That's fair. I hadn't considered that me toning it down would be considered rude, because most of the time when I 12 hook at 3 or 4 gens, I get called out for being a sweat or a no-life and get told to off myself. I guess you just can't win against this mindset, but if I'm going to be socially condemned no matter what I do as killer, why should I bother trying to give the survivors a better experience at the detriment of my own game? I would feel better killing someone early, getting more wins and taking my frustration out on them. Yet I don't. Have an iota of perspective.

I disagree, I think there would be a correlation to the amount I received from killers vs survivors. Maybe it's because trash talk is more common among lower skilled players, and survivors have the easier role? I mean, mentally at least. You can always blame your teammates if you lose as survivor, and can divvy up responsibilities. As killer all success or failure is dependant upon your own choices and abilities, so it's harder to blame someone else. I can't imagine such toxic people sticking with that for long. It's funny how the supposed power role in the asym is the Underdog anymore rather than the boss to defeat.

That's another thing actually, Teabagging and hitting on hook and stuff is one thing, but I've received death threats from people outside of game as killer. Whenever I've played survivor, at best I'll get a ggs wp but most of the time I get nothing at all. I got a particularly new killer somehow who called me a slur, but that's about it, where survivors are full of legit vitriol

I respect the attempt at a huge swing, but it's already obvious some stuff will need to be tweaked. So far I have 2 major complaints.
The anti-tunneling is not just anti-hard tunneling, this also punishes accidental tunneling and survivors running into the killer off the hook, intentionally or not. More specifically, the 6 hook kill and off-the-hook kill punishment should be removed. Killer should not have to be forced to ignore a survivor because they present themselves as too easy of a pray.
And the other thing is Myers' new "lunge". His current lunge is indeed an increased lunge. This is a charged sprint, which may sound similar, but feel wise is a completely different thing. It's why everyone is calling this "dashslop", and why he wasn't previously called that.
These changes are awful. Anti-tunneling aside, the anti-slugging is problematic too! Maybe if they make it take a little bit longer, because then a teammate can get you up, but every perk in the history of the game that let you get up for free had to be nerfed because it's so strong, so now they're just giving it to everyone basekit? I really hope the ability to crawl and get yourself up at the same time doesn't go through, but I don't know what they're thinking anymore

I agree, despite being not a new player myself. New players need more general perks, especially for killer some additional Regression/slowdown based perks. And Survivors, some useful generic perks.
Honestly even if we didn't get good slowdown, there need to be better general perks, period. The few we do get are so easily outclassed, the only one I've ever used is resilience, and I only play survivor during events.

Another reason is because, if you're like me, you joined recently and simply bought the characters you wanted most first. Now, if I want every character dlc, I have to repurchase 75% of the characters I already have, and if I don't buy the dlc, anyone I share my console with can't use those characters. It's a lose-lose situation for anyone except new players

Yes, but that severely limits the abilities of new players. The only reason I continued to play long enough to buy characters and dlcs is because the free perk Jolt was good enough to strategize around: the only other "good" free perk is NOED, and I don't need to explain why that shouldn't be the best option for new/free players.
