maybe he needs something you have

Not sure what to you mean by torch. Lit barrels maybe?
To get teachable you need to level up the character whos teachable you want. They are unlocked at levels 30,35 and 40. Once you buy a teachable from bloodweb, it will appear in a different character's bloodweb(can appear at any level). If you click "character info" you can see teachable perks, which level they are unlocked at and character info, killer's power and stats(if playing killer)
As for who to level up - I'd recommend Claudette, then Meg(if you want to run killer) or Nea(if you want to play stealthy).
There is no in-game voice chat.

My job. That'd definitely be something new.

I do it when I switch from survivor to killer. Can't heal 10 people if I'm hitting and hooking them.
It would suck not to be able to switch to killer tomes when playing killer.
I'm not talking about not being able to switch them, I'm talking about pause/resume option being there for no reason, considering it does it automatically already when you switch between the challenges

Having too much written information can clog up the UI and become overwhelming for the user (yes, even if it's in a collapsible pop-up). You have to find a balance between textual and visual information. It takes nothing away from the experience to have a feature like the ability to pause a challenge, but it does add to the experience for some people. That's why it's there.
If telling a player using 1 sentence that challenge is paused and have an option not to show it again is overwhelming, I honestly don't know how that person will handle reading an actual challenge or a perk description. Btw pause/resume pop-up takes as much space as it would take to show this message, so I guess it's clogging up the ui as well.
-
I think deep wound needs to be removed form bt, so you have to heal again. Adrenaline only will pick you up from downed state when it triggers. Noed - for each uncleansed totem killer gets 1% movement speed, survivors who cleanse at least 1 totem will not suffer from exposed status.
-
Probably because people care more about the rift progression then archives in general.

You don't lose progress. If you pick a new challenge, the old one is paused automatically.
The ability to pause it manually is partly for people who just want to stop gaining challenge progress for a while, for whatever reason, but mainly it's a psychological thing. If someone doesn't know that choosing a new challenge will save progress on their current one, they might worry about doing so and feel like they're trapped into the challenge they have selected. It gives them peace of mind if they can pause the current challenge manually before moving on to another one, because then they know that their progress is safe.
As I said in my first comment, it's a matter of improving the overall user experience. Good UX design is about more than just practicality, it's about making sure the user feels happy and confident while using the system.
Still don't see a point behind your reasoning. If they wanted to improve something or make players feel like they are not stuck with a challenge after selecting it they could add a pop-up window with a message "upon selecting a new challenge the current one will pause" and "don't show again" option or make "pause/resume" optional which can be turned off - these would be improvements. What's not an improvement is the ability to pause challenge while being under impression it's selected and don't receive any progress. Or having to go extra length resuming/pausing the challenge for no reason at all.

If killer was camping/tunneling all game

I paused the emblem one from the other tome and just focused on doing the killer ones. Until I had to do the emblem.
It's actually a good design that let's you keep progress on challenges that take more then one match to try a different challenge without losing the progress.
With the different paths you can take for killer and survivor it let's you leave one oath and go to the other, also the upcom9ng tome looks like it will have more branching paths
Wait. Do you actually lose progress if you don't pause the challenge and chose a new one? Never mind. That's even worse the pause/resume challenge "feature" lol

It actually is great design, and a really useful feature from a UX standpoint.
If you're working on a challenge for killer, for example, and decide for whatever reason that you would rather play survivor instead, you can switch to a new survivor challenge and work on that without losing the progress you gained on the killer challenge you were in the middle of.
Alternately, if you're struggling with a particular challenge or maybe you're getting bored of grinding and just want to adopt a different style of gameplay for a while, you can save your progress on the current challenge and switch to another in the meantime.
You are not supposed to be loosing progress on your challenges, it saves after each trial.

I actually use this
If you wanna take a break from survivor/killer and have the corresponding challenge for that role equipped and want to go do the other role's challenge, then you can pause it and do it later
You can just select another challenge. It will still pause, just without you having to manually pause it
-
@Cetren said:
Just select the challenge you wanna do then? If you pause your challenge but don't choose a different one to start that sounds like a you being forgetful problem, not the games.
I am asking why this option is in the game. ^^
-
Because it's never going to happen. They buffed it instead of nerfing it already, when it continued to affect deep wound after it was decided that mending no longer counts as healing.
-
Ruin buff. 30 seconds. It takes 16 seconds to cleanse a totem.
-
Don't know. Does it matter though? If you're enjoying the content watch him, if not don't.
-
No.
-
Or they can put an opening to walk through a few meters away and remove obstacles so you can fast vault the window.

Jeez people are still falling for this?
Falling for what? He picked worst perks in his opinion and saying that they need a nerf. I don't think hope is a bad perk.
-
I don't see what you got against hope. It's not a bad perk
-
I get why the doctor is next, but why is Jane in there? Do you have a link for that leak?
-
Freddy. Burnt to a crisp.
-
Lucky you. Sometimes I'll start the match with entity displeased on my screen from the beginning, blocking the entire left side of my screen for the rest of the game.
-
I don't see the point. It'll make queues longer. If I want a casual game I'll find kyf lobby in the community section on ps4
-
I'll bring a mori if I see a key

This is the correct answer also prove thyself
prove thyself has no effect on healing, only gens

Little or no counterplay
-
it's called leader
-
99% of people I verse on ps4 on weekends are swf, maybe thats why
-
Last survivor who did nothing entire game getting the hatch
-
You only get rewards for whatever tier you've completed. After rift closes you wont be able to get rift fragments thus will be unable to earn rewards. They do have an option to purchase tiers with auric cells instead of earning them though
-
Can you even buy a pass after current rift closes?

Maybe it's auto aim that is screwing with me 🤔

Perk needs to be reworked. But before that gen speed, 99% gates and adrenaline need to be addressed
-
Piggy
-
Maybe the can remove survivors ability to spam the unhook button while they are at it
-
Make sure the gates are open if they 99 them. Your best bet is to go for insta-save with bt and get a trade. Iron will and dead hard might help if you are injured during egc since you can't spend time healing if someone gets hooked, you can use empathy if you want the extra info
-
I'm still waiting for them to put lycanthrope killer in the game...
-
lockers, gens, medium/slow vaults. pallet vaults, totem, unhook, exit gate, jigsaw box, chest grabs all count. Grabs from traps or locker (if killer opens a locker) don't.
-
Bug free game/console optimisation...not like it's gonna happen
-
She's ugly
-
Have you seen a survivor get off a a meat hook that is going through their chest, sprint away and then get all healed up in 16 seconds in a horror flick?
-
I'll camp the last survivor after the gates are open if I know I can't get another down. If they gen rush in the beginning of the game instead of going for a rescue I'll go back to the hook and make sure the person hits struggle. Other then that I just play normally. Hag is pretty much designed as a campy killer, it's not even about playstyle.
-
Hopefully. I would like nothing more but to see this game to flourish and get a bigger player base as long as they'd at least fix the all the technical issues. But devs don't give 2 shits about it and just keep releasing dlc and cosmetics. So I wouldn't care if it would be dead tomorrow.
-
Finish leveling up the rest of survivors and nurse
-
was he rank 20?
-
Anything will work against brain dead survivors. You can hear Myers tier up the first time - so he was not afk, after that just check for collision to see if he's still stalking.
-
They also ripped off people who bought Ghostface, calling it a chapter. No survivor, no map - just a basic killer.
-
Where do they mention it? And why would films mention the entity? Pretty much every character is grabbed by the entity after the ending of movie/show following the exact events that happened there.
