His knives are wildly inconsistent, especially on console (I have heard they're better on PC but "better" is relative). Unless the survivor has run themselves into the deadest of dead zones and you're so on top of them that legally you might now owe them breakfast, using the knives takes far far far too long to get a hit with and it's easier to just smack them with his knock off light saber.
I was kind of hoping there might be some trick to him or something that I'm just not doing right but if there is some kind of secret to using him, I have no idea what it is or even a hint to it...
I've had a few games where the survivor would flinch to getting hit by the knife but wouldn't get lacerated, it hurts

Quick heads up, Starstruck will still activate if you were to have the cooldown end while the survivor is being carried, basically random exposure during body blocks is hilarious

Optimization is worse on Old Gen consoles from this update, I have literally missed M1 hits before solely because I would get a FPS spike
On survivor I have died on second hook alot and its starting to piss me off alot because of it

BL-I love this perk
IW- Bill Main here, it helps with stealth
BT- I tend to need this alot when someone is almost changing health states
Adrenaline- I am speed

Killer is getting alot of buffs because half the killers are practically useless or promote an unhealthy playstyle, like Trickster

i mean theres no reason main event should go away for no reason, so atleast thats would be a buff if it stayed until used
I'm not saying remove Main Event, you have a time out on throwing more knives after it ends for some reason

NoEd has a really easy counter, literally bust every totem, ruin you can break the totem, BBQ’s aura reading is more of a hint giver on the survivors location, and is countered by lockers and is also easily countered
DS however was literally the jack of all trades built into a perk, you had pressure that was built simply because someone was the obsession, the survivors could literally sit on a generator and be unkillable (can’t slug as DS is always used with Unbreakable) and in the endgame, DS at an exit gate meant your kill was quite literally robbed

His recoil is one of the issues cause it is making aiming on console with him the equivalent of trying to throw darts at a dart board from a mile away
They just need to reduce the recoil so it doesn't kick you in the jaw

He's not viable at all. Weakest killer in the game hands down.
Played about 15 games yesterday and about 4 today as him and I have to stop because it's just pure frustration and not at all fun.
I'm no longer playing him until he receives some well deserved buffs to make him semi tolerable to play.
I can tell, yesterday my friend showed me is recoil and I am actually astonished on, this is coming from someone who has played shooters for more than 10 years now and I can say that he doesn't need recoil
He needs a flat out tuning to him to actually make him a killer

OP could well be right, but he's been on live servers for like 3 hours. I'd be more confident in this opinion once people get to learn him and a meta actually has had a chance to develop for him. For that to get settled during a PTB his skill ceiling would have to be insanely low.
If I am correct, the PTB last about 1-2 weeks, around the same time it takes to learn a easy-medium difficulty killer, Trickster is flat out simple to counter and painfully weak, doesn’t make it any better that they nerfed his best add-on and made it a joke add-on

Haven’t played trickster yet but this only works at the start of a ptb, this is a live release where devs just put things onto trickster that he should have had in the first place. Trickster is still really weak and has so many things in his kit that is unnecessary, this is killer number 2 in a row where the concept is cool but executed poorly
