Hell yeah! Unfortunately I'll be working all day tomorrow, but I'll definitely be putting some hours into Village this weekend.
-
A mori skips a picking up and hooking animation after the killer has earned two hook states from that survivor: they're dead either way. Keys skip x amount of gens, gate opening, endgame collapse, and who even knows how many more chases. I'm never upset that they escaped, I'm upset that I didn't get to finish out a full match
-
Nah dude, this is definitely bait..
-
It'd be cool if they showed the survivor running from the killer or something. Maybe being Mori'd
-
Is there more to the story, or..?
-
Yeah I've been getting stunned from pretty far away too. Gotta walk forward before I can even break the pallet after the stun... Doesn't seem right

Why do you have to make the title all caps?
Because ANGRY
-
Happens to me sometimes too. I'll run through a pallet trying to drop it but I'm the only thing that drops π
-
I hope to God that David comes onto the forums and sees this π

Pulled this one last night. Felt wonderful lol

RE8 is the only game I've ever pre-ordered. Started with RE7 and fell in love with the series since then. I'm beyond excited for it!
-
Only played on Rotten Fields so far but I liked it, even playing as ghostface. Coldwind has always been my favorite realm so I'll definitely miss the old versions but I like the updated look just as well. I do wish the entire map had more gruesome elements to it like blood splatter on walls or something. I feel like small details like that would add a lot to the map if they're gonna have it be as bright as it is
-
He has to be the loudest. I had him on a basement hook in shack once and thought there was another Jeff nearby because I could hear his grunts pretty far from the shack. Then I remembered there wasn't even another Jeff in the match π
-
I'll agree he feels like just a filler but nerfs? No, he's already weak

The biggest moment of fear I have felt in this game was when I was playing on Gideon working on a gen on the lower level, and I turned to see a Myers staring at me from literally two feet away. He could have grabbed me any time he felt like it, but instead chose to just stalk me.
Man I love Mikey
-
I'd be curious to see how well it'd work (or if it straight up wouldn't work) to have the killer place their totem and be able to pick it up and move it throughout the match. The catch there is that it'll deactivate and lose stacks over time (if it's based on stacks) while the killer is carrying it.
I feel it'd be a bit of a pain to go out of your way to hide a totem, but might be a fair trade if it means it'll last more than a minute. Or, this could just be an absolutely awful idea, I really don't know lol
-
People like representation and being able to relate to characters. I'm a straight white guy so I really don't have a hard time finding similar characters in pretty much any sort of media lol. But I'm also big into all sorts of rock and metal music which isn't always easy to find representation of; therefore I can relate to Jeff very well for example. I'm heavily Norwegian and into metal just like him.
Personally I want things that keep the community happy as long as it's healthy or just doesn't negatively affect the game and I think this is one of those things.
-
This is all that's keeping me from trying killers like Freddy or Spirit. I mean, it's hard enough to even play a legit match as Pig without people trying to boop every single match π€¦ββοΈ like please run away and let me chase you lol
-
Agitation and Sloppy Butcher have been very useful for me. When they all want to swarm me after picking someone up I can usually get another hit before I hook the one I'm carrying and it'll take longer for them to heal. Otherwise I just play to the best of my ability and hope it's enough to put some pressure on them. It's tough and I still get stomped often enough but when I'm able to hang with them, those might be the most fun matches I play as killer. If nothing else, it's a learning experience and I might be able to carry some new tricks into the next match.
-
It's beautiful
-
Lots of fun to play as and against in my opinion. Reveal mechanic could use some work as most have said, but I donβt have anything bad to say about him

Ty bro , but i dont need play in red ranks (look matchmaking) , i am on my green and i like face green survivors as well. Thats seem ok no?
Absolutely, play how you wanna play. I used to have the same mindset but found it a lot more fun when I got better at the game myself. Now I'm performing better against red ranks than I was against green ranks and having more fun doing it. I'd encourage you to at least try, but it's all up to you
-
I enjoy solo. If I can make myself the obsession (usually use For The People) then my team should know when I'm taking the chase and ideally would work on gens. Of course that's not always how it works out, but that's okay. Kindred is a great perk so you or your teammates know when it's safe to unhook or figure out what the rest of the team is doing.
I really don't expect to win most matches and that's what makes it rewarding when I do escape. It's fun to go in and just play the best match I can with the teammates I'm given. I still find it less stressful than killer
-
I understand it can be frustrating, but SWF is manageable to face if you give yourself a chance to improve. Suffer through those matches until you start learning how to beat good survivors and you'll likely enjoy more matches more often without feeling like you're even playing very hard. You'll never get to that point by just giving up
-
Stop taking it easy on people if them standing in the gates makes you mad. Feels like bait though lol
-
Realistically I'd be down to hang out with any of them, but I feel like me and Jeff would bond over music
-
Yeah, I've always enjoyed solo as well. It's more challenging, sure - but still less stressful than killer in my opinion. I don't mind losing (I usually expect to) as long as the match was fun. I feel more like I beat the odds when I escape in solo, and that's what makes it rewarding to me
-
Survivor:
-Kindred (~90% solo)
-Dead Hard
-For The People
-Resilience
Killer; depends who I play, but it's been a lot of Pig lately, so:
-Whispers
-Surge or Pop Goes The Weasel
-Surveillance
-BBQ, Agitation, or Ruin
Both builds get mixed around pretty often, but yeah
-
I think it's more balanced now than it ever has been before (minus certain bugs, but obviously those aren't intentional). Between map variation, different killer powers, perk combos on both sides, I don't know that you can call the game as a whole killer or survivor sided. There are just too many variables in my opinion. I think we all just need to play the cards you're dealt and have fun with it if we can.
-
Nah, I've had mostly good memories with the game. Of course it's always been in a rocky place but when I think about the most fun matches I've played, I almost entirely forget about any bad ones. There's just nothing quite like it.
-
Such a good perk. People will complain about BBQ for some odd reason; meanwhile, I'm getting all my info from Whispers and forgot I'm even running BBQ...
-
Just buff flashlights with a glock!
Kidding, but it'd actually be kinda fun to use a gun if it's not game breaking. Kinda like they had in ft13
-
Had a TTV try to dead hard through me earlier and dc just like you said when he got downed. Had to check out his stream to see why he dc'd and apparently I only waited out his DH because I had to have been stream sniping... Any reason to shift the blame lol
-
That's the type of build that'll piss off your team more than your killer lol
-
Agreed. I've seen so many boosted-beyond-belief survivors lately. I'll see Nea hiding halfway behind a barrel, turn it into a 20 second chase and think "damn, another yellow rank..." Take it a little easier on them after that, then turns out they're in red ranks π€¦ββοΈ
-
Nothing new. I got "called out" for camping because I was chasing a survivor who kept the chase right next to the hook. For some odd reason they couldn't grasp the fact that I could keep pressure on the survivor in chase while keeping an eye on the hook at the same time if they stayed within 20 feet of the hook. Of course I wasn't just gonna let someone else come in for a free save lol

Ahh the halloween season....good times.
The absolute best season!
-
Billy, cause I only get to chase people with a chainsaw in real life for a month and a half out of the year π
-
First time I ever used third seal I had three objects... You could say it helped lol
-
As much as I love RE, I'd have to disagree. Michael Myers is one of the main faces of horror; you'd have a hard time finding someone who didn't recognize the mask. Same with Freddy or Bubba. Any RE villain? Not so much the case. RE is huge, no doubt, but chapters like Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, or TCM held potential to bring a much wider audience to dbd due to their dominance at the top of the world of horror
-
Who did you Main?
Billy.
Why did you Main them?
Because I, too, like to chase people with a chainsaw π
Did they change drastically over your time with them?
I think everyone's aware of his rework.
Did you βdropβ that Killer almost immediately or after a long period of time?
No, I still play him fairly often.
Did you adapt to the changes and continue to Main them?
Yep.
Did you find a New Main? Who?
No, but I have begun playing other killers more often, most notably Pig (but me and Billy are still best buds)
-
Honestly, I don't even dislike any killer perks. I wish some of the weaker ones were more viable to use, but I haven't caught myself being upset over the killer using any specific perks since I was in yellow ranks
-
Every other survivor deals with the same things you do and the good ones still escape many of their matches. How much help do you need?
-
Silent Hill for sure. PHead is pretty fun, looks awesome, and I might be the only person in existence who enjoys playing on Midwich...
Descend Beyond takes the second spot for me. Could've potentially taken first spot, but playing on Xbox is pretty difficult with Blight. Felix and Blight both look really good too in my opinion.
A Binding of Kin is third, but that's not saying much. Twins are kinda fun every once in a while but I feel like the idea of their power and how they implemented it is very much wasted potential. I feel like the twins definitely could've looked better aesthetically as well. Just felt like a lazy chapter overall.
All-Kill is last. I tried but I just can't really get into it. Trickster just seems like a recycled Huntress with extra steps: why throw so many knives to injure someone when I could just throw one hatchet? Plus, I just REALLY enjoy the Huntress' aesthetic; Trickster on the other hand... I get it, he doesn't need to be a big scary killer but I just get knock-off Joker vibes from him. His bat is pretty cool, so was his laugh at first but it just got annoying after the first few times. Again, this chapter just felt kinda lazy to me.
-
Gimme a tube sock and a pool ball. Or I think I saw someone suggested buffing flashlights by attaching a glock to it at one point in time. Or, ya know, a drivable tank works too
-
Regardless of anything they've said about new maps, It'd just be dumb to not release a new map with this chapter... There's just way too much potential for maps from the RE universe
-
Yeah, uhh... Nahhhh
-
There's so much potential for maps from the RE series. I think I'd be happy with pretty much anything they choose. The yard would be sweet, but so would the mansion, or the police department would be amazing as well!
-
I don't think it's viable but I'd still love to try it. I just love actually scary games, and I think a first person survivor mode where the killer has a very small or actually nonexistent TR could make this game scary. But to me that would really be more for the scare factor than actually trying to escape the match lol
