OP do you not literally have another thread already open on this exact topic?
-
oh man these comments are glorious

A nerf to COH would be her biggest possible buff without massively overtuning her kit

My personal experience strongly disagrees with you and would say they're much more necessary on survivor
"Oh wow, he's camping"
"Oh wow, he's tunneling"
These thoughts are much more prevalent while I play than "oh wow, I'm being genrushed"
Inb4 the "then you're not high MMR!" h
Honestly that's valid, it's probably because I play a lot more killer so my mmr is naturally higher than on the survivor side :/
I'm sure that objectively they're practically necessary on both sides, just the op was asking for individual opinions and I am hot garbage at survivor lmfao

a ban for one game? Not even cheating, just being silly?
I mean yes, it's stupid, but ban? c'mon...
It is against the in game rules and thus the EULA so, yes.

That would be a buff for all killers.
absolutely but it'll be a buff to sadako/wraith/ghostface etc substantially more than to blight/nurse/spirit
-
Boring but sadly necessary to compete with other meta perks in the mmr hellhole
More necessary on killer

Her biggest buff will be a nerf to COH.

Im less worried about that, and more worried the fact that the writing itself seems like it's from 6th graders. I get it, they're from Quebec or whatever, but they have more than enough cash to hire better writers and time voice actors.
In it it also goes into the 2 writer theory and why some are really well written and some are... Not

No but I kinda have to learn how to for AO3 marks in my college subjects ✨

make crouching realistic, which in turn makes tbagging harder and pettier
I'm gonna be honest in the video game about an evil spider Entity who keeps people alive in an eternal game of death and rebirth, where people can survive a chainsaw to the back and are healed with magic healing rubs, realism isn't a great concern
-
I'm ngl I run into the issue of no hooks a lot less than I run into being robbed of sacrifice points bc some salty ######### decides to dc on first down and ruin the match for everyone, but I absolutely wouldn't complain to actually improving the hook spawns (especially on maps like Lerys, Game, Midwich, RPD, and Eyerie).

It isn't buff more like fixing an error where she gets fatigued when she shouldn't be as she didn't miss the survivor just pressed a 1 second damage immunity button.
so she shouldn't get extra fatigue for lunging even though her fatigue time is always the same based on how much you blinked + if you lunged or not?

On Stadia, I notice that I miss 10-20% more of my hits than I do on Steam, but it's not too bad unless I'm playing with a ######### Bluetooth controller. There's a split-second of input lag, and some killers (Nemesis especially, due to his tentacle's tiny hitbox) are much harder to play, probably also due to my using a controller.
However, I'll shill DBD for Stadia until the day I die, even after I can play the game without a pesky Windows partition installed, for one reason: it's the definitive way to play DBD on mobile. If you have a controller for your phone, it's a hundred times more usable than the official DBD mobile game, and it has cross-progression with Steam.
Sorry. Five cups of coffee.
Yeah, please feel free, if it's not too much trouble.

I feel like a lot of these posts are being written by people who don't play M1 killers. That's sort of the point of playing one; you are going to be running around from godpallet to godpallet, mindgaming when you can and kicking wood until there isn't any left. I get that some people don't find that fun (and sometimes it really isn't), but it's viable.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2857581#Comment_2857581
I just played a team where every single survivor had BT, DH, and DS. Didn't stop me from tunneling three of them to death.
Luckily, yeah, one of those three was really, exceptionally bad, and one of others apparently seemed to think he was an awesome looper, but he was not, so he went next. The third one was just okay, and I figured out pretty quickly that the Jill in the group actually knew how to play the game, so I avoided her until the end of the game, and she got out alive.
They were mad in the EGC, too. Their self-righteousness might have felt more justified if they weren't all running the best meta perks in the game and using them nonstop.
I come across teams like that fairly often, but they're rarely all excellent players. I don't know whether that's because I'm not in high enough SBMM yet or just that more SWFs than not are carried by one or two good survivors, but even with 3-5 health states each, I can manage if I'm on my game. The best teams will just have all the gens done within five minutes if the gods don't intervene on your behalf, but those are rare.
Like I said, though, I don't use Ghostie's instadown ability unless I have addons that can knock a couple seconds off of his stalk time (and then only usually when I have a daily), and I was still doing better, but I think I was just having rough luck. Last few games have been leisurely.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2857582#Comment_2857582
I tried to do more hit and running today in one of my games. I felt like I was playing well (got plenty of hooks), but only ended up with 1K.
I like to play for kills, so I don't know. I was satisfied with myself after the game ended even though it was an objective loss, because I felt like I played well even though I didn't win... but I didn't win.
I think I tried Brine/Pop/Dragon's/Eruption for that game, and it works fine. I've since replaced Eruption with Nurse's, and that always seems to get me an extra down or two if I remember to turn my terror radius off. I get a lot more out of Dragon's than I seem to with any other killer.
Okay!! I thought I had more games saved than I actually do, and in this one there's a FNAF Security Breach retrospective playing in the background, so I can understand if you don't want to watch it with sound on or something. Also, these survivors weren't the greatest (please do not send any hate their way, this is not meant as a naming + shaming attempt mod, just a full disclosure that they weren't a full deathsquad before someone accuses me of saying she's better than she is because you don't face good survivors blah blah etc). I had this game saved due to the pretty funny endgame chat which I've cut out.
Anyway, yeah, here's the one game of Sadako I had saved:

errr thats seems 50/50, because it seems that a handful of nurse mains knows how to exploit the fatigue-pallet stun cancel using the right add ons. okay
It's not related to addons, it's a basekit feature
At least if we're on about the same thing, it's difficult to tell without video

He's a great example of a counter to the shift w gamers, but the issue is that he gets looped hard, and the only reason people should shift w is if they can't loop you. So you'll do great until you face someone who's played this game from 2019 or earlier when looping was actually relevant

what happened is i stunned her on while charging blink, then fatigue canceled the stun because of add ons(thats what i assumed what happend due to her fatigue cooldown add ons. What i think is unfair because i had a handful of these situations, and whatever it is, her fatigue and stun should stack, because it seems exploitable because i think the killers knows about this fatigue-pallet stun cancel.

she didnt have enduring thats why im asking bout this fatigue-pallet stun cancel animation
"her fatigue and stun should stack"
Fun fact! This used to happen, but was confirmed as a bug and removed when The Nurse received her full kit rework back in 5.5.0 ✨

Well I should say he adopted me. I luffs him <3
I'm glad you've got a pet that makes you happy ❤️❤️

Not here. I got into dbd because my friend told me to play it with her + her bf lol, though out of the three characters I'd say I main(ed), which were Freddy, then Pyramid Head, and now Sadako is vibing beneath Pyramid as a secondary main, they have all been licenced characters.
And I have never seen ANOES, Ringu, not played Silent Hill 2.
Though on the survive side, Claudette Morel and David King supremacy.

Sorry, wrong number, has i said i dont know that much about technicall things, i have 304,34 GB left, according to steam
If you're on Windows 10, you should be able to search for "System Information" and find an app which, when opened, looks something like this:
(blurred very sensitive data)
What they're referring to is this section here:
I have 32GB of RAM installed on my PC- which is basically where programs go when they're being used so you've got much faster access to them than having to load everything from storage, particularly if you're using a hard disc drive). DBD has a minimum requirement of 8GB of RAM, though more is probably needed at this stage, and if you have any other apps open when you have barely enough RAM (or, say, you have 128GB of RAM but you decide to open 3 different Chrome tabs) it can badly eat into frames due to it loading from Virtual Memory which, without getting technical, just means it is very slow.
If you have 8GB or RAM or less, this could be the issue.
-
We are constantly updating and improving Totem spawns to make them better hidden, paritcularly on newer maps, or those that have been recently reworked, btw.
-
Claudette and David, both icons:
Also Freddy
I think that's all of my 3rd year cakes (Claudette pisses me off because the 4th year cake isn't a mutliple of 5).

Devs never nerf survivor after boon chapter.
Well I went through the patch notes for every patch after 5.3.0 (so 5.3.1 and beyond), and here are all the nerfs to survivor I found (no, bugfixes are not being classed as nerfs or buffs):
- Circle of Healing (heal speed bonus from 90/95/100 to 65/70/75) - patch 5.5.0
- Boil Over (changed from a flat 25% to 33% current wiggle progress) - patch 5.5.2
- Parental Guidance (changed from 8/9/10 seconds to 5/6/7 seconds) - patch 5.6.0
So in 4.5 months we've seen 3 survivor nerfs (as well as, you know, DMS suddenly becoming meta and Blight getting another cracked add-on), and while I agree 2 of them were desperately needed and COH needs further hits, to say that they have never nerfed survivor after that is just disingenuious.

It works best with vault speed builds. If you have Dark Theory running near Shack/Main Building/Certain Jungle Gyms then you’re basically uncatchable till Bloodlust III or they snuff it, which gives you more distance anyway.

Thank you! I will definitely check it out. I never used shadowborn before. Does it really make that much of a difference?
It can be helpful and the FOV makes a difference, but primarily it's used to help those with motion sickness because there's no FOV slider in the game. It's not major but it's noticeable enough that when you take it off you really feel it.
