So what about if we rework the DS in that way, when they both gets a benefits from this?He means michael's perks benefit from it
Dying light is an obsession perk, stbfl is a obsession perk, etcSole survivor and decisive strike are also an obsession perks. If this mechanic is supposed to give a both sides benefits from this, than it should work that way. Not only giving a benefits to a survivor, when the killer run some obsession perk.
Dying light will make an obsession, like all perks in its category, so it benefits killer and survivor, also I re-read it and he means some of the perks, sorry, dying light benefits survivor and killer, killer kills the obsession, earns regression, survivor heals with it, gains a progression boost
Okay, but I don't understand why the DS and sole survivor doesn't benefit a killer. Even the Laurie's description said: ''Her personal perks grant her a powerful survival abilities at the cost of leaving her exposed.'' But decisive strike doesn't have any expose or downside. You get my point?

DS should only be available to the obsession, and Rancor should work when the hatch is open.
The perk wouldn't be as bad then.
Even if the DS could only work for the obsession, it would still doesn't get any benefit for the killer, not like the Rancor. Rancor at least gives you an obsession a benefit to see a killer every single repaired gen. This is how in my opinion those perks should work. It gives you something okay, but it gives also your enemy something.
They had no idea what they were doing back then. It's ridiculous that they don't even have the broken effect, so you can use an instaheal/use adrenaline
I agree. It should have at least downside or require to use this perk like deliverance.

It's very hard now to get those cosmetics...Sadly almost everyone would love to get this pack, but I think only the streamers get those items. You can try ask any of them.

In this time I could make a half of gen. Which is also boring lol
Use Botany?
Ooooooor get to a teammate with BondBotany? 2 perks to counter a one specific perk and waste still a 32 seconds? Not worth it.
Bond? Nah, I don't wanna be trolled by my mates to be healed up to 99% and than get screwed by them. Sorry but it's now hard to trust your mates. You use 2 perks to heal yourself faster. It's somewhat 21 seconds to heal yourself without being afffected by Mangled. And 26 seconds if affected by Mangled. I wouldn't say it's not worth it.
And wow seriously? Did you get trolled like that before? I use Bond in almost every game (if i play Quentin and not Kate) and people do heal me 100%. Why don't you trust your teammates?I got trolled and sandbagged multiple times like that. They healed to me 99% percent and than they leaved me alone. That's why I don't trust my mates. With the mangled it feels like this is a normal time with the self care.
Sorry to hear that

Yeah...That's how it looks when you play solo. It just feels like every mate in your game is the killer.

So what about if we rework the DS in that way, when they both gets a benefits from this? If you're using that logic, then apparently Sole Survivor, Play With Your Food, Remember Me, and STBFL are all "incorrect" obsession perks. I don't think that both sides have to particularly benefit from obsession perks. Play with your food and STBFL gives a survivor benefits in countering the killer, since those perks better works when you leave your obsession alive. Dying light gives a survivor an increased speed to altruistic actions. I agree with sole survivor and remember me being an incorrect.
Doesn't the obsession counter completely the effect of remember me and can open the exit gates at normal speed no matter how many stacks?
Theoretically yes. But this perk itself just encourage killers to tunnel the obsession, because the perk better works when your obsession is dead. So practically obsession doesn't get any benefits from this.
Not quite you'd typically want the ones sion alive as long as possible so you can get 6 hits for the maximum door time. Although it does encourage tunneling if the obsession is stealthy enough they can make it to endgame and make the perk worthless. I had a few games where I couldn't find the obession after the first few hits and they made ithe to near/ endgame before being found again. Dstrike is purely a detriment that doesn't even encourage them to "let you go " like PWYF or remember me does
I mean, basically every survivor can make it to the endgame if they are stealthy enough.

Oh I play in the different games, but the game stays the same for almost 3 whole years. New game modes could help this game.

Tbh I don't remember when I saw the crow on this map
-
I play both sides as the solo player. Playing survivor is less rustrating? Yes and no. As I'm gonna being chased for 10 minutes by a killer, I want to see my mates popping a gens so actually we could win a match, but no... most of them are following me with the flashlight to get a save, sandbagging me, sitting in a locker 24/7 or just running for no reason on the whole map....like come on... what's the point for me to keeping killer busy, when my mates do absolutely nothing. And as the killer: I've seen always a full-armed SWF with flashlights, insta-heals and keys. One person can keep me busy for at least 2 minutes and there is already a 3 gens popped. That's what I want to see as the solo survivor: That my efforts has importance to the game.

I'm doing a P3 hag now, thanks to you

I'd rather to see a rework for slippery meat from you

-
Ghostface with Sidney Prescott.
-
He's fun, but terrible at rank 1. He is definitely a ''worst brother of hillbilly''. He get's more punishes from bumping into objects, canceling his chainsaw attack and he is slower while charging the chainsaw. His one pros is that he can easily chainsaw survivors, but you need to be extremely close. He is only worth to buy, if you want bbq.
Is Freddy worth to buy? Right now: No, after rework: maybe, we'll see.
-
He's boring to get play vs them. When they gonna tunnels you: It's over. As the Legion player you have a 100% guaranteed to win a chase.

maybe it could be fine in this way:
recover from Exhaustion while running BUT not in a chase.I am okay with either of these. I don't really have an issue with someone maybe getting two sprint bursts in one chase if they managed to stall long enough and blew two perk slots to do it, but if that's an issue I think making it recover only outside of chases is fair enough as well.
I would love if you could bring this idea to the devs

I think there's a lot of good ideas here, the bloodweb perk part in particular is really nice. However, I don't think there should be too many ways to get shards. Shards are a pretty protected currency. You get them at a steady rate and they can be used to buy stuff that would normally cost you real money (individual characters, entire DLCs, etc.). I'm all for getting rewards for hard work, but at the same time that would force events to be more stingy with bloodpoints because giving too many bloodpoints = faster levels = you're drowning in shards = suddenly nobody will buy anything anymore because they can get it all for free in no time, for example. Bills still gotta' be paid, after all.
I will also say that some of these numbers are really high. 5,000 shards for each devotion is a ton, and I feel like it's not really a worthwhile reward because player level already gives you shards anyway. You get ~300 per level for most of it so if you really just wanted shards, you'd already have the motivation to grind that player level up.
Season rewards would be interesting, however I would like to see longer seasons and harder ranking first. Right now if you play enough you're almost guaranteed to get to rank 1 whether you're good or not. If it was harder to get there but you had more time to do it (for the busy people among us), I feel like that would be solid.
I agree with the last paragraph.

It's the mali flag for sure

Jesus christ. Survivors needs also some helpful stuff like insta-heals. Every side have a different benefits in the game. Such as the killer can mori survivors, insta-down them etc. Besides survivors more die than escape.I believe that helpful stuff should still be balanced. I'm fine with the existence of insta-heals as long as there is a downside which makes the add-on balanced.
In general, if there is a strong perk/item/add-on for either survivors or killers, it should be balanced. I don't like the freebie character of insta-heals. It takes no skill, there is no risk. There is no equivalent for killers with such a freebie trait. A killer equivalent would be that somebody just randomly loses one or two health states. And of course, that doesn't sound reasonable at all. So why should survivors have such an unbalanced add-on?
Than why killers should have mori, insta-downs add-ons? Mori after the nerf doesn't have a downside. You just need to hook a survivor and ta dam you can mori him. Without this you must have to get them killed by hooking them 3 times per person, so there is not downsides for this offering. Insta-down hatchets? Yes there is downside by reducing the carrying a hatchets to only 1, but you have unlimited times to use it and insta-heals are only once per trial.
First, I don't think the Ebony Mori is balanced. It's too strong. But the existence of one unbalanced thing doesn't justify the existence of another unbalanced thing. There simply shouldn't be anything unbalanced in a game.
As you described, insta-down hatchets have a downside. And on top, it still takes skill to hit a survivor and the killer has only 3 attempts (if the add-on for additional hatchets is used). After these 3 attempts, the chase is over. Insta-heals on the other side take no skill at all. Just make a click and it's done.
It's similar to the one other insta-down add-on in DbD. That's it. Not a lot of killers even have insta-downs.
"You can only use insta-heals once per trial" is not a downside, either. If you could use them multiple times, nobody would play DbD anymore.
Than... I'm okay with insta-down nerf if we nerf a mori.
