I did NOT say you were saying that, I said that would end up being the end result of your suggestions. You taking it that way is all your doing. I never touched league of legends and i never commented on anything about league because i know next to nothing about it. obviously you don't like what you think you read into what i said. so you will never back down from a position that is not tenable and an idea that isn't going to work in this game.

I just don't understand why even respond like that if you're not implying that's what I'm speaking. No dev in their right mind is just going to be changing stuff back and forth. So whether or not you were under the impression that's what I'm saying, your response is more or less pointless. I don't see what reason you have to be asking me "so do we change every single one?" and "do we realize the real issue is that we are talking about catering to EVERYONE that doesn't like something." You're just taking this hypothetical situation and acting like the devs are just going to go and make rapidfire changes. That's the only reason I was under the impression you were just reading what I said wrong: I don't understand where what you're saying is even coming from.

What I "don't like" is the fact that you're just acting like you know how everything would pan out if this were to be accepted as an official feature. It's insane to me that you have the gall to say something like "so you will never back down from a position that is not tenable" when you're making a claim completely out of your imagination about how you think a system like this would go down and acting like what you're saying is fact. You said yourself you didn't comment on League of Legends because you have no idea about any of that, but it's a shining example that what you're saying is gonna happen wouldn't happen. The devs are smart enough to only take the data they see as that: data. They don't just go making changes back and forth because people cry for it, and when they do, its the devs wanting it. Not the players.

oh I read it.. and with thousands of people that you alter one then they start saying alter x or revert the alterations. it's happened here too.... only because people didn't want the new changes. this is another reason allowing people to "ban" from their games certain killers or maps is a mistake. why? because 1) people are fickle and change their minds a great deal, 2) people as a rule are stupid when it comes to herd mentality much like lemmings (notice i used general terms not specific) and finally 3) it's pointless. you don't want to face one killer, then play with your friends, you get everything at all times so you don't need blood points and forget the "ranked" aspect. when you play only with your friends you can make that rule and it doesn't affect anyone else but them.

Regardless of if you read what I said or not you still seem to be treating it like I'm saying that the developers have to listen to every opinion of every person, and consider every single person banning a character. That isn't what I'm saying.

Somebody else brought up League of Legends, and I used to play that a lot and remember a time a character named Kassadin had literally a 99% ban rate or something crazy like that because he was just too much for other people to go against and it was blatantly unfair. The numbers spoke in that situation pretty clearly. If a similar situation were to happen in DbD and the devs had the data, they wouldn't have to change every killer just because somebody bans them. It would just be another piece of data they could look at, like the stuff they do now.

As for the consequences of longer queue times and all that I already stated how I feel about that. Trying to play a stronger killer, or annoying killer for that matter, even without any "bans" or anything you'll still run into more games where people are less inclined to try if they don't want to. I'm also personally into playing many different killers and I'm of the opinion that if somebody wants to "main" a character and only play that character in most game's they'd be setting themselves up for disappointment. As a result, I think it's healthy to get into several characters and try different things out. Naturally the system would punish players who only like to abuse the most strong or toxic things, as the system would end up banning those sorts of things, but that's the kind of price a highly contested pick would have to pay sometimes. And I think it's a small price to pay personally.

And no, I don't just want to only play with a couple friends for the rest of my time playing DbD, thank you very much. I'm not much of a people person anyway.

But once again, don't try to twist what I'm saying to make it sound like I think "every killer that gets banned must have a problem and has to be looked at. I don't even understand where you're getting that stuff from.

"if someone is going to "ban" something then it needs to be changed. i know a great many survivors and each one has a different killer they don't want to face. so do we change every single one? or do we realize the real issue is that we are talking about catering to EVERYONE that doesn't like something. if we continue to cater to people like this then we'll change one thing one day then revert the change the next! I mean if you want to run a game like that please do so but i won't play it, why? because things will change on a whim and make game play unstable and unnecessarily hard in the fact that it will constantly change because someone didn't like X, Y or Z and then someone else didn't like that change so it got reverted.

You're just reading into things that aren't there. Nowhere did I say every single killer that anybody were to "ban" would have to change. It's an obvious point that I'm not sure how you missed: high ban rates might indicate a certain problem at times. Stop trying to stretch what I'm trying to say.

That's a good question. 2x BP is great and all, but a lot of people jump on that and farm as much as possible. Farming matches are fine if you're just after the points, but they really ruin the game for people who want to play normally. It's not a big deal usually since they're only four days long, but since this one is three weeks long, we don't want it to get in the way of normal gameplay for that long.

I don't really make my own posts on here but I feel like this is appropriate enough of a place to say: it's really awesome that you guys listened to and are thinking about the community. It's a nice surprise. :)

  • I agree with Fibi that matchmaking shouldn't be based on hours. I forgot how many hours I actually have in this game but I can guarantee you there's people that take it more seriously, and therefore, would get more learning out of their hours and be better more than likely if they were at equal hours to me. Number of hours isn't a direct correlation to skill. Not that the current system is flawless, but changing it to an hour based system might be even worse.

  • I wouldn't count on it. There's plenty of things that are annoying but they'll only really focus on one or two things at a time it seems. Pig has been in an awful state for a long time where she's not even that great of a killer and it's really easy to play toxic with her, yet she's remained untouched pretty much since EGC came into existence.

  • Because people don't like to have fun, they like easy wins. That's why Nurse was almost all you'd see high ranks before she got the nerf hammer.

Just ignore them. Huntress is a different killer so I don't see any point it that comment. It's like taking a dump on Bubba by saying "Billy yawns" or some bs. Even if one killer is better it doesn't mean no one can have fun playing some killers , even if they are not "top tier".

    You did nice there.

I come here personally to add to a discussion and whatnot, but... When I see comments like that, it does truly make me wonder what other people are even commenting for...

Like ok, your killer is better..? That adds nothing to the conversation.

  • I think it's a good idea simply because if you're not for it then you're going to have to deal with people who don't want to play against you anyway and deal with *even more* queues and/or people disconnecting or letting themselves die on hook, or simply not trying.

I also agree with the idea that if a lot of people are "banning" something then that probably indicates that said thing needs to be changed. I don't see a ton of Nurse for example, but I still would rather just have the option to not play against her than have to get into a game with her and have that "sigh here we go again against her, time to hold m1 brainlessly on something until it's over." Because that's how Nurse games feel to me. And if a killer makes somebody feel like that for several people and is constantly getting banned... Well... I think you see the point.

The way I see it anyway, if somebody is so "bad" and that's the only reason they don't want to play against a killer, then they probably should be playing against easier killers anyway, and the people that are comfortable handling a killer will give that killer a better fight too. Would give a reason for people to play less popular killers as well, to not have to suffer through trash queue times for playing a boring killer.

Again, all just my opinion, but I just see it as, if you're not for something like this you're just accepting the other side of it, which is the decreased quality in your games.

  • Don't sit in an after game lobby and complain that you're getting crap in the chat. That's the biggest reason to just move on to the next game afterward, not sit and read chat.

It's just baffling to me that you say you play in a toxic way like this on, what seems like, a regular basis, and then complain about the community is toxic..? You said yourself you aren't helping the situation. In my opinion you're just doing things that are inviting back that exact toxicity you hate.

Even I, once in a while, camp, tunnel, or might end up using NOED (I don't really as of now or in the past) because I know there's certain situations where it's smart to do. But to change your playstyle and just do that *as a rule* is just kind of... sad... to me.

  • Well there's a point sometimes. Often times I'll know somebody is coming or in the area, or even better yet, when there's two people, one trying to tug me away while the other is trying to go for the unhook. In a situation like that I find it hard not to camp and survivors will still whine at me afterwards.

But yeah, being camped otherwise is annoying. I just got slugged by a Deathslinger like 3 or 4 times and got half my bleedout bar drained because for some reason (I honestly don't play toxic or bring super strong stuff, IDK why) he decided to keep knocking me down and not hook me, but also not let me play. I just don't get peoples' playstyles sometimes.

  • Yeah but it depends on how you're doing it. Tunneling can just as easily lead to a pretty decent advantage as it can lead to a complete throw of your game. I can think of several situations where you wouldn't want to tunnel one person down. It really just depends on the situation, but no it's not "one of the only ways."

  • LOL, I wish I had your problems. I have the exact opposite. People who want me to get as little points as possible. Even getting first hooked, tunneled, and mori'd or focused down with an active pig trap on my head.

  • I wouldn't take the whole "use your ears and not your eyes" advice too literally. It's not completely wrong but you can still pick up important visual queues. You can still see grass moving, or the bulrush or whatever it's called in the swamps. If I remember correctly, I think you can even see crows flying so you can see which direction a survivor is going. All those things help you tell exactly where you'd want to strike, not just audio.

  • Honestly I do think Pig needs to be looked at, for the reason of the toxic gameplay. I don't often face them but when I do most of the time they're just putting a trap on my head and then tunneling the hell out of me, whether it be intentionally or because my team mates magically always know where to run to bring the killer to me. Especially when I'm on a box trying to get my trap off. I really wouldn't be disappointed if they looked at her before Clown or Bubba. Not that I think they don't deserve it, but I at least have more fun playing as and against either of those two characters than Pig right now.

I’m a completionist. I literally have to complete everything this tome/rift if I don’t I will literally be bother by it. I can’t leave something halfway done. I’ve been at tier 70 for weeks now, but I still have to complete the rift. If it’s incomplete it’s unacceptable D:

I don't disagree with you that it would be fair to decrease the price of a character if you already own the perks, because that's exactly why I don't use the shrine. I'm a completionist too and I feel like if I want to have everything possible then that includes the characters. I figure even if I don't want them, something might come up in the future where I might end up wanting them. And this is the type of situation I was prepared for.

Anyway, I think another thing they could do, and admittedly I'm "stealing" this from another post I've seen in the past, but the idea was to give the player a "trial perk/character" to play only while they have said challenge active, and once they finish it, the trial ends/is taken away. You still wouldn't have the character but it would at least solve the problem of people not being able to complete the challenges just because they don't have the character.

  • Honestly, I get a lot of people complaining about my complaining most times I have an opinion on something. Every single time I find it ironic how they're complaining about my complaining and don't realize they're complaining themselves...

No I am going to call them that because their arguments dont line up with the reality of the current game.

I wouldn't be saying that when what you say doesn't line up with reality in general. But due to that, there's really nothing more to say. Have fun inflicting pain on yourself.

  • Don't bother, guys. He just is going to call anybody who disagrees with him a survivor main to disregard what they say even if they had directly said they're not a survivor main.

  • Not a survivor main, and I agree with him. Go play something else if you can't handle playing the game long enough to see through a round. Something single player you can shut off at any time.

Also want to add, if I had to pick any change to make to the DC penalty, it'd be to increase it. I see people blatantly DCing from both sides' perspectives. I'm talking like just going down in the most normal way possible (getting chased down and hit twice by an M1 killer like Trapper or something) and then just immediately disconnecting. Or right when they're getting picked up or something. It's not fun as a survivor to have a team of 3, and it's not fun as a killer to just play against a team that isn't full.

I also payed money, and more than them. Doesn't that mean that my opinion is more valid than theirs? Also, why should I get deleted out of a game when I payed money to play too?

This is the problem with this argument. I payed to play, not sit at a lobby because somebody else is a jerk to me. Especially when I don't abuse the system.

It's because that's how games function sometimes. Like in League of Legends or Overwatch, two of the most popular games I could think of, both have death timers. If people don't want to play easy then it's just something that happens.

  • I don't think they would make using the options they themselves put into the options menu would ever lead to a ban. That goes for practically any game development team.

I'm saying ditch this excuse and give me the real reason.

I onow I can't change people. I'm saying that "I spend money, I can play how I want" is a completely invalid excuse since just about everyone did.

I think that is a pretty legitimate reason. I'm not one to purposely play like a jerk most of the time, but they paid money, and they're doing things that are within the rules of the game. If you have a problem with them being a jerk then fine, but if they paid the money they can play the game as long as they follow the rules. It's not hacking or anything.

  • @SurviveByDaylight said:

Man, and people complain because DS lasts too long. They want 30 seconds instead of 60. I think it needs 60 plus being made available EVERY time you get off the hook. I don’t want to come in the game and look at myself on a hook the whole game or get Mori’d right after I’ve been unhooked because the killer faked going away from the hook by billy/spirit phasing out and billy/spirit phasing back 😂 I don’t know if that’s really fair considering the fact that I didn’t get a chance to run away. And ebony Mori denies DS. It denies your ability to play a game you’ve paid for. Regardless of how much I don’t think it’s realistically fun for your fan base to queue up for a match and have it stripped from you that fast. Killer should have to hook EVERYONE once first imo before mori anyone. Just dirty players out there 😂 I don’t think hook camping benefits anyone. But if you’re gonna make DS a one time use it should at least be an easier skill check lol I want two uses just like the brand new part gets two hard skill checks! It’s not about me getting a free stun on a killer, it’s about letting me continue to play the game if a teammate is taking the time to pull me off the hook rather than do objectives. the killer should feel encouraged more to get other people.

I hope this is just bait lol

  • I'm not here to say that it's definitely a serious threat or anything, but no matter if it's a 14 year old, a 24 year old, or a 104 year old, people shouldn't be saying those sorts of things. And they probably should be held accountable. Only somebody who was raised wrong or is mentally unstable will ever be saying things like that regardless, and obviously needs to be taught somehow else.

I think it was League of Legends where somebody said something about "shooting up a school" as a joke, whether you think that's in good taste or not is up to you. Anyway, he got tracked down and arrested, for something like that. This isn't a far shot off from that.

Anyway yeah. Do or don't do whatever, I just came here to add that in: I don't think it's as stupid as people are making it out to be.

  • I don't even need to read any of this to answer: no. The problem lies with humans feeling entitled to just end a game whenever they see fit. Just like the friend that gets mad and turns off the console when you're playing games together. BHVR can't fix that.

  • I think it's silly to focus on something that's borderline meaningless like pips when they don't do anything, when there's actual problems, like Pig being able to essentially be a less efficient "old Legion" (where they used to moonwalk "chase" people and bleed them out) with her helmets and ######### like that. Actual gameplay problems.

  • Since bloodweb related things are being discussed like the mori offerings and stuff, I figure it's appropriate to post something that I've mentioned before a time or two in other posts:

I feel like the stuff that we need to get from bloodwebs needs to be cheaper. I don't just mean across the board either, I mean we need to on average get the lower tier stuff. It would save a lot of the bloodpoints we would need to grind through to get through bloodwebs and level characters, and we wouldn't have people just stockpiling tons of ebony moris or anything, and same thing with survivors and their purple medkits, stypic agents, and syringes and whatnot.

To go hand in hand with this, I think killers' add ons should be focused more around the way that Hag, Doctor, or Michael work. I don't feel like enough killers have things that make the game interesting for them, and rather they have add ons that just says "do X thing Y amount better" like charge add ons for chainsaws. I think it's cool how Hag has an add on that changes her power to not alert survivors of tripping a phantasm. Or Michael's mirror add on allowing him to stay tier 1 and play peekaboo. Or Doctor the way he can add different effects to his shocks, or change the shape of them. That's how I think killer add ons should be: some variety and fun stuff mixed in along with things to just be stronger.

Maybe not all will agree, but I personally just try to play the game for fun. I don't think every add on and every single thing needs to be super competitively viable or perfect. Sometimes I just enjoy having a nice supremely meme game of DbD.

  • Unless you're mori-ing off first hook + instant down and then calling me dumb in the end game chat like what just happened in my last game, I wouldn't be giving -rep. I don't get some people.

  • I just went against a Deathslinger and first 20 seconds of the match I get onto the middle gen on the balcony of Mother's Dwelling (with the grass growing around it) and I see this Nea get M1-harpoon-M1 combo'd and then she just disconnects. Just a couple days ago I had a game where this Jane just disconnected really early, first time getting downed too. I think it also might have been against Deathslinger, around the time he first came out.

I don't understand what's wrong with people but honestly at this point I'm starting to think the DC penalties aren't harsh enough despite what I see some people saying.

  • Because any time I play survivor I don't want to deal with team mates constantly DCing in spite of the DC penalty they added, which, by the way, is way too harsh according to some people I've seen here in the forums.

  • Man, I never have once used DS because I just try to avoid boring choices. I just wish I had the experiences these other people are having, because half the games I play at least I'm wishing I had DS because I can't get the killer to stop going after me, and I'm just trying to do a challenge where I have to finish a heal or something.

Just be glad you don't have the unfortunate awful luck of having the killers on your ass so much you can't catch a break to do anything other than run pretty much.

  • That's why you just don't stick around for endgame chat. I play the game to enjoy the game. Not to deal with morons. Once it's over, I have no reason to stay because if you even stay to say GG, you get something like that a lot.

And no, don't bring up the devs here. The only fault lies with the person who's being entitled. The devs have no control over that.

  • I wouldn't put it past BHVR to do "ancient" or "historic" kind of killers. I mean, there's a lot of history when it comes to things like Oni, or how Hag is a wendigo, which is based in folklore. Especially if they want to keep releasing new and interesting or different killers, they'll probably get around to something of the sort again.

  • @Oicimau said:

Doesnt Stridor enhances grunts and breathing in a %? So, if you have IW 3 you have 0 grunt. And any % of zero is zero.

    Doesnt it work that way?

If so, IW or Off the Record are counters to Stridor, except for the breathing sound.

Stridor adds the %. So if you have IW which takes away 100%, Stridor adding the 50% afterward means 0% + 50% = 50%

That's at least how I've heard it explained.

  • I don't make a habit of "teabagging" at the exit gate but usually if I think the killer is coming I'll sit there and maybe crouch once or twice to let them know I'm giving them a free hit.

Anyway, I don't think it should be determined by the killer doing a specific thing like hitting on the hook. Sometimes I'll just do it to "cancel" a survivor's annoying scream. I've also seen other killers that just literally do it every single time they hook somebody for some reason.

  • I get the opposite effect because I switch my perks a lot. You can bet your buns since I never run sprint burst, the moment I put it on and get into a game, it's gonna get wasted by me sprinting in the first second of the game.

  • @OtakuBurrito said:

Honestly unless I'm playing SFW I'm not playing survivor anymore. I just don't like being left to die on hook for the sake of getting a gen done. Which I wouldn't mind if it wasn't seemingly every game. So if you play a lot of Legion, Myers, or Ghostface throw some tips at me. I might stream in the future since I do like some back seat gaming, but the way my anxiety is set up probably not...

If you're like me and can't handle other peoples' stupidity, don't stay for end game chat. Do poorly or do well, there's more than likely going to be some loser in end game chat that feels obligated to put you down for whatever reason they come up with in their head.

  • The community in general just tends to be toxic douchebags for no reason. Not saying "in DbD community = toxic" but I've had several times, usually when a survivor/team of survivors think they're hot stuff and talk trash in end game chat, where people just bash for no real reason.

Like I just had a game where I did poorly because I played too nice early on, and then I said something about "that's what I get for playing too nicely." Even a line as simple as that is enough to get people to pounce and be toxic. One even bringing up something along the lines of "why are you even talking, you're rank 15" (because I had just started playing killer again recently since I focused on the survivor tome challenges first.) On top of willingly letting people go here and there because, ya know, I got my challenge done for the match or whatever, keeping my rank down, rank reset barely happened a while ago. Yet this absolute titan of intellect brings up the stunning reality that my rank is 15, therefore anything I have to say is invalid, and I must be mad. This isn't just survivors that do this, but I think it just seems like it is more often because there's more of them I go against when I play the opposing side. And for some reason they end up thinking they're hot stuff as I said, which I don't get the same vibe from a lot of killers except sometimes Nurses.

I don't know. I guess posting about it is kind of "giving a reaction" which is what they want, but my reaction isn't as much of anger, but it concerns me how downright stupid people can be. Just a good reminder of why I don't ever stick around for end game chat, whether I'm playing as killer or survivor.

This comment got a little long-winded, but my point is that the whole "toxic killer" or "toxic survivor" thing usually will boil down to people like that. As much as I'd like to just be able to remove children like that from the game and not allow them to play, it's just a simple fact that people in general are toxic so it's something that's inherent with playing a game with others.

  • Warframe's doing it, and according to another commenter, Battlefront 2 is doing it. But no, it's a crime if people bring it up as a possibility. The smell of "holier than thou" is strong.

To be honest I have never seen a comment like that. If you find a thread/comment, pls let me know. The only thing I noticed is others claiming that killers expect common 4k's

I've said it about myself several times. I mostly care about having fun. Part of that comes from success but more just because I feel good about accomplishing it. That's why I try to avoid really strong killers that just make the game feel easy, like Nurse (to me at least, because I know I'm gonna rustle some jimmies with that one.) Same goes with killer perks, like pre rework hex: ruin.

The most part of what lets me have fun is just not having to rely on team mates. I don't want to restrict myself to only playing with friends to play my main role, and either way I just feel more often than not your average person on your team is going to let you down, and it's more rare to find somebody who makes more good plays than bad ones. When I play killer, the interaction is in my hands for the most part, and if there's a mess up then it's nobody's fault but mine. At the same time, if something goes wrong, even if it's my fault, I don't have the pressure of letting anybody down.

  • Whether or not it's annoying or toxic doesn't change the fact that it's been deemed time and time again within the rules.

  • @NullEXE said:

    I strongly believe that bad players should not be allowed to post on the forums. Some things you all need to know;

    • Freddy is weak. He is easy to counter, easy to loop, all of his abilities come with visual and sound notifications. Literally his terror radius is BIGGER when you fall asleep, and you don't even get slowed down unless he has slow down add ons - which have been nerfed into the ground that they also don't even matter.
    • His biggest counter is just to wake up. Which is very simple, just don't be stupid and fail a skill check to wake up.
    • Forever Freddy was never, and never will be a strong build. It didn't even bother good survivors, because they rarely stayed asleep for long anyways.

I find it funny that BHVR can rework a killer to make them balanced, and then you suddenly can tell the difference of a bad survivor or good survivor by just having them answer "Do you like facing Freddy?". Like to me, I don't see him as any more annoying than any other Killer. Heck I would take facing Freddy over Huntress any day. Throw a good Huntress at a good survivor, and huntress wins because you can't just dead brain safe loop her. However all other killers in the game if you know how they work, you just safe loop them till they either give up on your or all the gens are done.

Stopped reading after the first line. Silencing people based on such a petty thing just isn't the answer. If you don't take an opinion seriously because of somebody's experience, fair enough. But come on that's just petty.

  • If the person DCs at the start of a match, it's not a full game to begin with and you shouldn't care much about the end result. Beyond that, it is just kind of nit picking to try to differentiate between somebody saying they got a "3k" or a "2k and a disconnect" if somebody disconnected mid match. It's the same reason I would say if I had a friend come over and play a game versus me (any game, not DbD) and they quit and stopped playing mid match, I would count it as me winning, because I made them quit.

  • The killer is supposed to do whatever's smartest to achieve what they want to do. If your goal is to sacrifice the survivors, you could just ignore/eat the DS and get it out of the way. Then you won't have to slug. Or you could just slug, and not give a damn what the survivors have to say about it.

Plus you're not always going to know who has DS, especially because it can be anywhere from 0 to 4 players in a match.

  • I don't get this mentality. I wouldn't even say I hate Freddy. I'd rather play against him than Nurse in most cases, or even Spirit, even though I'm not a Spirit hater either.

I just wanted to say it's not easy to stay awake. Not only can you only be awake for a minute at the very maximum because of the timer you're put on, but alarm clocks are specifically designed to spawn at the furthest location from you possible. If you are in one corner of the map, the clock will always be in the furthest corner from where you are. So it's not always reasonable to do that, especially because being too slow wastes too much time, but sprinting through the middle of the map could easily get you seen by Freddy anyway and get you attacked. On top of all that, if you weren't asleep often enough, Freddy instantly puts you to sleep if he hits you. Not to mention I'm pretty sure you can only get woken up otherwise by failed skillchecks (if he allows it by not bringing his add on that cancels that) or by having an *already awake* person wake you up, which takes longer and longer if you do it many times.

In other words, it's not as easy to counter as "just wake up."

See, I thought of something like that before, but its not really different than just a disconnect. It can be abused against killers too, because if you're downed more than once, odds are very likely that the bar reaches halfway in normal gameplay. Allowing survivors to yeet out at that point doesnt grant the killer any emblem points. Sure, the killing factor grants 2 points regardless, but you could literally bait a killer to come pick you up, and bleed out before he is able to pick you up, which wastes killer time. The whole reason I made it as complex as it is, is because its meant to be a last resort, not something to be used in regular gameplay.

I understand. I just fail to see why it's a problem when people have that same option on the hook anyway. I agree it's not entirely different from a disconnect, but it's not like it isn't already a thing in a different way. Plus just out of personal preference, I'd rather have to face that as killer than have to face being slugged until bleedout again as survivor. People already "waste the killer's time" with regular disconnects so they'll do it regardless. But again, that's just my personal preference. I acknowledge not everybody may think like I do.

  • Just make bleeding out the same as being hooked. Once the bar is halfway gone, allow survivors to bleed out/let go. If they allow people to let themselves go on the hook, I don't see the huge problem with allowing people who are halfway bled out and just crawling around to end their games early too and move on.

I only say this because as I said before, they already have a similar option available when a survivor is hooked, and because any time I find myself playing survivor and get to bleed out that much, it's usually because my team mates don't plan on helping me any time soon. Even recently I've died of purely bleeding out because my team mates wouldn't come over and pick me up, without even being hooked.
