I main Robbie the Rabbit as Killer

I main Now , Felix as survivor

Since the chances that killer and survivor would offer the same map are so low, you are almost guaranteed this token will work as a survivor. Why you would use it is up for debate, but for example if your teammates tell you they're using an offering to go to that map you hate, you could use this to negate it.

So, as a solo que player. I have the potential to screwing over SWF players if they play a map offering ?

Omg where are the pallets and why is my ds not working?

No perks in real life except maybe caffeine

Tunneling is fair, it's a made up "violation". There's nothing unsportsmanlike about chasing injured survivors over healthy ones or chasing someone who's already been hooked over someone who hasn't to get a kill more quickly. The killer is not the bad guy when they "tunnel".

    Too true.

All apex predatorial animals focus on the injured/weaken state prey. That prey doesn't get to complain that it was targeted and ended.

The only difference is emotionally humans are driven to do whatever it takes to get to their goal. And the flaw is if it is not going their way, an emotional outburst happens. Whatever emotion controls the situation.

  • Imagine if a survivor that has DS protection and if they rush to a gen or even something of the effect. It negated by reversing another Gen's progress. Or made a working Gen all a sudden burst to 75% at half the rate of progress to get it working again which has to make a survivor have to REfix it all again. This penalizes DS GenRushing ๐Ÿค”

An idea that'll never happen but worth a thought ๐Ÿฅด

  • Why does rank and pip matter to you all? I'm genuinely curious

  • @Mtom912 said:

Without video proof, there is no way of knowing whether you're exaggerating how fast gens went, which is something people here love doing

Same can be said about being tunneled when actuality it's a basic chase.

Oh also don't act like you guy's didn't play fr13th that's ######### Jason Voorhees on there

To be fair. I personally got into both. But this game was more fun to get involved in. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  • I only meant the timing. Especially for a killer as slow as Doctor. Which had me thinking.

But yea sure... consider me like a newb ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  • To be fair, considering Tink is a Billy Main Perk. It's safe to say Blight, which just came out, is perfect for that perk.

  • Well only because of Blight. I would agree on a Blighted variant on killers and survivors but doesnt have to be legacy status. Other than for S*its and Giggles running around Blightfully

  • I sincerely believe it's better to be a 50/50 player. Just to break the monotony of stagnant gameplay.

  • So we all in agreement?

    Ale, Strudel, Strumpets

    *wink wink* ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

  • Instead of Cakes, it's Strudels and Ale โค

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ this man literally just said that looping takes no skill and holding m1 on a gen does.

I cant even reply to you anymore.

You win, i can see your dbd mindset is clearly superior to mine.

Again. I said it doesn't take that much skill and I never compared them as the exact same ๐Ÿ™„

You LITERALLY don't know how the word Literally is used.

Once you play at rank 1 long enough you realize thay this game isnt about escaping. Its about making sure everybody survives.

Dbd is boring af if all you do is hide do gens then just do the door and leave.

Thats no skill, real skill comes from looping, using your perks to make experienced plays, and saving your team mates.

Probably why swf is fun af because your team mates actually save you and work as a team to try and get everybody out. Where solo queue is potatoes just doing everything solo and only worrying about getting themselves out.

I'm a comfortable rank 4 (or 5 on average) in survivors. Where Rank doesn't mean anything anyways ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ I dont need to rely on anyone. I use my perks to their advantage. I dont use DS (I'm crap at hitting Great Skill Checks with it, I will admit) If this game would ever give me BT I would use it. But I dont care for Bill. So I only prestiged him once. But for you to opinionate that all solo are potato is simple minded. I dont care how you play. The fact that you fart flower pooperi doesn't bother anyone. It doesn't take skill to running around. Or else it would have a Skill Check.

  • Sure, remove maps. Let's all swim in the Void of the Entity. We no need ground or obstacles. ๐Ÿฅด

  • @MontoidFroy said:

Is there not a way the Devs can only allow chat between survivors while your in the countdown lobby then it gets disabled once the game starts? Being able to communicate for a limited time would at least let the potatoes know what to somewhat do..

That would not leave enough time to teach potatoes.

Sounds boring. Exactly the looping is the only fun part about playing survivor, to outplay the killer. Pressing m1 requires no skill in becomes boring pretty fast in my opinion.

Well then I guess I'm boring.

    Oh wait, I'm alive. ๐Ÿฅด

This use to be a Horror Game with actual killer mindsets. Now days it's Ring Around The Rosey Tag Me. Might as well not be horror themed.

If you think about it, pressing WASD/stick is basically the same thing. It's basic movements. Doesnt take much more than being a ninja in game. Never being found out

You should've said that instead of what you said previously. 2 completely different comments. What you said here I actually agree with but just focusing only on generators and not doing anything else I didnt agree with.

Well. To me. Gens are more important ๐Ÿฅด

Most my trials other survivors play too damn risky. I'll go for a save but I will make sure it's a safe save. And if they rush save next to the killer. I'm gonna focus on gens and get out. I only wish survivors didnt rely on 2nd chance style. I will save. But if I see risky plays after. They're on their own ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  • I'm at the daily poi t where I need to Down 4 survivors with blight. But have no clue how his power works. Real frustrating. His control is worse than Oni

  • @DailyDemo said:

I want him to be buffed with a secondary ability to give him better map pressure, but the balance team thinks that he is underrated so he obviously is like SS tier right?

I just want his bottle tossing be more less flingy to more so Minor League Baseball throws. It's odd flinging bottles just to see it leave his hand awkwardly and not land where intended at distance range

  • @BigTimeGamer said:

Hes the worst killer, bar none.

As Clown, you hold W. His Power? Makes the holding W gameplay slightly faster, but its negated by dropping pallets early.

Against Clown, you hold W and drop pallets early and just repeat until gens are done. Its incredibly boring both sides.

Side note; anyone else notice Clowns tend to tunnel off hook, camp immediately and generally BM etc more than anyone other killer?

You mistake Bubba with Clown. Bubbas face camp more than anyone. And the majority blatantly BM along with it. I never had a Clown do these things.

CLOWN DOES fling bottles alot even when not chasing. IME

  • But 2 consecutive strikes downs a survivor. Lunge or not. Wouldn't then the next survivor just be SOL after so many times a lunge gets stacked?

  • Is it a bug or exploit? It's been happening to me. I didnt take it as a bug because it felt convenient that I'm as a killer I suddenly not allowed to hook a survivor. But the rest of the game goes without an issue? Smashing the button to hook because I AM at the hook and prompted To Hook. It didnt feel like it's a simple as a bug. Didnt feel like lag. Because it only happens when I'm about to hook. When carrying them it's all fine. Get to the hook. It's Smash Button

  • 16m vs 14m ?? I cant win ๐Ÿฅด lol

    @APoipleTurtle said:

It's very trollish on the claustrophobic indoor maps (literally just Hawkins and Lerys). While it still probably won't save you on its own, it can waste a chunk of killer time by getting them stuck on every doorway and prop between you and the hook. Not to mention finding hooks is more challenging on indoor maps.

Perhaps ironically, Boil Over is probably at its strongest right now. It can exacerbate the "can't hook survivors" bug that killers are sometimes facing to a ridiculous degree (by constantly messing up their approach angle for the interaction). Though even then, it's still not a particularly great perk...

I actually enjoy the help survivors give when trying to struggle when I'm killer in indoor maps. Especially Lery's. I dont fight against their struggles. I let it slip me around corners and doorways towards a hook I'm intending to go to. But also if I drunkstep one way feeling that I ain't going towards that hook. I save it and glide towards another hook. (Forgive the odd descriptive but in a sense, Boil Over doesnt feel strong enough to pull me away from a hook, I just go with it's flow)

  • I've thought of a very simplistic way in order to rework it. Having it lore wise with the fighting spirit that makes the Entity enjoy the struggles. Game wise it acts as if once picked up. The nearest hookS in the range of maybe 16m are automatically broken. (Entity helps the wiggle by destroying nearest hooks)

This just makes it struggle to get to the closest hook the killer can get to. That way the survivor has an actual chance.

    Nothing else changes.

  • Rather have Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark become a series in DBD first before anything Sci-Fi personally

Completely agree. Honestly I feel like he should be able to whip when he swings while using rush. Like Oni can. Just that little bit of movement would be a good needed buff to him.

Imagine him using that cane of his not just for slashing at survivors but to hook the edge of a environment obstacle justvas he dashed. So that he makes a sharp turn or something to that effect. With an addon. May be able to focus it into a pinpoint direction of his choosing. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  • I got Blight because of his history to the game lore. While I don't hate him. And don't really regret getting him. His learning curve as of now is difficult (for me, and yeah I know... git gud) but his POV IS kinda weird to get use to. I recently got him. And wanted to experience his Mori. That too was kinda disappointing. Not to mention. Right off the bat a survivor whined my head off all about it. Even when I hooked everyone first before I ever Mori killed anyone of them. His pinball effect feels heavy for a character that's supposed to be fast. He ain't heavy like Oni. But way slower than Oni to turning out his dash. His addons dont much help it either. And also all I'm getting is Blight Rats and Monicles each bloodweb. But then again. I got him at level 34 at the moment. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  • Rule 34 ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Your exactly the problem with solo queue games. I get 3 people with this mindset every game and im stuck being the only one doing any saving and then get left when i need the help.

    Point proven thanks.

As said I dont WASTE time. If there is the safe option to go for a save off hook. I will. But I dont repeat the same mistake when THEY get themselves caught again no sooner than I helped out.

It's best to assess the situation so all outcome is in your favor.

  • This is why I run solo and do gens and only do gens and NOT waste time on needless things. I let the other 3 survivors worry about those other things. My focus is gens and not being caught.

  • Better yet, just accept that all these things are in game, otherwise it would be violating the system. If the devs have implemented such things. It's legal to use. Don't whine about what's in game. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

i mean if were going that route, and purely keeping him the same killer but buffing him, an even better thing would just be to make him lose power upon missing a hit. that way he isin't outright punished completely for missing an attack, much like an oni would be for downing a survivor. - However, i do believe, that exiting feral frenzy manually this way, and allowing him to Down survivors, who have already been impacted by feral frenzy, with feral frenzy would be a good tweak. He loses his power upon exiting it, and is faster exiting it if he hits all survivors. but he can now down within it if he manages to regain it in the 20s of chase. downing a survivor with frenzy (Who is deep wounded) would take him out of his ability with regular attack cooldown, basically allowing him to capitalize on a deep wounded survivor, if a chase goes on for a while.

gives him lethality, whilst playing into his original playstyle and rewarding it more, with punishing it less (and in different ways)

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1609613#Comment_1609613

and thats fair enough. but at the same time without any kind of increased lethality, were going to see a lot of legion changes like the previous ones. where he becomes either really incredibly unfun to play against, and will down you no matter what even if it takes him an incredibly long time, or with absolutely no real lethality besides keeping people injured, which a plague can already do consistently (he acts as a worse plague rn, as healing against him doesn't have a double sided penalty, other then the fact that he can injure you quickly again.) where he's basically a reverse clown with a good start of chase, and a hard end of chase. clown and blight are actually quite similar in the chase regard, where going away from a loop gets you killed, or at the very least a hit on you.

Honestly if they keep his original kit/the way he is now, they need to give him some form of increased lethality (nothing major) in his power, or some flipside to healing from deepwounds to healthy against him. hell even if survivors screamed upon healing from deep wounds, or to healthy (deep wounds might be a bit much) it would be a huge benefit to him, alerting him to where survivors healed, and allowing him to have constant consistent awareness like a doctor, whereas staying injured would allow people to keep stealthy, but remain vunerable. That or tying effects on top of the feral frenzy at base, like a oblivious status effect etc.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1609614#Comment_1609614

And honestly without that pin, his ability doesn't honestly do too much in a match unless your incredibly incredibly good with him, or survivors mess up. thats the problem. doing really really well with blight, with oni, with nurse, spirit or hell even trapper will likely win you the match. doing really well with legion, with clown, or with old leatherface is likely to net you a 1 or 2k. and whilst thats what the game is aimed around balance wise (as it should be) Messing up as legion is where the coin falls flat out of his favour. if you mess up even a single time, you get no kills, or if you are even average as legion, or even pretty good, it feels like survivors are always able to be one step ahead. hell even the deep wounds status effect if he leaves you isin't that impactful since you can still pump a gen (As i often have as survivor) as it ticks down to its last seconds, before finally recovering from it. at the very least deep wounds should act like doctor madness 3 in that regard, where you can't do anything except loop. forcing you to recover first.

You do realize I said I dont 3ven use FF, only on a rare occasion I need to close the gap. Did you miss that part?

I only love using the pin for Legion's full map terror radius as a distraction. I prefer monitoring perks like Deerstalker, Nurse's Calling. Discordance. And I often add Franklin's Demise. Especially now, to rid the flashlight problem. I only struggle against SWF who are very coordinated. And most because of that crutch Borrowed Time BS. Which I dont have a issue with but at 1gen to EGC. Other than those few moments. Nothing about Legion is an issue. Because I have my own adaptations. If anything FF is a crap shoot as is. It's only use is to close gaps when chasing uberloopers. Just my 2cents on that

  • It doesn't hurt nor help either way.

It DOES help Streamers gain a larger base when your friends suggest watching.

Adding a tutorial is already in the game. For the basics

  • I kinda like it. It's like going, peekaboo around corners.

This camera angle ALSO shows what it may look like if say Chucky entered DBD.

For those you into that concept. Think of this as a potential blessing

i wish it was but its a perk that gets worse as more people use it, locked behind a ยฃ10 DLC.

    Variably Agree on that.

    Hence the Ought to Been.

There's times I run Inner Strength and only 1 full totem through the course of the trial. It's a somewhat double edge sword when more than one, if not a determined survivor, does bones thoroughly. The situational moments the turn favors are like juggling while playing musical chairs.

  • Move on ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  • Trying to get use to controlling his turn radius. It's just as or more difficult than Oni. In my experience.

But his natural speed is nice. Can easily keep up with survivors without needing to pinball.

    My 2cents

  • Inner Strength ought to have been the incentive to do bones.

  • @Terro said:

Why? Because it adds a little variety to the game.

If only they would do this with Generators ever so often.

  • I personally always use dream pallets. The fake-out when they try uberlooping then that blood splash. In my experience, you can actually sense their mind go "damnit"

  • Need to consider he Is a hunchback. That's how I come to terms with it.

I only hope he gets a shark's fin variant so when he DOES zip past a ledge. All the survivor sees is a dorsal fin. Just for giggles ๐Ÿฅด

  • Fun fact: Blight's deformity plays into his POV. His eyes are actually in his chest. Deceptively.

    ๐Ÿ‘

    ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ƒ

    ๐Ÿ‘…

  • It IS disappointing that it's a rarity than anything that the RBTs are only looked at as stalling the game. Wish they were more than such. And her Mori is so boring

  • Everytime something like this comes up. It brings back memories of this catchy song

    https://youtu.be/urNyg1ftMIU

  • I'm possibly the very few in regards of using Legion with Feral Frenzy. I rarely use it. Only minor use just to close a gap. Only to cringe out of it for a solid hit. A takedown hit.

The only addon I use really is the Iri Pin. Just so Legion has their TR through the Entirety of the map.
