Why? Just punish them and that's all. Make SWF hardest role and not solo. What's the problem
The reason this game has been kept alive this long is because people can play it with their friends as a party game.

I was watching these threads pop up during the night after we made the announcement (it was midnight for me), and it was interesting to see the difference on our social media platforms. Discord and Twitter went into absolute hype mode and I said at the time, the forums will start discussing power & perks before hyping things....glad to see I was right!
Next stage of the forums development cycle is to see people being excited and make sure they know in every single thread that the killer will be nerfed out of PTB and they won't have good perks and BHVR hates killer players, etc etc

i meant to say that 1 licensed killer should have above average anti loop mechanics.
And Pyramid Head and Nemesis have that, with Pyramid Head arguably better than Nemesis in this bracket. Bubba also has anti-loop, just in a different way. None of these killers are "weak" and they all have decent to amazing anti-loop capabilites.
-
You physically cannot stop people from playing with their friends. We've had it before where people would lobby dodge until they found their 4man and we'll have it again.
You can't stop voice comms without installing Spyware, and even then it's far from perfect.
Buff solo. Buff killer. Nerf COH. Everyone wins.
-
Upset is one word.
I don't like it, and I don't do it, and I'll definitely complain to myself or my friends I'm playing with if it happens, but there won't be any post-game antagonisation (unless they start it like "GGEZ killed a 3k hour player ur trash" when I get tunneled at 5 gens using MOM). I'll be kinda annoyed for about 2 minutes then I'll move to a different trial and forget about it.
I don't care that much, it's frustrating but I'll just move on, unless it's this one specific Pig player that's terrorised me for months and I will actively stream snipe to avoid being in his game. If I ever get into a trial with him that I don't dodge in the lobby, there's no point rvenb complaining bc I already know he'll tunnel at 5 gens (I am one of the few blessed enough to be put onto his mori list for... escaping a trial through the hatch vs him, so ๐ )

He does get stunned when she blink next to u and you drop pallet she get stunned.
I think op means when you stun her mid-blink she doesn't get stunned even though survivors get points for it.
I'm fine with it how it is currently, for the record.

Every licensed killer has average or below average anti loop mechanics anyway. At least 1 licensed killer should have it.
Pyramid Head, Nemesis, Bubba

Devs killed the stealth killer idea with Boon Totems so unlucky mate. More anti loop medicine for you. Yummy!
Let's be real, boons aren't the issue, it's literally just COH.

Strength is okay, but fun factor is not. At least for me. I know many love Nemesis and Pinhead but I really dont. Only bought him for perks.
I really like Pyramid head though
I'm glad we're agreed on Dorito Man lol
Out of all of the anti-loop no mobility he seems like the most fun imho but I know not everyone would agree with that

Well I prefer playing freddy somekind of antiloop is necesary on high mmr.Maybe putting wells on loop for bodyblocking lmfao
Some type of anti-loop im fine with, just not when it's all they have (ie slinger Trickster artist etc). Not counting huntress because the lack of range limit means she has a lot more versatility.
-
I'd like to think that I can recognise when I make mistakes and I don't blame the team all the time, but when you have someone using Tier 2 Lightweight and doing nothing but Urban Evasion around the map while you get tunneled through cages by a really angry Pyramid Head who doesn't like the fact you're using MOM, I can't help but feel like the fact gens took a while wasn't entirely my fault.
Also as killer I bash on myself until there's 14 pallets as Speed Limiter Bubba, then I'm happy to get a single kill lmao)

I doubt it will be a antiloop unless she is able to put wells between loops to bodyblock lol
My bet:
Wells around the map.
You can be cursed and when you are cursed she will get benefit like aura reading (maybe with add ons)
If you dont lift the curse you die after certain ammount of time.
So a pig 2.0 basically.
Honestly I'd absolutely take that

@ThanksForDaily said:
She is 100% antiloop killer. Last m1 killer was Ghostface 2,5 yrs ago.
If she is m1 (0% chances) killers will cry all over the forums.
I'd hardly say Blight is an M1 killer, yet he doesn't fit the no mobility category and when they're not using the basic ######### build (ie. Ruin Undying Tinkerer PGTW w/ Alch Ring + Blighted Crow every single match) and exploiting they're actually incredibly fun to face
-
@Gwinty said:
I do not see the problem with "anti-looping". That term is just as funny to me as "gen-rushing". What is bad with a Killer who is just good at the thing Killers are supposed to be good at - chasing survivors? Also most Killers who are labled "anti-loop" are more like "loops different". Think about Pyramide Head right now: After they removed his ability to cancel his power into an M1 attack you can now abuse his slow turning rate and recovery time to loop him. Sure if you just vault windows he will down you but you are supposed to loop in a different way.
Same with Artists. You can no longer just abuse the hell out of 1 tile and need to keep track of her birds. Her slowdown is a pretty good tell. You need to chain two tiles together to "loop" her (more like "8-her"). As such I am not bothered with this new Killer.
Also she is not a problem for Spirit. Spirit is more like the Ghost from "The Grudge" and not from this series.
I still hope for a Killer with a side objective and a teleportation / hallucination / timer power. Something like: Inflict survivors with a status and then they have a timer that ticks once outside her terror radius. Once the timer is full without them doing side-objective x they get exposed and you can teleport to them. Stepping inside your terror radius will stop the timer. Just a quick idea, nothing serious...
The term anti-loop comes from their ability to counter looping, and in turn they then have very little ability to patrol the map. This leads to boring, short games as survivors have free reign over generators, and nobody is happy.
Considering the previous years worth of killers have followed this Motto, and some before that too, it's getting very ######### boring and I really want something to switch up the game because there hasn't been anything new to me since Blight, over a year ago.
Also you're very wrong about PH lmao he's absolutely incredibly strong regardless of the insta-cancel being gone.
And your idea? Perfect. Hypermobile, forces survivors to do other things, probably needs a bit more fine tuning but also isn't the same boring ######### we've had for the past year.

Because the super mobile killers that already exist have bad 1v1...?
No, but also I doubt they'd be interested in making a killer as complained about as Nurse or Spirit
-
@C3Tooth said:
I hope every new Killer will be similar to Pinhead. Weak in 1v1 but has build in slow down.
Instead of built in solo-stomping I'd rather we have someone who is hyper hyper mobile for an absolutely fantastic 1v4 and then a piss poor 1v1

I'm guessing a debuff/mobility killer, upon further thought.
Imagine if she was pure mobility and just chased like a 115 killer. Like super hypermobile better than Hag/Nurse/Spirit/Blight with mobility.

wdym ranged killers with no mobility or map pressure are super fun and unique additions to the game, we all know killers like nemesis, pyramid head and deathslinger are community favorites

Pyramid Head was fine imo. He was a good addition in terms of balance (not fun), strong but not overbearing. Definitely not biased here
Everyone else we've had after him has just been duller and duller.

I knew about Nemesis and thought about all the cool things with him and yet he was reduced to anti loop no mobility

Mid chapter will happen in mid-Jan, +1.5 months to get to March

What powers does she have in the movies? I think she isn't a running type like the Blight, she seems like another teleporting killer.
She teleports places, calls people and tells them they have 7 days before they're dead, makes them hallucinate #########, before then
Yeah
I'm hoping it'll be a case of micromanaging different survivors from achieving secondary objectives, and if they don't achieve these objectives survivors cannot progress the game until they do (think active RBTs but they're actually threatening), something like a Death Timer that constantly ticks down unless you purify yourself with Rosemary
I've never seen the film or read the book.

The problem is probably that a missed/dead-harded jump will send Victor careening off towards the sunset, usually allowing him to survive due to his cooldown being shorter than the time it takes survivors to run up to him.
This doesn't happen with a validated DH, though, dropping Victor right at the kickers. It's another 'false positive' issue, like Nemmy's tentacle not shattering a pallet if he gets a false positive on a DHing survivor.
Okay yeah no that makes sense, thanks for clarifying

You can also kick Victor if he misses, or if Dead Hard works correctly without validation kicking in. Like yeah that's what always happened, just with far less consistency than now, what's your point? Like it's the same cooldown and everything
