Ah yes. Nerf the killers and up the escape rate only for you to have fun while every other player have miserable experience. Nice

"Why does the killer slug for the 4k?" I dunno chief why do the survivors always wait at the exit to give the killer some undeserved bags?
And don't try to tell me it ain't the same thing because then that's what we call double standards.
Intentional waiting and T-bagging for the killer yes, but I usually wait until I see other survivors are safely on the other exit gate and can also escape. Just remember that it's not always just waiting to frustrate killers. But if you see this right in front of you then yes, you are absolutely correct.
"Always" is a strong word and I don't believe for a second that this happens to you on every match. No shot. -
No idea. I get it when you are hunting an achievement like adepts, but outside of that that just another way to be annoying to someone. I don't personally buy the argument of 4k = win, because 3k is the same as 4k. Like you won already and all of us like to get to the next match. Just get the 3k and if you are lucky, you find the hatch before the survivor.
-
Bro, I swear, whenever I get excited about a killer I haven't played much before, the very next time I open the forums, I see people whining about that exact killer. Dracula is in a good spot don't touch him...
-
Yep. Not as mainstream as Iron Maiden or Slipknot, but like you said, they got Nine Ice Kills or what ever it was called so, Lordi wouldn't be a bad choice. Plus this is just one suggestion that came to my mind. Would be nice to see Mr. Lordi himself hooking some survivors.
DbD players like how kickass and well made the skins are rather than strictly on how famous the franchise or band behind them is. Of course the populairty helps, but if the cosmetics are done right, I believe any cosmetic will sell. Plus a license for a less mainstream band probably doesn't cost anywhere near as much as one for Iron Maiden.
GWAR may be more popular in some areas, but way more controversial band. I mean their thing is to provoke, offend and mock American politics, region, pop culture and social taboos. Lordi is way more "mainstream" band than GWAR and may even be the most mainstream monster rock band after KISS, Slipknot, Ghost, Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper. DbD already have Slipknot and I don't really see how the other band would fit into the game (maybe for Survivor skins..?).
If Art the Clown sharply divides opinions in the community, I don't even want to know what GWAR collab would stir up 😂 -
Losing sucks and this game is built around winning. That's the reason for toxicity
-
No they aren't. People will anyways give up and do nothing if the game doesn't go their way and they don't wanna play so what is the difference? There is no difference. DC penalites will never encourage people to try and if you think so, you are just delusional
-
There is no logic. Simple as that. Devs don't play the game, they play business. What is business? Skins, not balance and perks.

They wont certainly not take it down and changes to it are unlikely. But yes, if you dont like the event mode, dont play it. This is the same Killers said the last few times when it was killer-sided, so they should take their own advice here.
btw. if you REALLY want to boycott anything, you should not play at all. BHVR does not care about whether you play in the event mode or the regular queue, they care about their player numbers. Not that I say people should boycott the game, but boycotting the gamemode is really half-baked. And overall I think the drama is way to overexaggerated.
This 100%. 🤝

Make him completely undetectable. Remove night shroud as a mechanic and make it infinite, similar to old Myers. No terror radius, no red stain, no nothing.
And because 99'ing the stalk is a problem with this, make it so you cant 99 forever. After couple or second the stalk starts to decrease so will lose your progress if you are not in a good spot and ready to pop the stalk.
This is something I would really like to see as it fits the Ghost Face perfectly and is not as busted idea as it used to be when map offerings was a thing. Now you can't force your way to indoor maps
-
Can I get help with this? :(
How do I contact a mod?

Solo Q is fun.
At the current state, tunneling is annoying, but it's a valid strategy.
At the current state, gen rushing is annoying, but it's a valid strategy. This isn't a horror game anymore, it's just e-sports tag. Make maps pitch black and make flashlights actual light sources, not just weapons. We need the horror back and actual jumpscares.
At the current state, this game is a party game, so don't try to overbalance. This never meant to be a comp game so don't make it one.
Too many perks. Implement 2v8 perks system and ditch every characters specialised perks.
BHVR had one chance with the Springtrap and they blew it. You don't see Springtrap players anywhere and his abilities don't fit the character and the franchise. Survivors most of the time just ignore cameras and security doors so you are just worse huntress. Also map traversal isn't that great either.
This game looks absolutely awful in graphical way. Some of the killers walking animations don't match their walking speed, why are survs still massaging the air when healing someone, survs running animations and anatomy look absolutely awful, the generators and their repair look absolutely awful, hanging on a hook is horrible to watch, and most of the MORIs are outdated. Is this the best you can do with UNREAL ENGINE 5?Too many bugs.
Skill checks are boring.
Too many wannabe comp players.
Licensed chapters are carrying the game. BHVR relies way too heavily on horror IPs to keep the player base active.
I don't know why I play this game.

This is a killer who requires perfect precision to get hits with his power which already isn't easy on console, but on top of that on console you take longer to adjust your aim, losing more distance because you can spawn your power on props by mistake. I know it can be fixed with a lot of skill, but they all combine to just kinda feel bad. Also, there is a bug where if you cancel your vine attack without using it, you can't enter the upside down. Overall, just feels bad
Pff just spam your ability and you will get it. That's how all of my matches go. Spam spam spam boom boom boom so much fun YIPEEEEEE
And I thought Kaneki was stupid killer design. -
Ass.
That's why I play Jane

Lullaby used to work on pig boxes, doctor madness, etc. There's a pretty funny story behind it getting changed but not one youre likely to hear on the forums.
What's the story?

Getting a SWF as killer isn't as common as everyone makes it out to be, Scott Jund did a video talking about this & from my own personal experience he is correct. Solo Q is currently the most miserable way to play the game as of right now, a lot of people here like to claim that almost every match they get as killer is against a 4 man bully squad and it's so cringe & wildly untrue.
Never claimed my every game is against SWF bully squads. But that is the thing that ruins the game for me. Like I said, we all have our preferences. And I actually don't care what content creators say about things that are currently going on in the game. At least to a point where it would define how I should feel about the game. I don't like to see SWF bully squads, never have and never will. Even for a one game out of 10 other games.

Idk what game you play, but survivor for me is absolutely miserable.
Sitting on a gen pressing button is not miserable for me. But we all have our own preferences. Ofc the randoms can get somewhat annoying but naaah rather play solo Q with randoms than as a killer against SWF.
-
I hope not. This game has become too competitive already. And it is not even a comp game lol.
-
No. Absolutely not. Well actually survivor is ok because I play games for entertainment purposes and just want to sit back and relax. This is achievable on the survivor side. But as a killer? Lol I would rather jump from a roof head first. Playing casually my favorite killers against 4 syringes, sprint burst/dead hards and other annoying perks with SWF comms and strategies? It is insanity. If you still do this and you are not a streamer who makes money out of it, I feel sorry for you. Period.
-
Agreed. When I play solo Q surv, I always get players as teammates that don't do the main objective at all and most of the survivors just give up instantly when the match don't go their way. But on the other side, when I play killer, I constantly play against SWF teams, that have good coms, strategy and most of the time I just lose because I don't have enough map pressure (mostly because I play M1 "honest knife to back" killers like pig and GF). Map pressure is hard to achieve because just my last game I played as Pig against 3 syringes, sprint bursters and other annoying perks.
As a side note: For the love of GOD I would give anything if even ONE TIME I could just sit back and relax playing killer, but this is impossible to do. There is no relaxing when there is nothing you can do without sweating your ass off to get hooks. This is the reason why I don't play much killer anymore, because it is just insanity. Delete the comp scene and comp mindset from this game. Jesus Christ……… -
Because you are standing still somewhere around the map HIDING and not doing your objectives. At least I do give up when I see my teammates doing nothing. I don't care and mind losing. You wanna play hide and seek? Well good luck with that. I will go find better teammates that actually wanna play the game as it was intented. And when I find these kind of survivors, usually I die for them if needed.

Very nice collection. These outfits are what I currently use. But I like to mix and match new outfit combo every now and then.

I rarely play anymore. Before I enjoyed playing as a killer but nowadays if I play couple of matches sometimes I always play as a survivor. Playing as a killer is like stabbing yourself for no reason.

WESKER!! Easily Wesker. Well, that's the only killer I see anymore. But also depens on who is playing. Any killer can be annoying if there is toxic enough player.
-
Remove Weskers ability to bound attack. Nerf Wesker is new meta.
-
Doing gens takes forever because you have to be constantly doing tapes. Just teleport as much you can and defend gens as much as possible. Maybe run ruin and/or other slowdown perks and there you go :) Clearly not the strongest killer in the game but super annoying to play against imo. As annoying as Skull Merchant.
-
I don't have a problem that she is actually quite good at splitting pressure now. People have to actually do something to counter her. My biggest problem tho is that matches can last FOOOORRRREEEVVVEEEERRRRRRR if survivors do tv:s and Onryo is hard defending the gens... Skill issue? Maybe. But I don't like this because I have actually felt more bored to play against her than Skull Merchant...

1 or 2, as they actually synergise. 3 and 4 are simply two perks that can 'help in a chase' but in entirely different scenarios and on their own don't do anything game changing.
I'd take it a step further and run 1 on Wraith with breaking time add ons, or even throw in a Hubris on 2. But that's not useful for your situation.
Thanks! Choosing between Brutal and Fury is hard :D

I don't think they've announced a date for the Slipknot/Iron Maiden collabs.

Made for this is mediocre by itself. With hope it’s quite strong. With that being said survivors need 2 perks to get 110 movement speed and it’s only at end game. You can’t really run made for this with another exhaustion perk besides DH I guess.. Adrenaline alone equates to Made for this and Hope combined, I could write a novel on how Adrenaline outshines made for this and hope.
Yes, but it is strong against killers who don't have ability to catch survivor quickier. This perk and some knowledge about looping and boom. It just takes too long and when multiple survivors run these perks, it is about time when survivors make mistake and killer can catch them off guard. Not fun or even fair when playing lower tier killers.

Sounds like you need to work on your macro game. Here, let me give you a tip:
Clearing pallets in an area makes that area much more dangerous for survivors to be in. Instead of trying to get every pallet in the map thrown, try to prioritize chasing survivors in high traffic areas or that are near multiple objectives. Consider where the other survivors are and what resources are left on the map so that you can best disrupt the survivor team.
Thanks for giving tip. You are awesome. But like other people already said, this is way harder to do against competent group of survivors. These perks are making already hard things way worse to do in game and of course these people are the ones who gen rush the gens at the pace that feels like they are cheating...
I have heard so many times that this perk is good counter to bloodlust. But I always ask them when bloodlust ever became a problem? It's a mechanic for killer to catch up the survivor and it is given in situations where the chase has already been too long. And at some places you have to bloodlust maybe pallet out or to get hit...

Thank you

What makes him anything like Skull Merchant? Literally just use EMP’s and watch his power melt. Good luck doing anything like that against a Skull Merchant.
Like "just disable skull merchants drones by doing some veeeryyyyyy difficult sequence of keystrokes to make her power melt"? I can feel that you have hard time to know how to play against skull merchant.
But anyways thats how I feel about the new killer and I don't actually like his power. Again boring to play against and boring to play as. Like you said, very easily countered by survivors EMP spam. Or the killer is hard tunneling and slugging peace of something. Way too fun!!
EDIT:
Counter question. How is placing drones around gens any different than placing biopods around gens?
-
Skull merch 2.0 in my opinion. Boring to play against and sometimes I just DC instantly....
-
I just can not figure out how to play the new killer. When I watch videos or streams, it seems very clear what to do but in my games I can not use the teleport because somehow survs are able to instantly disable my cameras when I shoot them with it. It is literally instant. And I have zero interest to figure out what I am doing wrong. Terrible killer for me. I don't like "set up killers" in general so...
-
I love it when playing survivor.
I hate it when playing killer.
-
Wow. If you could vault windows like mastermind and break breakable walls and pallets like demogorgon with Pigs ambush, it would be huge. Those would be nice buffs for her chase potential. Survs can very easily outrun her for so long that it is not even fun to play. And impossible to defend gens.
About stealth... In my opinion when you use ambush, the roar Pig makes should come after the ambush meter is full and ambush is happening. This would make her power really feel like stealth ambush attack. Right now it is very to run away while survivors get the roar warning before the ambush is even happening. Very stealthy to yell "I am gonna come out of cover now. Start running so I won't catch you"...
-
Notification against already super weak killers? No thanks. And why even think about givin survs a notification? Whole concept about ghostface especially is about stealth...
-
Yeah. Moms are the best <3
-
I'll stick to what SpookyLoopz suggested some time ago. Make ghostface night shroud permanent, so he would be the first killer to have no terror radius. In exchange "remove" his ability to 99% stalk, so when you stalk survivors their stalk meter will decrease over time if you don't stalk them fully in short time. This time should not be too short ofc.
-
Moment of silence for this whole game. With the latest chapter included, I think it is becoming my time to say goodbye. Perk fest is not fun anymore. Balance were lost long time ago. At some point this game is not healthy for you anymore.
-
Well everything is done really badly in the new PTB. Even the new killers walking animation is so bad that I can not watch it.
-
Well I have better idea how we should nerf tunneling.
Why don't we just remove the ability to hit survivors so killers would be standing there watching survivors doing gens? Gen rushing with proves and toolboxes is so balanced and fun to watch and killers aren't already forced to tunnel if they want to win. Also remove perks and addons for killers. Or just remove killers completely. Too unfun to play against killers nowadays because all I can see is killer killing survivors. Thats mean and it should not be a mechanic in this type of game. Or at least there should be mechanic that if killer is trying to kill, then their computer explodes and they get a ban for their account.
I think my suggestion would make the game balanced again. Also fun for both sides.
EDIT: Even better idea.
Remove gens from the game, so survivors only have to open gates and escape. This way there would be no time for tunneling.
-
This is why I decide to take a long break. Mostly when I play killer, I encounter very good SWF squads, but in my solo q games as a survivor I encounter like top tier killers. At least it feels like it.
Play other games, see your friends or start a new hobby. Do something else for a while. When fog is a bit clearer, it is good time to make comeback.
