I guess they could, one totem per Survivor with one of the Survivors needing to cleanse two per match? I guess in theory it’s doable but in practice I have a hard time believing that cleansing all totems in a match is a winning strategy.

Thats the thing that seperates modifiers from gameomodes. This way of playing the game actually changes alot and has way more complex machanics then simple lights out and chaos shuffle

Vecna. His powers and items are so fun to play around. I actually do see him sort of often but I still wouldn’t mind seeing more of him.
Less? Always Wesker. Seeing him is too painful and brings up heart break memories.

And also any sign of weakness you show will often be used to insult you. There are countless examples of this. A short while ago I played Vecna. All 4 Survivors were still alive but one was dead on hook, but then she got the Eye of Vecna. I found her, but I wanted to be nice and let her to get the achievement so I just went away to find another Survivor. They all got out and insulted me in end game chat. Similarly a while ago I was playing Pig and a Survivor brought a RPD offering and I generously assumed they only wanted the achievement. In End game I saw a survivor who was injured, headtrapped and dead on hook run away. But I was feeling silly so I did snoop boopes, spins and slow ambushes with another Survivor and they got out. "Noob Killer", "Ez", "Learn to play". Any niceity will very likely get weaponised against you. So don't even try. Hell, I recently ran into a bully squad where 1 Survivor tried to play silly with me, meanwhile the other 3 were pushing through gens and as soon as I started chasing that Survivor for real they ran in with BG player, flashbangs, sabotages, etc. Playing nice only hurts you.
Even if you win, being nice is punished. If you give hatch, yeah they might be nice then but what if you need adept next game? If you give people the expectation your going to give hatch many are going to be toxic if you don't. And if you subtly give hatch by not looking for it and just breaking walls and pallets and stuff, many are going to be toxic because they "won" by beating you to hatch.
This game is already toxic, but counterintuitively being nice just makes it worse, not better.
You're going to be called toxic for anything anyway. The Survivor runs to hook and your chasing them? You're getting accused of camping hook. You're getting your first kill before 8 hooks? You're getting accused of tunneling. You play Legion? You're getting accused of toxic mend simulator. You play tombstone Myers? You're accused of abusing OP add ons. You play Sadako, Freddy, Plague, Singularity? Damn, you're accused of abusing difficult to understand killers for easy wins. You play Nurse, Billy, Blight, Spirit? You're getting accused of abusing OP killers. You bring a pride flag charm? You're going to get insulted for that by toxic Surviors too. No matter what you do, you will constantly get insulted almost every single game. Don't bother trying to do play nice. It won't fix it. It will make it worse.
Hard Tunnel as hard as you need. Slug as hard as you need. Camp as hard as you need. 3 Gen as much you need. Many Survivors will be toxic anyway, so just play for your own fun. Not for theirs.
Many Survivors think they are entitled to the win. This also likely the reason Survivors are disproportional more likely to be hackers. They think they deserve to escape every game so they try their hardest to make sure they do that. And they will be toxic if that doesn't work out. And if it works out they are toxic because they think they are better than you.
So just do yourself a favour and don't even start.
And just in case someone wants to comment to disagree with me. Thats fine. But keep in mind that if you read my post carefully you can see I never said "all Survivors" only "many Survivors." I also never explictly advocated for Slugging, Camping or Tunneling. I just said everyone should do it as much as they need. If you feel like you never need it, great feel free to play like that.
Lastly, if you think what I am describing doesn't match the actual game, this is my honest opinion. Please be nice, there is no reason to belittle or name call anyone, and keep the discussion productive.
I’m sorry to hear about your negative game experiences. I should count myself lucky considering that I play on console and there’s no end game chat.
However, many Survivors do offer me their item at end game. I can't see that as anything other than respect. So there is a counter force. It may not be super obvious but it is there.

I like them all. I choose according to my sense of taste. Preferably from 3 different costumes so that they look good. I love masks and everything that covers the face. It's a pity that survivors are not given them in sufficient quantities. Masks with beaks are almost the latest fashion. I always remember the Plague Doctor, from whom the prototype of the costumes was taken.
I do something creepy and scary in the form of monsters Dredge and Artist. Or something cute like Spirit, Legion and Artist. I find the Doctor cute, so I am biased in my assessment. There are costumes where everything is harmonious that I stop at one option Wraith, Deathslinger, Blight and Huntress. I don't want to change anything there even if there are more beautiful costumes.
I consider Plague to be the most unlucky in costumes. I really don't like the color scheme of the recolors and costumes that were offered in the archive volumes. I would also experiment with her.
I'll buy these costumes someday, but it'll be a long road. Plus the bloody Doctor and the moon Skull Merchant (I appreciate beautiful female hair). I need the Spirit head, and the Legion is interested in the knife (nice color scheme).

Since you like masks and need more experimenting with Plague, here are two you might like.
The second one is the Frosty Eyes skin (obviously). And the head piece is from the latest rift 😊

How are we feel about my boy, Freddy, after 1 week expererience on both sides?For me, here is a conclusion:
1. Killer-Perspective:
- he is way more interactive than before. You always have stuff to do, placing Dream Pallets, fake a teleport, chase, hook, break things - just overall a far better experience
- he is stronger than before for sure. While Dream Snares are weaker than before, but in another way very interesting and - once again - more interactive, the Dream Pallets work entirely different. I had 20 games a row where not a single survivor tried to stun me, because everyone was afraid about the Rupture. Dream Pallets are basically a M2-Hit-Ability now and together with Unicorn-Block a deadly combination.
- His new visual to know from which direction of the generator we will ascend is absolute beautiful. You save a lot of time for your "Where am I-Game". You know what I mean.
- His addons are beautiful. There is - in my opinion - not a single Addon completely useless (okay, Blue Dress for sure) or overpowered.
2. Survivor-Perspective:
- he feels oppressive if the Freddy I am facing knows what he is doing (kinda like Singularity). I like this challenge. If you know how to counter Freddy however, he is not as threathening as a Blight for example.
- The permanent option to use Alarm Clocks is the best counter ever - you really should use them anytime when you fall asleep, because the new Dream World-Abilities are making Freddys Dream World really dangerous.
- I think Freddy could (!) receive a slight nerf for the Dream Snare-Ability directly in front of a hit. Using a Snare - hit the survivor - Hindered-Effect is still active and with Rapid Brutality, Freddy is there in no time. For me, even as Freddy-Main, I would understand if the Hindered-Penalty would disappear after a hit.
- His Snare-Game (like with Huntress-Hatchets) is really fun.
Overall, I think - after a week of mostly playing AS Freddy - he has entered A-Tier for me. Beautiful!
I don’t use Freddy but I have played against his newest version. Every single game I’ve played against him has been so much fun. It feels engaging trying to keep yourself and others awake.
So far he’s been exciting to go against 😊

My Little Oni was funny. If it returned it would be especially nice for those who missed it last year. I would be completely happy.
If anything was on the table for April Fools I would like to see an actual bully simulator where the Survivors are the exaggerated power role.

They’re all so good but the Doctor and Twins are my favorite. The hose on the Doctor is so disturbing.
I like the Trickster combinations too. The first one is particularly creepy.
Your Artist right next to the first Dredge has to be my favorite combo out of all of them.

Btw this is the first time I’ve ever heard about adding charms to generators. I like that idea a lot. There’s a chance that it may look too cluttered but I’d be willing to see a mock up.

Finally I loved this combo on Skully... the blood spatters, the little dirt flecks on her; I dunno what it is about this head specifically, her eyes are the same model on all skins every single time... but her human eye just looks so much colder on this head than any of the others... like your life is of absolutely no consequence to her... 🤘
Your costumes are less flashy than others but still very deadly looking. In some ways they look even more deadly. Your Skull Merchant is my favorite. You’re right, her eye is definitely telegraphing the violence she intends to commit.
They all look so good. Good enough to defend a hatch that spawns during the final two Survivors???… 😉😃😃

The rest of them are linked sets or just kind of mid, no need to be redundant and post the same Miss Fuchi skin every other artist player has and such. I do have a decent amount of cosmetics which is both a privilege and a shame… lol
Almost forgot to mention. I don't really have a main, I do play a lot of clown, chucky, (R.I.P king) and more recently blight... But I've been playing a lot of Freddy for obvious reasons… I really bounce around so I figured I'd show all the good "(somewhat) creative outfits" I have; or… partially have to offer.These are great! The Knight costume with the rabbit cloak looks so cool. I agree, his default head is really good. The way the hair comes out of the helmet in the general shape that it does is really creepy and scary. Like he’s going to eventually get me.
The Winter sweater on Chucky is classic. Love Ghost Face too; the red blood coming from the mask.

His body is the "Huxlee Hybrid" body, which gives him some nice bulk with the spacesuit look, as well as a chunky Biopod gun. It also gives him the white and blue needed to blend well with the wicked looking double-claw from his Alpine Frost skin, "Cold Snap." Finally, I'm using the Deep Rift version of his "Old Model" head, because the blue forehead piece goes really well with the rest of the cooler colors, particularly the arm and shoulder pump!

For Artist, I'm using the "Fallen Angel" body. I feel like the Anniversary mask really goes with this outfit. The completely impassive face and the feathers carved into the mask give it a cold distance that really seems to click with the rest of the outfit. Finally, I've been trying out different weapons to try and find one that really works. Right now, I'm trying the Deep Rift version of the one from "Existence" for how thin it is and that little splash of color at the tip. I'm open to changing it, though, because I don't know if it really gels with the rest of the outfit entirely.
Finally, my Xeno alternates between default, Blighted, and now Juggernaut. Juggernaut really stands out to me for being a unique DBD contribution to Xenomorph design, with the ship parts essentially hanging off from where they were fused to the Xeno's body.
I love how much thought you put into these outfit combinations. Reading your thought process was a pleasure 😊
I agree that the bulk suits the Singularity very well. Great job coordinating the colors and theming 😄
Your Artist skin looks like the closest thing we have to an “Angel” Killer. There’s a red tip weapon for her right? Maybe it can coordinate well with the red shredded skirt.

These are my Legion fits right now. I don't know why, but something about the way that Joey wears that Rudolf mask just cracks me up. Maybe because I think Joey's always trying his best to look like the toughest Legion member and this mask subverts that a little.
I've got to be honest though, Susie's Lunar New Year skin with the Angsty Artist knife and mask are what my Legion wears 99% of the time. It's just by coinicidence that it's Lunar New Year right now. There's one or two from the mobile game that could maybe knock it off the top spot.
I'm also hoping to unlock the Julie skin in the new rift soon (and yes, it is Julie and not Susie like it claims to be. I don't know why, but BHVR always seem to mess something up when they bring out a new Legion cosmetic). I don't really like any of her skins that much, so it will be cool to play as her a little more often.
Maybe because I think Joey's always trying his best to look like the toughest Legion member and this mask subverts that a little.
