Technically incorrect, unless we're talking about the reboot many years later. In the original movies he didn't molest children he just killed them.
The Freddy in DBD is the 2010 remake. So no it isn't incorrect.

Well you're in luck. According to comments made by the actor that played him Freddy Krueger is probably bisexual.
Freddy Krueger is pedophile who molested kids at a Preschool he worked at.

Leatherface is the most pointless dlc ever. He's boring, garbage that you play for memes. Why was he even added when Hillbilly already exists (for the most part they're the same character).
The only thing good about this chapter is BBQ&Chilli.
Waste of ######### money. A crash grab to draw in Texas chainsaw fans. It's the same situation with Ash.
But since you put him in the game BHVR, you better be thinking of a rework because this killer is crap, boring, and a disgrace to his horror icon status.
-
They should fix hitboxes in general. Survivor hitbox needs be accurate to their character model, not like this crap:
Hitbox bugs for killer and survivor need to be fixed. powers that do damage are inconsistent, especially Huntress and Deathslinger.
-
Yes he does, I love Halloween but Shape is an outdated and outclassed by a simular killer, Ghostface. One change I would make is to make stalking at all ranges the same speed.
Good Ghostface players will scout for survivors, stalk them to 99 (preferably at long range) and pop the instadown when they get close. You can't do this with Shape because long range stalking is so slow and time consuming.
-
Silent Hill... I only watched Stranger Things because of DBD. liked the first season, second was decent but the third was meh, the sci-fi, horror mystery of the first season wasn't there anymore and we're left with "he he evil Russians under a shopping mall". Also Suzie..... ######### SUZIE!!!
Silent Hill is one of the best crafted horror games series to date (alongside Resident Evil).
-
I'll be finding a different build for PH than the typical killer meta.
-
No and thank ######### I haven't because I hate Badmap Palletschool!
-
Conclusion: Freddy rework was a mistake and the devs should have improved the old kit instead.
-
Yes he is bugged, best play Oni instead.
-
I'll give my opinion since I main Deathslinger.
1) The hitbox is inconsistent like Huntress hatchets, the devs have stated this issue.
2) Well that's your problem not the killers
3) I'd make the brown reload addon basekit
4) What would be the point of sniping across the map if the chain is just gonna break?
5) That depends on the environment, the objects around you and the survivor. It's called counterplay and it's healthy for a game.
6) I believe it's to do with recoil, aim for the torso area.
Conclusion: Sounds like you're mostly complaining over your lack of skill with the killer. So you can either learn to play him or play a killer you enjoy.
-
A killer that relies on sounds that become bugged every few patches is not easy to play. That's why I play killers like Deathslinger, because his power doesn't relie on such annoyances.
-
I think his power needs an update too. Out dated and out classed by Ghostface. You could put Oni as a better Michael too since Oni has the better chase ability.
-
Well I know one thing that needs changing with new Freddy:
Very fun game.....

Honestly I wouldn't even mind that. Have him be able to be played as either old Freddy or reworked Freddy at the same time. Maybe through an add-on. It would add alot more variety when facing him. Maybe have them be combined together as a compromise.
I'd go back to old Freddy's kit and improve it. But that will never happen, they'll just nerf him until he's weak and boring like Legion.
-
Because they abuse lighting issues and are boring as hell.

Here is a thread from not long ago. The opening post in the thread i'm linking to, wants to nerf Freddy due to finding them boring and always seeing Freddy after Freddy using the same meta build.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/156912/freddy-needs-a-nerf-to-fix-how-boring-he-is/p1
He's not wrong though.

Yeah you can start by bringing back old Freddy.

No I actually just tunneled the crap outta a p3 Blendette as Forever Freddy. Ate DS, still got a 3k with 4 gens left. Basically let the Feng go.
You play forever Freddy? Your just as bad as those boring blendettes.

tbh I don't see why he couldn't be 110% when charging of the abyss when Pyramid Head's ability goes through objects.
-
Pyramid Head may be the strongest now, not only does he have the power of Silent Hill and a huge knife, he can also outright kill a survivor at base. Even Michael needs an add-on to do this. Pyramid Head wouldn't fear Freddy so that manlet is getting chopped in half. As for Spirit.... we all know what he would do to her ;)
-
Definitely Kate, I would marry a girl like her.

Yeah I know but I don't have money for the games. The first movie is free on Crackle and the second in on Netflix so I figured watching them would at least give me a sense of what's going on
Well then I suggest watching some Silent Hill lore videos considering the movies are nonsensical and have no respect for the world created by team Silent.
This guy has some great lore videos like this one on Pyramid Head.

I know nothing about the story behind the new chapter but my girlfriend is crazy excited about it so I looked for the movie online and found it on Crackle. Just figured I'd pass that info along in case anyone else wanted to see it.
The chapter is based on the first three games not the crappy movies.

Yes definitely. Take Pyramid Heads mori, the knife should chop the survivor in half.

Lol, are you serious? Nurse is already the hardest thing to learn in the game, survivor (especially swf) is literally the easiest thing to learn in the game. Play survivor needs to be made much more difficult before the raise the skill cap of nurse even further.
You are either blind or lazy if you can't read the word Spirit....

Hispanic? You mean like Jane Romero...

This is the best licenced map in the game. Much better looking than that crappy Badmap Palletschool.

Does anyone think about all the shady stuff that behavior does?
Remember when they released Ash from Ash vs Evil Dead with one of the most powerful perks in the game?
Yeah and then they nerfed the obviously overpowered perk weeks later once people had bought Ash. Honestly, I can't see how anybody thought that perk wasn't going to be broken on release.
Anyone think about how it costs 14 dollars to play as the real ghost face?
I know you can buy the behaviour ghostface, but if you want to play the true ghostface from the movies it will cost you extra money because not only do you have to buy the power, but then you have to buy the costume seperately. You can technically just buy the body and it would only be 4 dollars more after purchasing the character. Why did they make the choice that the ghostface you buy doesn't wear the same costume as the ghostface in all of the movies? It wasn't because of licencing because evidently they were able to make and release the skin.
Ever think about how they touted making the rift a massive grind as a gift to the community?
I don't remember where I saw it, but there was an official DbD communication that said their battle pass, the rift, was better for the community because unlike other passes the paid route didn't progress faster, and therefore there was less of an incentive to buy it. I understand that it would suck to see other people progressing faster through the rift, but to not opt for it and tell the community you did them a favor is actual bs. All the devs did was make sure that everyone playing was subjected to the same massive grind.
On the subject of the rift, what do you guys think about all the free stuff that you get from the rift?
Honestly, I'm actually not even mad about this one because the Devs are giving out some free cosmetics, but I just want to draw attention to two things. First, the vast majority of what comes out in the rift are just re skins of existing charms or re skins of charms that you already earned earlier in that rift. Second, the free rift is so empty. Really, there are so many blank spots that they could have put like a free blood points or iridescent shards into. The point I'm trying to make is that while they are being generous and giving free stuff, it seems like they are in many ways giving out the barest minimum, which in my mind supports the idea that to the devs these objects aren't free. To me, the devs give so little because they would rather give nothing at all, and they only give what they do because they know that by making these things unlocked by time they can ensure a consistent, returning player base of people who would rather not play the game, but feel they have to because not playing the game means they permanently loose out.
What about the statement that the Devs didn't want to split the player base by giving certain communities cosmetics while other didn't get them?
Well they certainly didn't see that through entirely because right now switch is getting its own unique Nintendo cosmetic, and DbD mobile is getting its own cosmetics. Ask the devs and the response will be that they are not the same team that does DbD mobile, so they have no control over it.
Remember when you thought that the Dead by Daylight team actually cared about the experience of its players?
I do. I remember when lullaby for the dark came out and I was so happy that I could play and support a game where the developer was doing things like giving away free dlc or raise money for charity. Over time that Iost that feeling. It was when the cosmetic store opened where you could spend a whole ten dollars on a single outfit, and then you could wait a week or two to see something else that you can't have. Then when they shoved down our throats that they were so generous that you can grind your life away to buy everything or mostly everything, but the rate at which you accumulate iridescent shards i so slow that in actuality that will never happen. Then the rift came out and now every three months I get to see a collection of items I will never have because I just don't have the time to complete the rift or the money to pay my way through it.
Well, this post ended up becoming something entirely different than what I set out to make. Feel free to rant about BHVR below I've found this experience to be very cathartic.
I'll Agree on Ash, most pointless licenced DLC along side Leatherface.

I was watching a Huntress steamer once that was genuinely annoyed they found a survivor in a locker, because now they had to either carrying them to a hook or drop them on the ground before they could reload 🤣
"Out of my way #########, I've got to reload"
-
*Imagine hiding in lockers against a Huntress*

Killer is more interesting than survivor. All the killers have different abilities where as survivors are just skins. If the survivor perks were unique traits like the Identity V survivors then survivor would be interesting since they would play different roles to play on the team.

Spirit power is OP. You have no sense of direction, maybe the same effect of the nurse used in blink would let it improve
Give Spirit the old Freddy effect when she's phasing. That gives her better counterplay and also adds a new skill cap to her.

Oh, totally. If you have the time and the ability, play each of the first three! SH1 still oddly holds up despite being a PS1 game. They'll provide you with a canon explanation of why the town is as messed up as it is. Plus Harry and Heather are great protagonists.
And theres always let's plays and lore videos if you can't get a hold of the game.

If you haven't played Silent Hill 2, I highly recommend it. You need no knowledge about the rest of the series or the larger story and the story and atmosphere are almost without equal in any game before or since. The graphics are definitely dated and the gameplay is stodgy (intentionally, however), but the experience is 100% worth it. It's simply one of the deepest stories written for a video game, ever.
Plus it's spooky as hell. I didn't beat the game until 8 years after it had released. Couldn't get through that apartment complex without whimpering and turning the game off.
I would also check out SH1 and SH3 too. Plus the dlc has a SH1 map with tons of Easter eggs like Alessa crying in the toilet room. Also Heather (SH3) is the survivor.

Yeah, I probably wasn’t even walking when the game came out. Plus I wasn’t even playing horror games when I was younger. I would watch. Playing horror games is worse than watching movies for me.

Thanks for the clarification as well. This was great marketing for Silent Hill franchise because now I’m interested in what else is in store in the future.
Glad to see new people interested in Silent Hill.
If the rumours are true Team Silent (the original devs) are returning to make a new Silent Hill game.

Lol okay, I just finish watching both films for the first time. I prefer the first one than than second. The second one felt rushed.
I only mention the second film because I was curious about Pyramid Head a character. He doesn’t actually seems like a villain.
As I mention, I’m guessing he someone who follow orders that are given to him.
The chapter is based on the games not the movies, check out Silent 2 (game) if you want to know his lore.

I almost got confused. Especially seeing that Pyramid Head was protective of Cheryl in Silent Hill 2. However, reading the backstory on dbd it makes sense why he is now part of the entity.
The entity gave him a new role. Punish the survivors.
