FPS really doesn't matter much, if you get above 30 the game runs fine. Though great skillchecks become pretty hard to time
Try playing killer on an Xbox when it drops into the teens for frames. Especially on the indoor maps. Because, console.
-
If half of all survs are in at least a two-man, and most of them stop playing, then queue times will soar
-
Would the queue times reverse, as survs leave and retired killers slide back in?
-
I'd rather see a huge bloodpoints bonus for say a player getting their Adept done
In addition I would like to have "Nancy day" or "Plague day" where if used they grant double or triple points or whatever.

If I could I would, not sure how it is my fault that you cannot report someone without a steam ID on the support tickets...
@Peanits Could I fill out the report ticket and just put "NA" in the player steam ID or will it not let me submit the form without a valid steam ID.
Surely they updated their own reporting methods to deal with Crossplay interactions....

Is this listing based on potential, say in the hands of someone who mastered them? Or is it with optimal perks and choice add-ons (some busted)?
Is it just for PC? Blight on console is an entirely different animal for instance, as is Nurse, Hag, and anyone with a ranged attack.
And yes I'd have to agree with the others, your love of Myers may be influencing ya somewhat. Thank you for not putting my Piggy dead-ass last I appreciate the boop.

Consoles are far from lovely. They are made cheap. Graphics are sad and the auto aiming features are even sadder. The consoles cheapness also passes on to any games released on console. It would've cost more to implement a chat feature in game. Sorry you will nevaaaaaaa... own a PC evaaaaaaa... Millennial
Pretty sure you just called somebody twice your age or so a "millennial"
Yuck

Or come on over to our lovely consoles. Never had a problem with the end chat evaaaaaaa...

"Office Space"
Killer perk: After the killer has kicked the same generator at least 4 times this perk activates.
Continuing to kick the generator and succeeding 4/3/2 very difficult skill checks will critically damage the generator, making it unrepairable for the remainder of the trial, and then this perk deactivates.
-"damn it feels good to be a gangsta"
-
"Hex: This one is mine"
Killer perk: once the gates have been powered and a surv is hooked this perk activates. While this hex stands the killer circles the hooked surv, creating an ever-inceasing barrier of pestulant flowers around the hook.
Barrier slows surv movement and unhooking speeds 15/20/25% and nulifies the killer's terror radius. Hooked surv is granted +500% bonus struggle points.

M18A1 Claymore Mine addon
- Survivors that step on a "trap" with this addon are instantly killed.
- Survivors also within 50m are put into the dying state.
"Escape this one first try *******s!"
This one needs a Piggy rbt variant please!

Please implement a post game report after each match. It should indicate, but not be limited to: total gen progression, totem cleanse, chest searches, unhooks, healing, and chase time for survivors (and I'm sure there could be more information added here that I'm not thinking of). Although the current emblem system is used to show how much of each category you attributed to each match, it is not very detailed, nor is the information made available to all players post match.
Post game information for killer would also be welcomed. You could have information like total time stalked, bottles thrown, etc.
Thanks.
I'd be cool with this, but I really think it would be far down the road priority wise.
I can also see survs roasting each other over chase or gen times and such. Kinda glad I'm on console much harder to send these to each other.

Feels good. Anybody know why this isn’t constantly, like I gets games on Lery’s that run at 30fps or Drop a ton of frames throughout the match (I am playing on Xbox one S)
Dirty rat bastard i cant get that on my Xbox1x. Teach us your wu tang ways...

In most cases the DC doesn't hurt The Killer, it makes it much easier to get a 3k.
Depends. If the killer was looking to pip up that's gone now, and if it was for bloodpoints that's prolly out too unless they farm.
But yeah if it just to get the other three dead and no one gets blood absolutely easier with a dc.

Years ago I really really tried Nurse on my old Xbox1 but no go, even though I put in months and it was before her rework & bug infestation.
There's like 4 expert Xbox1 Nurses out there and I think 3 retired. I get it the frames and turning just won't allow it, and it is why I imagine there's so few Blights and Hags and such.
Shame really.

Thought that survivors could escape even with a bear trap attached to them, but I guess an update might have occurred that changed this. I only bring this up because just a month ago I played as jigsaw and a survivor still escaped the trial while they had an active bear trap. But I tried escaping and died. And both times were when the trap was activated after the last generator was completed but different ending results.

If the trap is active attempting to leave through an open exit gate will kill. If inactive the gates are safe. This change came about when EGC was introduced.
Leaving through the hatch is safe whether the trap is active or not.

This kind of focusing should cost her every match if the other survs do their objectives.
Literally faced a small streamer with like 80 hours (was rank 7 or 8) that just tunneled and camped with piggy (not shaming him,he barely knows the game yet and how to play effectively) but wins anyway because teammates just throw the game by being super altruistic.
Sad. It's kinda like a facecamping bubba, it works if the survs let it work, almost doing the killer's job for them.
And the Piggy doesn't end up learning either.
-
This is not how you win with Piggy. This kind of focusing should cost her every match if the other survs do their objectives.

Us lowly consolers add things like this to the "is it PC only and is it unfair" pile, which contains things like:
Video card this
Sound card that
Monitor sized whatever
Resolution that over there
Fps above 25 and actually steady
Sensitivity 8000+
And I'm sure other thingys I'm forgetting. But we all play the same game, right?
-
Among my favorites are the lengthy threads explaining why the game is soooo killer-sided, and the very next post is a just as lengthy thread detailing how the game is entirely survivor-sided.
Somewhere in both posts is bound to be something about the other side being toxic, and both posts claiming this or that is killing the game, and both posts also mentioning how the devs have lost (insert bla bla bla here) with their own game.

Whenever I see the Lerys/Gideon as the last offering on the right, I automatically mentally prepare myself for a Jumpscare Myers match.
I often go on runs of map offerings when I get indoor ones way too often. Feels good when the killer absents themselves when their Gideon/Lery's etc. offering is rng'd right out.
Very often it was a spoopy Myers, or the mother of all oppressive Doc builds.
-
I'd love it. Devs I believe said nope. Prolly to not split the playerbase.
-
If you mean the charm code it was heavily bugged when it first came out on console.
-
Wow strong changes, if true.
Surprised Freddy's snares now melt. And NOED gets a countdown & no longer burns? That buffs Undying/Ruin I'd say. If this is the complete list and keys remain unchanged, several Killer Mains are gunna have an anurism...

read all what i say dude, that was just 1 of my suggestions. And im not talking about windows features. Im talking about third party apps like discord, and about mute microphones.
How would the devs even enforce any disruption in comms if they wanted to? I don't know about the other platforms, but on Xbox the party chat is entirely separate from any game being played. Heck we can even be playing different games. And I believe Microsoft mandated any game they accept cannot interfere with the party chats in any way.

So would Blood Warden trigger a second time after somebody closes the gates with this change? How would all this even work with Blood Warden?
-
When I solo and get a bunch of matches in a row having no Obsession I will throw on a Broken Key with the wedding ring on to force an Obsession and mitigate the direct tunnels.
I would love to see it reshaped to not look like a hatch key, I'd use broken ones more.
-
Yup yup all about that RUIM life
-
Am I missing something here? What is this Macro thingy something only on PC?
-
I think it is a nod to the 4 on 1 aspect of the game, so killers get more and higher level perks quicker to contend with the 4 perks vs.16 perks combined.
-
Coming soon. Ya know, soon. Like 60 frames for PS4 and Xbox1 variety of soon.
So, soon.

Also thank you to a Billy player that wore the pig skin cosmetic and let me boop him mad respect to you 💕🐖
Awwweeee wholesome piggy goodness! Happy New Years!

Smile folks it's just a game.
Happy New Year! :)

Yeah it's fustrating when the survs get it off first try, but it is part of the RNG of her traps. She has two add-ons that effect the trap countdown, one that shaves off 30sec and another that adds on 30sec for some strange reason. I'd say Piggy needs her add-ons shown some love more than anything about her actual kit.

Struggling and wiggling has a purpose and:
- Get better internet. Any online game has the requirement of an internet connection and if you don't have it, well too bad.
- The timing is very lenient already. Apart from that, everyone will tell you to put struggling on the scroll wheel.
- Maybe normally press the button with a finger instead of bashing it with a hammer like an enraged gorilla.
- If you have fatigue, you should take a break as with literally any activity in the world. That's just you knowingly straining yourself.
Me and others on Xbox can die on hook while struggling whenever the frames drop. This can be caused by a gen popping nearby, sloppy being applied, exposed/NOED procting, Myers teiring up, Lithe and/or exhaustion kicking in, many more. Thankfully the recent changes to chests seem a to have taken them off this list, they were notorious for causing it.
Anyway this issue has been brought up in threads before so they are aware, but it is yet another reason why consoles need that promised 60 fps from like two years ago.
A side effect is the accelerated wear to the controller, which is real as well.
-
Doc. Can be the longest most annoying matches evaaaaaa

Tell me how to trigger connection errors so I can use that to depip myself to more proper rank
Simple, play on Xbox1. I lose connection or lag out of the party every 4-5 matches or so. Most times I restart the game (or everything if need be) every 2-3 matches to bandaid it. Most likely is memory leakage, but you know how well DBD is optimized.
I certainly don't do it to depip.

Play Freddy and use this build:
- Dying Light: 0.03 * 8 stacks = 0.24 (max you can get where a survivor is still affected)
- Thanatophobia: 0.05 * 4 stacks = 0.2
- Jump Rope: 0.04
- Swing Chains: 0.02 * 4 stacks = 0.08
Here is the math for 1 survivor that is not the obsession (and no repair speed buffs):
80/((1-0.24)*(1-0.2)*(1-0.04)*(1-0.08)) = 148.97 seconds
Roughly 2 and a half minutes.
The mathematical explanation of why Freddy is not too beloved...

I have no problem with such an indicator in post game, though I doubt it will ever happen. You're right about the dodging problem if it was in the lobby.

I'm exclusively mobile. The players don't have the ability yet to point, so all they can do if they approach me in a crouch is butt dance, and since I have PTSD from all those matches I've played against better survivors who I can see from a distance butt dancing at the open exit gates while I walk by to break leftover pallets for a few points, it awakens a rage inside me when I see any sort of butt dancing. 😅
I see. Makes sense

Also RNG can be brutal. I once spent a whole game going to jigsaw boxes and finally got it off, was on death hook too, pig found me and I booped their snoot and they let me go.
They killed me in the end but just leaving me in the game long enough to at least do SOMETHING else was super appreciated. They saw I was struggling, and let me boop the snoot and cut me just enough slack to not de-pip.
There are a lot of newer pigs that tunnel and camp and do obnoxious things; but most of them are very good and respectful players and I love them.
Glad to be of service! :)

I can't really call Piggy hated, but newer players have problems with her and a few sisters out there have put together unfortunate stories of camping jigsaw boxes and tunneling headgear all day long. Since neither are my style nor imo help her I don't do those tactics myself.

This is about right for Xbox as well. I get maybe two Nurses a year
