They dont care about console optimizing :)

I've always read people complaining about NOED. I think it's fine as long as Adrenaline is not being reworked. I don't use it, unless I try some NOED+blood warden just for the laughs, like here https://clips.twitch.tv/AbstemiousKnottyPonyTF2John
It has downsides:
-The killer has to play with 3 perks during the whole match to have end game potential. Sort of like STBFL, you deprive yourself from a current advantage (hitting the obsession) for a future reward. Same as PWYF, you lose chases for speed.
-It has counters. Survivors can do all totems, or they can find the NOED later.
-I'm seeing a lot of people using Inner Strength, so totems are being clensed even more now than before.
-Survivors also have end game perks, like adrenaline or hope, which can't be countered by anything else other than NOED.
Survivors believe that when the fifth gen pops "that's it, we won the match, gg wp, get me the end screen", you still have to open the gates and you still have to escape and end game IS A THING, you don't deserve to escape just because you did 5 gens, the match is not over yet.
Of course I've also read arguments:
-"NOED rewards killers for performing badly." Not really, if he's bad, you're probably still 4 alive, I'm pretty sure you can find the NOED and rescue and escape. If you snowball and have 4 killed by a NOED it's your fault for you performing badly in the end game. Also if he managed to kill 1 or 2 after the end game, maybe he's not that bad.
-"Adrenaline is a reward for doing the objectives, NOED is not." Well, doing gens is what you're supposed to do, you didn't do anything special or risked anything other than playing the game as you should. Imagine a perk rewarding the killer for hooking survivors, "if you did 6 hooks, a random survivor dies" that would be a reward for doing nothing but playing the game.
So, that's my two cents. If you have any thoughts, please be constructive. Thanks for reading.
Noed is actually perfect to use at the moment, since gens go by insanely fast.

Sorry, but it is true just because your bad with controller for survivor does not make that a irrefutable fact either.
I personally don't see the problem with Mouse and Keyboard on Consoles all it will do is give people who have a hard time with controller or want to use M&K better access to the game.
Im not a bad player... Its just obvious how M&K grants you an advantage.

There has and many people still report it because it isn't something a person should say to another because they think they'll get away with it.
Acting that way is quite childish and shouldn't be ignored, which it isn't!
Well, theres a report button for a reason

Since several people have confirmed to you what I'm saying it's not just me. You may think M&K are superior they are not anything, but inferior for Survivor.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1061550#Comment_1061550
Because despite several people mentioning it was better on controller than M&K you continued to ignore it so I went straight to mention it was superior on PC to let you actually understand. Tons of people play to win or have the best edge they can. So why would they run an inferior piece of equipment? Do people not spend hundreds between good headsets, mouse's, and keyboards for good play? Ever consider some people also prefer controller for gaming yet prefer the versatility of a PC?
Honestly I still think even the Survivors movement on Console would be superior, but more of a even trade off compaired to using Controller and Mouse and Keyboard on PC. Like many mentioned the WASD movement in more ridged follow strict conditions and less fluid like the analog stick provides. You have significantly better play and movement with Controller die to the fluidity of that movement.
I honestly dont give a ######### if theres actually people that say that, because its simply not true, and even if it was, it doesnt matter in this case because we are talking about playing on console.

That was nice to hear :D

No I specifically said controller is better for survivor I never mentioned anything about using it on a console.
The sensitivity for survivor on console is still quite good, but the sensitivity of the same quality in game let's say both PC and Console are 100 is significantly different. You can preform overall better on PC with a controller then with a Mouse and Keyboard.
And also why would you bring up controllers if you're not even talking about playing on console... Why would you play with a controller on PC, ever playing these type of games lmao

Maybe you can, its so much easier and faster to control/use a mouse

If you cant understand without an explanation, you wont understand at all. Maybe one day with a person you love or with yourself there will be a "just message" or "just words" that will make you understand the suffering of racist harrassment. But its just a maybe, anyway. I know a lot of ppl that prefers to kick away a "gay" son then supporting then against "just messages" along his life that can drive a person into mental sickness.
Just keep your mindset. Or search about "nazism marketing" to learn how "just messages" can justify 5 million deaths.
Saying something in real life is different than saying something on social media or videogames. You shouldnt take those messages too seriously.

Well on keyboard there are set ways to move with WASD. You can't get a precise movement as you can with a joystick. With a joystick you can move freely, but with a keyboard you have to hold only one or two buttons that move you in a set direction. For example, if you hold W you move in a completely straight line. If you hold W and D you move forward more at a 45 degree angle. 360s for example are much easier to do on controller than with a keyboard
It's currently 4 am and I'm tired so my explanation might not be that great, but if you've played on both you'd know more of what I mean
Its incredibly easy to use the buttons... Dbd youtubers seem to 360 just fine, infact they can 360 way faster thanks to the proper sensitivity

110%
I've played on both console and on PC. I can feel the difference. I can see the difference. I can see the results.
You're just trying to say theres no advantage with using M and K over a mouse, even though its obvious. Max sensitivity on console is pathetically slow, theres no ######### way that you can play better on console if you're good enough. Just because you play better on console doesnt mean anything

What do you mean "set directionals"?

Controller survivors are better then Mouse and Keyboard survivors. You can do some cool stuff on Surv with M&K yet it's inferior in the same way Controller is to Mouse and Keyboard for Killer.
You cant be serious

But how? You're not explaining anything. It's how pc players play, and a lot of PC players use controller as survivor so really are no advantages to be had
Much more control with the mouse... Obviosly. Quick movements, flicks are far easier. Also on PC the sensitivity is like it should be, dont know of that will also be increased or it will stay low if you use M and K on console

You can if you add a lot of random jumpscares in poorly lit maps.
Jump scares force a reaction out of most people if they're random.
Jumpscares yeah, but I meant actually scary. With a terrifying atmosphere, making you scared to even move.

...and why is that? It's a personal preference mostly, especially on a game like DbD. Only things it really helps is Nurse and Huntress
M&K grants you an advantage.

I played the game as doctor. Got 3k, got a pip. After the game the survivor added me to a ps4 message group and said that "I should learn how to play killer etc..etc.." . I tunneled a survivor for the first hook. After that, instead of doing generators they tried to rescue him, so I got a lot of m1 hits. No problem there.
The problem is that he said to me: "makak0 de mierda"
It translates to "Piece of ######### monkey"
That is a racist slang. To whom I should report the player? To PSN or to BHVR?
And?

I honestly don’t know why it’s not enabled , survivor is fine on controller and I personally find it even easier to 360 and juke on an analog stick , and for killer the only killer I can see that will benefit is nurse, and she’s still extremely hard to learn due to her nature and the unnecessary base kit nerf. So, why isn’t m/k enabled ?
If you use mouse and keyboard on console youre trash

There are so many much more useful alternatives:
- Medkits (can be used with botany knowledge for quicker heals and more durability of kits)
- Inner Strength
- Aura perks and let other Survivors heal you
In the last scenario All Survivors get lots of points towards Benevolent which is great.
with Self-Care:
- you waste at least 32 seconds to heal or almost 40 if afflicted by Sloppy Butcher.
- you are extremely vulnerable to stealth killers with Nurses Calling. All the wasted time can be turned into nothing.
- You help killers to keep pressure by doing nothing useful for the team
I just don’t get.
You wont always be able to find a teammate, or a totem, to heal yourself. Inner strength however is incredibly useful because you can find a totem in the early game and use the perk later anytime you want after that

Bait. No killer needs a nerf right now, Trapper and Leatherface both need a buff

Getting tired of killers immediately assuming every swf I play in is some .000000000000005% meta gen rush squad and bring out the most sweaty killers and builds with an ebony mori and proceeds to ghostface tbag the entire match and mori everyone off a two hook because we didn't play perfect and loop him for 3 gens a chase so we get punished with getting tunneled into death... devs please do something about mori's they are broken and make the game utterly unfun for survivors and give no points to anyone.
My suggestion is simple, leave cypress as is, make ivory mori work only when you get one survivor to death hook status, and ebony work when you can kill all survivors only when they are death hook, why this hasn't been done is beyond me. Even as a player who enjoy's both sides fervently this change should have been done a long time ago.
A lot of the red rank SWFs are all using meta perks and trying to get the gens done as fast as possible.

The framerate is still really bad, Im not suprised if people are quitting the game

If you're saying he needs a nerf, you're basically saying hes too strong, aka OP.

THIS IS NOT A HILLBILLY HATE OR HIT-PIECE
So, with recent events, it seems that Hillbilly is now in the spotlight for everyone's hate. It was Nurse, then she got re-worked. It was Spirit, then Prayer Beads and Phasing body-blocking was removed.
While both Nurse and Spirit had actual problems, and I know that I personally hate on Hillbilly all the time, but I have a very serious issue to bring up that really is a genuine cause for concern. And that is that for the very little mechanical skill that Hillbilly does actually require, he's WAY to strong. And potentially the single STRONGEST killer in Dead by Daylight.
Hillbilly is a very straight forward killer, you have a chainsaw dash that will destroy pallets in (roughly) a 5th of the time it takes to break them normally, you have an incredibly fast dash ability (faster than a Survivor "Haste" effect) that can be sustained across an entire map and it's all tied to an instant-down ability, that only requires you to hold an activation button. With base killer statistics. And the coolest camera animation for movement.
Nurse is literally slower than Survivors, but her blink ability is very good at shortening a chase and can bypass the map. A small price to pay. She does also have the shortest lunge attack range, and that is actually a problem right now for, what I can assume, is a lot of people.
And yes, I play her. On console no less, but at lower ranks for now as my main account, a low green is getting paired with nothing but high purples. Super frustrating for a stealth killer main.
Spirit has the smaller killer stats, and a fantastic chase power. Being able to traverse the map with great speed and being almost undetectable is quite good, but you have a trade-off of you can't actually see anyone. Only their scratch marks.
Both of these fine ladies who ruled the top ranks are both "M1" killers, and I hate that term since it's only a PC thing. Myers, Oni and Ghostface all have an instant down, but require some sort of interaction and a build up. They sacrifice time chasing or damaging generators in order to get their instant down. Otherwise they're just a basic attacking killer.
Now, a lot of people are going to cry "JUNGLE GYMS!" or "INFINITE LOOPS!", but we can't always use them. Not every Survivor is a running god with map knowledge over every variation of the maps. Some are more easy to mind game out of their hiding spots, or cut off loops.
There is also a concern of the player base for Hillbilly. With that amount of mobility, it's easy to exploit perks like Kindred and Borrowed Time so that they don't proc, while still camping and tunnelling. Nor the concerns of those who actively body-block with the chainsaw revved in order to score a cheap and easy down.
I am NOT saying at all that Hillbilly should be put on the level of Legion or Old Freddy, and I'm NOT saying that we should make killers even worse, but for such a killer who has one of the lower mechanical skills, and is so rewarding compared to Spirit, Nurse or Huntress, there is just no denying that there is a legitimate problem here. We should be rewarding those who are playing higher skill required killers.
Hillbilly is rated "Difficulty: Easy" on his character profile and after playing him for a while now, I believe it.
Make difficult killers great again.
If you think that Billy is OP you're ######### delusional

I'm making this post because I'm suffering so badly and just want to reach out. I've never really looked at forums let alone make an account.
I'm losing my mind playing killer. Frame rates on console is beyond frustrating. I deal with survivors using the same meta builds, perks constantly giving them 2nd chances after second chances as I desperately try to just nail a hit. Downing someone isnt even a feeling of accomplishment. The swf, the perks, the items. All of it. All while frame rate is working in their favor in the background. I've recieved so many messages telling me that I'm trash, or a camper, or should uninstall when i dont even think they were even good. Frame rate on this game has made me consider rage quitting, throwing my controller, and uninstalling. Ruin use to help me get something worth while but now every gen is done in under 5 minutes. I have survivors that just mess with me at that point. I'm rank 6, I go against red ranks all the time. My connection is fine, nat is fine, I have amazing internet. I just wanna know I'm not ththe only one suffering and putting up with this game..
Both sides suffer from really bad framerate on console dbd

I think the biggest problem people have with billy is is extreme map pressure
Billy is the only killer that can zoom from one side of the map after hooking a survivor to the other sized to kick a gen and back to tunnel.
I expect this to be even stronger with the new ruin coming out.
(in no way am I calling for billy to be gutted I am just stating as to why I think some people have a problem with him so please dont storm my house with your torches and pick forks)
