A bikini would be better imo, but either would be great albeit quite distracting.
Good loopers would choose her more! I dunno if I would get in trouble or not, but google image search sequin one piece swimsuit. It would be fire on her. She'll sparkle and run while looking bootyful.

For when a cosmetic of Jane in a bikini?
I dunno, I feel a one piece will accentuate her curves and make her even more appealing. Like what they wore on Baywatch but dark red.
-
Felix with the aviator glasses makes me swoon.
Steve in his work uniform, his tush is too cute.
David has a nice body, but it looks like a cat went full on demonic and beat the crap out of his face.
Claudette is the cutest and my main, I dunno if I would consider her hot tho.
I would say Felix for the men and Cheryl for the women. If Jane had a higher polygon count and better textures, then she would be a contender.

The entity in human form sabotaging the game?? That explains the Urban Evasion Nea players I come across haha.
A way that I stopped myself from being intimidated by my own team was by running a support build with For The People! This allowed me to support the team and if used correctly can actually aid your team heavily and help them win. That's how I conquered my fear.
As for crumbling under pressure in stuff like chases, still happens to me a fair bitπ but we'll both get there!
Nah, I've reached my limit. I'll never get better, but I am okay with that. I will sacrifice myself to rescue someone who I know was a good team player and looped the killer well. I figure if anyone deserves to die it should be me.
Surprisingly, when I apologize to people in endgame chat, most are nice and actually give me compliments! Apparently, for most good players, they're just happy that I'm a mobile bush who works on gens, does totems and takes aggro when I need to. There are those who curse me, but I just pretend that they just stepped on a lego and ignore them.

Bless you Ghoste:), honestly the reason I got so intimidated was because this was around when cross play just came out. And I knew Legacy players were no joke. I have a habit of crumbling under pressure.
Me too, I always feel bad for holding back the better players. So sometimes I pretend I'm the entity in human forum and my goal is to sabotage from within. It's not true though, I'm just bad ;_;
-
I will dodge if I see a high ping, or 3 console players wearing all of the same cosmetics and are equipped with flashlights. That tells me that I'll be the only one doing gens while everyone else would be focused on saves.
It's a toss up if I see a key, but usually stick around. I just play extra stealthy while the killer tunnels the key holder and will remember to relocate the key to a safe space when they original key holder bites the dust.
I used to leave if everyone picked Claudette because I main Claudette but I don't want to frustrate the killer before the match started, but now I just switch to Dwight.

You couldn't have put it any better I totally agree people need to get off there high entitled horse be it killer or survivor the game is PvP and whole point is to win so whatever is required to win and it's not cheating is fair game in my eyes
This is your opinion. Many people don't play to just "win". Lots of people play to have fun irregardless of whether they win or not. When I play killer, I love picking Doctor to harass survivors and make them scream over and over. I do it too much against potatoes sometimes and let them all go in the end. I didn't need to win anything, I just had some fun.
Same with when I play Hag. I'll get someone on the hook, and place all 10 of my traps in the path that leads to the hook just so I can hear the rescuer scream over and over. I find it funny and for making them suffer through all those traps I don't pursue them.
No one here is being entitled or on a high horse. This thread is dedicated to the killers who go out of their way to make the game enjoyable for their opponents even though they don't have to. If you were to have actually read the thread, you'd have seen my comments where I state that I don't believe anyone should judge or disparage players who choose to play the way you describe.
Perhaps you're just not good enough to be able to play in a way that is fun for everyone, and that's fine, just don't come here and try to put down others who are.
-
So, like, why do you feel the need to make a thread to insult them? Why not give them advice on what they're supposed to do instead?
-
- If you're not a strong looper, run Spine Chill. Every time it lights up, stealth towards the direction you think the killer is coming from. Hide behind the environment while doing so they don't see you. 9 times out of 10, they don't expect you to sneak past them in the direction they're coming.
- If you're on PC and have cross-play enabled, know that most console survivors are selfish and will leave you to die during end game. So it is best for you to try to avoid the killer at all costs when the last gen pops. Don't waste your time looking for NOED or trying to save, let them die unless you choose to run borrowed time and you yourself are good at looping and making the killer miss.
- Plunderers is underrated. It doesn't always give you what you want, but it is a good way to get a key during a crappy match. Even if you don't get a key, regardless of what the forum says, the tool boxes that you get will help you finish the gen during a clutch moment. Green and Purple med-kits help a lot too.
- Don't run Kindred. It is useful if you have competent teammates but you will probably go bald from all the hair you pull out from aggravation of watching your teammates hide around the hook, not doing anything other then let the hook timer get shorter. I have had so many teammates see that the killer is camping and the gens progression just comes to a standstill and just make it easier for the camper.
- Iron Will is good if you're decent at losing the killer. I put it on par to Calm Spirit for average, casual players. Calm Spirit is really good verses Doctor, Iron Maiden and Infectious Fright (which is really strong on instant-down killers).
- If you want to practice and gain experience looping, I suggest you try to find the killer at the start of the match. By the end of the match you will find that your teammates used up all the pallets and everywhere you go is a dead zone.
- Always take a med-kit, especially if you don't run Self-Care. Lots of people look down on SC because it is so slow and can cost the game if used at the wrong time, but sometimes you just need to heal and you'll regret not running it, so Med-Kits are a must if you're not running Plunderers. Inner Strength is a good alternative to SC. The only drawback is you have to find a totem to make it work.
- Always try to do the gens that are bunched up close to the center. This prevents your team from 3-genning yourselves. Doing the central gens will force the killer to walk further in order to patrol the last few gens, giving you time to work on them. It really sucks if the last gen is right next to two others, especially against Doctor or other high mobility killers.
- If you are against Trapper, Bubba or Hag, stay away from the basement. If Trapper has the add on that causes disarming traps to hurt you, don't even attempt to rescue anyone in the basement unless they were a really good teammate. If Bubba is camping, just rush gens. If its Hag, you have a chance if you run Borrowed Time, otherwise, most people just cry.
- DS is really only good if you have competent teammates that will take hits for you. I wouldn't run it solo. You're better off running Dead Hard or another exhaustion perk like Sprint Burst or Lithe to help you get away from a camping/tunneling killer.
-
Yes, more things to do as a survivor are always welcome.

I play most during the day, but decided to play a bit at night today again even though I knew this was 99% going to happen since it's every night like this. Not my smartest move I must say :^)
Yea, I don't play much past 7PM central time. I just becomes too sweaty. All I want to do is make the killer look behind trees for me while I'm going in the opposite direction.
-
You only play at night because you're a glutton for punishment.
-
No more stealth killers. We have enough.
Also, no more insta-down killers.

Unfortunately because we never know what group of survivors we might get, it seems common to expect the worst group of survivors, at least at the high ranks. It sometimes takes me a minute or two to assess which group I have - a sweaty SWF of 1s and 2s, or a mixed bag? The latter gives you more room for fun.
The problem is that it's acceptable to body block/flashlight blind/pallet drop with SWF/etc as a group or survivors to prevent a killer from getting a single hook. That's just "good play" and "killer needs to get better". But if you camp/tunnel or do anything as a killer to increase your hooks, then that's "poor play". Put another way, it's completely acceptable to embarrass a killer and make them have no fun, while the opposite is shamed.
I am not disparaging killers who don't play "nice". As I responded to someone else in this thread, I don't believe in telling others how to play. as long as they follow the Devs rules and don't hack the game, I have no problem with you going all out and doing what you need to do in order to win. I only made this thread for killers who do go out of their way and play in a manner that make the match more difficult for themselves in order to make it more enjoyable for their opponents.
I don't agree with survivors disparaging killers for camping and tunneling. Sure, it is frustrating when it happens to me, but it's not the killers fault that the devs won't change up the core mechanics of the game. I will also tunnel and camp if I have to or if I feel I got a sweaty bully swf. If they want to come in with two flashlights, a tool box to sabo and a key, thats all fine and dandy, I will camp from the start of the match because it's obvious they haven't considered my fun when they prepared their load outs.
Usually though, within the first 2-3 minutes, you can tell if you're facing a team of potatoes.

Same here. The only reason I break this rule is either A) You were Teabagging and being a dick, or B) You deliberately farmed your teammates/unhooked directly in front of me with no intention of protecting them, therefore BARE THY NECK, THOU HAST EARNED THY PUNISHMENT.
Though in the latter scenario what I try to do is slug both, get the jerk on the hook, then deliberately pick the first survivor up and let them break free. F*CK YOU, COWBOY!
Side note to OP: The sentiment is greatly appreciated - I pride myself on trying to create an experience for survivors. I don't even care if I get a single sacrifice if they play along. My favorite activities are waiting around the corner for a survivor as Mirror Myers just to make them jump out of their chair, charging blindly around corners with blight in the hopes I can spook an unsuspecting survivor, packing unlimited tier 3 Myers just so I can chase survivors without hitting them, just using the THREAT of the instadown to create excitement.
What I usually get for my troubles is 3 gens popped 1:15 into the match, flashlight clicks, butt dancing in the end gate or finding me to 360 around me and teabag when I just accept they're not interested in my spookhouse and AFK. Naturally all followed by colorful language in the endgame chat.
I quit in 2017 over the toxicity and just overall non-fun approach to gameplay in 2017. Came back a week ago and had a few fun games, then the SWF matching started and I'm just....already so tired. Two days now I've logged in, queued up, and just thought.."Nah. Think I'll duolingo instead."
But the cat helps a bit. So thanks.
I wouldn't be what you consider a horror fan and usually hate to get scared, but my goodnees, a Mirror Meyers is such a nice change in the game when I come across him. You're on your toes the whole match and just have a sense of impending doom. Even though I have no idea where he is, I end up crouch walking everywhere, knowing he can see me and nothing I do can prevent it. It's one of the few things that makes me feel like I'm experiencing DbD for the first time.
Bonus points if he is wearing the hospital gown. I may just walk to him just to try and get a peek under the robe.

That timer displays how long you have to touch the item again before the entity grabs it.........and in case nobody has ever actually used the skill before (which is a lot of people btw) its a long ass time.
Thank you for clearing that up and correcting me <3
-
It's not in the description, but when I get hit by it, a little icon for it appears and it indicates a cool down of some sort.
Even if there isn't one, just pick up and put down your item and you won't lose it.
-
Because Steve has a nicer butt and better hair.
-
Forever Freddy.
Forever healing Legion. I know we shouldn't heal against him, but playing solo, I feel like I have to since I don't trust my teams.
Swf Bully Squads who aren't interested in playing properly and are interested in trying to make me DC instead.
Hag with MYC who instantly breaks chase every time so they can go after whoever unhooked someone.
-
Killers hate it when survivors bring in keys to end a game prematurely.
Killers hate it when survivors bring in multiple tool boxes with brand new parts to end the game within 4 minutes.
Killers hate getting blinded every time they pick someone up or after getting pallet stunned.
Franklin's does have a cool down.
You can place your item in a corner so you don't lose it.
Items are not needed to finish a match.
You can run Plunderers to replenish your items, I run it every match and have 70 red maps, 60 red keys and a million of the other junk.

There would probably be more killers like that, except if you gives survivors an inch they will stretch it a mile.
You have survivors for example who, are in a basement and you are trapper at 5 gens, and they step in literally EVERY basement trap and you're going to just demolish them- so you take your traps and just let them get out and recover instead.... suddenly they turn the game around and laugh about how bad you are for messing that up, t-bag you, etc.... and you can't say anything like "I let you get out of the basement" because they are going to say like "lol sure buddy w/e you need to tell yourself" and antagonistic things like that.
They are going to still DS you, jump back in a locker, head on stun you and t-bag at a pallet.
I have actually had this happen to me. I was Trapper with Bloody Coil and got three down there. I felt bad and let them reset. One of them t-bagged. I camped them when I got them on hook. They raged in chat but one of their teammates came to my defense.

Sorry that some people have fun playing to win in a PvP game I guess.....? As a solo survivor player, my fun isn't more important than the killer's fun. If they want to play to win, slug, tunnel, etc, that is fine, because I will loop them and rush gens hard, aka, the survivor version of playing to win. Like, I can understand not wanting to be faced camped, because that is dumb, but this is a PvP game. If you really want more meme filled games, I would suggest finding like minded people to play KYF with. In most PvP games people play to win. DBD is actually the first PvP game that I have played in my almost 20 years of PC gaming where one side gets mad when other side plays to win.
Then this thread isn't for you. Dbd only has one mode and it's nice to meet random people who want to just chill during a match. I just wanted to express my gratitude to those killers who don't play like the people you describe.
Nowhere in my post do I deride people for their choice in play style, I am a firm believer in players playing how they want as long as they follow the rules that the devs have set. I am also against people who badmouth tunnelers, campers or slugging at 5 gen killers. But there is nothing wrong with survivors expressing their frustrations with those strategies either.

Tbh I wouldn't even have mind if he would have mori'd me in the end. That game was just so much fun cause I messed around some with him before, like crouching infront of his totem without touching it (he didn't want me to touch his bone(r) π)
I had a match were a Legion motioned for me to not struggle while I was on his shoulder. I ended up obeying and turned out he had Mad Grit and was just running around flailing his arm at the other survivors. It was so funny cause my teammates couldn't figure out what the hell was going on. He killed everyone and let me go, though I too would have been okay with dying.

I agree with you. with those killers it can be very annoying and problematic in solo que.
The other option would be to nerf the killers, but the devs don't know how to do that without breaking something, so buh bye Undying! It will make Devour Hope more dangerous though! I hope no one complains about it, the game needs to be a bit scarier.
-

I wish these matches were more common. Even if they kill me in the end, as long as we can sometimes mess around, I will be happy while getting stabbed.
-
Undying wasn't a problem on killers like Wraith, Demopuppy, Piggy, Bubba, Mr Cowboy, Clown or Plague. They needed it in order to not have to completely sweat and promoted them to try and go for three hook kills. The problem was when it was used by players who wanted super easy matches and paired it with high mobility killers like Spirit, Freddy and Billy. There was just no winning against them while playing solo. So yea, I am glad it's getting nerfed.

This is your usual reward for playing nice as killer
Survivors who do that are generally unclean and are doing their best to use the tea to wash of the filth that accumulates in their groin.

Generally, most of us in the higher ranks would love to be more fun and spontaneous, but with the design of the game, and the community trying literally everything to rush gens as fast as physically possible 95% of the time, we rarely get the opportunity to goof off and have some legitimate fun.
Yea, I understand that, but even in matches where I am matched with a 3 man swf and the killer has to sweat, I've had several killers still stick to playing more fun and enjoyable unless someone was toxic.
I do wish the devs would take some risks with the core game play to make it easier for killers to go for 3 hooks for each survivor, because with how things are not, it's near impossible unless you play Spirit or Nurse or are a pro Billy or Oni.

Oh my, now In that video I just feel bad for the dude trying to stop his violent raging so he can play like wth dude how about him how is he gonna play now thanks to your issues But yeah Huge_Bush I feel the same way when their is toxicity in the end game chat.
I used to get really offended when I first started playing killer. I was a total noob and would camp with wraith thinking I was clever. The salt I got in chat was enough to cover the state of Texas. People were cursing me, wishing me to die, my loved ones to get cancer and/or covid, whatever nasty things they can think of. It hurt because I was bullied for most of my childhood (I'm an old fart now), and it just brought back bad memories and I realized that these people don't know me, they're just mad they lost. They're like my 4 year old nephew who goes crazy when I don't let him play games on my phone.
Also, I was taught that when people curse others, if the person they're cursing doesn't deserve it, it goes back to the curse giver. So now I just picture these turds looking in the mirror and cursing themselves out.
-
Trapper and Spirit. Spirits phase walking for map pressure and Trappers traps for breaking loops. Survivors would have no chance.
Bubba and Hag would be good too. Hag can camp at a distance, while in chase, and Bubba can camp another poor soul on the other side of the map.
-
You can disable the endgame chat. I actually like seeing the toxicity now. It bothered me a lot in the beginning, but now I just imagine them to be children like this spoiled brat who never got properly disciplined and will be miserable late into their adulthood:

Playing against a killer designed for guarding areas sucks balls. Of course one could run urban evasion just to avoid the 1 hag you see weekly, but I'd rather just suicide on first hook and get into a potentially enjoyable game
So you'll screw over your teammates in hopes of getting an easier match. Devs catering to players like you will be the cause of this games death.
-
I looped a mediocre nurse for two gens. She got me in the end, my teammates finished the last gen and left me. I am done with console players. No more chances.
-
Self-Care. It is my crutch, but I only play solo and can't rely on my teammates. I wish it was base-kit so I could run botany instead.

Just make it like Pyramid Head's Cages...if the Killer is in close proximity long enough, the hook moves across the map
This would be my suggestion, but it should turn off once 3 gens are powered. Camping is strategic during endgame and if the survivors screwed themselves with doing gens on one side of the map, then that's their fault.

@McBubbleD1ck said:
I'm also faceing this problem. The only way i've found to get around it is to look at the survivors themselves in the lobby and if I see 2nd or 3rd prestige skins I leave the lobby and search for another one. This obvioulsy doesnt work with survivor skins as theres no way to tell if there prestiged or not. an easy way for the devs to fix the SWF issue this game has is to matchmake from the lowest ranked killer within the party.
e.g if there is a party with a rank 2,8,18 the matchmaking will look for a killer for the rank 2 not the rank 18.
I understand this makes it harder for the newer player but if the rank 2 got to that rank from actually being good at the game then they will be able to take hits and pull the killer away from the higher ranked player.
First, Holy Necro Batman!
Secondly, cosmetics and prestige are no indication of how good someone is. I am terrible and I'm P3 just from the unhealthy amount I play.
The only way to improve matchmaking is to figure out how to properly rank players based on their skill. The problem this game has is it's near impossible to do due to how heavy rng is. With how slow the devs are to do anything, don't get your hopes up.
Also, since there are a lack of killers, the game will continue to match low ranking killers vs high ranking survivors no matter how improved the match making becomes. They will always prioritize shorter wait times for survivors over fair matches for killer. They can fix this by making killer more enjoyable to play, but to do that, they'd have to stop hand holding bad survivors.

Imagine having a creative mode where you could make your own maps and then play them in KYF
I don't even need a creative mode. I'm not a big fan of shooters, but fornite was fun for a bit because the devs changed it up a bit. They introduced modes like "the floor is lava" where players had to combat each other while avoiding the rising lava by going to higher ground while collecting resources to build up. The had another mode where the storm would move around and force you to move in different directions while you rode on a fun hover board.
Those are just a few examples of switching up the game play and Behavior needs to take notes. It's why everyone was so upset with the last Halloween non-event. The game play is stale, a new killer every 3 months can only do so much, and even then, it's really only exciting for about a week. They better stop being afraid to change things up and introduce new mechanics, items-even one time use items such as fireworks, environmental hazards on the map that can positively or negatively effect both killers and survivors depending on the situation (think frozen ground that will let you slide rapidly across the map but with little control).
-
I don't hate versing her unless she runs MyC and my teammates aren't total potatoes. If she is running MyC the match then becomes a nightmare since she can instantly down the rescuer and people will think twice before attempting a save, if they save at all.
I'm a filthy urban evader who doesn't run meta perks except for Spine Chill, so my play style counters Hag. It just sucks when I rescue someone and they don't crouch and trigger her trap. Also, most survivors are like me, we can't loop well at all and getting a free hit makes us go down even faster.
