I just played a game where someone playing Nea with speed buffs literally stopped running to tea bag me in the stun animation before jetting and juking, and then doing it again.I know it’s petty but the fact that she could do that is ridiculous and there could be some grim satisfaction for killers if survivors teabag in their line of sight they’re automatically exposed and the killer is twice as fast and stun resistant for a brief period.
Although I hate t-bagging, they're wasting time not making distance to the next pallet and they're just trying to infuriate you. Just accept it and try to demolish them or give them a tasty face-camp as "thanks" for the t-bag.

Why every survivor main is toxic...i don't get it.. Everyone wants to be a toxic a$$hole who Bully and troll killers.. Every killer what i have seen have A fu(King brain and "try" to respect survivors but surv mains can't do that for some reason.Generalizing every single survivor main as "Toxic" sure is a great way to unite the community and incite civil debate.
/sNo, not all survivor mains are toxic, I'm a survivor main by playtime and I never T-bag, and I always say GG at the end of a match.
*although I do use DS and pallet loop, but that's a strategy and an OP perk, not bm. -

Thank you devs for this amazing Summer BBQ event. It was the most fun I've ever had on Dead By Daylight. I have never played so much in the last two weeks as I have for this event. It was too many points. I enjoyed levelling my killers and survivors and burnt all the BBQ offerings I had. Also reached Devotion 1 in my last game just as the event ended. Will look forward to more such awesome events in the future. Thank you!!!I guess you could say they did a pretty good job so far.

Okay so I downloaded dbd last week and played about 5-7 games and i only play as the shape because I’m a huge Halloween fan and the other killers don’t really catch my attention. Do I NEED to play as other killers or can I just continue how I am? Also my style is to find survivors and hook them and pretty much camp so I know they die and this has gotten me wins but one game I only got one kill which is a first and afterwards I got some salty guy in my messages.Ignore salt or revel in it
99% your Evil Within 2 and then tap it to go to Evil Within 3 if you're playing Myers
Only camp when exit gates are open, if the survivors are altruistic, if there are multiple hooked survivors, and if there are survivors are nearby
Learn how to mindgame (moonwalking and stuff)

I as survivor main, I have to accept that NOED is a powerfull perk to many killers. Actually in this event with the famous gen rush NOED is the hero is some matches. But, the problem with this perk is that it's a totem. And can be destroyed easily as how you can see in this video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gJph2w_TJIWhat do you think about become this perk to a normal one, without totem, but the killer just would have a one hit down to the first survivor he finds.
PS: srry for the bad english...
If you want to change NOED to be more fair to both sides, I think you should do what it used to be, 120 seconds of 1-hit downs and then the thing runs out

So, I came up with an idea on how to balance Freddy, in both ways (from a survivor's perspective and from the killer's). One of Freddy's powers (and I am talking about movies, not DbD) is that of having full control over his dream world, which means he can change the environment at will. What if you replaced his current skill with the ability to change the map. Say, someone is repairing a generator. Freddy activates his skill, which would be limited to 2-3 uses per match (or have like a 150 sec cooldown) and he changes the whole map. Survivors get repositioned somewhere else, generators swap their position or even end up in new ones. Since this would be enough of a time waster for survivors, I think it would actually help onto making him more balanced to play as AND against, possibly making him one of the killers you would pick in high level matches.I also had an idea which I posted back in march on the steam forums
""Freddy has been the worst killer in the game for a while now, he's quite the joke considering it takes 7 seconds to even interact with a survivor, and a simple skillcheck wakes them right back up, so therefore I have a suggestion on how to potentially fix him
Power: Dream Demon
Hold M2 to channel your power on one survivor at a time, slowly pulling them into the dreamworld
While channeling Freddy has a 30% slower movement speed (85%)Stage 1: Awake
all survivors start awake
Freddy cannot interact with survivors while they're awake
Survivors can pull others out of stage 3: asleep by performing a wake up actionStage 2: Drowsy
After channeling your power for 10 seconds, the channeled survivor enters stage 2
Survivors cannot get out of stage 2
Survivors can now see Freddy
Freddy can interact with survivors
Freddy's lullabye is replace with a 24m terror radiusStage 3: Asleep
After channeling your power for 10 seconds, the channeled survivor enters stage 3
Survivors can get out of stage 3 and back into stage 2 by doing the following actions:
Failing a skillcheck of any kind, exception to Self Care, Overcharge and DS
another survivor performing the wake up action on them.
being hookedFreddy's terror radius is 16m to all survivors in stage 3
Freddy can down survivors in stage 3 in one hit
Freddy can see survivor's aura if they are in stage 3 and outside his terror radiusAdd-on changes:
Class photo only applies when channeling survivors in stage 1
Pill bottle makes Freddy invisible if you are not in his terror radius
The "block" add-ons makes channeling time shorter.
The range add-ons are the same
Add-ons increasing his speed after sleeping now increase movement speed while channelingI feel like these changes could make Freddy stronger and perhaps elevate him to the mid-tier
Please let me know what you think of all these changes and if you think something is UP/OP, please tell me!""

playing against myers, the exit gates are open, I got downed before I could get to them, fair enough killer outplayed me, he hooks me, he is a good killer doesn't camp he chases 2 survivors to the gates. I am hooked pretty close but not right next to it, another survivor is making his way over from the other side of the map to try and unhook. This is the fun part, the 2 dickheads he is chasing instead of running out proceed to teabag him on the line, giving him E3 then they run out, he casually wanders back over to me and watches me die with E3, the other survivor has no choice but to go, which I would have too.
For the love of god, the exit should do the blood warden thing if you hang out in there to long IMO, it would stop idiots from doing these types of things surely.
When playing solo, you can only trust yourself.

I only farm with Pizza Dwights and with the last survivor if he had a very bad team, else they can go straight onto the hook.

It detects and auto closes the lobby if any SWF joins. If they arent going to blacklist MLGA, then they cant blacklist this either.
If they have a problem with this one, then I guess refusing to blacklist a known 3rd party app that affects gameplay like MLGA was a bad call.
- Name?
- Is it blacklisted yet?

He is not wanted here on PS4. (:I think the Xbox 360 lads should take one for the team, as we in the PC market do not want him back.
The only way we'd take him would be if he was forced to play against 5 blink Nurse's on the Game map with Ebony Mori's, and whenever he tried to play killer he could only play Wraith without perks on Blood Lodge.

Self Care – allows you to heal 3 full health states
Botany Knowledge – when combined with above allows infinite heals. My pleasure.
I think you might be playing slightly too aggressively if you have to SC 3 times in a match, but let me just tell you why I think this isn't a good idea.
It doesn't fix the main problem with SC, which is that
1. It makes healing entirely self sufficient
2. It is much more efficient time-wise than actually being healedTo prove point 2:
SC is 24 seconds
normal healing is 12 secondsBUT
you need to find someone to heal you, which can take time.also, being healed means you and the other person aren't doing anything, meaning that you're both using 12 seconds, which combined is 24 seconds.
What I'd do?
Reduce SC healing speed
or/and
make it reset healing if interrupted (doesn't count if self healing with medkit.Your very last suggestion was actually one that the Developers were throwing around. This change would be a buff for one special boi: Freddy. If the healing reset then taking the risk of missing a skillcheck during a chase is no longer as rewarding as you are no longer able to return to a healthy state mid chase after missing the skill check.
But Freddy is super OP, they even had to nerf him!
/sYeah it kinda sucks that our lonely, sad and depressed sweater boi didn't get that small buff thrown his way.

It was only 15 minutes to finish the summer event and I only needed three more gens to get the Kate cosmetic, I were a couple of hours playing to reach from 55 cocktails to the 87 I had before the last match. Well, I repared all the three gens almost on my own and finished the match one minute later the deadline (15:01 UTC). For a goddammn minute and I started the game on time. I don't know if this happened to someone else or is this a bug but I'm pissed out.I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I needed to get this off my chest.
you got unlucky, sorry mate. You can take solace in the fact that the cosmetic wasn't anything too special, but I do understand that it sucks to miss it by a literal minute.
Yeah, that's the thing. If I weren't be able to get it on time that's fine, but the point is that I did it. Only-by -a-minute.

I recommend playing Civ5 or survivor. If you don't own Civ5, then I also recommend FTL, 60 Seconds and L4D2. These are great, relaxing (if played on easy/normal) games.
I would recommend playing the games mentioned before, or any other games you have and wait until the mid-chapter balance update, then come back. Perhaps a break will help you with your issues.

Itd be really nice to not even trust some of your survivor buddies at first, let me know what you think!"Hey dude I'm coming to help you on that gen"
"ok"
Now both know that the other isn't a killer"Hey you coming to help me with this gen?"
"What gen? I'm saving this guy of a hook"
Now the guy on the gen knows that the survivor incoming isn't trustworthy and will run away.Or to give you the TL:DR: the guy is countered by SWF, which is either partially or fully present in 70% of games.

Just had a game where I managed to grab the last Survivor as they tried to jump through the hatch. God, that feels absolutely amazing to do.That got me thinking, are there any other moments or aspects of playing Killer that you personally find really enjoyable? Like getting that clutch 4K, immediately catching someone who DS'd you or something along those lines?
I figured it was time to start talking a little more about what keeps us coming back to playing Killer, what makes it fun for us.
When a 4 man SWF rushed the basement while I was playing Hillbilly, and I downed all 4 of them. Deerstalker helped me find them and hook them all, since they all took DS and Bond over Unbreakable. Only one of them got to use DS in the end, and that was when all but one was dead. She hit it and with Enduring I swiftly caught her before she was able to get the unhook.
It was a good, happy day when that happened, really cheered me up after a few prior matches which went poorly.

So, today there's a lot of SWF threads, since there's basically nothing else to discuss and I want to show you one simple example of deleting the partying functionality from the game and did it help at all.
Before I start, I'll say that I have ~1100 hrs in the game and play Killer and survivour (both solo and SWF) equally.Alright, let's start!
I'll tell you a story about a game called Armello. This is some sort of Game of Thrones for 4 players. This game had an issue with teamers, who played in a group of 3vs1 when the game was intended to be played 1vs1vs1vs1. So, the developers just removed an ability to play with friends in public matches. People, who only played with friends for sun left immediately, since no one wants to play with 1 or 2 bots. But the actual toxic players remained and still do the thing survivours in DbD did before SWF was introduced: dodged the lobby until they're matched with friends (which is pretty easy with the small pleyerbase of that game). So, if you remove SWF from DbD something similar will happen: a LOT of players, who just played SWF to play with friends wil quit the game, while the most toxic ones will remain and will be able to join their friends because of the lessened survivour amount. Not to mention that such a decision will increase queue times by a lot which most of the other playes won't like too (though, there really are special people who like to spend 30 minutes of their life waiting for a 10 minute game #fun)
Not to mention that Survivours are kind of a majority of this game and this decision would considerably lessen devs' income, which is also why SWF will never be removed (LOL, so stop whining already).
True, I'd be more in favor of nerfing/reworking parts of SWF so there would be something to offset the advantage gained from comms.
