Pay more attention to sounds. Most of the time you can HEAR Wraith before you can even see him. When you hear his snarls or footsteps, position yourself either near a safe window (like Shack) or a long pallet loop. His speed boost lasts only 1.25 seconds so he can't exactly cover every single distance you make.
If you somehow have to resort to an unsafe loop for his lunge, just treat him sort of like a Pig dashing. 95% of the time a Wraith will fake going a way and instead go the other, so don't fall for it.
His only addon that needs changes is All Seeing Blood, everything else is fine.
So yeah, you are wrong.

Predictions for 27th?
I have a feeling that it will be slightly better but not like pre re. Probably not good enough for me to return.
And I will probably uninstall and forget about the game for a while.
I'm hopeful for the update. I think the problem was always the HDD thing considering people who put DBD on a SSD say it never ran that well. So, knowing the problem, I hope it's going to be easier to solve it.
Maybe it won't be our promised 60FPS, but I'd be happy with a stable 30~45 that doesn't drop to the single digits on some maps or some killers.
At the worst case, they can just give us the Switch treatment and lower the graphic resolution, which I'm sure most people won't care if it means better performance.
-
I've played every Silent Hill from 1 to 4, so I was hyped AF for the chapter.
-
Ghostface can't be revealed by two survivors at the same time. Most of the time when you think he isn't being revealed is because there's already other survivor looking at him. Crouching behind something can also reset the revealing process.
But yeah, if you or the Ghostface has high ping you it is way harder to do it.
-
Kate is the best survivor. By far the best skins and I like how her role is of a "hopeful songbird".
With killer I agree with you it's Oni. There's just something special about transforming into a super saiyan and running around beating survivors with a big stick. Spirit is a close second as an anime waifu with a katana, just wish her power was more fun to go against without Iron Will.
-
Grabs as Ghostface, Wraith and Spirit. Grabs are so satisfying. Unfortunately dedicated servers don't like grabs.
-
I usually don't spend time setting up portals. I like to start my chases and whenever I down a survivor I spend 10 seconds placing a portal near a generator. It acts as a tracking tool and also a bit of slowdown if survivors decide to seal it.
-
Map offerings are bad design in the first place. People shouldn't be able to pick up maps which are benefitial to them, especially if you consider that the Entity likes randomness. It also adds up to the grind.
-
I always get it as Ghostface :(
-
Black coffee, sometimes a sandwich if I'm very hungry.

Solo queue can be amazing sometimes. I even had to record a match today:
https://youtu.be/m31Ikc4Bxps(Ignore the lag, console pleb)
5 gens done in 4:40 against a rank 2 Spirit. Sure she was pretty bad, but imo it's still impressive. Solo queue can be efficient too.
My hope is that a functioning MMR is what will save solo queue, so you can actually get 3 teammates that are on your level.
-
The maximum distance for the 2nd blink happens when the "burning" on Nurse's hand reaches her wrist. Keep attention to it until you develop the muscle memory.
Alternatively it's also when the borders of your screen start fading to black, but that's harder to notice imo.
Edit: actually what I described is the end of the chain blink window. To get the maximum distance out of the 2nd you have to start charging it immediately after you finish the 1st.
-
pc good console bad bla bla
The game is not even close to dying. In fact, DBD is probably at its peak now.
-
I'd move Ghostface to S. The fact he instadowns means you can get up to 3 downs just farming your obsession once.

But does wraith really need the extra 15% now? I don’t think so.
I still think haunted is fine where it is, as if you give on average 1 down because of it per game + time wasted, it’s getting value.
15% extra speed is basically free bloodlust 3 on Wraith. It helps a ton on long loops on which his lunge isn't that good.
Haunted is not a bad perk, but putting it into A tier for me is a stretch. It can blow up on really bad times (like if everyone is injured or hiding) or not even blow up at all if survivors are smart.
-
No Way Out, Haunted Grounds and Enduring are overrated here, those should drop a tier. And PWYF is a solid B, it's amazing on Ghostface and Wraith.
I also agree that Tinkerer was overbuffed.
-
Discordance ;)
-
I've found that passive slowdowns and chase perks work better on killers with no mobility. Being 115% with no movement power means PH can't make the best use out of Pop without sacrificing chase time. That's why I prefer Corrupt, Surge, Sloppy, etc.
-
Am I the only one who rarely sees this build after the Undying nerf? Most Blights I go against run Ruin and Pop, and I see Infectious being used more than Tinkerer on him.
I actually went against my first Ruin + Undying Blight in weeks yesterday. It was on Lery's and the poor guy lost both totems in less than a minute.
-
I haven't DCed yet, even with all these problems, but I understand people who do it because of that (although they should probably play another game meanwhile). Sloppy Butcher is basically an instadown nowadays and Dead Hard is a true health state because you freeze in place whenever someone uses it.

Yea most new player don't read fourms and twitter they just see youtube adds saying the game is great dam game journalist
Yeah, but even after someone buys the base game they still have interest in selling DLCs, and I doubt any new player is going to buy chapters in this state (hence why I still haven't bought the RE chapter).
-
I find it funny they did a sale on consoles in the state the game is right now. Like, are they really expecting to attract new players??

Ludwig is easy lmao I even did a bl4 run a while ago, nurse is harder to master than ludwig.
Well, we agree to disagree lol.
-
The truth no one wants to hear is that DBD overall is easy. Even things like Nurse don't even compare to, let's say, Ludwig on Bloodborne.
-
It's to prevent maps with double floors to have insanely strong loops. Imagine Haddonfield if survivors didn't stagger after falling.
-
Spirit is one of the hardest killers to play unless you have a 3000$ headset or keep doing the stand still mindgame. Tracking via sound is actually skillful and I'm more impressed at Spirits who can land every phase than I am at Huntress main number #7212 hitting a hatchet that explodes on air but still does damage. It's just that majority of survivors run in a straight line or camp a pallet when a Spirit is phasing, making she seem easy.
-
I hope. I uninstalled the game for the first time after the RE patch. Installed it again for the event, but if things don't get AT LEAST on the level it was before the update, then yeah I'll have to quit.
-
This is a thing since I started playing the game. No idea how you only noticed it now. I think rapidly crouching makes the sound go away.
-
The first mori I suffered was against a Devour Hope Hag on Haddonfield as Feng Min. I hade no idea what that perk was so I was very confused because I haven't even be hooked yet.
The first mori I used was against a Claudette as Doctor... because she brought a flashlight. Yeah I wasn't very mature.

Reminded me of this video.

Oni is a good M2 killer that, from my experience, doesn't suffer a lot from lag (only when absorving orbs, but that's not a crucial moment). I recommend you try him.
If you still want to play Huntress, maybe try her double Iri combo? Try your luck with an instadown and follow up being a 115% M1 killer.
-
Yes. They are my only way of getting skins as I only have 1100 aurics and don't plan on buying more.
-
It's the 27th of this month. The blood hunt starts on the 29th.
-
Suffocation Pit, Azarov's Resting Place and Sanctum of Wrath are terrible map designs especially for this situation. You can essentially cut the map in half and 3, 4 or even 5 gen very easily like you did. Azarov's being the worst offender as there's usually one half of the map that has 2~3 pallets at best.
-
Definitely OoO for me. It was a perk that always made me want to DC (although I never did) just to how antifun it was. I never had an enjoyable match against old Object users.
-
As a GF main, playing Myers just feels so clunky. I hate playing him because I'm always thinking "Man, GF could do this way much better".
-
Infinite Tier 3 is no joke a D tier addon, no idea how anyone says it's OP. One of the strengths of Myers is 99ing his T3 while keeping his low TR on T2 and getting survivors by surprise. You waste so much time stalking only to finally become a standard 32m TR killer with a slight longer lunge.
Once survivors realize you have it, nobody is going to heal anymore, so you're basically wasting all that time to become Legion without deep wounds.
-
Sure, the entire playerbase has now ceased complaints, thanks to your incredible meaningful 10 seconds clip. You're amazing!
-
That's one of the reasons I barely play Blight. Half of the maps in DBD are unfun to play as him and I don't like using map offerings.
-
Agree almost 100% with this tier list, wow.
-
Can't check right now, but around 150.
-
I just find the blinding extremely desnecessary. Everything that blinds killers, including flashbangs, come with a sound or visual indicator that you are about to experience that white screen, meanwhile Blast Mine is just there BOOM. It's super annoying on dark maps where you are already straining your eyes to see.
It should just have been a stun. What good is blinding a killer that is on a gen anyway?
-
God forgive me, but Spirit.
Don't blame me, she's the killer less affected by the sluttering on PS4.
-
Thanks, I was just booting on the game.
-
It's already over as far as I know.
-
I want another stealth killer that applies some sort of status effect that survivors have to manage (like madness or sickness).
-
I play on last gen consoles and I don't think this should happen. Yeah, the frame drops suck, but it's not like movements in DBD are so complex that you need 120 FPS to play well. Although at this point I wish I could just play with a stable 30 that doesn't drop into the single digits.
-
I don't fully agree with these categories. Ranged killers should be included in the antiloop category (every killer with a ranged attack has antiloop). High mobility and trapping should be changed into "map presence" and "area control" respectively to include more killers.
It would be something like that imo:
- Area control killers: Trapper, Hag, Twins
- Stealth killers: Wraith, Myers, Pig, Ghostface
- Antiloop killers: Nurse, Doctor, Huntress, Clown, Spirit, Deathslinger, Pyramid Head, Trickster, Nemesis
- Map presence killers: Hillbilly, Freddy, Legion, Plague, Demogorgon, Oni, Blight
-
Jokes on you, I don't even look at the lobby while waiting.

Or she just would delete the character file and watch the painful side effects? Seems easier to implement and less likely to get censored in about 30 countries
Well, I guess that would be better lol.
