  • I slightly dislike that it feels like there's not really much delay between his shocks now and I have trouble being able to use windows/pallets when he's just holding W and spamming shock. Other than that, I don't have a ton of problems with him so far.

This topic is redundant, it's a dumb idea not a nice idea, stop suggesting more gamebreaking recommendations/ideas, game is in a rough spot as it is

And you don't have to take it seriously. Or even respond. My point is it's pretty sad that you have to take the time to respond to something like this in this manner. Whether you think something is redundant, dumb, or whatever your little closed mind can think of, is irrelevant. Believe it or not, you're not the center of the universe so your thoughts have no influence on what his intentions actually are.

People are allowed to post things like this here if they want. Even if it's on the wild side. It's just sad that you have to be miserable enough to trash on somebody's idea in such a fashion.

Look at what TAG said. Would it really be that hard to state how you feel in that sort of fashion? "This is not how you pay respects to the tragic passing of a well-known celebrity." It's just hilarious how you have to be such a sourpuss with the whole "some people should not be allowed to make decisions in this world" thing. Especially after saying such a stupid backwards thing like "celebrating" after his death. People have events when people die all the time to commemorate them. That doesn't mean they're "celebrating" their death. And if you don't think that they're celebrating HIS DEATH SPECIFICALLY, then what's even the problem? Let people remember somebody they knew in a way that comforts them. You don't have to be a damper on them.

  • People don't seem to understand what tunneling is. If somebody else has time to get downed unhooking you, then you have time to get away while the killer is attacking them.

If your mate doesn't have borrowed time, blame them if you get instant downed again. It's still not tunneling if somebody else is deciding to unhook you right in front of the killer. That's just the killer taking the opportunity that's been handed to them on a silver platter. Survivors shouldn't be able to just have hook immunity for a full 60 seconds and act untouchable. It wouldn't be as bad being 60 seconds if the games lasted longer, but in 60 seconds a single survivor can get the majority of a gen complete. Stack that on multiple survivors and then it starts not being about "tunneling" but rather the fact that if most of them have it, then they have huge amounts of time where you really can't do anything but slug them to stop their gen progress. Some will even hide in locks and whatnot just so you can't and you're forced to go for a grab.

It just isn't about anti-tunnel with a 60 second timer. It's been reworked and designed to be an ANTI-TUNNELING perk. When it starts being used for causes beyond that, maybe it's time to realize that it's not exactly in the best state.

I'm not even against the overall effect, but just like Tofu (I think it was him) said, I would just be fine with them taking like 15 seconds off of it so it would be a more manageable 45 seconds or something.

  • Some streamer (still remember which one too) accused me of "hatch camping" when there was just us 2 alive, she was on death hook, and I happened to know where the hatch was on the Ormond resort thing so I ran over and took it. Then got demeaned in chat when I tried explaining that I just saw the hatch earlier and ran to it when it was the streamer was getting death hooked.

I was still a new player at the time with probably less than 100 hours in the game and had no idea if "hatch camping" was even a real thing.

  • In case you're not joking, people with knowledge of the game generally see clown as one of the worst killers.

    So no.

  • I get that it's not the most balanced gameplay idea but...

OP is just trying to throw out a nice idea. You're honestly too much of a snowflake for the net if you think it's insulting or whatever, what OP is saying. That or you just don't have anything better to do than be cynical about random people. He just wants a little "commemoration" thing. He's OBVIOUSLY not trying to celebrate the fact that Kobe passed.

    @hocrux said:

So basically we celebrating the fact that we kobe when it happened right after his tragic death? Some people should not be allowed to make decisions in this world.

    @Eye66 said:

That is the worst idea I've heard in awhile and insulting to the tragedy on top of it

Give it a rest and don't be such a sourpuss.

  • When doing a challenge and somebody snatches what you need right from in front of your face, ending your chances of doing the challenge for the game. (Safe unhook during end game collapse or whatever)

  • People try to make a lot of things sound toxic and really if you ask me the only thing that matters is if you really meant for it to even be.

Doing the challenge? That's fine. It's not the same as somebody running around doing literally nothing all game but hook breaking in the killer's face and teabagging or something.

  • I'm not gonna get into the state of the game kind of talk, but I'll just start with saying that the best place to start is probably you. I don't mean that to be a jerk, so I'll explain.

I notice you said that you drop chases when they go on too long and otherwise get pretty quick downs and stuff. Sounds like you have the right mindset and know what you should be doing so I won't turn it into a big lesson about that stuff, but what I feel like DbD comes down to is in-the-moment decision making mostly. If you know what you want to do, then all it takes is right decisions during loops and whatnot to really solidify that. Since you say you're new to killer, I just say try just watching/continuing watching high tier killer youtubers (Otzdarva is one of my favorite) and just pick up little tips that they talk about in their videos and watch their maneuvers. They do certain tricks so often that it's pretty easy to pick things up, and with that you should already rise more in the ranks.

All that being said, I'll finish with reminding you that as killer you don't really have a "team" relying on you. That's part of why I like it, because I don't have the pressure of letting people down. That's what helps me not feel stressed when I play killer. Also I think it's a good idea, what that person said about treating it like "training." Just take each game/mistake as a lesson and eventually with a little time you'll know all the little tricks survivors try and at least up to mid ranks it should feel like a cake walk.

Good luck climbing, hopefully you'll find better matchmaking luck and whatnot out there.

"It's out of control because people are doing challenges" ???

    Dude that´s a Joke or ?... i mean siriously i can´t believe that

    i need a break .....

I don't think he's kidding. The first time was like that, where the challenge took control of your game and made you do things just to get the rewards for it. It's unfortunate that they had to make some of the challenges so hard. People just want their stuff.

  • I think it's because of the stigma of people thinking she's actually bad now. I will admit she probably is just because of some bugs but I'm not a Nurse player so I haven't played her at all post update, and can't say for sure. I still don't think a fully functioning Nurse current version would be bad.

  • The closest thing I've done is just make my survivor scream over and over against a hostage Doc who refused to actually chase or kill anybody out of boredom to try to get him to come chase (but hopefully not kill) me.

I'm not some ape that just will jump through a window for like 30 seconds to be annoying, but some people will spam a couple rushed vaults or something for similar reasons. Trying to get the killer to come chase.

  • I think a big reason both "sides" are toxic is because people view others as being on a "side."

Unless somebody is a dedicated survivor or killer player (Like the way SpaceCoconut almost exclusively plays Hag/killer) then it's really unfair to group them in with "survivor mains" or "killer mains" because that just turns into an excuse to make assumptions about somebody because "(survivor/killer) mains are so entitled and always think X, Y, and Z!"

I prefer to think of people as just players. With individual thoughts. Even within "maining" a role, people have different opinions about the game.

  • @oxygen said:

Obviously more people will "cross the line" when controversial changes get announced and people are passionate about what's happening.

From fairly understandable heated arguements going a little too far when people are passionate enough, to legitimately ascended garbage like justifying/encouraging review bombing or just mindlessly attacking BHVR in a way that's far from constructive.

I like the way you put it. Pretty much what I was gonna say.

It makes perfect sense to me that there's a lot of people getting banned when there's constantly people recently trying to bypass the language filter, and insulting each other, and constantly commenting with completely irrelevant things, and trying to start arguments with people, and just generally being children. There's still plenty of people complaining about things they're unhappy with, me being one of them, and I haven't been bothered. I doubt a lot of other people complaining civilly have been bothered either.

It's not cheating, as the devs say it's fine. It does go against the very nature of the game they developed, however, which is just weird.

I'm fine with people thinking it's an advantage because obviously playing with friends in any capacity is an advantage in most games, as long as you don't have friends that are bad at the game. I'm even fine with BHVR bringing solo survivors more information to bring them up to par, although I have to say to be careful because killers already whine about how much information SWF get... Anyway I just don't understand when people say it's cheating. If SWF was cheating the devs wouldn't just put it as an option in their menu and be like "everyone go wild and cheat!" That would be like having a direct link to aim bot software in Counter Strike menus.

People asked for nurse add-ons nerf.. not her basekit

People told you before release that MOm was broken... You ignored.

SWF is literally cheating... You haven't done sht about.

    You care nothing.

But it's not cheating. Then it wouldn't be a feature in the game.

  • I've seen some people on the forums recently complaining about BBQ, even one person comparing it to the strength of decisive strike and borrowed time. It isn't that strong.

It's useful, and has plenty of counterplay. The generator aura only is in front of the survivor if they position right and as mentioned above, only one person can do it on a gen at any given time. Lockers are also a thing that block it but either one of these ways you're getting people to stop working on what they're doing. The auras are also just ambiguous enough if a person or two is missing, that it gives the killer a reason to believe somebody might be hiding around close by. I just don't understand why people complain about BBQ as much as I see.

It's because Corrupt Intervention is on a timer while the game itself is not. Survivors can choose to stealth around until Corrupt Intervention deactivates; accomplishing nothing during those two minutes doesn't hurt them unless they're bad at stealth and bump into the killer. Only Trapper and Hag benefit from two minutes of nothing happening.

Because Ruin is not on a timer, survivors are forced to do something, whether that's work through Ruin or find the totem.

If the game had a timer that put pressure on survivors, Corrupt Intervention would be better.

Its mainly due to 2 things:

    1. RNG If there are 4 gens equally far away it randomly chooses 3 with no consern for map blockers making the effective distance to any of the 4 much further then the others.
    2. Its buggy example: On rotten fields i have had it block off 2 far away gens and 1 near by despite me being able to see the other gen's aura in the opposite corner of the map from me(Furthest possible distance) NOT BEING BLOCKED BEHIND IT!

OK that makes sense. I haven't gotten to use the perk myself yet because Plague is one of the few killers I've yet to unlock. I'd believe it too, DbD is a buggy game indeed.

you missed the point of 95% of the complaints.

we are NOT complaining about the nerf itself (imo thats a pretty cool idea actually) - we are complaining about them taking away the #1 tool to slow down early game, but dont do ######### to help us compensate for that.

their timing is god awful. they should not touch ruin until they finally come up with an idea to fight genrush - and especially early game is important for that.

THATS what we are complaining about - the time they implement this nerf.

sure, there would also be complaints when they release the ruin rework together with secondary objectives (or any other way to actually slow down the game), but these wouldnt have been nearly as bad as the huge shitstorm that has been going on now.

oh and have you read the dev notes? those were super survivor biased. so thats another thing that set many players, including me, off.

Any time I read something like this all I can think is "corrupt intervention."

I'm not even asking to be a sarcastic jerk, but why is that not an option? I've seen it compared to ruin and also suggested as an alternative by other players, even some youtubers (who a lot of people seem to take as valid sources). So why is that never considered as an early game slowdown perk when it's literally only effective in the early game and stops survivors from doing certain gens?

  • I'm pretty sure you don't have to "chase" a survivor when you put a trap on their head as pig. You just kind of stalk them. You know a survivor with an activated trap is going to head to boxes, and you can hear the doll on them laughing if it's not the correct box and you're close enough, not to mention the grunting of the survivor using the box if you already know they're going for one. Plus, letting them successfully get it off makes it so one of your traps is now permanently gone, and with it all of the threat that it gave -- and you only have so many traps.

I'm not saying it's exactly the most efficient way to play the game, but not letting a survivor finish a box while their timer is ticking down and constantly harassing them that way is a decent, albeit scummy, way of taking somebody out the game (kind of like a fresh off the first hook mori.)

  • I like to play him, I like Leatherface himself, but like others say he probably isn't that good if we're talking tier lists and such.

  • @MrsMaliciousX said:

    All of the above.

You play killer lobbies are almost instant..But then again it doesn't seem to matter what rank you are. You face anywhere between rank 1 and rank 20 survivors.

You Q up for survivor (SOLO) and you wait 15-20 mins for a game, to be put with teammates that are rank 1 to 20 with a lower rank killer.

The survivors do nothing and just walk around the map, won't do gens with ruin up and the killers do nothing but camp and tunnel off the hook.

I'd rather wait the times and have correct freaking rankings.

You're awful lucky getting such quick killer queues. It's the opposite for me, where I wait maybe 5 or 10 minutes tops for a survivor queue but my killer queues feel like they take half an hour or so, sometimes 15 minutes.

  • I was just tossing an idea around in my head a few hours ago but I didn't know if it was worth making my own post about it, but this one seems appropriate enough to mention it.

I was thinking about a couple things: lots of killers complaining about no hard early game slow now with ruin gone (even though corrupt intervention exists), and the topic of totems (with some people bringing up that ruin shouldn't be a hex perk to begin with.) It just kind of came to me that, if people want early game slowing, and right now with how dull totems don't really do anything, it might be a good idea to give any totem that remains up a small percentage slow to generators (perhaps 3, 4, 5% each.) This would do a few things:

-Give survivors another reason to work on something other than the primary objective, generators

-Provide the early breathing room killers seem to need so desperately

-Help bring totem-related/affecting perks into the limelight (thrill of the hunt, detective's hunch, small game, etc.)

-Simply help totems be more relevant by letting them provide pressure, and give survivors a reason to actually work on dull ones other than "just in case of NOED"

Again I've only thought of this a little bit recently, but it seemed like a relatively simple change that would shake things up in a fair enough way for either side. Obviously survivors would be sort of losing something here more so than the killer, but I also am going off the assumption that the changes to ruin are going to be going live, so it wouldn't be as bad if the killer would be losing one of their most popular perks as well.

Just thought it was an idea worth sharing. Maybe it's been thought up already (probably) but feel free to add to or criticize it.

I cant play with friends. I play DBD on the Nintendo switch. I cant even ask for help in the chat! I dont have bond and prove thyself. My Dwight is only level 1......

With all the tome challenges that came out already, and the new ones coming out, you should have plenty to get your Dwight's level up.

  • IDK why so many Plague mentions. She seems just as "normal" as a trapper with the way she attacks. Mostly just spits vomit on people and hits them with a censor.

I would think Fredster or Spirit would be the strongest, as Spirit is... A spirit. She can disappear and appear constantly and that's huge. Maybe Nurse for a similar reason. But I say Freddy because he can bend reality, and you can't get a lot better than that.

  • So make a dummy feature that literally doesn't do anything? Sounds like even more wasted time.

I don't like tunneling camping complaints either but what's even the point?

If you're so good at assessing risk, go say something about a group of people like that in front of your boss at your company, and tell me how good of an idea that would be.

Anyway, I agree this is the place to go for a complaint, but some of these go beyond just a complaint. People just cry and say that they'll go spam mori and whatnot, or just say the devs are this or that because they don't like a change. The moment you throw a fit like that, expect nobody to take you seriously. Like if you can't make a thoughtful post with at least some constructive content in it, you're literally just spam and shouldn't be posting on the forums. If people need a place to talk smack on devs, the forums are probably some of the stupidest places to do it.

Good job. I only got it playing in a 4man with my bf and two more friends and I just left everyone to die to finish gens. Just did gens all match long while everyone died.

Gotta love challenges that make you an awful teammate.

That's one of my biggest problems with the tomes. It completely takes control over the gameplay.

It's not as hard as you'd think. You just need to be on the generator when it's completed, not complete the whole thing. Dedicating your role to be gen jockey several games should help, or at least that's how I did it. Plus I brought bond and prove thyself to keep an eye on my team mates and encourage them to finish gens with me. Worked pretty well.

  • Too many people missing @SpaceCoconut 's point. As he said you're just nitpicking over words if all you can say is "but the stats are accurate!"

Point is, the stats can't be looked at simply as "survivors playing the game normally and trying to escape."

It's just simply amazing how many people would rather nitpick over a single word than just accept the overall message of "don't take these stats at face value." It shows how little effort people will put in when "trying" to make a point.

  • I can't view it either. Shame too as I was interested from another post I saw, where some Jake kept infinitely getting up after getting M1'd into the dying state. The poster called them a cheater and hacker but the only thing I could think was, "man I wonder if it's just DbD being buggy again."

  • I don't understand the point of this thread.

Plenty of people offering counter arguments for OP, but OP is just having none of it.

I don't know if it's even worth dignifying this post with a real response. Any actual thinking done would probably be a waste against somebody whose primary objective seems to be to defend their nonsensical complaints while childishly name-calling at people who are bringing up completely fair points.

  • @Cetren said:

You lost any hope of even logical argument when you said thanatophobia was OP.

I had this thought but from when he said BBQ is OP. Lol like how? It gives you 4 seconds of auras (and that's if the survivors don't jump in a locker when they see the obvious pick up animation from killer). Also BP, but... Are BP really overpowered?

DS, BT, DH < BBQ? Really?

  • No, I'm not new. I just found it stupid easy to play her. Sorry if that means I play against potato survivors, I'll try to remember to tell them next time to stop being so bad.

  • She has infinite traps until she picks up a survivor she downed and all the others either flashlight or run over and pop them all.

  • I'm really shocked you'd say that. I totally would've said Leatherface. I think I heard them say they were going to be giving him some love in the future in some live stream or something like that.

  • That's... Very creative and interesting.

I like the idea, especially with the fact that there exists some good spots, and some really bad ones. Having the ability to manually pick up a hex and place it in a more advantageous position would be really sweet on a killer like Trapper I would think. It would have counterplay too, especially if there was an animation or indicator to go with it, since survivors could always be hiding in a place you don't see them and notice that you picked up a hex.

I main her. It's like Dark Souls. Some people like hard and punishing. You can't say it's unfun for everyone, because people have different idea of fun.

It's unfun for me because it takes out almost all mindgames. I'm not saying other killers are more complex or anything, but for me having the ability to teleport right on top of a survivor and hit them doesn't feel as engaging as mindgaming them into taking a hit. I disagree it's hard. Punishing, maybe more so now that she has a delay. But just for me and my personal preference, too easy.

    @DwightOP said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/988896#Comment_988896

Most likely not. When the nurse got changed EVERYONE tries her out in the 1st week, that boosted the stats quite high. Now, after everyone knows how unfun, boring, stressful and weak she became noone is touching her. I think the stats are significantly worse now.

I would think the opposite. Maybe the *play rate* dropped for her if people did realize she was stressful or whatever, but the remaining Nurse players I would think would bring up the stats a little, as they get used to the way she is since her changes. The biggest changes she got are her addons, which don't have to be brought if you aren't used to them, and the delay she has. Any Nurse that can hit a blink probably still can. I won't even say probably. I've gone against a couple since the update. She felt almost the same, just couldn't infinitely chase me with no punishment. I'm not a golden standard though. I don't have all the data from everybody's games, and I'm not a perfect players, so maybe I'm just wrong on that.

  • I don't disagree the devs are out of touch.

That being said, everybody says a certain game has the worst community. I've heard it about Undertale, League of Legends, Call of Duty, Minecraft, FNaF, whatever. Not all of these can be the "most toxic," people just like to blow things out of proportion.

The reason this community is toxic is because human beings exist in it and play the game. The humans you constantly see regurgitating this "you're a survivor/killer main so you are automatically this, this, and this" garbage.

  • Never was a Nurse player. Too boring for me.

That being said I can say those stats, even if a few weeks old, probably are still somewhat accurate. She's definitely weaker just because of that delay, but I don't think for a Nurse player that's used to blinks it would be a problem.

The one thing I did witness though that I have to take the Nurse's side on here... There are some disruptive bugs on her now, so I feel a little bad she was left like that.

  • I've been accused of being in favor for the new hex: ruin even though I have no opinion on it; and that's exactly the thing. I have no real opinion on it, because I never use ruin so my whole viewpoint thus far has just been to wait and see how creative people can get with it.

That being said, seeing the viewpoints of those who seem to be vehemently against it, this might solve a lot of the frustration. Maybe not for the people who think it shouldn't be a hex, but I feel like that's a complaint mostly because people just don't like the PTB ruin's effect either way, so they feel like it being a hex just makes it that much more useless. If the regular slowdown was implemented though it would still give the early game slowdown. I wouldn't even mind if the progress ended up being slower than ruin is on live servers, because I personally just found the red skill checks to be annoying. Not because I couldn't hit them (although I wasn't perfect), but mostly just the inconvenience of having to just let go of the gen and have the progress stop if i didn't hit it, or having somebody else stop my gen progress because they couldn't hit the skillchecks. That wouldn't be a problem either if the gen speed itself was just slowed, and I would still be encouraged to hit greats as it would get me that instant 2% bonus, which would be more valuable with a slower gen speed.

    Not a bad idea.

  • Might just be nitpicking here, but...

    Isn't it Lery's Memorial Institute?

I thought that wasn't the same thing as a hospital.

  • There's already been tons of talk about this. Even in the past few days I've seen new FNaF threads pop up. I can't get into this once again, but I think it's time to stop beating the dead horse.

  • IDK if this adds very much to the conversation, but I've always felt like a "3 kill 1 escape" (usually through hatch) is a pretty decent game for me.

I know there's no real "win" other than pip I guess, but to me it almost feels like I've won out the match by getting at least 3. It then feels like if I let the survivor go it's mostly my fault, and sometimes you can't help the hatch escape so good enough It just feels like the game is made for 3 kills and one escape with the way the hatch always spawns now (I don't remember the exact spawning rules).

I don't think the game should always be balanced around the killer killing everybody 100% of the time because not a lot of people are going to want too play survivor I don't think if they aren't expected to survive. Maybe I'm wrong though.

  • I'm actually not completely against the delay. As you mentioned the 3 second cooldown or whatever is quite annoying though. My only wish is that they adjusted the audio and visual queues to make it line up better with the actual shock.

  • If it's against the rules of the game, it would be cheating. But it isn't.

League of Legends never had in game voice chat for the longest time, but always endorsed it and players were known to use Skype or Discord or whatever is in at the time. Nobody ever complained about it being cheating. It's simply taking an advantage that's allowed.

I also think it's pretty disingenuous to state that it "wasn't considered" or anything close to that, that comms would be used. Talking to friends while playing games has been a thing for years before this game even was conceived.

  • It's an interesting thought but I'd be lying if I said I knew how it would all play out if it hit live, or even a test build. I can see it buffing up caulrophobia or unnerving, which I kind of am into since they're not that prevalent in the game and could use just a little love. I'm just concerned with it being too strong. I don't have every perk and stuff so I couldn't test this myself, but there could even be some terror radius debuff setups starting to pop up. Also the interaction with borrow time for example, it seems a little weird for it to work far from the killer. I suppose it wouldn't matter much either way if the killer is far and can't even hit the BT.

I just don't know what to think of it. Interesting idea, but it would need a bit of thinking about for each individual perk.

  • I think anything that put's the survivor's life directly in another survivor's control is bad. I think the very concept of survivors' fate being decided based off how many hooks went off before just feels like the definition of "out of my control."

When I play solo queue I'll do what I can to help my team even if I do end up dying because to me it's the BP and XP I get that matter. Thing is, I can't trust my team mates even in this current system. Some people are just bad and can't help it. People will do things like miss skill checks, refuse to save, and all this other stuff. If I already can't trust my team to just do generators and whatnot I surely wouldn't be able to trust them not to get screwed/screw other players with an instant kill 3rd hook.

I just don't know how I would implement the system without it feeling unfair at least for me personally. The only situation I could ever be okay with that in would be survive with friends, since I can at least communicate with my team, but I don't play with a team pretty much ever so that's really not something I have much opinion over. I just think it's really important to balance well for solo queue because just like me, not everybody plays SWF. Also, not everybody plays for the team. On top of that, as explained through my camping example, there's also just plain and simple toxic players that get off on ruining the experience for others, and will abuse any small thing they can like that. Even something as simple as "farming" hooks off one of the noobier players just to prep an instant kill hook to wipe out one of the better players.

There probably could be a more interesting hook system. Your idea is already more creative than something I would come up with, but it just has that one problem of being abusable in an anti-fun kind of way. I'm not even personally against the "having to feel that risk" feeling for altruism because I do see that sometimes altruism is EZPZ even when you're doing it running in front of the killer's face.

  • I still wouldn't take deliverance because I'm not going to go into a match possibly with only 3 usable perks in a system like that. I would either have to purposely let the killer down me just to make sure I don't die because I get the unlucky #3, or run the risk of just being found and instantly killed after my first chase, making the perk useless. You also can only unhook yourself on the first hook phase, so to get the perk to even work you'd have to get the unhook first, and THEN make sure you're the one who gets downed on that #1 hook, or #4, #7, whatever would be the equivalent to a "first hook." Even then, I could also be screwing over anybody else packing deliverance and make their perk useless even if I get mine off.

This would also make camping hugely more powerful, as any killer can easily camp on their 2nd hook to threaten any person who may come to save, and tell them "Hey, if you want to save this person, you better be ready to end your game for it."

Plus as mentioned before I'm not going to be too thrilled when my game just happens to be ended just because my potato team mates can't stop getting downed, and then I just happen to get found.

First off, those "toxic" methods are already used in the overwhelming majority of games. Otherwise BT and DS wouldn't be meta. There would be no point in taking perks to counter crappy behavior if said crappy behavior wasn't commonplace.

Secondly, have you ever stopped to consider that if all four survivors escape that quickly they were just simply better than you? If you think it's just the game and gen rush is a problem, then all survivor complaints about OP killers and add-ons giving them 4k's in less than five minutes suddenly have merit as well. Be careful what you wish for.

I wouldn't try to make sense of that guy. I just had him reading too far into what people were saying and accusing them of saying things they never said. Then when he wouldn't understand he was just making up "constructs in his head to argue against", I told him I'd just go and let him be mad over imaginary things, and he calls it a "retreat."

Probably not a guy you want to try to reason with.
