I don't think that's the case at all. I just leveled up Pyramid Head last night all the way to 50, and I'm currently sitting on 51 slices of cake!

Peanits admitted it in another thread that they forgot to add it to the patch notes.

Locked outfits help BHVR (easier, quicker, and cheaper to make) and take away player options, I don't see how this can be a good thing for us, the players.

I worked with the model in Blender it's made the exact same as the rest of them. You could have them separate it really wouldn't of been that big of a deal they're just forcing it.

  • I was going to get the Nea skin but I'll pass with it being linked. No one cared about clipping issues with certain clothing...their loss in revenue...this is their problem, trash communication with their player base...0 description on the Cheryl cosmetics when they come out that you couldn't mix and match because most of them would of looked awesome combo'd .... Now none licensed characters full sets only...nah sorry not buying it.

I'm gonna make this short by simply saying that many of the hits that should hit when playing killer will not hit. This already happens when I swing at windows, but now I'll most likely swing right through a survivor because of their rat ######### internet.

Let's not leave out how this is gonna slaughter Huntress. Since this system will effect the servers, her hits will be more fair for survivors and less fair for her. How? Well, half of her hatchets have no collision. For those that don't know, dead-ass, half of her hatchets will just phase directly through survivors. This makes me laugh when people complain about "hatchet hitboxes" (when it's actually dedicated servers) because more often that not, her hatchets have no hitbox. Soon it'll be 50/50 between a needle hitbox and no hitbox.

Yeah but they're upping the server tick rate to refresh twice as fast so you'll see stuff making a lot more sense it's rarely going to be a case of "hitting through a survivor"

  • They decreased the spawn rate of the cakes in the Bloodweb (once they fixed them) and didn't say anything.

  • NGL he probably need more tweaking with his power, he's 0 mind-game...he tries to long range you and loses no movement speed and instantly swaps back to his melee...we just played against a rank 1 Phead and he had 0 issues on Springwood getting a 4k

  • IMO They need to remove gens and find a new way for survivors and Killers to play the game it's like there is 2 sides of the game which neither side cares about and that is generators. Killers just want to chase and kill the survivors. Survivors like to get chased but then there's survivors who just sit and do gens that the killer has to worry about whilst chasing 1 survivor. I'm not a game dev so I wouldn't really have any idea how to figure out ways to make sure everyone has to interact together in the game, maybe have object hidden around the map that only 1 survivor can see and the other survivor is the one who has to solve putting the pieces together etc...something along those lines instead of just being basic of repair these generators, escape. Killer is mad gens popped so they facecamp and tunnel etc...Survivors teabag the killer because he couldn't gen pressure correctly...

TLDR: Generators ruin the game for everyone and they need a new method for the game.

  • Great Combo, Second Wind & Off The Record (if you don't run Iron Will) but Second Wind for me lately has been incredibly buggy! I.e Full healing someone off the hook and not seeing it ready to use...so i chose not to use it anymore, I hope they fix it

  • I've been on Xbox and I've only played against 2 Pheads in the past 3 days. That's pretty bad for a new killer, i've played against more Deathslingers than him. I never see the new survivor being used either, makes me think this chapter was very poorly executed, I've heard everyone hating on the new map too. I'm all in favor of new content but lately it seems they can't get that right either, I feel like they need a new strategy in terms of creating new chapters...they need to start asking test groups of players like the big names of streaming who would have to sign a NDA etc to see if they would think it would be a good idea to add certain chapters into the game, because honestly since Stranger Things, the chapters have been pretty lame. The Cursed Legacy DLC wasn't bad but the previous 2 chapters have brought more useless perks into the game that no one cares to use really...

I dont know about anyone else but all the other issues in the game would not bother me so much if only the grind was not so bad. The fact that playing perfect only gets you 32k max is barley enough for half a bloodweb (depending how low or high the survivor/killer your leveling up) and to top it all off its extra hard for new people to play the game because of how insane it is. I know it takes time but at least make double xp weekend or increase the BP gain in game. Something. Im pretty sure most people would stop complaining or being mad if they at least got alot or more BP out of their match. Also make some people not just suicide on hook, dc or go afk. I just want some thought into this or if anything will change. Hope to hear from the devs lr2 at least the community opinions on the matter of BP grind.

I'll say it a milliion times. They need to create a milestone system to reward bloodpoints. For example, say there's a section called "Medals" or something...each medal would require the survivor/killer to complete certain objectives in the game give us 4 different Milestones to reach like bronze/silver/gold/platinum and up the requirements each time and every time we complete a milestone we get loads of bloodpoints and a little bit of shards. I'll give a few examples

    "Blind The Killer 50/100/500/1000 Times"

    • Bronze = 100k BP's A Bronze FL Charm and 50 Shards
    • Silver = 150kBP's A Silver FL Charm and 100 Shards
    • Gold = 750k BP's A Gold FL Charm and 500 Shards
    • Platinum = 1Mil BP's A Platinum FL Charm and 1000 Shards

Honestly doing something like that in the game would take time to add but would benefit the health and the grind of the game for the entire player base, it wouldn't become a horrible grindy game anymore and instead people can decide how they want to focus on a particular play style in the game to work towards getting those medals and unlockables.

Cake fix time? Hoping that since most updates are on Tuesdays it'll be today and not actually late this week.

No doubt it will be Friday when they release the new Nea Skin. Kinda like "Hey! We Fixed the thing that was Broken! You Can Come Back Now! Oh and here's a New Cosmetic for you!"....seriously everything they've done lately to this game has sent it backwards and not developing it forwards

  • they literally just made maps smaller, removed a lot of good loops and they added the ability to get clipped on every object on the map to slow survivors down, then to top all that off they add more objects to get stuck on where there wasn't any...not to mention a lot of pallets don't spawn anymore where they used tot....take Badham pre-school for example, the school used to always spawn pallets on the cars, downstairs and and at the back of the school, now only 1 pallet spawns outside and you're lucky if you find another inside...survivors just got a massive nerf and with the new killer even more stuff getting made obsolete and you're telling me they need more of a nerf? Just wait till dedicated servers are better optimized so you guys aren't spoon fed hits in every chase...sick and tired of killers complaining about stuff when they don't realize how much BS the survivors deal with against each killer....got about a 100 of clips of me getting hit through pallets and objects....just saying when i do find pallets I'm hit through them anyways, because the game is designed to favor the Killer getting the hit instead of the survivor getting away.

  • Tbh the whole chapter was a let down for me, taking the game in such a strange direction...the survivors perks are pretty lame. Can't see many of Pyramid Heads perks being used on other Killers, I get they're trying to change up the meta perks on both sides but this was kinda the wrong way to do it. I love the aesthetic of the map but it is awful to play on both sides, the pallets are garbage, these stupid long hallways make no sense and the only good loop is the window in one of the classrooms till the wall is broken and has a unsafe pallet on either side...especially since A LOT of Killer bloodlust now

I don't want to hate or anything but can they please fire their current update gameplay tester and hire someone who actually plays and TESTS the game?

Imagine GETTING PAYED for testing new Dead By Daylight content and not doing your job

Lol you really think they pay someone to do that? This is why there's a Public Test Build for new updates so they get the players to give them feedback which they're so slow at responding to FYI the public test build is only on PC the game works differently on each platform but i guess a happy PC community is better than the console community (which has more players btw)

Because they think programming is easy, just like you. You're literally criticizing something you have no understanding of. If you did, you would criticize very different aspects of the game, as opposed to "updates aren't coming as quickly as I want" (which also ignores what I said before, about people complaining about how often they used to update).

Most of the complaints are to go unaddressed because the people who complain don't accept reality: the stats don't support their complaints. One of those stats, funnily enough, is the fact that the number of players keeps increasing, not decreasing as you claim.

Again never claimed to know how it works or even said it was easy but okay, keep trying to one up me just to try and make yourself look good defending a underdeveloped game. It's not a case of me being mad updates not coming out as quickly as "i" want, most of the community feels the same way.

The player base is obviously going to increase if they've literally brought the game to new platforms likes the Switch. The game is on Xbox Game Pass which is also going to entice more people to play it and I feel bad for new players joining this game who are going to leave because of a lot of issues.

But yey another person who just looks at stats. They don't tell the whole story...

Go learn some programming. I think you'll find it enlightening.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1326433#Comment_1326433

You mentioned complaints and how the devs don't address them, I chose an example to show that complaints don't mean something is unbalanced or needs changing. NOED is simply the best example because it's been nerfed twice, yet the complaints remain. The problem isn't the perk itself, it's that some people just don't want to counter it. The same principle applies to the majority of complaints.

Why are you trying to tell someone who plays the game to learn some programming? This is their day in day out Job...they're doing it for a living, doesn't matter how hard it is they get paid to do it...doesn't really justify the timeframe in updates they give us.

So all the NOED complaints are meant to just go unnoticed just like DS, BT, Adrenaline etc...? There's literally too much stuff complained about and not a lot happening on the dev side is what my POV is. If they addressed it and said they would actually look to fix these things then it would be fine. But no more and more feedback complaints build up more and more people leave the game because nothing get's done about it...

  • @Rydog said:

The short answer is that Behaviour is not a terribly agile company when it comes to deploying urgent fixes or aggressively responding to data about how their game is played.

The longer answer probably has a lot to do with not wanting to make knee-jerk responses to balancing issues, and erring toward letting the meta develop organically, then making conservative and granular shifts. Mostly this is OK, sometimes it is not enough. The "problem" we have on these forums is that there is not a lot of regular transparency about what the internal thought process is -- but we're also not entitled to that.

I wish that fixes for a lot of the really big usability hurdles -- UI/UX, systemic angst (like the perk grind), server tick rates, matchmaking, these weird random disconnect or resolution issues people have been experiencing, etc. -- had a more visible pipeline. Balance stuff, it's just gonna happen as it happens.

But do you not believe that everything you just listed should be a priority in fixing instead of them bringing out Chapters as frequently as they do?

  • @EvilJoshy said:

I know nothing about programming and even I can tell you updates take time. Unlike DLC they don't make extra money for fixing their game. Charging us for updates would literally start a riot. (Seriously, everyone is looking for an excuse to do that right now)

If your upset about survivor movement being whacky for a month, try putting up with a bugs for 9 months. I'm still waiting for them to address the Nurse bugs that were introduced since her rework.

We're not in competition over who has the most bugs on what side and how long they've lasted for it doesn't justify them not being fixed. Furthermore I didn't claim i wanted them to charge for updates, this isn't Fallout 76.

I've been in a lot of gaming communities and this is the worst "live" game i've seen neglected for gameplay breaking bug fixes.

Beyond anything else I think this post really highlights how entitled many in the gaming community have become. When did we start demanding weekly updates? moaning when we don’t always get what we want. Being critical is fine (I’ve given my fair share of criticisms) but more and more I see posts that really are just pure entitlement.

It’s ridiculous, DBD has some issues but I can see they are at least trying... the game has made strides and is in a much better state now.

I personally think monthly updates are fine for a smaller studio and I’m happy with their continued support and interaction with the community.

Trust me I’m in some other gaming communities that would love to get the treatment BHVR gives us as a community.

Entitled? The amount of money most people put into a game like this and we see more cosmetic updates than we do gameplay bug fixes? Your reply makes 0 sense...not sure how anything in this post is entitlement, because you know it's fun when you pay money to play a game and pay for the battlepass and what not and then you expect some sort of professionalism with dealing with gameplay bugs. I'm saying is they spending too much time focusing on balancing the new killer with the PTB and stuff instead of fixing current issues in the game that have persisted for a long time.

  • @Orion said:

Programming isn't as simple as you seem to believe. Even putting that aside, you can't do weekly balance changes because one week isn't enough to see how the game changes (if at all) due to the changes you made last week.

Have you considered the fact that people complaining about something doesn't mean it's actually broken? People have been complaining about NOED since the game was launched and it's been nerfed twice since then. Even still, the complaints continue.

PS: They used to update quite regularly. Back then, people were complaining about having too many updates.

So you sit and nitpick NOED out of everything I said...okay? Not quite sure what your argument is supposed to be about because i'm literally just talking about the majority of complaints that i see on the forums and never claimed to have a issue with it personally, clearly the community find it an issue in the game or it wouldn't be complained about so much, just another ignored thing like everything else the community offer. Pretty sure i didn't sit here and claim to know how easy or hard programming works either, but having some sort of game breaking bugs in the game for so long isn't doing it justice is it?

  • @DelsKibara said:

First off, let me just put into context.

BHVR as a whole company only employs 500 Employees. That's not 500 Developers, that's 500 employees.

Meaning they don't have 500 people working on the code of the game. That's up to the programmers. Which as far as I can tell, isn't exactly a big enough team to do weekly changes like what you're asking.

They are not a huge company like Rockstar or Ubisoft, and their resources are rather limited, so weekly updates would just not be possible for them to do.

so you're telling me a game studio designed a game around perk mechanics and don't have a dedicated team into balancing perks that they can do on a weekly or even monthly basis? Hmmm okay...because let's be real, perks barely get changed and it's disgusting.

Furthermore while not EVERYONE is a programmer at the studio they're clearly budgeting their staff for 3-D Modelling and design for cosmetics.

Then we have more of the programmers working on upcoming chapters instead of fixing the games bugs.

  • How about adding a new Item like a water bottle or something to the game that wouldn't so much instantly give you your exhaustion perk back but instead decrease the recovery time for it, or give it new effects to remove Mangled effects etc...I think it be a cool concept to have a water bottle or something similar...

  • @PigMainClaudette said:

Xbox is fine. I don't know what you're on about.

Frames are not everything and I don't know why PC players keep on championing it. The game is functional, looks like it should (besides Quentin's face) without running at a snail's pace. Some of us don't care about all the fancy lighting either. Maybe I like the idea of being near invisible because the game isn't super high-res.

Threads like this make PC players look even more like elitists and it's honestly infuriating. Console gamers are generally a more casual audience too, so they don't NEED to have their retinas burned out with ULTRA-4K GRAPHICS and some of us, myself included, actually prefer to have a controller in my hands, rather than a mouse and keyboard.

Sorry but in modern PvP games frames are everything. A game just barely being functional isn't acceptable, I shouldn't stutter just getting hit from Franklins and the game suffers from horrible cache issues on Xbox...even if you hover over a perk in the bloodweb it freezes. I'm not a PC player, i've played Xbox/Playstation all my life, only a fool would think that Xbox/PS4 versions of this game are good.

No one is asking for Ultra 4k graphics. Just a smooth experience and the way to get a smooth experience is by having a steady framerate.

Even when i play on PC i'm using my controller...

This, and the way survivors can still abuse braindead perks like BT and DS still bothers me. Not to mention Balancing BT messes with TWO killer powers (Legion and Deathslinger). And Keys destroy any kind of killer power in a match. A killer is doing well and killed two of us? Lets use a key and both escape! See how frustrating that is?

"Abuse Braindead Perks" Both of these perks pretty much rely on the Killers style of play to even work..."Keys destroy any Killers power in a match"...wow sounds like you're getting mad people are hatching out of the game before your NOED get's activated. I'm not even going to compare a Key to a Mori because that makes literally no sense, people should see Keys as a counter to NOED more than anything...Mori's are drastically unbalanced and while they're fun, no one should be taken out of the game within 2 minutes of loading into it.

  • @Dead_by_Gadfly said:

I posted this in another thread, it applies here too:

One survivor can do all 5 gens in 400 secs. That's 6.6 minutes. So lets say 7 and a half minutes for time to run in between gens (450 secs). The time only goes down from there as 2 survivors working on gens cuts that time in half.

The killer by contrast has to get 12 hooks, thats 24 stabs assuming nobody heals. That means the killer has to stab someone every 19 seconds, and that time includes having to hook and find the next stab.

This is mathmatically impossible for the killer to get a 4k unless the survivors do something very stupid. The reason billy and nuse do so well is because theyre able to end chases very very quicly when a good killer uses them and their average stab rate is probably well below that 19 secs. Freddy only does so well cause hes able to teleport across the map and his stab rate is slightly lower than 19 between the snares and the teleporting.

So yes, unless youre running a really good killer character, this game is absolutely survivor sided still.

That doesnt mean they should balance around killers getting a 4k every game because that would be stupid, but increasing that 19 to something closer to 25 or 30 would be more fair.

Thats why ruin worked so well. It increased that 450 secs, and its why playing killer is so much more stressful. Youre under a serious time crunch

I mean you can sit and do math about it all you like, it doesn't apply to every games scenario.

Generators are the biggest problem in the game, simple fact on both sides...boring dumb mechanic that separates players in the game. It would be better to have everyone working together to solve stuff to escape whilst running around the map trying to avoid the killer etc...but they said they would never change the core of the game which is sad really because imagine this game without the dull basic mechanic of Generators and instead survivors had to find items hidden around the map and join them together or whatever before they leave. I don't believe this would cause it to be linear as the devs have said they don't want people to be learning the easy escape strats...when reality is that is what is already happening with gen spawns etc...

But it is part of your argument that killers "can't complain about anything on the survivor side now", isn't it?

Quote: "So with killers running these perks it takes forever to heal up and even do gens."

If these weren't both part of your argument that killers can't complain anymore, why even include it?

Because i was explaining why Killers shouldn't be complaining with how much easier it is now when running that type of build...I didn't say anything about their perks being bad or in turn asking for survivor buffs/killer nerfs.

I'm baffled to see how Killers are still complaining when survivors have had gens speeds nerfed, maps made smaller, loops and pallets adjusted and soon getting more breakable walls...game is way towards the killer now the way it should be so Killers shouldn't be asking for more survivor nerfs. Crazy.

  • I made a post similar to this, notice it is usually after being unhooked (when the survivor isn't on the hook properly) then when you run around you bump into things a lot easier, and your movement slows down and speeds up in some cases!

    This.

1: Some maps (even changed ones) still have infinites on them if RNG is cruel like that.

2: The gen nerf is a complete and utter joke, it's not even a point.

3: When survivors still have 800 second chance perks like DS, Adrenalin, every exhaustion perk, Unbreakable, and many more killers have every right too complain about it. The only second chance perk the killers have is NOED.

4: Even if the game was 100% balanced people can still complain about whatever they want. The amount of people screaming that "X killer is OP, NERF THEM" or "DS is completely UP and needs buffs!" is ridiculous. The forums are here for everyone too speak their mind no matter how backwards it is. If you don't like the post then don't comment on it, but people have every right too complain/say what they want (as long as it regards too DBD.)

It doesn't make sense for a Killer to have second chance perks...what else could you possibly want to catch survivors? Oh you missed a window vault hit but never mind here is a 150% haste effect to catch back up to a survivor?

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1294150#Comment_1294150

If you are a bad player, yes dead hard is not that strong. Iron will puts you at an advantage against higher tier killers because higher tier killers pay more attention to sounds in the game. The build that I recommended is one of the strongest builds in the game for survivor. IW and BT will buy you a good 2-3 minutes per game even if you are playing solo, as you can sneak up easier to the killer even while injured to get a safe save with BT. Even if the survivor you save is an idiot, on most occasions you can exploit the auto aim feature to make the killer hit the person you unhooked, giving you a free unhook and giving the person you unhooked a free grace period and essentially a free sprint burst, buying your entire team a good 30 seconds or more of time.

You should probably learn to play the game before you comment on issues related to game balance. The 3 seconds of invulnerability that dead hard affords you is enough to get to a chain of windows and pallets on nearly any map, given that you have already been hit once by the killer and have got the speed boost.

I suggest you start learning maps and map layouts if you are having a hard time with killers, especially if you are running dead hard, as you are not using the perk to its fullest if you are allowing the killer to down you shortly after using dead hard.

It's not about the killer downing after using Dead Hard, It's in the sense it's bugged out so you get exhausted on the floor. Yeah it's a good loop extender, but some cases you need to use it out in the open. BT doesn't give anyone 2-3 minutes extra game time, i'm sorry but in what universe is that even possible..."You should probably learn to play the game before you comment on issues" says the person who thinks BT will buy someone 2-3 minutes extra in the game...it's funny how brain dead people are in these forums who can't take anyone elses opinions and instead chalk it down to them apparently not knowing how to play the game.

i mean i play more survivor, i dont play killer much as its not fun. i play games for fun, going against a full swf with 12-16 second chance perks isnt fun, they obviously abuse it when they know theyre going to win, they act toxic, tbag and click flashlights because they know theyre the power role. but its pointless saying anything to you so far you have said:

    • There are survivors that have 0 game sense that dont now maps etc. and its too hard for them
    • Survivors need to use all second chance perks
    • there arent enough pallets
    • you hate killer perks like sloppy etc,
    • youre a really good survivor but killer too strong
    • rank is a mess but killers need nerfs
    • survivors struggle on gens
    • anyone to say survivor is stronger is an entitled killer

you have no sense, everything you say just puts me in the idea youre a cry baby who cant stand losing a game. you arent meant to escape every game and survivors are stronger, DS,BT,DH,Unbreakable are far better than nurses, sloppy,BBQ. youre just complaining about everything which just shows you really arent a good survivor, you probably just play alot and get mad you get out played or have a bad team, guess what it happens! ranks are a mess that doesnt mean nerf killers. its already too damn easy as a survivor.

All i'm reading is i'm a civilized player who cries about second chance perks when reality is not all survivors run them I also never said survivors NEED to run second chance perks...but when they do run them killers complain and they still may not escape. Nothing we have talked about is survivors being toxic etc..so not sure what that's got to do with the price of Rice in China. I never said i hate killer perks like sloppy, i said killers shouldn't be complaining but still are and i just listed a few meta perks and how they were working on the shrunken maps. Never said killer was too strong either...never said killers need nerfs. I said some bad/new survivors struggle on gens. Never said Killers are entitled by saying survivors are stronger, i said they're entitled because they want to complain about not getting a kill because they got hit with a "second chance perk". , literally everything you're listing here are based on assumptions and theories about me. When in truth all i said was killers shouldn't be complaining about survivor stuff still when effectively each game has been made tighter and easier for the killer to get kills.

I'm not expecting to escape every game and i never said i want to escape every game, AGAIN assumptions...this isn't what my post was about...BBQ & Nurses show you a survivors aura and you're telling me that's not as good as a survivor being able to help themselves instead of relying on tms to save them? OK makes sense.

I'm not mad with my gameplay or anything of the sorts. Again my post was about Killers still complaining even though they've got it easier than ever...

i said it made my whole message capped when i copied lithe over but whatever makes the xbox Dorito lord feel better.Im saying killers dont MAKE survivors pick a perk the survivor does so stop acting like a little baby and saying you are forced to and, acting like a victim. Saying that unbreakable or ds isnt over powered just look at ANY tier list and they are always in s or a tier."camping and slugging there would be no reason no to play any other way!" sure if you're in like rank 17."The first survivor to go down would effectively be dead" lmfao ok i cant argue with this kid anymore.

"xbox Dorito Lord" LOL who tf are you? I'm dead from that one pal. Calls me a kid with insults like that...haha. AGAIN you are looking at TIER LISTS and STATS instead of actually playing the game or talking from EXPERIENCE....So please tell me how a killer would play IF these "OP perks" were removed...because i'm pretty sure, no matter what rank they're in they're going to target because survivors WILL have no defense perks, they'll get unhooked, nothing to combat as hooks are far from anything safe, so hit and dead. Also yeah I shouldn't have to FORCE myself to run a perk...but It is what it is, you were wondering why survivors run these perks so i'm explaining the reasoning behind it. i'm not the one playing victim when all you entitled baby killers have to complain EVERYDAY about these "OP Perks".

Call it what you want, it's still a massive advantage over the old.

MASSIVE ADVANTAGE. Lol apparently fixing a bug is an advantage now...I guess when they fix pallet hits that's going to be OP too!

This is why the ranking system is an issue (Not that rank matters ) but this is why the ranking system needs to be fixed. It is sooooooooo easy for killers to get to rank 1 because the ranking system is so busted right now and when rank 1 killers that would originally be rank 10 killers actually do play against genuinely good rank 1 survivors, they complain because most of the time they run into potato rank 1 survivors that should be rank 10 survivors but when they run into a good team of rank 1 survivors they just get confused. Rank 1 is the best rank in the game and we have rank 10's playing as rank 1's. The ranking systems is just so busted right now so a majority of the current rank 1 survivors play like rank 10's.

I agree. Even when i play against green rank killers or whatever most of them do WAY better than red rank killers. The new SBMM will be good for the game!

also if you actually payed attention to the stream youd know they said they would look into it with the new ranking, they know their ranks are a mess. just because you have a swf that should be in green dying doesnt mean swf doesnt provide insane benefits. coms alone can work as 6 odd information perks, but honestly i doubt you was red rank before ruin, youre complaining about everything for killers without the slight bit of consideration on how strong survivors are and the benefits they get.

I mean i have proof that I was rank 1 before the ruin nerf but continue to doubt it :) got plenty of old streams from those days and I never had a problem with old ruin...but what you're saying about old ruin is it clearly made everyones skill levels bad, killers included if they had to rely on it...also when i played Killer i didn't have an issue with any of these perks, only whiny entitled killer complain about them because they want an excuse...it's a fact. Survivors don't abuse these perks and aren't at fault for running them so stop pretending that they are.

so let me get this straight you hate killer using perks that help them but youre okay using second chance perks. and actually everything i said is a fact, its so very easy to rank up as survivor, you need like 2 safe unhooks and a heal to get an iri emblem in it. no survivor struggles with gens, like f me its nearly impossible to miss skillchecks. everything you are saying relates to bad survivors being red rank not that its too hard, too often people go down by killers insanely fast for you to lead on a huge chase against the same killer, you can say killer is strong because they can kil people who have no understanding of the maps, loops etc. like if a red rank killer cant win against survivors that cant play you have a broken af game. my suggestion is suck it up and accept the perks, no killer perks are broken and survivor have more of a chance than ever. maps have only been made smaller, btw hawkings has 15odd pallets but we can still call that a killer sided map because people havent learned to loop and actually rely on unfair long loops. id say over 50% of red ranks belong in green, theyre only red due to the ruin and rank changes.

Maybe for you it's easy but I said bad survivors/newer players will miss skill checks...it's a fact, they don't all know where gen spawns are either so it could take them the same amount of time to find a gen as a good player running the killer...nothing i'm saying is about survivors being bad...it's a fact killers have it easier than ever before so i don't understand how you can continue to try and argue the opposite back to me, just waiting for the actual skill based matchmaking, no doubt killers will still have something to complain about..."Hawkins has 15 odd pallets" yeah also about 80% of them are unsafe pallets on about a 3 barrel prop to run around so by the time you even drop it the killer can just walk round it in a second....imagine thinking people are in red ranks because of sitting on gens xD I've had games of doing 4 gens and not even pipped...same thing could be said for Killers, requires next to no skill to hit Rank 1...but whatever, done arguing with you, legit moron with everything you're saying.

DS and Dead Hard are still the strongest perks in the game, able to win it.

DS DH IW and BT makes you pretty much invulnerable to anything a killer can do, and doubles or even triples the amount of time you are chased by the killer, however bad or skilled you are.

Another delusional person who goes with the forum flow and complains with what everyone else wants to complain about. Dead Hard doesn't work half the time FYI. Iron Will doesn't make you invulnerable and it may cause mind games but as loops are effectively reduced, it's not a god perk unless your on a broken map like Yamokoa...

" IMAGINE SURVIVORS HAVING TO FORCE THEMSELVES TO RUN UNBREAKABLE" VICTIM MUCH? NO ONE IS FORCING YOU. YOU DO IT ON YOUR OWN DONT BLAME KILLERS BECAUSE YOU WANT TO USE THE OP PERKS, AGAIN YOUR ARGUMENT CAN JUST BE FLIPPED TO THE KILLERS SIDE AKA I ONLY RUN FOREVER FREDDY BECAUSE OF DS ETC ETC. "THEY CAN ONLY USE ONCE A GAME" YEAH BUT IT MAKES GETTING HOOKED 3 TIMES TO 4, 5, 6 BECAUSE OF ALL THE SECOND CHANCES YOU GUYS GET FOR GETTING HIT.DEVS HAVE ALSO SAID THAT THOSE PERKS AREN'T ANTI TUNNEL/SLUG PERKS IT JUST THE COMMUNITY THAT LABELS THEM AS SUCH. AND LASTLY ON THE GOD LOOP COMMENT SURVIVORS CAN JUST LOOP AND LOOP AND LOOP TILL THE KILLER IS RIGHT BEHIND THEN THEY SB,LITHE,BL TO GET TO ANOTHER WINDOW AND CONTINUE LOOPS WHEN THEY ARE IN RANGE OF A KILLER M1.

also it capped everything after i copied lithe so im not re writing it in lower case.

Wow someone is mad. Yeah if i've been slugged 3 games in a row, i'm going to put unbreakable on. Who in the right mind wouldn't? Imagine taking 2 perk slots up for unbreakable and DS...when a survivor would much rather try a fun healing build or something...you obviously have trouble understanding survivors, how boring it is running DS & Unbreakable when not everyone wants to do that...if survivors want to do that then they can, nothing Overpowered about them though so stop acting like they're because effectively if DS, Unbreakable and BT were removed or Nerfed every killer would be getting 4ks from tunneling, camping and slugging there would be no reason no to play any other way! The first survivor to go down would effectively be dead. Starting to think you play a different game at this point.
