If they’re not good, as you’re implying, catching and killing them should be easy enough. Can’t do gens if they’re dead.

If you play a low mobility killer (most of them) and the map is survivor sided (most of the maps due size mainly) if the survivors gen rush you cannot kill everyone before the survivors complete the gens even if they are awful and get caugh in 30 seconds. You need to hook them 12 times unless you tunnel or camp and I don't do any of that things except in some situations.

Why would you care about bloodpoints once you have unlocked everything you need ?

Bloodpoints show what have you done in a match.

When I play survivor I usually earny 20.000 or more despite dying because I've done a lot of things.

When The match start I only do a gen and the next I do is when its the last or when the game is goind bad for us.

The other things I do? breaking totems, useful for preventing a final NOED or finding the Ruin quickly (I usually equip Detective's Hunch).

When I see a survivor being chased near where I am and he is hurt, I try to bodyblock for tanking a hit.

When a survivor is hooked I try a rescue.

I'm having more fun doing that than holdind M1 and hiding behind a wall or rock when I hear heartbeats and I hate facing them as killer because they force me to use gen regresion perks for extending a match more than 3-4 minutes.

  • "Is My ObJeTiVe" is what say the people who scape with only 14.000-16.000 points, and they think they're good. XD

  • If the devs don't want to touch the generators base repairing speed they should do this things to make more killers viable aside the Big Three:

    • Reduce all the maps to a size similar to Coal Tower or Dead Dawg Saloon.
    • 150% of the current regression speed with a nerf to ruin for balancing.
    • 5% gen regression when kicking a gen as base and nerf to Pop for balancing.
    • Remove infinites.
    • Remove Brand New Part.
    • Nerf Proof Thyself to a max of 10% speed bonus.
  • Lithe.

In fact I started to use it already instead Dead Hard.

Roleplaying as the killer is prob some of the best advice I've gotten today, at least for salvaging my sanity from this game. Honestly the only time I have fun is trickster because the dude is just cackling the entire time and I can't take myself seriously. I wish they had made an urban map to go with him. alleyways are scary imo

    Play Plague too.

The survivors looks kinda ridiculous when teabag and flicker flashlight while they are coughing and vomiting.

  • Wraith.

    The official killer for deranking.

A stealthy killer is used to prevent the survivors farming points from a chase and bold points from terror radious extending the match.

  • I know, but is disgusting to face immersed teams, they hide as soon as they start hearing the heartbeats and you feel stupid roaming around the map spending two minuted to find someone, in addition they frequently hide when there are only two remainin to wain you to kill the other anf search the hatch which sometimesends up being an insanely long matche.

I know that is a problem of the game design but we can do our part as player to avoid that kind of unfun situations, me for example, I never tunnel and camp except in some situations.

  • Stop Playing immersed please, we are not in 2018.

  • Most of the times its for wasting killer time for removing infinites, and we all know the killer have a lot of time to spend in the matches.

    PrETTy GooD JoB sO FaR.

  • So thats why the console survivors always stop just before using Dead Hard.

I always wondered about the reason.

  • Bayonetta Plague.

  • I've been BHVR'd a lot of times playing plague, I'm sick of this.

The killers are the most BHVR'd by far:

    • Fake pallet stuns from 1m away (The same for Head On perk).
    • Auto-aim playing against you.
    • Gen/hook/window survivor grabs being robbed.
    • Changing clown bottles and throwing the one you had selected just before the change.

    .

    .

    .

I miss the old times in which the killer was the host.

  • I hate facing Trapper and Myers and they're not strong at all.

It's a badly designed perk, one that rewards killer for survivor simply doing the objective. And it actually has no cooldown of all perks.

It's broken and unfair. You feel cheated against it every time.

Borrowed time and Decisive Strike Reward the survivors for killers doing the objetive (killing), we can use that poor argument for both sides.

You're right, you can't play killer in red ranks with no gen defence but it's kind of a cycle, players like to sit and repair gens because many killers they play against are using the same sweaty builds even against poor solo q teams, which led me to open this post.

I use ruin + undying in some killers but not because I'm sweaty, I always play chill not sweaty, I don't camp or tunnel except in some situations; I just want the match to last more than 5 minutes and only 5 hooks.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Trust me, I would like to play more varied builds, but from purple ranks and ahead is almost imposible to enjoy a match without gen slowdown perks unless the survis want chases and playing with you for obtaining more BP or for fun simply, which is quite rare.

  • Play Killer in red ranks without Gen related perks, when you get 3 gens done by survivors after only 2 chases and hooks come and talk, sorry for you if you are a solo survivor, if the people weren't so obsesed with repairing and scaping with only 14.000 points you wouldn't see that perks so frequently.

  • Skill based MM is only less chill for the skilled tryhard players, however for the average players like me is more chill and you get paired with people with more similar skill in my experience.

I've seen some main killer streamers crying the past days during the SBMM test because they don't want to play "so competitive in public matches" due being paired with SWFs full of meta perks, syringes, purple medkits, etc, which is translated as "I cannot make 20 win streaks for my viewers anymore while I'm steamrolling worse players!!! buaaa buaaa buaaaaa", they just were put against the kind of players the deserved during the SBMM.

I hope the SBMM and elo system will come soon.

  • Legion without addons get a 4k against 3 borrowed time, 3 dead hard, 2 DS and a key and the guy has the impudence of saying you have no skill.

  • I would call this new system "robbery validation" instead "hit validation".

Pallet hits robbed and false pallet stuns from 1m away.

  • Looks like a tierlist made by someone with 100 hours played or less.

  • No!

We need more horny memes in DBD community.

  • His chase music are literally screams of victims.

    Read his lore.

  • Some people playing in the PTB are dumb af.

I wonder why some of them genrush instead of let the killer chase them to see his power and try tactics to counter it.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • I think Pinhead is weak.

The hook chains are so easy to dodge, as survivor you just have to stay alert about the position of Pinhead when he's chasing you and when you see he stops you simply have to turn to another direction and most of the hooks are evaded. As pinhead when you achieve a chain hook it doesn't feel rewarding most of the times.

  • I'm so glad it's not FNAF, only due that crowd of FNAF fanboys being a pain in the forums.

  • Not hearing the players and making changes only based in numbers and statistics.

  • Ruin + Undying + Discordance/Tinkerer/Thrilling Tremors.

When you get notified go to the gen.

If you use an slow killer you will struggle in big maps anyway.

  • Because they deserve that for bringing or taking the most OP item.

  • For winning, they usually use Ormond, Haddonfield and Colwind offerings which are survivor sided maps.

Depending on my mood I may close the game in the loading screen, I'm sick of that maps.

Unpopular opinion, I think trickster is worse off now than he was before. They buffed him in an area where he was already strong and the changes they made hurt him in the areas where he was weak.

This opinion is only unpopular for people which have played Trickster very few times or not played him at all, and angry cryers for being caugh and down quickly in an open zone.

The trickster "buff" was in fact a nerf, with 8 knives and higher throwing speed he was still lethal in open zones, he is still very bad in high structures and have to reload the knives a lot wasting time while the gens pop one after another.

  • I experienced some errors which removed me from the match to the main menu of the game. If they want to enable de penalisation system they should be sure this issues happen to a very small portion of the community or nobody at all, but this is very extended as I see.

If they don't want to disable completely the penalisation system, at least they shoul put a lesser penalisation, 5 minutes penalisation 3 or 4 times in a row before starting to be 15 minute penalisation would be nice.

  • I suppose that boon totems should be destroyed by the survivors for taking the advantage, I don't want to find totems as killer, not enough time for another objetive aside patrolling generators and hunting survivors.

  • Because they are too stupid even for being zombies, they get stuck in rocks and other elements and the hitbox of their attacks is tiny, they miss even clear hits.

  • I expect a buff, or at least the zombies get fixed, but looking at what they did to Trickster I'm scared.

The only time I ever see anyone run it in solo queue, they're in the corner healing while others are trying to do gens or trying to take aggro, half the time they get caught mid Heal and end up on the hook again because of self care

In my experience I spend more time trying to be healed by a team mate than healing myself with SC, also it's more dangerous because yo have to cross the map to find the someone.

The ones who get caugh while healing themselves are stupid or the killer have nurse's calling, I've been catched while healing myself maybe the 1% of the times.

Having a teammate in solo queue that runs sc means death for the whole team in most cases

    No.

  • For me SC is meta, and I don't usually get hit seconds after I heal myself. Playing solo and not equiping self care feels like suicide for me.

  • Detective's Hunch + Map.

If you don't have maps then use plunderer's instinct too for finding a map more easily in the chests.

  • For me proxy camping is not a toxic mechanic if you don't use it for tunneling and you just want to chase the rescuer.

Also, if you have a three-gen and the hook is in the middle of the three gen of course you are going to proxy camp, even if you don't want to.

  • In RPD the hatch can spawn even in "third floor", I saw it spawn in the second floor of the library once.

  • Zombies are bugged, OK they are zombies and zombies are stupid, but walking against a rock until you kill him is a problem of a bugged AI. No excuses for this really, if they can do survivor bots which don't stuck against a rock or wall they can do that with the zombies too.

And about Trickster, he is D tier, no discussion, he es very slow and his power is nullified in high walls loops and structures if the survi you are chasing is not stupid of course. The only powerfull thing of Trickster is he is lethal in open zones and unloopable in low walls loops, but I consider it a good trade considering how many drawbacks he have.

If you can explain. How was pig in the past when she first came out and what warranted the nerf.

She had 28 meters terror radious and the RBTs had to be removed before leaving the map through gates even if the countdown wasn't on (a leave through the hatch was still possible). She was an unique killer due this, because she was the only killer which can negate a gate scape at the end withouth using any perk (Blood warden).

After the endgame collapse change they made possible an escape if the trap isn't in the countdown.

Imo even with the EGC enabled a survivor shouldn't have to be able to leave through gates as before even without countdown, some people may think "but it's unfair due the countdown of the EGC", maybe, but making it slower like when a survivor is hooked or downed should be enough, also, if the RNG punish so much the pig he need some RNG beneficts, simply bad luck for the survivor, good luck next time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also, related to lore, in Saw films a victim cannot leave the game until playing the game ( when the game means removing the trap), being less lore friendly than before.

  • @Haddix said:

The lead balance designer, from what I know, believes Pig is a very strong killer and that the community's consensus on her strength is inaccurate, so it's unlikely that she'll be receiving any significant buffs.

This is what happen when a lead balance designer is a bad player or don't really know the game in which he works. Any experienced player say the pig is a low tier killer, almost every experienced streamer say the pig need buffs, the same with the forum community.

I used to main the pig time ago, but I got sick of her RNG related to traps, when two or more survivors remove the traps in their first attepmt, which happen very frequently feels so unsatisfactory, also the dash being so bad due how slow it is doesn't help the killer performance.

  • Stretched are cheating, no discussion, stretched resolutions is like using Shadowborn as 5th perk as killer but better.

In the case of survivors, they can see the killer in high walls loops and some jungles, it's an exploit.

Behaviour can't really do nothing, because a custom resolution cannot be considered cheating with a rulebook in the hands because you are not modyfing game archives or using a 3rd party software intented for chetaing, but they are in fact cheating due the obvious advantages.
