even crouching they have to get up and start running... I one shoot both of them).
-
He's fun, of course, but the many loops have disgusted me with the character I can't get anywhere with him.😕
I definitely chose the Hag.
