I just realized that Any Means Necessary is very good against Nemesis

In terms of the zombies, survivors can get rid of them with pallets. Obviously, that comes with drawbacks because the pallet is down and the killer can kick them. If you have Any Means Necessary, however, you can stun the zombies with a pallet and then lift it back up. Is Any Means Necessary meta now?

Comments

  • Yes. Distortion, Any Means Necessary, Flash Bomb and Unbreakable are the new meta.

    So sayeth I.

  • There's no way that doesn't end up wasting way too much time.

  • Not worth bringing the perk outside the PTB where 95% of the killers are Nemesis, and even then, eh. It's definitely a good zombie disposal tool without wasting resources, but the only time you need to kill a zombie is when it's bothering people at a gen or a hook. In most locations, they are very ignorable.

It's just a thought. If a zombie is harrassing you at a gen then you can get rid of it with a pallet.

This is assuming you're going against a nemesis, just like how calm spirit kinda counters doctor. Are you willing to always run it with hopes you might go against nemesis?

i disagree, nemisis is a better plague and demo, takes care of pallets in half a second, and is lose lose like old pyramid head , at tier 3, so i think if anything head on will be more worth it than any means

Yeah I know but it just came across my mind out of nowhere. Obviously AMN is still ######### because it's only good against one killer.

I'm mainly talking about the zombies though.

  • I think it does a great job at countering Nemesis' zombies but not worth it enough IMO.

I was worried Plague was going to be outshone by Nemesis, but she really doesn't play like him at all. Her sickness mechanic is very different, pushes the player controlling her to make different decisions (infecting survivors isn't always a benefit and her chases change depending on whether she wants to take out the first health state by M1 or her power) and more punishing by itself - the anti-stealth and application by M2 attack are the only consistent parts of it. The rest may as well be something else. Her ranged attack is also more dangerous than Nemesis's, differing that he can always down with M2 but it can take 3 hits/is less powerful at the start of the match, and hers doesn't last permanently once obtained and has to be continuously farmed. Still, being sick against Plague is way more dangerous than being sick against Nemesis and her activated max power is more dangerous than his activated max power. Of course, Nemesis has other things in his kit and she doesn't.

Demo is... oddly enough is rather eclipsed by Nemesis? I wasn't expecting that one, but it makes a lot of sense now that I think about it - because people don't use Demo's portals much compared to his shred, which works extremely similar to Nemesis's tentacle but without the hit-through-vaults application. For the rest... he has anti-stealth where Demo has mobility, but they both have pallet busters and finicky and unreliable survivor detection. Huh.

Anyway, good to know Head On works - I was wondering, but didn't have a chance to test it. Couldn't get the zombies to come to my locker.

im saying more on the lines that you wont have many pallets are against nemisis, to headon to create a stun or using a flashlight will help alot

That's not bad, any thing which encourage survivors to leave the gens for a bit is good from the killer perspective considering the problem with the gen speed.

Except for the survivor who only enjoy holding M1, pressing Space occasionally and hiding, one of the worst kind and most boring survivor to play against.

Head on saves you the time of running to a pallet dropping it and resetting it with a shorter Cooldown

    Yours still works tho

  • It "wastes time" but the zombies waste your time already, and it's the best fight against them.

Counterforce is going to be meta because it's 1 perk to destroy as many hex perks that the Killer has, which is 0-4. It's too much value. Even against zero hexes, who cares, Survivors have the power to spare...

  • Flashlight them, it immobilizes them for a moment.

Question: Does Calm Spirit counter Iron Maiden?

  • You don't scream but will still be exposed. Although i would suggest to not even use lockers in the first place and just get looped
