Wow how many Brain cells do you have probaly none😂.
You see what I did there , its something people who dont know how to discuss say. They insult people when they think they are right pretty pathtic...
Yes its 4 v 1 but there are 2 sides. Just because it is 4 V1 doesn't automatically say there should be 4 Times more survivors then Killers.
That's legit what it means though. it's a 4:1 ratio.

also the way you say solo`s should be able to bully a killer is stupid af, like can you imagine basing the balance of a game if you can bully the opposite side? like no you arent meant to be able to bully a killer. when they fix the ranking expect survivors to get more nerfs/balances atm its too easy even more so with swf and second chance perks. people bully because theyre the power role and its sickening, i hate seeing teammates be toxic for no reason. rank means nothing. survivor is the power role. the game isnt balanced.
OMG, You actually are crazy, I didn't say solo survivors should bully killers...i was referring to what someone else said about 4 survivors without comms and perks would find it easy against a killer. Wow. I'm done even trying to have a discussion with someone who doesn't even read.

Youre basing your opinion on bad survivors though, escaping has always been a team effort solo or swf. as a solo you will depend on your team not being bad, but atm everyone is red rank, it takes no skill to be red rank anymore, i have seen rank 2 survivors miss skillchecks, never look behind them, unable to loop basic loops, 0 knowledge of counter play. of course killer will be strong against those types of players, those players should be green rank at best. survivors solo or not have faced far worse and came out on top, we had nurse and spirits before the nurf with the old ruin but could still go in solo and play well, killers have been made weaker and survivors easier and thats why it may look that way as too many survivors are way past the rank they should be, all you need to do is hold a button on a gen, hold a button running forwards and you could hit red rank. not to mention you can loop killers at alot of loops for awhile wasting their time, now add a bunch of second chance perks, even stronger now add swf, congrats you broke the game.
Actually while i agree ranks don't mean anything, saying it's easy for bad survivors to level up isn't true, they don't know the map layouts like everyone else as well and a bad survivor struggles with gen progress most of the time while the good survivors may be getting camped etc...again nothing your saying are facts and are very situational cases, I consider myself good at the game, i get told by my viewers i'm a good survivor, i'm just saying how I see it in the game, I get BS on pallet hits, smaller maps with a lot less loops and killer run NOED every game when we eventually get the gens done because if killers are running gen pressure builds then it's even harder...So survivors i guess are suppose to die and not have second chance perks? Come back to me with that one when that makes sense, I suppose survivors should just be immediately killed because they got tunneled or camped because no BT or DS, that's their fault for being bad? Like I said, survivors are running these perks because of killer tactics. Also another SWF complaint...pretty sure they said in the last dev stream it's a very similar surviving rate between SWF and Solo Queuing.

Your comment about pallets being reduced made me not want to read afterwards. The only map where pallets were reduced is Nurse's map.
Oh, and complaining about overused perks, hmmm, seems familiar. Get over it and play the game.
Another person that doesn't understand the games logic. Sure they may not have went in a purposely removed pallets, but they shrunk down the maps, each map has rng algorithms to determine where to spawn windows and pallets...now the maps are smaller, less pallets/windows are spawning where they're supposed to :/

Sounds like xbox players are just bad lmafo.Just look up a hand full of the top doctor builds and you'll see for yourself its rarely used.Survivors dont have op perks? ok kid keep telling yourself that getting off the hook, recovering from being down, stunning people from getting picked up and getting god loops because of perks aint good lol. Also some dude just posted that he kept track over 40 games of the amount of ds's and it was 31/40 and on top of that look at any tier list ds is always in s or a but you the god of x box knows the only truth that ds isnt op also anti tactic perks what a joke.
How exactly is running situational single use perks OP? Imagine survivors having to force themselves to run unbreakable that they can only use once a game because they get slugged every game or a Killer who tunnels so DS is activated..."God loops because of perks" LOL what am i even reading here, you clearly don't even play the game, just sit on the forums and see through everyone else experiences and not actually your own. Come back when you actually play the game instead of living through it via the community. Xbox players just bad because they don't run the same perk as other players, that's a legitimate statement if i've ever read one...jesus christ, didn't know people could be this dumb. So explain to me how these perks aren't Anti-Tactic perks instead of saying "what a joke" because you clearly have no valid argument back to that because that's ALL they are.

Because being at rank 1 anymore is as meaningful as confetti.
Survivors control the single most important aspect of the killer's game... How much time he has. The killer can only ever be in one place at a time. Survivors don't even need perks to guarantee a 3 escape vs all but the upper end of killers if they understand the game. You get 4 guys who really know the game, put em in a squad with no perks and no comms, and they'll be able to dominate 90% of the killer's they encounter.
I'm sure you know how to run loops, but the liany of complaints in your original post makes me think you have a very shallow understanding of the game.
Sure, solo queue is rough. It's always going to be tougher than swf. Lots of them complain incessantly about bbq, thana, and noed. If they spent that time trying to really understand the game, everyone's solo life would be vastly improved.
Again people think I don't understand the game with 0 reasoning to back up that statement other than trying to make themselves look like know it alls and the person taking time to make a thread with clear valid statements from experiences and could even go to the length of showing proof if they were that concerned that I don't understand the game. You thinking 4 randoms with no comms and no perks can bully a killer...so now you're basing your knowledge from theorizing. Also saying Survivors control the killers time is ludicrous when Killers can sit and proxy, camp survivors, forcing other survivors away to help them because most of the time if a killer is camping 2 survivors are going to have to help unless you want the next person to be slugged then the person unhooked tunneled. Again it's down to killers who control the game because of their playstyle. If killers really thinking Survivors have a power role, you're delusional.

Facts are facts and they don't care about your experience. Devs have confirmed that pallets haven't been removed. You're just noticing the rng because you're looking for it. Even before the changes, I've been on gas heaven and the middle was a complete dead zone.
I was on pale rose with wraith and counted every pallet, had 7 total. It's just rng.
I mean I play the game 4-6 hours maybe 4 times a week. I guess I'm not going to notice these things? I'm not looking for anything. I'm talking from experience. I've loaded onto Ormond countless times, never seen it not spawn a single pallet in main building. Not downstairs or upstairs. Spiringwood had always spawned 4/5 pallets at the school, now only has 3...it's probably likely with map shrinkage that the rng was altered, therefore pallets were altered in accordance with the tile spacing.

they're bad doctors then. i main doctor and i rarely use distressing and i just looked up builds for him right now and only 1 out of the 6 ran distressing and they said there were building him as i stated in my first comment also its easy to tier up someones madness just during a chase no need to waste a perk or your 1 min cooldown for such, then you said you have 10 different kind of effects on them thats only if the doctor is running the red king add on that only adds like 4 different things so calm down. "Also you do realize the only reason survivors run those perks is because of the way Killers play? " oh dont give me that bullshit thats the lamest argument ever, you could just turn that around for killer aka the only reason i run forever freddy is because survivor op perks.
I wasn't being literal when I said 10. This is why i didn't bother to state them all because I don't have time to argue with people who clearly have no idea what the hell they're talking about on the game. Just saying 8/10 Docs on Xbox run Distressing. Survivors don't have OP perks...DS is not Overpowered. How easy it is for Killers right now and they still complaining about DS & BT is laughable. DS, BT & Unbreakable are 100% Anti-Tactic perks, simple as that...they only work in certain situations, if BBQ really prevented people from camping, then majority of the time they wouldn't have to deal with DS & BT. They're there because Killer decide to play scummy, I wonder what the Kill Rate is against survivors who run DS, probably the exact same as someone who doesn't run it. Most killers just looking for excuses and it's a fact. How killers can even be struggling to get less than 2 kills a game right now if baffling to me.

"I'm a rank 1 survivor"
Yeah, these days, so is everyone else who can play a few days a week.
Actual good Survivors know exactly where most of the power lies, and it ain't with killers.
Who in their right mind would balance a pvp game for the bronze tier players rather than the upper echelons? A big reason human beings play game to begin with is to actually improve themselves at the skills the game uses.
Pvp games are for challenging yourself. Party games are for doing repetitive tasks over and over with friends.
So what is wrong with saying i'm a rank 1 survivor. Just saying I play good enough to be at Rank 1 solo majority of the time, I know how to loop etc..."Actual good players know where the power lies"...so how are Survivors the power role & you really can't say the perks...

You're upset right now and not being reasonable. Check the patch notes, only disturbed ward had pallet changes. All the rest are just rng, like always.
Upset? Also I've played nearly every map since the update. There's no way Disturbed Ward was the only map to have pallets removed. Just going from experience being totally reasonable...every map i've noticed pallets were removed where they always would spawn one.

Ok, all anything else, but how so it makes fair for survivors to ask for a nerf to the Myers? He is the best killer in the game from both points of view.
Also, there are survivors, who actually ask for a nerf to the Bubba and Clown... TO THE ######### BUBBA AND CLOWN!
I like Myers more or less the way he is, maybe a few add on changes would be okay but I don't have any issues with him. Most survivors want a bubba nerf because of hook camping one shotting everyone coming close which i understand but again, i don't see an issue with him or the Clown.

Noob played bad in that video, plus I'm nowhere near his quality and rarely die on the new maps. On top of that, I play a lot of killer and trust me, I miss 95% of the vault hits that I used to get.
They didn't remove any pallets on the changes, they should have, but didn't. Take some time to learn the new loops and you will see that a lot of them were buffs.
"They didn't remove any pallets on the new changes?" You serious? In front of Gas Heaven your lucky to get 2 pallets spawn, they removed the one at the back and they even sometimes close the whole back off. That's just for one map. Ormond I played main building and there wasn't a single pallet that spawned in it.

it's a game that is 4v1 of course there's going to be less Killers than survivors playing the game...wow. Personally i play survivor because i prefer third person views, just the what i enjoy more...? Also I said "Yous" as in meaning Killers but ok.

And nurses calling, the perk that only works if you leave everyone injured... thats alotta failed chases lol.
Awe man they changed like 4 maps to help game breaking loops guess its all over for you man.
Except the fact that killers statically loose almost 80% of the time but stats don't matter i guess
Just venting I see, but don't open with killers cant argue open with "im just venting my feelings"
Not venting feelings. I'm stating a fact. Killers legit can't be asking for survivor nerfs the way the game is right now. As for everything else you said, literally makes 0 sense. Someone get's unhooked they're injured...they go look for a heal, usually next to a gen, easy enough to find because of nurses, sloppy and thanataphobia making heals take a lot longer...no doubt by the time the killer gets there both survivors are now injured, one gets slugged then the other gets chased and downed too because it's a easy down...

survivors still have the best perks in the game hands down. iron will gives your cries 100% harder to hear while strider only does makes it 50% easier to hear.Distressing doc sucks its a waste of a perk unless you're running unnerving and overcharge, also its no where near what bbq does. OH NO the killer can see me heal while good thing i have bt,ds,unbreakable, iron will.
Distressing is run on nearly every Doc i play against so it's obviously not a waste when it tiers up survivors madness levels which reveals their location and also makes them have 10 different kinds of effects on them...backwards skill checks, fake pallets etc etc...
Also you do realize the only reason survivors run those perks is because of the way Killers play? I don't run DS I prefer more fun builds, I shouldn't force myself to run perks just because of a way a killer is playing the game...

I played a Myers game in red ranks the other day, i've never felt so relaxed on killing people in this game. Yous have it easy yet yous still insist on survivor nerfs, interesting

I don't know what you're talking about with the window vaults. They buffed the living dog dookie out of them. Watch the latest noob3 video, these map changes were far from a nerf.
"Latest N00b3 video" dude, not every survivor plays like Noob3...granted I may be good at the game but i ain't gonna pretend i'm that good and most survivors won't be that good. Even with running Resilience and Spine Chill i'm getting hit way over windows. They weren't just map changes you can't see them like that, with shrunken down maps every perk works differently either being more or less effective. Then removing pallets and certain window vaults is even more nerfs? So how is it not a NERF?

I could complain about the amount of information killers get in the pre game lobby but there is only one thing that really bothers me. I don’t understand why killers are able to see our usernames in the lobby. I’ve had killers message me beforehand talking crap before the match even starts, also have had killers who clearly recognize me and bring a mori or face camp me. I don’t play toxic but I play this game so much that some killers aren’t gonna like me because I escaped in a previous match. I wish there was an option to hide your username or something, I am on PS4 and feel forced to change my username once in a while because of this.
I know I can turn my messages off but that doesn’t stop killers from treating me different in game.
they should, very good idea the amount of times i've been Stream sniped and camped and tunneled for having YT in my name is insane. Guess that's my own fault...it was even worse when i used to have ttv in my name, Mori's galore.

That would be awesome, if it was cross-save and cross play, i'd hop on my PC and play it because the game looks awful on the Xbox One X compared to my PC

It's great, a few times there's been some weird stuff, maybe like a ping spike where i'll see someone get downed from 20 yards away but having 38 ping a game is much better than the 150ms i'd get on a killer. Let's hope we can get crossplay next!

I agree, they need a nerf. but removing them isn't the way to go about this. the devs spent a lot of time animating them and thinking of an idea for one that isn't "slash slash they dead" (except for trapper and wraith) and removing that regards all that time as pointless. I personally think it should be either "after everyone has been hooked once, they can be moried." or "if they've been hooked once they can be moried AFTER all the gens have been completed". that makes them not necessarily unfair, makes endgame builds worth something for once, and even provides some possible downsides to killers (eg, having to decide to hook them again and risk a hook-suicide or let them go complete gens so you can mori them).
I don't mean remove them, just the way they are right now is broken...i'd even settle for maybe requiring 2 survivors hooked for them to be activated. While they look cool, it's boring as hell when i'm queuing for games and dying immediately

Wooo! I was literally thinking most of these things and hoping other people felt the same. Minor changes would be nice but the only thing that really makes the game not fun for me is the taunting and really angry people. The game is fun, even if I didn’t get any kills I got better at guessing a hatchet throw or finally pulled off a mind gaming trick or I finally looped a killer for more than a minute or I saved people 3 times in a row. Whether I die or don’t kill anyone I can focus on the things I improved on and have fun.
People just get too competitive in a game that isn't competitive and I agree even if I die as survivor I'm glad I had a little fun running with the killer in a chase but yeah the tbagging and stuff is pretty bad, I've let people have the hatch and stuff before and they're they tbagging, I will only tbag a killer that is playing toxic hitting people on the hook etc...tit for tat. People just need to start taking positives out of the game instead of being negative and angry

I assume you're talking about player levels? Player levels award Iridescent Shards already.
Anyway, a kind of milestones system or BPs for finishing achievements wouldn't be a bad idea, but that has a lot of overlap with the Tomes system and as more and more Tomes get added it's essentially going to become this idea anyway.
problem with the Tome is it's annoying challenges for barely any reward, I grew up playing Games like Gears of War 3 where you had the Onyx medal system which is essentially a milestone system for rewards. I think it's more enjoyable progression system and gives the players something to work towards, nothing to say you couldn't have the Archives as well as a Milestone system

Been playing Red Rank killer all day, i usually play survivor. My god I turned my messages on for about 5 games and all i got was people moaning at me, when if it was the other way around and they got out they would legit teabag and flashlight flick. Sorry but people need to just get on with the game, you escape, you get kills, you don't alll make it out and everyone makes it out. Every game is different with majority of the time a different killer and a different map. I really don't get why people are so bothered by certain killers play styles. Sure it's annoying if they camp tunnel etc...but it's equally more annoying for a killer when gens are getting rushed when you haven't landed you first hit on a god loop map like Autohaven. Survivors imo just want bottlefed victories and just sit on a gen, while the killers just want easy kills or they moan too. People just got to try and learn that everything can't go their way and should just move onto the next game where you might win or not :s. Everyone has a valid argument and there is for sure annoying things about this game on both sides of the coin, just wait for them to balance it and make it more fun for everyone, so survivors aren't getting insta killed by moris and killers can relax abit more while trying to get kills too.

Yeah seriously, cross-save and cross-play needs to become a thing so i can go play PC and not have anymore of these terrible issues -.- I play on the one x too and that struggles, developers just seem to struggle to code optimizations for the Xbox. Apex is the same in certain parts of the map. Unless it's a inhouse game like Gears, no one can make a stable game
-
I made a post about the Xbox last night. It's pretty much unplayable sometimes. Errors, Bugs, Hitches, Frame-Drops & Freezing is all over the game on Xbox. Feels like a Open Beta. Not sure how half the people don't even see these issues have clearly not witnessed the game on PC or played a game higher that 30fps.

It's the game. I have almost 3k hours on Xbox. I've played on an OG Xbox One and Xbox One X (currently). Things got slightly better when I switched to the X but a lot of stuff is still there. Here is a list...
1) The game suffers a massive lag spike anytime a notification pops up. Any Hex or perk activation makes everyone, killer and survivor, suffer frame drops. Getting bloodlust as killer causes frame drops. Using your power as some killers (Hag, Doc, falling asleep V Freddy) causes frame drops. The most egregious offender here is Sloppy Butcher, as it will lag the game for a full 3 seconds sometimes when you get hit.
2) Going off #1, opening a chest causes frame drops for all players. This can actually kill survivors on a hook in phase 2, as it interrupts their struggle and the game thinks they let go.
3) Matchmaking is completely busted. As survivor you can wait AGES for a game, when I know for a fact there are plenty of killers playing at the time. As killer I find games almost instantly. Ranks are all over the place, it's as if they aren't even considered. I get green rank killers as rank 1 survivor, and rank 18's as red rank killer, regularly. You could argue there aren't many killers online, but the problem was the exact opposite about a year ago. It would take me 5-10 minutes to find a game as killer, and less than a minute as survivor. After the update last March things switched overnight, and have steadily been getting worse since.
4) The game crashes constantly or boots you from games for no reason. I was playing in a 4 man, my friend searched a chest as I was disarming a trap (Trapper) and when she finished searching the chest it booted both of us from the game as if the killer quit. We only knew they didn't quit because our 2 other friends were still in the game and told us.
5) Going off #4 we regularly have to restart the game after a match because the SWF lobby gets bugged and shows people not ready or in a game when they are in the lobby and ready on their screen.
The game is a mess on Xbox right now. And there is ABSOLUTELY no excuse for the poor frame rate or frame drops. NONE. My Xbox One X is probably more powerful than most PC's on the market. I can play Gears 4/5 at 4k resolution and 60fps with no issue. I got DOOM Eternal and that game runs butter smooth at 60fps despite there being a ton of stuff happening, with really good graphics and lots of effects. Never did the game hitch or drop frames during the entire campaign, even with 15 enemies on the screen and me moving at 100 MPH around glory killing everything.
I have frame rate issues with Borderlands 3 as well. Even the new Ori game has some kind of frame rate issue, I think that one's a memory leak though because it gets worse the longer your play session. But this isn't because on my console, it's because the developers failed to optimize the game. It seems no one outside id or The Coalition know how to make a game run smoothly on Xbox. Or, more likely, they simply do not care enough to make sure it runs properly because they think they can just port the game to console, do the bare minimum needed for it to run and play well, and call it a day.
You can also tell no one at these companies play their games on console because of how controls are set up. This is one area that bothered me with DOOM Eternal, as the game requires constant movement yet the base controls are not bumper jumper. Anyone who actually plays shooting games on console would realize this as a necessity in the first 60 seconds of playing the game. I will give id credit though, the game runs amazingly well on Xbox, and you can customize controls so I guess I can't complain about this too much. But it's very common for any game that was basically ported from PC to have sub-optimal control layouts for the base controls. DBD is the same thing, though I've been playing with a custom layout since day 1 so I can't even for the life of me remember what the base control scheme is. All I know is that it sucks balls if you actually intend to play the game with some level of optimization and skill. Everyone I know set up their own controls different from the base, which just proves how sub-optimal the base layout is and how little effort the developers actually put into making the game on console.
The problems on Xbox are 100% the developers not giving a #########, because the console (even the base model) can definitely handle the game at 60 fps. Both Gears of War and DOOM Eternal are way WAY more graphically intensive than DBD, yet they both run amazing while DBD plays like a stop motion Tim Burton film a lot of the time.
You pretty much sumed up every issue on Xbox. I've done so many complaints and bug reports about these issues and had 0 response from BHVR. Part of me wishes Microsoft buy the company or something just to make them get their ######### together. It's not the only game with annoying frame-drops. Games like Apex, CoD Warzone etc...all happen, difference is they're graphically gorgeous where this game looks like a potato and runs like a potato. Seems to me they don't care and just want the next quick money maker, that being cosmetics and chapter updates.

I'm having nothing but issues on this game on the XB1X...I don't expect a 4k 60fps gameplay experience but if you can't even optimize the game to run at a steady 1080p60 on "the worlds most powerful console" with the Unreal Engine (piss easy engine for hardward to run) then i don't know what the hell they're doing.
Still no dedicated servers when they got turned off over a month ago because they were so garbage.
Now i just put up with lobby errors and being dodged every time i load into a game so i'm lucky to get 2 games an hour as Survivor.
Hate playing Killer for the simple fact Demogorgon stutters on pretty much every map. God help you if you get Red Forest or the new Lery's.

Interesting.
I am experiencing none of these issues on Xbox and I stream this game daily. In fact, my viewers and I noticed a sharp increase in framerate after the last update.
I have noticed, however, that after about 6-8 hours of running the game, it does start to suffer a little performance wise. The menus lag and my framerate becomes sluggish. I just restart the game and its all good from there. :)
You play killer or solo? Most of the time when i'm playing solo or as killer i don't have to restart my game for like you said 6-8 hours. When i start to hover over stuff in the bloodwebb and just has those little freezes is when you know it get's bad. But it's maily when i try to play with viewers and stuff I start having issues with lobbies, but this past week the game has been so frustrating to play with lag & maybe it's with my ISP for more households being home due to the Coronavirus so more people online. I don't know but it really felt like most of it started on last weeks update. It was also only 5 bug glitches in the last update they never said any optimizations, strange

Yeah on Xbox constantly getting kicked from lobby when i ready up or if i load into the game i DC from host apparently.

Ok so I have talked about this two other times but the devs never really seemed to listen. I was nice being respectful and all that crap but now up I’m just pissed. Ok so dbd on switch is utterly broken the que times are over the roof for killer and surrvivors but that’s not even the best part of it yet. Once you get into the match someone either dcs during loading or three other dc during the games and the worst part is over half my games I have been in it has kicked me from the game saying the killer and I had disconnected and then gives me a penalty if you want proof I will give you proof but y’all are forgetting about switch even more than you have forgotten about Xbox. So @Peanits please fix this because this is my third time talking about this subject and I didn’t buy this game to wait 30 minutes to get a game and then go right back to waiting for a lobby after the penalty expires.
Feel like Xbox & Switch guys don't matter as long as the PC fanbase is happy.

This is just one of my clips of what i'm talking about with the freezing issue, also getting pulled back towards the window after my animation is complete. Other times i've been frozen are getting hooked, unhooked, getting picked up, sometimes on skillchecks.

The main issue I face on Xbox is the slow camera speed for killers. If survivors do this weird "wiggle" or literally just turn around and run toward you it makes you miss a lot of the time. You can even feel the "aim dressing", or whatever made up term we're using for aim assist, pull the camera to try and keep up. You see the survivor basically touching you and the weapon swing right where they are but it whiffs and the camera shakes.
yeah it is easier to get 360'd on Xbox that's for sure, i think they said 2 or 3 dev streams ago they were working on adding new sensitivity options

Can you explain more? Has something happened in the last few hours?
i've done numerous amount of bug reports and stuff, never get responded to. Ever since last update, completely random lag spikes, kicking me out of the game (never happened prior update). Terrible framerate issues (playing on a One x) EG. Vaulting a window pulls me back 2 yards everytime, using Exhaustion perk freezes the game, I got completely froze earlier trying to jump through a window...that's just the beginning don't even get me started with the buggy lobby system where i can't play with my friend due to constant errors and having to restart the game 5 times to get it to work.
Yet we still don't have dedicated servers back and maybe they have been testing them out since last update and if they have well good luck with that because it's minimum 150ms ping every game compared to usual 50-70 on P2P connections.
Don't even get me started on trying to play Demo & Freddy on certain maps without my xbox looking like it's going to blow up with it's 15 fps...
I mean I, like everyone paid a lot of money towards this game with countless hours put into it, it's been out for 4 years now? Still feels like a Open Beta.

How so? I cant think of a killer, that if played correctly, that needs a buff
I think Demogorgon needs a buff/rework, i feel like some killers need nerfs instead of buffs, Doc & Freddy for example are Ez mode when playing as Killer right now, from my experience.

If they can rework maps to make every single gen only solo/duo repairable then hopefully it can make more killers feel relaxing to play. I do wholeheartly agree with you on this whole topic though.
Exactly, like Lery's and Hawkins only allow sometimes 1 person on a generator for the way it's designed, it's the way it should be on all maps

People can come to the forums and chorus that maps are the problem, not gens, all they want. However, it is far more fesible that Bhvr could tweak some numbers on gens instead of sticking to the "adjust one map every 6-8 months" plan.
This is a long term solution rather than short-term but yeah I get it. The only gen slow down i can accept is maximum of 2 people on a generator and remove the lights from the top and make them harder to find like on the indoor maps...

Yeah my response was well edited, grammatically correct, and coherently presented, so pretending it was stupid is just you being a defensive little ######### frankly.
Not gonna bother with a big long response because most of your response comes down to "nuh uh, that never happens to me". Uh huh, sure bud, you're the god of all things killer and we just have to bask in your greatness. But don't pretend your survivor bias doesn't show on a routine basis here.
I had to list some of my favorite examples though.
"Not sure why Keys are such a issue but i've never had a issue with Keys in the game."
OH what a shock, the guy who's clearly a survivor main doesn't think being able to let an entire team escape before the gens are completed isn't broken? What a surprise. Not to mention survivors get rewarded with pips for using keys and escaping, while killers often get stuck with safety pips if Mori's are used as the amount of hooks will tank the devout score.
But yeah, Mori's too op, but keys aren't a problem, omegalul.
"I believe in making my killer stronger throughout the game rather than trying to slow the gens down and bore the survivors out of the game with slow gen speeds, this is why I'll always run FUN perks instead of ones that just bore the game for everyone. Honestly it's so cringe seeing Red rank killers running nothing but gen slow down speeds and still only getting like one killer because they really must be that bad at the game."
Your perks that you suggested do nothing to increase your killers power, NONE.
Do the math, 80 seconds to a generator. Let's be generous and say all survivors are injured (unlikely unless something like Legion or Plague) a 16% penalty would only increase a generator completion time by a whopping......12 seconds.
You call THAT an increase in power?
Dying Light is even dumber. 3% stacking is adding 2.4 seconds to generator time, on each hook, by the time Dying light is doing anything you've killed survivors and won the game anyway.
And a thousand apologies your highness, us mere mortals have to run generator regression perks because unlike his holiness we have to deal with actual optimal survivors on a routine basis and generator regression is a part of red rank play. Just cause you want to pretend you are too good to use those meta perks us plebes use doesn't change the facts on the ground.
just another typical killer main reply, can't help but try and pick faults with someone who plays both sides of the game opinion, statement and gamestyle. Sorry i'm not running meta perks and that i'm enjoying the game for not running meta perks.
Yeah i play killer and yeah i've seen people escape with the key and sure a key can wallhack but then there's killers that can see through walls too so tit-for-tat really...
Also "your perks don't increase your killers power"...starting to think you can't get passed rank 10 as killer...Fire Up makes you Vault, Pick Up, Damage faster the more generators get done, therefor making your killer more powerful...same with Save The Best For Last, stack to 9, extremely quick for weapon cleaning, sorry that you don't understand how these perks work...but yeah news flash, they make your killer more powerful as the game goes on...combine these with something like Devour Hope and GL to the survivors...I also didn't say Dying Light increased the power of the Killer i said my perks did...smh
Also make your mind up i'm either royalty or holy. But yeah i'm not pretending i'm above you all for not running gen slow down perks, i'm saying the game is just more boring for everyone if it's just slow gen speeds and nothing else happening.

So first off, if you did a search on this topic, this has been brought up a million times already, and yes, most people have pointed to map size being the culprit along with the gutting of Hex: Ruin. This isn't some new revelation.
Second, you're not even accurately describing the problem, which honestly makes me question your killer rank to be honest, and makes it feel like you just said it so you wouldn't get the "survivor main" accusation. Because frankly I'm not sure how you hit rank 6 only playing "killer for challenges". The issue is not "gen speeds", it's specifically 1-2 generators popping in the first 1-2 minutes of the game, usually when the killer has probably only downed and hooked 1-2 times at best. There have often been times where I got a locker grab in the first 35 seconds, and after hooking I STILL saw a generator pop.
Once the first 1-2 generators are popped, the game usually slows down at this point as the killer has gotten a few downs and hooks and started to pressure, however it still feels like a losing war of attrition for many because the killer gets put on the back foot so hard thanks to the early game.
As far as your perk suggestion, quite frankly they don't fix the problem nor are they particularly good perks for generator slowdown. Dying Light is a paltry 3% stacking regression penalty that will do nothing to stop the early game generators popping, and Thanatophobia requires multiple injuries and again, will do nothing to stop the early game generator speeds, maybe good on a killer like Legion, but he's a terrible killer anyway so who cares.
And no, most killer mains are not asking for generator speeds to be longer, most of us are asking for exactly what you pointed out, generator spawns on maps and maps in general not being so effing huge so we can in fact "just pressure the gens bro".
A generic statement like "killers aren't weak" says nothing and is arguably objectively wrong in a lot of examples. Clown and Legion are just two examples of very weak killers at this juncture.
"But you can literally one shot a survivor with like half of the killers in this game"
And there went your killer credibility. One shot abilities that are not addon related include.
- Billy and Bubba's Chainsaws
- Ghostface with full Stalk
- Myers at EW3
- Oni when his power is active
That's four out of 19. I can be generous and pump it to six with Iridescent Head and Redhead's pinky finger. But not only is that significantly less than half (more like a third) all of those abilities have counterplay. Hillbilly and Bubba can be juked, Ghostface has to get a full stalk off, Myers has to stalk to EW3 and even then can still be looped, and Oni needs blood to use his power and then use his dash effectively which can be neutralized by tight corners.
And oh look, more complaining about Mori's while we conveniently ignore keys, better tuck that bias in, it's starting to show.
As far as your recommended build, I refuse to believe you aren't getting absolutely gen rushed when you run literally no generator regression perks. No corrupt intervention, no ruin, no pop goes the weasel, please. Also seems odd you would recommend dying light and thanatophobia to high heaven and then not run them in your build? My guess is you read some tooltips and thought "well why don't killers run these", the answer is many of us have tried them, and they are not effective for the problem.
For a Start I never said it was any new "revelation"...I'm saying what I'm reading on the forums which is people complaining about Gen Speeds, so instead of replying to all these posts, i thought i'd outright say it.
Second, I do challenges & archives as Killers...I used to be Rank 1 Killer got rank reset to 10, then got to rank 6 stopped playing then Rank reset again to Rank 9, then back to 6 again...got plenty of proof playing Killer at rank 6 if it bothers you that much with your attempt to give me no credibility for saying anything about this issue. I also only said I play Rank 6 killer to show that I have understanding of the game, if I wanted to go to Rank 1 i'd have no issue doing it. It's just a fact I don't play killer enough to do so.
Thirdly, what is the issue with having 1 generator pop at the start if you've got a hook? So now you're saying the Killer needs a hook before anything else happens? I have never seen a case of having 2 generators pop on me with only 1 hook...if it bothers people that much run something like Corrupt..."but survivors hide from Corrupt"...sorry but Killers can't have it all their own way like that...the only case where 2 generators might pop at the start of the game is a SWF team.
As for you saying the killer feels it's a losing war of attrition after the first 2 generators are popped, well no not really because it's less generators to check if you really want to play a generator game and usually if 2 gens are popped they're usually on the same side of the map which then shrinks the whole maps gameplay, sure you'll get the Survivors trying to run you to the pointless areas of the map where you can't really gen pressure but more fool you for falling for it. But again, never had a issue with gen rushing. So i think the 1-2 generators completed in 2 minutes or while the person get's one hook is wildly exaggerated.
For you saying Killer mains aren't asking for gen speed nerfs, just search the forums and see how many posts there actually is.
Also you trying to correct me with the amount of killers that can one shot in the game...it doesn't matter if they're addon dependant or not, add ons are part of the game and it's a way people play and it is their for an option to become a more powerful killer. Literally don't see why people complain about killers being add-ons dependant when the whole point of addons is so Killers can win the game easier. Oh wait, is that not why addons are in the game? Or are they there to just look at...also take note i said "like half of the Killers" didn't exactly wanna sit and count how many can one shot with addons or not, just off the top of my head i said around half pretty sure about 8 of them can one shot with addons or not and there is only 19 killers so yeah I think around 8 is "Like half"....
I will complain about Mori's because they're broken, while fun for the killer, not so fun for a survivor who has just waited 20 minutes to get into a game to die in 2 minutes because they get tunnelled. Not sure why Keys are such a issue but i've never had a issue with Keys in the game. Also not being bias because if i wanted to have a dig at killer mains i'd upright do it. I'm saying I play both and never come across any of these issues most people are having and i'm starting to wonder if it has something to do with their skill level or they're hoping if they spit their dummies out that bhvr will come along and hold their hands for them to get ez 4k's.
I believe in making my killer stronger throughout the game rather than trying to slow the gens down and bore the survivors out of the game with slow gen speeds, this is why I'll always run FUN perks instead of ones that just bore the game for everyone. Honestly it's so cringe seeing Red rank killers running nothing but gen slow down speeds and still only getting like one kill because they really must be that bad at the game.
