It’s an offering slot anyways. Offerings should be meant to improve personal score at the end of the match or choose a map maybe. It should not have an effect on the outcome of the game by giving you any sort of advantage. Survivors don’t have one. Why should you?
Not tryna sound like "that guy" but what u said can b countered by a simple argument, survivors don't have offerings that can change the game dramatically but they do have keys and that can be a dramatic game changer as well, now anyways to answer the post I'll say that I actually kinda agree with the nerf for the most part because those ebony mori's were dangerous as [BAD WORD] and I don't believe any offerings/items should b that strong.

Well yeah u should b mad at the game for that not the player, that's kinda obvious tbh, slugging is a strategy to win so if u don't like it b mad at the people who decided the rules.

Yes finally someone who got the point.
Not tryna b rude but there's probably a reason only one person agreed with u, like pretty much everyone on this post said, keys needs b nerfed as well. keys end the game when killer is at their strongest, kinda like how old mori's could end the game when survivors r at their strongest.

I'll admit it's petty, but their actions deserve consequences.
If you don't want the toxicity, don't be toxic.
So aren't u technically screwing over ur other two teamates as well just because someone attempted an escape on a hook, if that's the case they're the guy that makes u like "y did he do that, ok" However ur the guy that destroys the whole team because I didn't like what someone did, I can't lie, that's a little hypocritical.

Killer is easier...
You don't have to
- rely on other players for your success
- know every inch of the maps
- be able to counter the killer's power and potential perks
- be in an area where there are still resources (pallets, windows)
- not get face camped or tunnelled or mori'd
- not have the gates spawn too close
Just to name a few...
I think I'mma go thro this and correct u, respectfully of course
1.Being a killer in high ranks u have to rely on the mistakes of survivors to do much(not always, This actually only applies to SWF)
2. As a survivor u really don't need to know every inch, really only a few good ones(for ex: killer shack is easy to find on pretty much any outdoor map without knowing the map in and out) tho there r some exceptions to this as well
3. Killers actually have to counter survivors powers as well(ex:DS)
4.Killers don't have to rely on windows but they do have to rely on a area being pallet free unless they mind game, which survivors can do this too
5. Killers may b able to face camp but survivors have ALOT of options around this(remember if u r face camped ur team can pretty much all escape if u also put up a decent chase before hand) and while survivors deal with mori's killers deal with keys(both suck to go against and r pretty much a free win)
6.U actually have a point with the exit gates so I can't say much here except good teamwork conquers even this(but you'd probably need a SWF to do this)
Anyways feel free to explain y u agree r disagree, have a good day.

The problem is that all three can be easily abused for other uses beyond the intended use.
When Decisive Strike is active, you cannot be picked up. So you can do a gen, a totem, or just if you want to be really safe into a locker, and the killer can't do anything to you.
Head On has a similar problem. Head On's hitbox for the stun just makes no sense, and makes it very hard to grab the survivor hiding in the locker. This means that if you can get a locker before the killer gets to you, you can get a free stun even if the killer knows exactly where you are. This is stupid, as the perk is best used as a way to help your teammates mid-chase, rather than a get out of jail free card.
Dead Hard lets become invincible for a short period of time along with moving you forward. Now, this is all fine and dandy until you realized that it lets you step up trapper's traps, among other things. Because having a single perk completely counter a killer's power is totally a good idea.
These are the perks that I can think off the top of my head have this issue, but I would love to see if we can find more examples, especially some killer ones.
I agree with DS being a little too good, mainly because it lasts too long so it's not really a anti-tunnel perk anymore it has became something else, however I actually have no problem with Dead Hard or Head On, Dead Hard can be baited out by just breathing down the survivor's neck for a second and Head On feels kinda situational for the most part because of how long u have to stay in a locker before hand, Now to bring up a perk on killers side, I'd have to say I hate going against NOED tho I don't really c it as being OP because it does have pretty easy counterplay, I just find it annoying to play against.

You dont. I play at Rank 1 as well, and I rarely see SWFs who burn a lot of stuff like that. I got one during the Double BP-Event, 4 man Console SWF (probably SWF, at least 3 of them were in an SWF, I think the 4th was as well, but I cant prove it), I was playing Hag and it was against an Object. Wasnt much fun at all, but this is like the first time in WEEKS (probable months) that I got such a group.
So from my experience, those are rare.
But you know what is not rare? Killers blaming that the Survivors were in an SWF. Got one of those two days ago, got one of those just today. "You need SWF and this Map to win"... We were all Solo and nobody used a Map Offering. Honestly, Killers blaming SWF as the only excuse for their loss happens waaaaay more often than those actual 4 man SWF Death-Squads.
I c this quite a bit, "I don't get SWF sweats alot" which means I have terrible luck because I get those SWF groups at least three times a day and I only play that game for a couple hours each day, and no I'm not gonna claim that I'm some god-like, mythical player but I'd say I'm skilled enough to go against other good players and if a SWF is determined to win the only reason they'd lose is because of poor communication, I'm not tryna sound like a [BAD WORD] but u can't outplay 4 people that know what ur doing at pretty much all times, anyways that's my thoughts, feel free to correct anything u disagree with, have a good day.

All the younger generations are going to think this is the way forward. Go out, learn a skill to make money that benefits the world, be an electrician, a hospital worker, a shop worker. Sitting playing a game with brain dead followers is not how to build a life. It's like Jersey shore, big brother etc.

Map Changes?
Toolbox nerf? (Basically useless for repairs)
Efficiency change with multiple Survivors?
Great Skill Check Nerf?
But yeah. "never did anything". Sorry that you as Killer have to be responsible that Gens are not being done and not some Perk.
Aight bro I'm not gonna just say something like, "it just because ur a survivor main" because u actually seem like ur trying not to b biased but those changes really did not help that much, toolbox Nerf was definitely helpful but is still not enough of a balance, I'm no godlike survivor but even I notice that several gens can go off while a killer is in thier first chase, even when they r doing pretty much all they can, it's like others have said if killers r using the same perks it shows that there's a problem that still needs to be fixed

So if onr survivor is left for any reason they don't deserve to escape or have points? But killers do. That is bias and bias has no place in a logical argument of 2 mature people. So if you refuse to actually take circumstances in and then argue around it I want to ask you to stop replying. I am tired of arguing with people who just arent good at it.
Tbh I kinda understand both sides with the hatch, if a survivor DC's I think a hatch is fair, but if it's just because survivors r doing poorly I do feel like there shouldn't be any a hatch. Idek I feel like a argument could b made for both sides if I'm being fair.

I like running naked Devour Hope on Spirit and Hag. I run Devour Hope as my only hex because running other, more obvious hex perks like Ruin can encourage survivors to look for the hex totem before they otherwise would have any reason to. I like running it on Spirit because Haunted Ground is a Spirit perk; even if people find the totem early, people tend to be extra wary of cleansing it against Spirit before 3 tokens because they're worried it's Haunted Ground. I like running it on Hag too because she's exceptionally good at defending hex totems because of her traps.
Woah psyche them out by bringing it with spirit, that is what we call a pro gamer move

Of course tunneling is effective. But it is extremly frustrating getting tunneled the whole game, especially when getting camped / proxycamped with no real chance to do anything against that. Unfortunatly with the upcoming MMR System, this will be the way to go for many.
"Scummy tactics" dont really exist on survivor side. How is bodyblocking a hook ruining the game for the killer? Unlike you, i play both sides and all survivors are able is to be a bit annoying with their flashlights. Tunneling/camping on the other hand is just ruining the whole round.
I also want to win, but i do it with style (and fairplay)
Like others said some r competitive and others play 4 fun, people who r competitive don't buy the game to gamble their wins to make it fun 4 everyone they came to win, sucks being tunneled but u cant b mad, (not actually referring to u when I say u can't b mad, just anyone who gets pissed at it)

There is a very big difference between broken perks and being camped. Killers and survivors both have things that are pretty broken, sure, but even if you are up against survivors running sweat builds, usually if they are not a SWF they aren't coordinated enough that there is absolutely nothing you can do against them. As a killer, you can at the very least make an attempt against them and get one or two. You are still, be you a survivor or a killer up against broken perks, able to play the game to an extent and make an effort.
Being camped, however, means that player in unable to play the game, get any points and it is an automatic gg go next for the person on the hook.
Like the two situations are not the same. One person is up against an OP thing utilized by people who wanna win no matter the cost, the other person is pressing spacebar and dying after 2 minutes because a killer decided it's more important for them to ruin the match for at least 1-2 people.
I get what ur saying but the problem is it's 1v4, for one of the 3 it's bs I agree, but but the killer usually loses anyways because other survivors can gen rush while it's happening, ig what im tryna say is that it makes sense that 1 survivor wouldn't b able to do something against a killer but the killer doing this to one survivor pretty much helps every other survivor escape, so while u can do nothing, now everyone else can do something, a killer however is by himself against things like that(ex:Locker DS) but in the end opinions r just opinions and I respect urs. Have a good day✌️

Honestly, this. If you're not gonna punish killers for camping, survivors shouldn't be punished for getting camped.
Like, the person on the hook literally has no choice in the matter. You can't exactly counterplay while you're on the hook.
Problem is both sides have things that have no counter play, so if we take one of those from one side the other side now has a huge advantage, and yes u have no counter play u can do yourself but considering it's 1v4 and 4 perks against 16 I'd say it's actually kinda fair how it is, killers are punished in a way when they camp as others in this post have said, survivors can finish pretty much every gen b4 that person dies so its really a bad idea unless that survivor kills themself on hook and in that case it would be the survivor messing the team over.

If you used a key as a survivor, it's not prematurely. It means the game has run it's course. That means you either activated all the gens needed for it to spawn, or you're the sole survivor.
I disagree using a key while others are alive and all gens aren't done yet is prematurely, because the objective isn't complete, meaning your leaving early, just like ebony moris kill survivors when only being hooked once is ending it prematurely, now as for the post's question I actually agree with everything you said. I think chapters can wait for overall game health.

@Deathslinger said:
Not to try and burst this bubble but I’m worried about how Stealth killers would ruin this idea...unless the other only way to remove exhaustion is if the killer stood still. If it’s just not running then Pig and Ghost would benefit the most, just by slowly approaching while exhausted but still being able to participate and capitalize on exhaustion perks. The rest would have to stand still, right?
Anyway, I’m not 100% against the idea, I think it’s an interesting thought and might be fun to play around with the idea of sacrificing time for a momentary boost of power but I’m afraid that killers don’t have the time to spare so most likely this could never be implemented right now.
I understand what ur saying and c your point👌

Whats biased about my post exactly? I'm curious.
U said if your team is doing bad u should b able to escape using a key on a team based game where if they die from being cocky the hatch opens anyway. It sounds like ur being biased, if not then I apologise.
-
@Unicorn said:
If I'm the only Survivor actually doing my objective while my teammates wanna bully the killer, urban evasion into corners for no reason, or self-care all game instead of helping me I believe I have the right to use a key to get out. Let's remember that Survivors need to repair a certain amount of gens to get hatch unless they're the last one alive.
If we're gonna talk about things like this lets look at it from all perspectives which I know can be very difficult for a biased individual.
It's a team based game for survivors, if they screw up then it's their fault, a killer can't do much about a key, plus if your team is doing that they'll eventually die off and you can get the hatch then. Everyone agreeing that pink moris shouldn't b in the game as well, it seems ur the only one who sounds biased.

No it's still playable more often than not but it does still happen sometimes. Also no, that's y I said they should make it where if someone keeps DC from internet multiple times that they should b penalized, but if it happens once when your playing I believe you shouldn't b banned unless you try to log in and play again right after that because at that point you know your internet will likely cut out. Your crappy internet connection is ruining other players experience. You absolutely should be penalized for repeated disconnects if you have unreliable internet. Maybe spend some of that time you play video games earning some extra money for a reliable internet service provider. Otherwise, play single player games that don't require an internet connection and stop ruining other people's gaming experiences. If money is that tight you can even check out games at your local library. Seriously though. If money is that tight that you can't afford proper internet then you shouldn't be spending so much time gaming. Get your life together. Go to community college and get an actual career.

No Nerf needed it's not really that dangerous to go against. There are plenty of perks survivors use that require little effort, you can spend the time corrupt intervention is active to get rid of totems because killers usually use NOED anyways. Plus genrushing makes games last like 5 minutes most people on both sides usually like longer matches.
