You don't get 25-30k for tunneling. It's an auto depip after level 12. End of story. If you're having tunnelers, your rank 12-20, and your opinion is moot.

I mean you can go to my YT channel and see that i'm not a rank 12-20...what a pathetic comment.

As long as the game remain poor balance with killers nerf, DS, OoO, and Gen rush I will continue to camp every survivor no matter that the opinion survivors, my decision has become personal such as football, politics, video game wars etc.

And if someone insults me in the chat I report it.

"Game poor Balance" .... 50 Million Sacrificed Survivors vs 6.7 million Escapes...yep totally underbalanced...

  • @kolosovski said:

This is indeed a common issue. Undying + ruin combo has given killer a bit more time to chase during a match, but ultimately does not address camp or tunelling problems. I feel that at this point changing the hook system would make it even harder for new killers but I'd be curious to see a system where once hooked, the survivor goes to a random or semi random hook on the map away from all other players as possible, similar to how Pyramid Head cages work. Unlikely, but one can dream.

Not to mention how close together hooks are lately...trying to run stuff like breakout and actually try and do a fun build is annoying because there's a hook 5 yards away from the one you just sobo'd

i hate when survivors complain everyday

Its a forum people are allowed their opinion...everyone complains because they see issues with the game...if you don't like it don't come on a forum.

  • @TheWarNung said:

I've seen several console players who have TTV in their names. I even know of some PC streamers who occasionally play on console (or with a gamepad on their PC). All you can really say for certain is that they're not on the same console as you.

But sure, generalize PC players. According to you we camp/slug/tunnel the same survivor all game and still get a 3k with 25-30k BP. We're just super scummy like that.

You can't put / in your name on console...hence why I put /ttv

  • @Dead_by_Gadfly said:

Go play killer, get to r1 without ever camping or tunneling. I dare you. Show us how God like you are

I've shown it to my viewers...it's not hard, especially with Freddy...lol

  • @TheWarNung said:

So... you're saying that it's mainly PC killers who are camping and tunnelling, but the way you identify them as PC killers is by seeing if they camp and tunnel? That thar is what we call a logical fallacy. As a PC player allow me to assure you that I have not been seeing the same trend as you. I'm not throwing shade on console players either; the killers playing scummy are the ones on any platform who are just lower skilled.

Also, as a killer main I can plainly state that you do not get 30k BP for focusing on a single survivor. With most killers you'll have to get around 10 hooks to score that high.

They all have /ttv in their name or literally have like 4 letter names that you could pretty much only get on steam and how fast they spin etc it's obvious they're on pc so that's not how i identify them. But yet to see an actual good pc killer that I can say I had fun against and outplayed me because they seem to all have the same playstyle...

  • @Clevite said:

I understand how frustrating camping/tunneling can be. Although camping doesn't bother me as much as there are ways around it. Tunneling annoys me more, but I do understand it, and as others have stated, the counter to tunneling is good looping.

My question would be what do you suggest killers do in the current meta? Gennys can go so fast, so the tactics that killers use have changed, if they indeed want to try to pip.

So here is a question for survivors, even tho many won't answer it.

Would you accept 6 gennys needed to open exit gates if camping/tunneling could be completely eliminated?

I mean ruin and undying is a thing right now, just saying when I play killer I literally have no no problem getting 2/3/4 kills a game by actually trying to play the game. I wouldn't be bothered if I actually got some decent rewards for doing the objective and didn't depip...

  • @finitethrills said:

When you have a hardcore camper, you maximize your points by pounding out gens and moving on to a new round. The poor guy on the hook gets to move on a couple minutes sooner.

You can go ahead and keep feeding Campers points and kills, but don't expect to face FEWER Campers doing it.

It's a lot more fair to make sure that killer doesn't get a 4k and 30k points for camping than it is to leave one dude to die on a hook.

Yeah and that's all good but this is my problem why am I losing pipe and getting barely any bloodpoint just because a killer can't be bothered to play the game? It should effect my rank...I guess I wouldn't be bothered if I didn't depip when I escape...which literally make no sense

  • @finitethrills said:

If the killer got 25-30k points while camping and tunneling, that means bad Survivors are feeding a killer who is using generally suboptimal strats... except, in this case, he's using optimal ones because his Survivors keep rewarding it.

But this is the problem, in order to actually get some decent points, survivors need to get some unhooks and heals etc...and it's not fair on the person getting left on the hook either...so it's not survivors playing bad because they aren't forcing themselves to run Borrowed Time...it's Killer literally having no incentive to do anything but take 1 person out of the game...have you seem how bad of a penalty a survivor gets for a unsafe unhook even if they take protection hits for it?...

  • @Onyx_Blue said:

    Ruin + Undying + Tinkerer

Slap this on a killer, particularly a high mobility one, and you got yourself the most boosted player you will ever see.

These players do not know what pressure is to save their life. You can feed their build and try to cleanse totems to get rid of their perks, or you can just get a gen high progressed and lead them away, go back to it when they leave you (because they will) and bam, the player is exposed as the bot they are. The fact this is a build to vs almost every game is ridiculous. The calibre of player skill level in dbd is utter garbage XD this builds proves it to be that way.

The fact people think this game is survivor sided still is laughable...sure Swf sided it may be but as someone who never plays on coms it's definitely not...how do we have time to literally run around cleansing all totems while most killers now try and tunnel one person....chases don't last long anymore because most loops are nerfed to the ground or you get killers who 1 shot or can 2 hit pretty instant.

Then if you manage to agro the killer off the person getting tunnelled then it's just enough time to may be get gens done....oh what's that? NOED.

Then if you cleanse noed and undying is still up you have to spend more time cleansing that...

Playing killer requires next to no skill and literally are rewarded with mountains of bp's it's stuoid.

As long as killers keep having 20k+ bps every game this game is never survivor sided.

What i say is the game is SWF sided. It's not survivor sided...The killer always has all the control with the amount of BP's, great addons and offerings yous get. You can play bad as killer and still end up with nearly 20k...you can play almost a perfect game as survivor and just barely get 24k...

You're saying breaking hooks/using perk to help a survivor who's in the killers arm are ######### yet it's not true at all. You're complaining about killer's lunges (hag) when freddy or myers T3 have way bigger lunges. Hag attack with her bare hands that's probably why you think she have a huge lunge. Grab are usually in the survivor's favor; it's not rare for a killer to start the animation for grabbing but no instead you hit (especially on gen and chest).

"Rotten Fields is not survivor sided you have so far to run before you can get to a tile." The fact that it's so huge make it survivor sided; Pretty much all killer beside Nurse, Spirit, Billy and Freddy can't apply pressure because of that. Myers and GF can barely stalk because of the corn, most gens are right next to a tile with two right beside a god loop.

What you're complaining/saying show a lack of knowledge about the game hence why it give me the impression that you're not that good.

"Playing Killer isn't hard at all. I got to Rank 1 in 2 weeks playing against ALOT of SWF's and what not...it's laughable to think people believe playing Killer is hard.." That is questionable at best and a lie at worst.

But hey, I'll stop right there because Mr. get triggered because other have different opinion and suggest that he might not be that good because he's completely wrong on some stuff (like Rotten Field) or complain about killer gaining bloodlust on unsafe pallet isn't fair.

Go watch some TrU3Ta1ent and you'll see how wrong you are about rotten field, or breaking hooks etc.

They are bad perks because they're very situational based perks. Most perks have to be combined with 2 for them to even be effective. Breakout literally sucks if you don't run Dead Hard, MoM or even Saboteur/Toolbox. Rotten Field is not that big of map anymore...every time i've played Bubba, Doc or Killers like that i've managed to get 3 or 4 kills because aside from a few loops around the edges it's hard to even combine tiles to run a killer on and a smart killer on that map can easily force Survivors in 3 gen situations. There's barely any god loops on that map.

Believe what you will, people have watched me get to rank 1 in 2 weeks on my streams but okay stop thinking you're above everyone else.

Why would i go watch TrU3Ta1ent when i can literally play the game and have my own experiences and I can see for myself the problems that are in the game. Literally everyone only thinks that what streamers say/do in the game is the definitive.

"Mr Get Triggered"...I'm not triggered but it's incredibly rude to try and knock someones skill when you haven't seen them play or fail to even try and experience their issue with the game for yourself.

  • @CheyeneKL said:

It honestly sounds like lag on the killer's end. I can't count the amount of times I've got hit by some BS. If your feet touch the ground on the other side of a vault... there is NO WAY that you should be getting grabbed. It's always lag in that case. And unfortunately, the way the game currently works, killer hits, grabs, etc., are ALWAYS prioritized no matter what you see on your screen with very low ping internet. It isn't usually this bad, but I've had several games where I've gotten hit by a completely invisible killer LOL

And don't mind other commenters, a lot of people expect everyone to be god loopers when in reality it takes hundreds of hours in the game to get really good and consistent at understanding loops, how to chain them together, and what a map offers to survivors.

Yeah I mean I get the hit detection and latency issue, I just think sometimes with the combined bloodlust and the killer lunge it can be pretty broken.

I would consider myself good at looping in this game though, not to be egotistical but I do manage the loop the killer for 2/3+ gens a game I just think there's a lot of stupid hits that we get, it's mainly from a animation perspective, seeing killers lunge and then they finish their animations not even looking at you is really silly

  • @bingbongboi90 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1558897#Comment_1558897

    Playing killer is not hard?

I find solo survivor not hard but most people dont think that's true also.

Also the reason hag runs fast and long during a lunge is because she attacks with her bare hands. She doesn't have a big sword like pyramid head so this covers up the fact that she doesn't use a real big weapon.

Playing Killer isn't hard at all. I got to Rank 1 in 2 weeks playing against ALOT of SWF's and what not...it's laughable to think people believe playing Killer is hard...but again i'm basing my opinion on what i'm seeing in the game...like people Lunging around walls with bloodlust because of a lot of unsafe pallets...

  • @BananaBlooD95 said:

Plenty of killer have longer lunges than Hag and it's not the game's fault if you start sprint burst too late/run in the killer's face with it and get hit. If you know how the detection work then what are you complaining about? Dedicated server was an improvement for survivor in that regard. So yes being greedy have everything to do with getting hit/grab, especially on maze tile and T & L wall.

There's almost no dead zone at all and it's easy to chain tiles, IDK why's you're complaining especially since you stated Rotten Fields, one of the most survivor sided map with almost exclusively safe pallet and 2 god loops.

If a survivor is downed 2meter away from a hook, nothing will prevent the killer from hooking him; like I said if you play it well 1 sabo can force the killer to drop the survivor, 2 hit are usually enough especially with Breakout and no Iron Grasp.

"Playing Killer is not hard...lol" For the same rank you got to play way smarter/better with a killer, especially if he's mid-low tier. I main clown and Legion at rank 1 so I know what I'm talking about.

I don't want to be rude but it seem to be that you aren't that good at the game and could easily improve simply by watching some content creator.

"Aren't good at the game" and what premises are you basing that off? lol stop thinking you are better than me...i'm allowed my opinion on the game...don't start knocking my skill level when you haven't seen me play. Rotten Fields is not survivor sided you have so far to run before you can get to a tile. You're also suggesting it's my lack of skill/use with a perk why a killer is lunging at me and hitting me...i've used really early to gain distance on a Killer and still get hit from a lunge.

As for your statement telling me to improve...stop being a clown and judging other peoples skill based off an opinion on what they see on the game on a daily basis. Stop thinking you're above someone else just because they give an opinion.

  • @BananaBlooD95 said:

Getting hit while you drop a pallet or grab after vaulting is mostly a latency issue between you and the killer. If you get hit on a pallet it's usually because on the killer's screen you haven't drop it yet as for grabbing you haven't finish the animation on his client. Either way you are too greedy if it's a problem for you, playing killer is already hard, imagine if they made it so you don't hit/grab at all if on the survivor's client you're still too far from them.

Most of the time if you time your sabo correctly the killer will have to drop the person; just hide from the killer going for a hook then go break it just before he can reach it.

I know how the hit detection works. This isn't what i'm talking about...Hag lunges that long and that fast she can hit a survivor on Sprint Burst. I've seen it multiple times. Also being too greedy has nothing to do with it, i've pre-dropped pallets and went to drop pallets only for the game to freeze or it won't even start the animation because the game seems to think the killer is blocking it or something weird. Playing Killer is not hard...lol

  • @JustZed32 said:

Breakout really isnt useless, you just probably want to take a protection hit once, also drop a pallet or something, whatever. Saboteur is actually useful when timed correctly+ there is a perk which shows hook's auras in range where surv was picked up.

I've ran Breakout and took 2 protection hits (Styptic Agent) and dodge 2 hits and someone still didn't wiggle free without even using Iron Grasp. Plus running Saboteur and you can see just how close together the hooks are...just trying to use something other than the boring Meta builds all the time and it's obvious why everyone uses meta builds because trying something else like running Breakout literally doesn't favor anyone but the Killer since you're wasting a lot of time trying to get someone to wiggle free and get injured and they still can't do that...

  • @MadLordJack said:

First, it sounds like you have bad internet. Second, I rarely come across deadzones. Actual, useful deadzones, with a gen in the middle and/or some actual reason to be there. Third, the RNG in this game favours survivors more than killers. When tiles spawn, it's more commonly a maze tile than a deadzone, which sounds fair til you remember that sounds are broken and it is somehow easier than ever to chain tiles, even though they were spaced out on many maps. That is literally my playstyle: I usually get at least one good, long chase by dropping only a pallet or two. It's pretty silly. Fourth, killers can grab you on pallet vaults. Fifth, most of my team escapes most of my trials, and I'm a solo player and not a very good one at that. It just comes back to gen speeds: We can get absolutely destroyed, but the gens go too quick, and I often see my teammates taking the easy route with DS/UB or Locker DS.

I have great internet and ping. I don't know how you don't come across dead zones but most maps are ridiculous for them now, there's a lot of corner areas with nothing but tress and rocks with no pallets. Shelter Woods for example has awful spots as well as Rotten Fields...I was also saying Killers shouldn't be able to grab you while fast vaulting a pallet AWAY from them, if it was towards them i'd understand but when you're going away from the killer it's pretty dumb, especially when it's not even a slow vault.

Just giving my experience and opinion on things since i've been playing this game nearly every day for the last year or so.

  • @Artick said:

Yes, yes, I know, you are already yelling at me for daring to say something so offensive, but bear with me for 5 seconds. I will make this extremely clear and short.

    The following scenarios can happen:

1.You were planning to camp: BT did it's job, nothing more to say.

2.You don't camp and leave the hook: the hooked survivor will get unhooked and BT won't come into play. Now you have 1 healthy survivor(the unhooker) and 1 injured survivor(the unhooker) off gens, with one that needs to heal. Since you left the hook, you need to search for a survivor to chase.

3.You don't plan to camp, but a survivor rushes the hook with BT before you can leave: you get a hit on the unhooker, the unhooked survivor tanks a hit with BT. Now you have 1 injured survivor(the unhooker), 1 survivor that needs to mend and heal(the unhooked survivor) and you also have your next target to chase(any of the 2 survivor), no need to waste time searching for a new target.

Therefore, the math clearly says that survivors rushing the hook with BT when you had no plans to camp is actually in your favor. If they rushed the hook but you still planned to camp, see #1. There can be slight differences in #3, like the unhooked survivor not being able to tank the hit and you downing the unhooker, which is even more in your favor.

Remind me again, why are you complaining about BT if you are not a camper?

the problem with this game is forcing people to run perks they don't want to run because no one would have chance to escape otherwise due to the toxicity of most killers who just want to tunnel and camp. It's quite sad.

Survivors don't want to sit there watching a progress bar all game either...so most people get their enjoyment out of being toxic to each other, this is why the community is toxic.

Literally every issue is pretty much rooted from Gens being a thing in this game and the sooner they get rid of this dumb mechanic, the sooner this game can get WAY better for everybody.

I think increase the numbers on This Is Heavy to something like 10%/20%/30%, since 8% at max is kinda unnoticeable.

Flux Capacitor is kinda like Better Together mixed with Bond. I like it.

Hoverboard sounds like a mixture of Dance With Me and Quick & Quiet. I also like it.

yeah i understand back to the future isn't horror related but the cosmetics alone would be awesome as hell!

I wasn't sure what percentage to put for This is heavy, because I didn't want the killer to not be able to move for so long after being stunned and the Devs love their less than 10% bonuses for survivor perks to make them useless xD

  • I did a few perk concepts for a Marty Mcfly survivor.

This is Heavy - Hitting a pallet stun will make the effect last 2/4/6/8% longer... (Enduring counter)

Flux Capacitor - See Auras of teammate survivors who are currently working on Generators whilst you're repairing a Generator.

Hoverboard - *Exhaustion Perk* when triggered your next vault will always be fast and make no noise and leave no scratch marks.

    something like that anyways

I'd love for them to rework some survivor perks already in the game like Babysitter, Technician and all the other useless junk.

So since killers are getting nerfed again, what's getting nerfed on survivor side to compensate? Looping/Vault speed? Flashlights? Gen speeds? Swf's? SWF'S!? Or do killers just get the finger again?

The last like 4 major updates have been to make Killers stronger...there was obviously people abusing certain aspects of 2 killers in the game...i.e Facecamping Bubba and Billy

Not to mention the Billy's who only use the saw and constantly infinite tap it to get a down, what skill is that on a killer?
