Actually they won't able to update Demogorgon since the chapter was deleted. I think that they could find a way to fix the dailies but most likely that won't even touch the Demogorgon unless BHVR gets the license again or they can fix the dailies.
Mandy has previously expressed that they can make whatever balance changes to the character they want. And I doubt BHVR went through Konami to change Pyramid Head’s, given how quickly they did it from when they first acknowledged the feedback.

Only for training mode and no rewards/achievements. If bots ever officially make their way into the live game, I’m out. I already despise the terrible AI in DbD Mobile.

This, or a hatch offering with Plunderer’s and hope you get a key and the killer goes to patrol the gates after closing the hatch.

the thing is, there is far easier dailys compared to this One. Like the Legion Challenge for example. Or Freddys.
Freddy’s is a sleeper (pun intended)!

Ok this thread is sending me for a spin. Does no one hold shreds to fake out a dodge or to zone anymore?
You can, but doesn’t mean you have to - or should - commit to the shred attack afterward. You can run a risk of missing your attack.

Zero seconds... in DbD Mobile. Not sure why we don’t have their lobby in the base game yet.

I think if a killer/survivor has not moved out of a spot for 60 seconds they should lose collision. This will stop them from being able to bodyblock areas where the survivor blocked can move around a small area but can't leave.
As far as blocking jigsaw box they could do something similar to PH staying by a cage for too long like reverse bear traps deactivated when the pig stays near a box for a certain amount of time.
60 seconds?! Try five.

The forums are only the written expression of what is visually seen taking place in the game. Not coming here to talk about, discuss, and debate the game’s problems doesn’t make them go away.
In fact, I would feel worse not being able to vent the frustrations of the game, and at least find some likeminded players or thinkers. Which is why you’ll find it’s typically the opposite here: people quitting the game, and not the forums.

yeah i really want jane so it really sucks but i could always buy jane by herself, which i am really tempted to do honestly bc i like her.
Don’t forget you can earn any original characters just by playing the game enough (purchase with iridescent shards). This also means you can just buy Jane and not Plague, if so desired.

The fact you unironically called him weak is very telling.
He is somewhat weak, outside of camping (especially facecamping) and finding survivors in dead zones. Doesn’t excuse him being the only killer in the game that can guarantee a kill by standing still.

its really not a buff, but it doesn’t matter what they do to him, any killer that can literally swing a weapon can 4K stomp any baby survivos if they’re bad. he still gonna be the same mending simulator. Also they nerf his most fun addon iri button for no reason, I guess baby survivors can’t even handle the terror radius
Yeah, he is still a M1 simulator for survivors. He is one of the, if not the, most boring killers in the game to play or face, in my opinion. I would have preferred a rework, but it is what it is.
You say nerf; I say buff. As soon as you would just randomly hear a full-on terror radius out of nowhere, you’d know the add-on was in play. Now it is a surprise when you see a pallet destroyed by Feral Frenzy. But go on.

@Tryharder said:
This game is too poorly optimized to force killer to suffer a self stun for missing a basic m1 attack, people who are overly invested in this game have this idea that legion power is a free hit but it really not, I really hope they take away the cooldown from miss frenzy slash.
It’s not just a basic attack, though. It’s their power that can quickly injure, give deep wounds, and locate (among other things) an entire team of survivors - and now even down one.
-
I don’t have answers for you, but I had to chuckle to myself at your name, given you have self-described sight issues (that itself is not funny).

Well, if we could ever get multiple moris for all killers, it could of course stay as an option and remembrance. It would be neat if he had a different mori option with a trap in his bag, like when Twins have Victor unbound or not.

with addons it does. but either way, you can't outrun a nurse even if she isn't hitting half or even 2/3rds of her blinks. she has close to no penatly for messing up, whereas any other killers would either need to reload, wait for cooldown, get stunned by hitting obstacles, hope no pallets or windows are nearby, regain distance, etc... only to get hit by a good DH to a window or pallet. nurse has none of these problems to deal with, besides having a somewhat short cooldown
she's uncontested number one for a reason
Huh? She has blink charging and recharging time, fatigue, further fatigue for attacking, can still be stunned if played perfectly or DS. And the slowest base movement speed.

Here
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/319692/news-matchmaking-tests-results
The last paragraph
"For the future, we’re still hard at work implementing various improvements to the matchmaking system. These include making Survivor ratings team based rather than personal (so dying heroically to save everyone else isn’t as punishing) and improvements to backfilling lobbies to prevent players from outside of the acceptable range from being pulled in. These improvements will take longer to implement, but rest assured, work is already underway on them. You can find a full list of changes we’re looking into in our January Developer Update. "
Sorry if I was misunderstood or am misunderstanding, but what does any of that have to do with facecamping?
-
@Hitari said:
i don't think you need base speed if you can already blink through windows, pallets or half of the map with one blink. nurse is also the only killer that gives zero shits about DS since pallets and windows are useless as fk. she's number 1 for a reason. she needs a huge nerf
One blink might get you across one tile... not anywhere near half the map. Exaggerating doesn’t help your case.
I do agree that DS should disable killer powers for five seconds following the stun, but that’s not a Nurse-exclusive problem either.
-
@Hitari said:
Billy and Blight are way harder than Nurse to score ability hits with. nurse just bombards you with a barage of bullsh1t blinks that you can't really dodge as well as any other killer ability
Billy’s chainsaw is the closest thing to Nurse’s skill ceiling. He and Blight move at base speed and have a basic attack if all else fails with their highly mobile powers. Nurse has next to nothing without precise blinks.

Blight is a 4.6m/s killer.
Wraith coming out of cloak gets a speed boost, Spirit’s speed and lunge coming out of phase walking, Hag coming out of a phantasm trap on top of survivors.. yet these Nurse haters about her being able to use exposed perks:

Watch the original Texas chainsaw massacre.
Spoilers... he gets three kills in the shack that he never leaves then one more from a chase and the last gets away.
Leatherface is on exactly on theme, the original TCM is basically a template for a game of DBD.
I appreciate him for that and I hope they never change him.
And if memory serves correctly, he only proxy camped the house and didn’t facecamp the hook. He only hooked one survivor once. And he only used the chainsaw during chase. Once on a wheelchair-bound survivor in the cornfield and the other time on Sally as she ran away. So should we disable his power outside of chase?
Because video game characters and design aren’t always exact replicas of the films, in case that somehow wasn’t clear to you...

The only "counterplay" to Nurse is Iron Will/Lucky Break and respecting BBQ by going in lockers. Your not juking a strong Nurse player at all, doubling back or anything your just downed once she see's you.
Had this match a little over a month ago (sorry, one of the only recent matches against a Nurse I’ve had) in solo queue (at least me) on Temple of Purgation. There is only one Iron Will (not mine), and three Flashbangs (meme perk). I don’t recall using lockers to avoid BBQ during the match. Check out the Nurse’s build and the match results.
Methinks your only counter play theory needs some tweaking.

Not only that, overheat mechanic was added to stop endless revving at hooks, and swivel hooks were added to stop facecamping etc,... these Minecrafters have no idea what it used to be like.
Ah yes, how could we forget! Bubba can no longer indefinitely rev.. in exchange for a faster chainsaw sweep that can still be charged in the same amount of time it takes a survivor to complete the unhook animation. Bubba facecamping was fixed all along!

I don’t think they’ll do anything to Bubba necessarily, but they have specifically said they have been experimenting with systems to steer killers away from literal facecamping. Zone defense is fine but they don’t like how face camping plays out for either side since the optimal strategy when it happens is the other survivors just sit and do gens and (if it’s not Bubba for instance) maybe do a hook trade after 90 seconds or so.
If I had to guess for instance I wouldn’t be surprised if the mechanic they put in place to move Cages around was also kind of a backdoor test to see if it might be a good system for hooks too.
As much as I want something to be done about camping, teleporting survivors to different hooks doesn’t make sense and isn’t the solution. That’s an exclusive power for Pyramid Head designed to bypass hooks altogether, for the benefit of saving time but at the risk of not being able to pressure an area (and not utilize hook-related perks).
Makes more sense to me to streamline that non-mobile killer powers can’t be used too close to a hooked survivor, as we see with Twins, Pyramid Head trails, and Artist crows.

The thread title and sentence say nerf Nurse, but the rest of the post seem to be asking for a nerf to the DC penalty and killer play styles.
Also, says Nurse is OP but doesn’t give any evidence why. And given the rest of the post, we’ll just have to assume because you try to face her as every other killer and DC when she first downs you.

BHVR have said in the past 2 Q&A streams that they are prototyping a solution to face camping. "Although if history repeats itself you will not see it"
The fact it’s persisted into two Q & As is evidence enough. Facecamping Bubba has existed in the game since his release over 4.5 years ago. But yeah, it’s definitely all killer players that are leaving DbD (/s).

Why Hag? I understendcase for buffs for Freddy and Myers, but what changes does old tree lady really need?
Hag is both miserable to play as and against, but mostly against. Explain to me why Twins can’t unbind Victor near a hooked survivor, Pyramid Head trails disappear too close, and Artist can’t launch crows… but Hag can place up to 10 traps in the area? Due to her slow base movement speed and power, she encourages or flat necessitates proxy camping. Her design is not to really chase at all, which most people players would say is the most engaging and fun part of the game.
And don’t get me started on the ‘counterplay’.

Judith's deserves a change just as much as tombstone piece, because any addon where the killer can just remove you from the game without ever having to interact with you is bad design.
I would think Myers players would also not want their Tombstone add-ons to continue to be screwed by survivors hiding in lockers - especially for that terrible Evil Incarnate achievement. Make it so that upon hooking the survivor once and stalking them X amount, you can kill them any time (even from the dying state).
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Why? Myers has the most versatile mix of addons that compliment multiple different playstyles. It also makes him one of the scariest killers to go against since you don't know right away if it's scratched mirror, tombstone, or anything in between. If anything, I wish more killers could "change" their power like Myers can now.
Because since BHVR has gotten more of their act together, there’s a general awareness that busted add-ons for either side aren’t good game design. All survivor iris have been nerfed, and many killer ones nerfed or reworked. Walking up to a survivor who you haven’t seen or interacted with all match, and deleting them from the game with 1% stalk and one touch ‘because add-on’, is an unbalanced, antiquated feature of Myers that needs to go.
He certainly needs help, but at the very least Tombstone Piece needs to be the cost of a rework and/or buff.

Totally disagree even with your definition. If you can't manage to use Blights power appropriately, you are performing worse than when you just use M1 to down survivors. I guess your definition of skill floor is not WASD + M1 right?
Besides that the OP asked for "lowest skill ceiling" which means "least time to master" and that totally doesnt fit to Blight
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2920751#Comment_2920751
Lowest skill ceiling yes, but the question was also about the strongest. Like "how can I start having fun as killer without investing 500 hours" (roughly translated :P )
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2920767#Comment_2920767
yes, but that is exactly one thing that you need to learn to master him and become very deadly.
Agree to disagree then! Even if you somehow only manage to get M1 hits with Blight, you still have his insane mobility + pallet breaking power. The question was strongest killer with lowest skill ceiling. And I honestly don’t think there’s too much to learn about being able to bounce around five to seven times for map mobility, and mobility + lethality in chase.

They are sons of disobedience (Ephesians 2:1-3).

I think this is a great idea! It helps with the grind and being able to utilize the several offerings one must buy to level up. I would just keep it to:
- One slot for a BP offering
- One slot for a map offering or modification (not both)
- One slot for event offerings, when events are active

I think the issue is that, although he is not a baby, baby clothes might be the only size that fits him. 😕

How far will buffs be needed to match voice coms ?, trapper and hag trap info can be given through voice where kindred basekit will not suffice. Then so many other killer abilities that can denied having info through voice comms, a gap I would like to argue will never be meet by buffs as it becomes a wallhacked game. % on gens where to team up to smash that gen. Yes most will not communicate at this level but then we have blight and nurse who’s current powers are justified due to swf. Nerfing in this case will be easier and accurate since solo would only be given a small buff (basekit kindred & BT(not denied by Patrick), while swf still being able to give more info to their teammates.
Agreed. Voice comms is simply a reality of online gaming that will never go away. I don’t think you can, or should, try to balance around it.
Solo queue is in the most miserable state it’s ever been, and kill rates seem to reflect relative balance toward the desired two kill/two escape balance ratio. Survivors got one new meta perk in October, which has already been nerfed twice (as of tomorrow). There’s nothing that can really be buffed or nerfed in their base kit, to my mind. Killers could use a 5% base damage when kicking generators, but outside that not sure how you’d buff or nerf them base kit.
Also, I might have run into your boss:
Who is Suzzy?

No. Let people play with their friends, and don’t nerf, nerf, nerf. Not everything needs a nerf. Sometimes, buffing is the right call. And DbD really isn’t a game that can or should have multiple play modes. The only additional one needed is single player training mode with bots.
