Trickster is D after the "buff".
Anyone who thinks trickster is mid tier don't play trickster or haven't faced decent survivors since the last changes.
Also the clown is much better since the rework, he is no longer an example of low tier trash, but I've noticed a lot of people only use the tonic and don't learn how to combine it with the antidote in loops and only use the antidote for roaming quicker around the map, that's not a killer problem, is a problem of people using the clown like the old clown.
-
The totem spawn should be adjusted.
I know Hex are supposed to be high risk high reward perks, but on the other hand is stupid when a totem spawn in a visible zone next to a generator or 10 meters away from a survivor spawn, which happen a lot. I'm not saying the hex totems should spawn super hidden, but not in places in which are destroyedr 30 seconds after a match starts.
-
The laggy was you then.
The hit validation is supposed to favour the one who has better ping.
-
Because they don't know Detective's Hunch and maps exist.
-
They made Trickster better in which he was already good and worse in which he was bad intstead of just buffing in which he was bad without touching nothing more.
This "buff" is a joke, is more a nerf than a buff, don't be fooled by BHVR.
-
Survivor - Kindred for avoiding going to unhook when another team mate is going or for knowing if the killer is camping.
Killer - a mini-pop (nerfed version of Pop goes the weasel), 8% of gen regression maybe.
-
This image represents very well the "nerf" of the keys.
Almost nobody use a key for anything except opening the hatch specially if you find one in a chest with plunderer's instinct which is very common.
The nerf to time the hatch stay opened didn't do anything aswell.
-
Twins.
I haven't see them for months.

I've played him quite a bit today.
T-L's result in easy downs.
Jungle gyms are harder but still downs.
I-walls are free downs.
Shack is pretty easy.
Those survivors were idiots if you find the shack easy as Trickster.
In fact I think the hardest killer for facing the shack is Trickster, the other 4.4 killers have some kind of help in the shack.
- Hag can put traps for denying the shack.
- Deathslinger can shot before the survivor take the corner, through the window or along the room..
- Huntress the same as Deathslinger.
- Spirit, ok, no comments needed.
The Trickster can do the same as Huntress and Deathslinger but he need more than one shot for reducing a survivor health state, the only chance of Trickster in the Shack is shooting multiple shots in a slow or mid window vault and it doesn't guarantee a health state reduction and it happen at expense of a survivor mistake.
Jungle gyms are a pain and using the knives is pointless against any decent survivor who know how to play a jungle gym, the only thing you can do is to try an M1 (good luck with a 4.4 killer) or wait till a survivor mistake which not always happen and doesn't even gguarantee a health state reduction.
-
It's more bright now.
I've played once since the patch came out.
-
Since the DS nerf, Dead Hard is the most annoying perk to face for me.
When I catch bad positioned survivors with that damn perk equiped it almost always save them when they are near a pallet or window, in a lot of matches I have the feel of losing due Dead Hard.
-
No.
More missions encouraging to play bad.
-
He needs buffs and a visual update, his textures and animation looks pretty outdated and a mask which looks like a captain Kirk mask like the original Myers would be nice.
-
Well.
I expected that, more or less.
The modeling team of DBD is not the best, you don't really have to put the "meme example" of Quentin, but also Nancy Wheeler, which pretty much looks like a multi-drug addict, just like Claire.
OK Leon looks good, but Leon is not the 15€ skin, so maybe Leon should have been the one who looks like a multi-drug addict.
-
Nurse, spirit and huntress.
Not only are between the best ones (specially the first two), but also the most played by tryharders in publics according to my experience.
-
I feel like since the penalization was termporarly disabled the survivors started to DC massively, even way more than before the penalization system was implemented. Survivor are disconnecting a lot due a stupid reasons, I feel like the people are DCing massively just because "we are in a free buffet of DC, we need to DC due ridiculous reasons until the penalization system is re-enabled".
- Being first down of your team: DC.
- Down by a false hit through a window/pallet: DC.
- First teammate downed within the first 30 seconds of the match, garbage teammates: DC.
- Dead Hard against a wall which result in a down: DC.
- Gen grab: DC.
- 50 more ridiculous reasons: DC.
-
Use Detective's Hunch and shut down the Hexes quickly.
-
It's not good, at least for killers with low mobility, patrolling gens is a pain in the ass due the amount of corridors and rooms you have to cross.
Visually is excelent.
-
Detective's Hunch + Map.
-
It's funny that when survivor talk about "unfun" killers to play against in the list there are usually the ones which cannot be looped to the infinite because they have a power which let them counter that.
I think you are too adapted to your comfort zone and need to adapt to killers which cannot be looped to infinite.

Name another online multiplayer game that has this many problems every patch.
Battlefield V.

So smart. Leave 80% gen and make it destroy by ruin, WOW! You can start 0% generator. Seriously best idea, i ever heard.
And most times they are seeing and also when you are working on generator, sparks can see by other survivors and killer. Send your next excuse
Find totems if you don't like to leave an 80% gen with ruin, then.

Nemesis is nothing like Nemesis in the RE games because he is a nerfed version of RE games one. If they make Nemesis as powerful as he is in the RE games he would be OP. Bazooka and more weapons, high speed, etc.. he would be far above the nurse and the spirit.

I'm speaking as a huge RE fan. Who plays the games all day. Who knows a bunch of small little things some might not know. The map simply is not the only reason. Nemesis doesn't feel like Nemesis is one of the biggest.
I'm also an huge RE fan and not having the RPD for a few days doesn't make me think the chapter is lazy, specially considering that the proble with the map was unexpected because as far I know the map worked fine in the PTB.

I don't get how a killer with a power that's harmful is a prefect mid tier killer but ok
A killer need to have good map pressure for being at high tier, that's why.
-
I've watched the match and my conclussions are: he was playing like it was a normal match and chosed Wraith which is a bad killer against competitive teams and a hit&run build against that kind of teams are a bad choice too (two bad decisions), they aren't a bunch of randoms, they were 4 tryharders with perfectly planified builds with perks equiped for concrete tasks (for example the guy with balance landing repairing the gen in the second floor of the house) and voice coms.
-
I spent time reading random sentences about how bad the RE chapter is but the only conclusion I get is you are angry only because the map is temporally disabled. You are exagerarting a lot, a new chapter is not a bad chapter only because the map is disabled for some time.
-
For me a win is when I kill at least three survivors, two survivorrs a tie, only ony survivor or anyone a lose.
I don't really mind the pips or if the entity is displeased or not.
-
If I get banned a single time as killer with this new system for no reason and only due reports of outplayed and tilted survivors then I'll start to report gen rushers and "clic clic *tbag*" survivors massively if you like abuse that then I'll abuse too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
@Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:
There's no way that doesn't end up wasting way too much time.
That's not bad, any thing which encourage survivors to leave the gens for a bit is good from the killer perspective considering the problem with the gen speed.
Except for the survivor who only enjoy holding M1, pressing Space occasionally and hiding, one of the worst kind and most boring survivor to play against.
-
Maybe in SWF is bad, but playing solo is a good perk because you don't have to find a team mate and they sometimes even refuse to heal you.
-
DC in loading screen, there are no penalisation and the offerings or addons are not lost.

While I agree both were problematic, moris and keys were not counterparts. One literally let the game be decided in a minute if the killer was so inclined to play that way, and whenever a mori was used, that is exactly what they would do.
Meanwhile survivors have to have actually done their objective quite a bit in order to be able to use keys. No, I'm not saying they're fair, but definitely more fair than old moris were and the BS part of it was for a different reasoning altogether.
Wait I just realised you think that Azarov's Resting Place is survivor sided when it's literally the most killer sided map in the game...one side is deadzones while the killer can just keep an easy 3 gen and not even need to interact with the other side of the map. Sometimes, 4 gens spawn on one side. Like...???
The killers had to do their objetive quite a bit for the old moris too, killer needed to chase and down every survivor two times and only with the ebony ones, the nerf to the time the hatch stay opened is not enough. I wouldd put the keys for only working when the 5 gens are done and not opened instantly, it's absurd when a survivor with a key scapes during a chase.
Precisely due the mandatory 3 gen strategy in that map is why I consider that a survivor sided map, you are forced to mostly ignore one side of the map, and if you dont kill any survivor when the last 3 gen are together you won't win and its difficult to win if only one have died, if you have the 3 gen and chase a survivor he will always run to the cluster of jungle gyms in the center of the map wasting yourr time while the others make one of the three gens and if you drop the chase for defending the gens you can't win, this map is only decent for killers with good mobility and the ones who are good zoning, all that without counting that some SWFs try very hard to not let you achieve the 3 gen.
-
Mostly survivorr sided:
- A lot of survivor sided maps (The Game, Ormond, Haddonfield, all Springwood, all Coldwind, all Crotus Prenn, Azarov's Resting place, Suffocation pit).
- No nerfed keys despite their counterpart have been nerfed (Moris).
- Gens done too quickly.
- A lot of second change perks.
- SWF.
-
Both+Mad Grit.
Nice build for basement challenges.
-
We need exclusive skins or a good amount of iridiscent shards as rewards for reaching each Devotion lvl imo.
-
You can deactivate it by cleansing totems, equip small game and/or detective's hunch.
-
Because half of the nurses are not good and because spirit is easy to use, specially with good addons.
-
I always considered that a form of T-bag, I didn't even know some of you make that for saving time in the next healing.
-
Fix most major flaw maybe not, but is a step in the right direrction, at least with the MMR I'll play my low tier least played and equiped killers and try a variety of builds with them without losing most of the trials and in a more relaxed way.
-
BBQ is a decent aura reading perk and I use it in all killers except Pyramid Head for obvious reasons.
When I have all my most played killers at P3 and with all the teachable Perks I'll start to remove that perk in a lot of killer builds.
So in my case is 50%-50% (50 for BP 50 for aura reading).
-
Devour's Hope is a retribution against the gen rushers.
I've won some "losed" games after being rushed thank to that glorious perk.
A good high risk high reward perk.
-
- Key
- Obvious toxic squads (flashy skins and flashlights).
- If more than two players have more than 1000 hours.
- Elf Dwights (ALWAYS TOXIC).
- Streamers (I don't want to be exposed in a show, sorry).
I dodge in the loading screen by closing the game when a smart boy switch to a character with a key in the last second and sometimes not always depending on my mood when they use an offering for a survivor sided map. If you close the game at this point you don't get penalisation, because the game won't even start, the survivor won't lose anything except two minutes in a long loading screen.
-
Yes, that mission is a pain, I've been playing Pyramid Head lately and i don't understand why survivors try to avoid the trails at all cost, They sometimes give me a free hit and even a down by just avoiding to step in the trail, what's the point? are they simply idiots?
-
The old moris I can agree they were equivalent to key, because they could let you skip one hook, but the currrent moris only let you avoid the way to the last hook, also the keys are insanely easy to find using Plunderer's instinct.
-
Here
-
Is not toxic, and it's a good counter if you see a lot of annoying items in the lobby specially flashlights.
-
Trapper get traps from the lockers (with a limit of course), stitched bag basekit.
Pig RBT activates when unhooked or healed (if survivor was slugged after a RBT is placed instead of hooked) instead of being activated when a gen is done.
Demogorgon Rat liver addon completely basekit, not only part of the bonus as happened in the last patch, it's still the best addon despite being common and still mandatory. I want more varied addons builds with demo.
Plague. When a survivor remove the infection in a pool of devotion when fully infected, he must stay injured (broken status removed, of course).
Calm Class 1 and Mouldy electrode basekit for doctor.

Nah I definitely faced alot of red ranks this week. I have to say whenever facing a full red rank team. The match felt fairly balanced, I left with no rank up or rank down.
It doesn't matter if they hear you the first time. Cause the second time you come around. The pallet they dropped last time is broken. so you get a free hit.
You say there's a window near by? Go to window side and decloak there.
If the generator is inside a jungle gym is very difficult to get a free hit even if the pallet is gone, they have enought time to run to a window or hide behing a wall unless you bodyblock one, and against average skilled survivorrs is a bit difficult. I noticed he is good in maps in which the gens doesn't spawn in jungle gyms so frequently but other maps like Crotus Prenn is a complete hell when playing wraith, not only due the frerquent gen spawn in jungle gyms, but also the frequent infinites in the center of the maps. That all supposing you don't use addons.
I think using bone clapper is almost mandatory at least fo getting more free hits if you don't have better addons, and it addon combines good with Swift Hunt addons and of course using a coxcombed clapper instead of bone clapperr is better, but it's an ultra rare.
The All Seeing "strategy" some people mention is good but relies in very rare and ultra rare addons and I don't like the builds relying in addons above Yellow-Green.

Trapper and Pig.
