Why sloppy. You have an inbuilt exposure perk. I guess it's a good fall back.
I would suggest.
Haunted grounds. Iron Maiden. Devour Hope. Make your choice.
Make them fear the exposure. Make them one with the exposure. Make them fear your strike.
Or like. Totally meme it up. I dunno.
Sloppy is a common perk on a ghostface, for a number of different builds. Since you will not always be in a good position to stalk a survivor before stabbing them. Sometimes you have to just get in close and take that easy hit. Since that is one of the things you have to learn while playing ghostface, know when to stalk and when to just go in for the stab. That and how to 99% your stalk, to have it go off when you need it. That and there is always corn maps of course, which can heavily screw over the ability to stalk. Which sloppy does slow down healing and help to make the survivors waste more time healing up. Allowing ghostface to do his thing, stalk or sneak up on someone for another stab. That and ghostface with out add on has 30 second cool down for their ability. It only takes 1.5 seconds of a survivor staring at you to break you out of your power.

You don't need healing, if you bring no mither. :P

When it comes to perks. Plague has two very useful ones, Corrupt and Fright. Corrupt intervention can be useful on a fair number of killers who need some set up time like trapper or for certain builds, like fungoose no add on ghostface build. Fright pair up with monitor and abuse on say a Oni, is a jolly good old time. Fright can also be useful on Myers, since he can one shot, which can help him to snowball in tier 3. Dark devotion is a fun perk to run, if you like scaring people.
Pig can sneak around while crouch, has a dash attack which can be useful for mind games or at certain loops. Their bear traps are rng. The survivor might get one off first try or have to run around the whole map to get one off. Surveillance is a perk that can combo well with others. Surge, ruin, ect. Which can help you keep track of gens and know if they are being work on or not. Make your choice, it can be useful if you are able to find the person who unhooked their fellow survivor, with in the time limit. If you run into survivors time and time again, who save someone and than fade away like a ghost for the next 40 to 60 seconds, might not be the most helpful for you.
Legion the 28 stab wound killer. Mad grit is fun for the memes. Iron maiden is the anti dwight perk. Rip Dwights and their lockers. Discordance is useful for a number of different builds, since it can tell you if two people are on a gen. Which can be very useful. Legion power is you go fast like a edgy sonic and stab someone, which than triggers the ability to know where others are with in your terror radius. If you miss with an attack while in your power, you lose the whole power and get stun for a few seconds.
DeathSlinger, he has a gun and shoots people, than reels them in like a fisher man. Others have already detail his perks. So there you go.
Do you wanna be batman who stalks from tall buildings before leaping down shadow of mordor style for the finishing blow, make gags about your character secretly being a evil Danny Phantom? Do you wanna sneak up on survivors, lean from corners and than take them down in one careful plan shot or 99% them for later. Do you wanna make gags or jokes like, i ain't afraid of no ghost. Than ghostface is for you. His perks are i'm all ears. Which can help you to become god and know every thing a survivor will do for 6 seconds, when they fast vault a window or pallet. Making you seem like the king of games, mind games that is, not life or death shadow realm card games. Thrilling tremors, which can be useful for a lot of killers, freddy, spirit, ect. It can help you get an idea of which gens are being worked on and which gens are not. Can be very useful having an idea of where to go. Furtive chase, well i think if you are going for a obsession build, Nemesis from Oni would be the better choice.
Of course if you are going to get anyone. I would wait until the new dlc comes out. Since they might have a sale on the characters you are interested in. So you might be able to pick up more of them or save some cells.

Actually Dead Dawg Saloon is arguably one of the more balanced maps in the game imo.
The Saloon can be a strong loop if the Killer hasn't bothered to spend time breaking down the walls, and the side areas are pretty interesting loop locations that aren't just deadzones which is basically what most of the middle map is. It's a dirt road with not much in it, so it's more or less a dead zone, meaning generators that spawn on the road should be top priority.
Had alot of good games on the saloon. Both as survivor and killer.
In game, don't think i have ever come across someone who when and gone, bloody heck, not this map again. Dislike for corn maps, the game or other maps yes. Even seen a fair few offerings for that map to be used. Only people i have ever seen dislike or take issue with the saloon, have been on these forums here. When it comes to the saloon, hand me that map any day of the week and i will have a blast on it.

No seriously, this is from my recent past 10 GAMES.

Got to love this game sometimes. Boy i sure hope i don't go to x map today. Chances of going to that bloody map go up by 50% or more.

There are two different types of slugging you failed to separate.
The first is when you slug for pressure. This is fine, and is a great slow down tool killers have.
The second is to slug, just to let them bleed out. I consider this toxic, and have suggested a 'suicide' option in the past. If you're at half of the bleed out timer or less, you can simply give up and die, moving on to another match.
Yeah the most common type of slugging would be the first. Leave you down, due to seeing someone else nearby or to chase off someone with a flashlight or who could possibly drop a pallet on them, before picking you up. Which would just be common bloody sense. That or in the case of Oni, well getting two people down, is better than one and your power is limited, so well. Two is better than one.
Yeah the second one is a totally different thing, if done willingly. Since sometimes there is the sound bug that happens, where a survivor makes no noise while on the ground or crawls off some where and the killer has no idea where the heck they when. So they end up dying on the ground, while the killer is busy searching for them or only finds them after they almost bled out. Which is funny enough the case with the video below and the last survivor.

@Ghostwithaface Scott Jund's stuff is great, but this is a really advanced guide for someone who I assume is just starting out.
True, they might not need it right away. Since some survivors will just run forward and hold w and drop pallets as soon as they get to one. Yet with how lovely the matchmaking can be at times. Well might still be useful to have on hand, in case they run into any loops that give them trouble.

Yeesh, that's unlucky. I've had 1 survivor turn out that way, think it was Quentin.
At this point I've got 1 survivor left to level to 40+, and only 1 killer to 40. Trying to be as optimal as possible so I can get at least 1 survivor and 1 killer maxed out before I think of doing it to any others. That's taken me 324 hours.
It's like... I'm not mad about the grind, but there are ways BHVR could shorten it a bit. Removing tiers. Upping survivor gains some how. Making "We're Gonna Live Forever" a little more worth wild to take. So on and so forth. It's gonna be a good while before I have that Prestige 3 survivor with all the perks, and even longer for killer. The only reason I put killer off for so long was so I could have at least one half of the game completely unlocked.
Funny you bring up we're gonna live forever. They are going to add a secondary effect to that soon. What sort of secondary effect? No idea. Yet it will get one soon.

That was my Myers game last night. The survivor team was feeling SUPER confident til that T3 popped with infectious fright and the game came to a sudden end, lol.
Reminds me of a match i had as Myers once. Got a tier three during end game. Stab two survivors. Hook them and while all of this was happening. the other two remaining survivors, were scary so much out of their minds, they escape asap, leaving their team mates behind.
That and one ghostface game i had, where i ended up 99% two survivors during late game. Ran into them again later, they when down like flies. One by one. The last survivor left alive, they fled for their lives and escaped asap. A great last minute come back is always fun.

Ghostfaces reveal mechanic is horrible, you can be looking directly at him and nothing happens or you could reveal him when hes already behind walls
It gets better. A survivor's own character model, can stop them from revealing ghostface. So if you happen to be playing dwight and Dwight's character model is blocking the view of ghostface right in front of you. Yep your own character model stops you from revealing ghostface.

This argues my point (and @Huff's earlier point) really well. Because DBD's survivors are sort of a "tenuous team" at best, the guy who suicides on the hook is acting selfishly, because they have no obligation to their team and no reason to care what their forced hook death does to the match. Which is why it's stupid to give them that option in any way, without penalty.
Yeah when it happens, as a survivor. I go yeah we are doom, unless the killer plays nice. While as killer, i seen it happen as Myer on a farm map. A farm map as Myers. Someone killed themselves on hook, on one of the weakest maps for Myers. I hook the first person i down and start walking away and bang, they kill themselves for some reason. When that happens, i tend to just play around with the remaining survivors, to help give them some points and get my bbq stacks of course. For it hard to treat it as a proper match, when someone killed themselves for seeming no reason so early on.
Which it being made easier to black pip or giving the others more bonus points for when it happens, would be nice.

Used to run those and M and A on Myers, was very strong.
Myers always a fun killer to play. Which does remind me of the time i seen survivors being totally unaware i'm right bloody next to them. Healing up, totally unaware i was standing a few metre away from them. Only for their brains to kick in and go oh no and start to panic. One of the funniest moments i have ever had in game.

Oh my god, people self care against a BLOODY LEGION it legit gave me so much rage lol, that I told my next team specifically NOT TO. Also, why do people cleanse against Plague? Just take the downs when she uses her free one and don't cleanse after lol. Otherwise she becomes an OP and completely unloopable. I end up paying for their errors too.
If you ever want to see just how interesting certain survivors can be. Slap on sloppy, nurse calling, two other perks of your choice. Than play as a sneaky killer. You will get to see all sorts of fun things, like the same survivor running over to the same corner each and every time, to self care under the effects of sloppy.
That and yeah solo survivor which i do all the time, yeah it can sometimes be interesting or match making screws up and you find out. OH yeah, all of your team mates are rank 20, no wonder they were acting odd as heck. That or the killer is rank 20, no wonder this was a super easy game. That and oh hey playing killer, at least i can get more than 5k blood points, if everyone starts killing themselves on hook or just giving up five seconds into the match. Even if the game goes poorly for me.
@LordGlint said:
I play killer because I'm good at it. I can swap from 1 killer to the next each match to give myself some variety, or just swap addons/builds on a killer to drastically change gameplay.
Yeah sometimes it fun to switch it up. Which due to killers working in different ways. Well hehe. Nothing like playing trapper every once in awhile and than watching everything come together as you begin to snow ball as survivor after survivor falls into your trap and you have fast recovery time, thanks to save the best for last.

I like your name.
Ya, there's been times where I'll be like in a situation where I'm at an exit gate with a daily ritual to escape with my survivor I'm playing, while my two team mates are being hooked all the way across the map and the killer is a Billy with NoED. Then I leave, and get one of my team mates telling me "######### u huff" as if I could/should have done anything.
Even if the Billy didn't have noed. It's still a Billy. One shots and speed. That is a scary thing to face. Even if Noed was not in play, it seems like it might of still been the smart call to get the heck out of dodge. Since well half way across the map and you are near a exit gate. Odds are if you when for them. You might of died and granted the killer another kill. That and any odds of finding noed before going for the save, have gone down greatly, just due to having half your team being hooked. So yeah, seems like the smart call was to get out of dodge and escape.

Sorry dude, at that point, you're SOL and I'm gettin the F out of here :D
Yeah if noed is up, the killer is chasing you and the person on hook is across the map. Yeah that is get out while you are ahead sort of position. Yeah some survivors need to learn, that saving them is not always possible and sometimes settling for a three man escape is better than 2 man escape. Since hey, if leaving me for dead will ensure a three man escape. Go ahead and do it. I would rather the others escape and get blood points, than have them all die just to save me. For while a 4 man escape is nice, it's not always possible.

Yeah this Ghostface just rebooked the Meg. She was on death hook. So not only was this killer giving her a miserable time, another survivor was as well, AND this Ghostface basically just ensured that this Steve will keep doing this kind of crappy thing in future games.
Yeah, that does sound like the perfect case of how a unsafe hook basically just screws over the person on the hook and not really the saver.
For well, the hooked person doesn't really have much say in the matter. It's more like praying your team mates have borrow time, are willing to at least take a protection hit or are smart. Honestly this is the reason i personally like running borrow time while playing survivor. To help ensure my team makes it out. One build i like to run on survivor, is iron will, gotta go fast perk aka sprint burst, borrow time and botany knowledge. That way i can help buy more time for my team by ensuring chases last just a tiny bit longer. Iron will to not give away our position so easily while injured. Borrow time for the saves and botany to help heal them up quick. For hey, these other three random strangers. Well they are my team mates and i will do everything to the best of my ability to aid them and hopefully escape.
It just a real shame that some people just don't care or are perfectly fine with screwing over their team mates for no real reason.
-
@Rydog said:
It's likely because they're farming BP or trying to complete a daily (and have no patience).
It's been awhile since i got the daily for unhooks as x character. I believe they had to be safe unhooks. So yeah their lack of patience or not bringing borrow time, might be screwing them over there and not just their team mates.

When I try to punish those people, they end up getting unhooked themselves and then have DS or BT applied to them, because other survivors didn't see the farming.
Yeah sometimes survivors lack information as to what happen.
@[Deleted User] said:
Because there are a lot of jerks that play this game that do not care how frustrating or miserable they make the game for other players.
I only watched this last night on Haddonfield where a Steve ran in to unhook a meg the second Ghostface put her on the hook. He didn’t even have borrowed time.
I messaged the Steve asking why. He said he didn’t care he was just farming. It also annoyed me that this Ghostface didn’t punish Steve for this. Now that player will continue to unsafe save because there aren’t consequences.
I am guessing the killer down you and then hook you again? Yeah that sounds like not the best choice there. Since ideally the killer would of wanted to slug you and than go after the Steve and down him. To get three people off the gens. Since a team mate would hopefully come and heal you up, while the killer is after the Steve.

So then let's say that of the 4 survivors, one is really good and experienced. BY CHANCE you find one of the other 3 survivors first (high chance BTW) and catch them quickly. The other two foolishly rush in to save and they all end up trading hooks. Meanwhile, the 4th skilled survivor is doing what they should be doing, gens, and then when you find them after the other 3 are dead they run you for 5 minutes (let's just assume hatch doesn't exist). Did you really win?
No you got lucky that you didn't run into this survivor first. If you did, then several of them would have likely escaped as they would have finished several gens during that chase. Furthermore, it's stupid to punish the good survivor for having bad survivors in their group. They can't control that.
If you got a 3k you got a 3k. Period. You didn't get a 4k for getting a 3k. You should have to earn each and every kill.
I am not even sure why you reply to me. I never said you didn't have to earn your kills. Which maybe you were just confuse about the key thing. Which happens from time to time, that a key is found, allowing two or more survivors to escape by hatch, due to finding a key from a chest while in the match. Which on survivors part would be a smart thing to do, since it allows them to escape and not die aka get their objective done.
That and in the case you brought up, only a single survivor is good at the game. In your case, the killer has all the time in the world and if the other players are truly awful and did nothing but trade hooks all game. It sounds like there might still be a fair number of pallets left, the one remaining survivor can use. That and chase points exist for the killer, if they have all the time in the world to chase their target, they could be doing it for points, if the game ended so quickly.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWEs9qKq6WAHere is a match ozt ended in a few minutes. He got under 20k points for it. Also here another ozt video, where the games show in both were so one sided. That the second one with legion, he was going to give the last person the hatch but wanted to train his chasing ability a bit before ending the match.
https://youtu.be/x2wTRfWzz1Y?t=458That and if the killer ran into this survivor first, so the killer has to lack self awareness or the ability to figure out, yeah this person is wasting to much of my time, i am going to go drop chase and try to find a easier target. One of the most common killer tips and advice given, is don't commit to chases to long and try to end them quickly. If someone is wasting to much of your time, drop the chase and find a easier target. It's advice fungoose gives out all the time. Which in the cases you give out, the killer is smart enough to use bad survivor plays against but is also at the same time, dumb enough to over commit to a chase against a single survivor. What is the skill level of this killer, for it seems very confusing that one minute they have a brain with the ability to figure out very simple things aka using the survivors misplays against them and than the next minute, they lose all ability to figure out simple things. Simply due to finding the only good survivor first. Like the skill level of this killer seems to lack consistency.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTKXsnoLbb0Which ok you got a 3k you got a 3k. You got a 4k you got a 4k. What is your point here my dude? You still won, be it a 3k or a 4k. It still a win if we go by the standards set by the devs.
-
Hmm one bad perk. That easy. Furtive chase. Now i would change reduce terror radius from while in chase, to while not in chase. Keep the way the obsession changes the same. That and remove the obsession needs to be alive to maintain it's effects or if that to powerful, make it so you only lose 2 or half tokens rather than all of them, when the obsession dies. So even if the obsession dies, you can still get some benefit out of it, with all the work you had to put into gaining it's effect.

100% Agreed. It is needed for this challenge. Since hey maybe what i was doing was working and i almost got it, maybe what i was doing was a awful bloody idea. No clue, for i have no feed back on this Dwight challenge. Which is simply what make this challenge the most annoying. Since the other challenges like huntress hatches and 28 stab wound legion challenge, are a bit easier to keep track of. but would still be nice to know if you got it done or not while in a match and not after. While the Dwight challenge, it would not be so bad, if you didn't have to get it done during a single match. Yet since you do, it what really makes it a pain, due to the massive lack of feed back, on what you are doing right or wrong.

Yeah, I wish there were some just straight-up freebies. I know there are a lot of "How about EARNING YOUR FUN" gatekeepers who like to shut these ideas down, but this is a video game and there should not be a bunch of easily avoidable roadblocks to some basic enjoyment.
It would make a world of difference if, after I introduce a friend to the game, and they play a couple of matches and go OMG HOW DO YOU SUCCEED THIS SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE AND FRUSTRATING, I can go "OK, so there's a bunch of stuff you can play to unlock to improve your chances BUTTTTTTTTTTT right this minute as a newbie you should go into your inventory and look through these 50 perks you have right now, and equip Bond, Kindred, Sprint Burst, and Alert, and these will help you see what's going on and get some immediate understanding of the game dynamic, it should be enough to help you out in the beginning."
(Also, those are just some newbie-friendly "see what's going on" perks that I threw in off the top of my head, not trying to turn this into a perk choice discussion lol)
The funny thing about having to earn your fun point of view is. Well if you unlock a perk as a teachable, you already did earn it. By having to spend a fair few blood points as well. Depending on which perk you unlock as a teachable. You might of already spend at least a million or more blood points to unlock it. Which would be a fair few games, even if you always play with bbq or we're gonna live forever. So simply letting each character you own, have level one of a perk you unlocked as a teachable. Would simply allow one to try out different builds easier, like on a brand new character they just unlock or brought.
-
If you want blood points and don't mind unlocking a weaker killer. Leatherface. Bbq is amazing for earning them blood points. There are even certain builds used by other killers that make use of the perk, for information tracking and not just blood points, so it can be a double win.
Myers, has so many different ways to play him. Jumpscare, endless tier three, tombstone and more. So you honesty can't go wrong with Myers. That and play with your food and save the best for last can be fun perks to play around with, on a number of different killers. Which Myers starts in tier one, you move at 105% movement speed, have a shorter lunge attack range and need to get into tier 2, to become a normal killer. Which if you slap monitor and abuse on Myers, your terror radius will be so small. You can still easily sneak up on people, even in tier 2. Tier three one shot city, which just like ghostface, you can hold it at 99% and then unleash true terror when the moment is right.
Pig's sneaky ability works in a interesting way, from what i recall it takes a few seconds before your terror radius goes away while crouching but the same is true while coming out of crouch. Pigs head traps are rng base. They can a slow down the game a fair bit or do jack as the survivor gets it off first try. Surveillance is a perk that can combine with a number of other perks very well like surge. They have a dash attack which can be useful at certain loops or for the mind games.
Danny Phantom, i means Jame i mean ghostface, oh wait The Ghost Face, copy right bro. Well do you like sneaking around? Do you like one shots? Do you like sneaking up on people and scaring them half to death? Do you like having the ability to choose between a no stalk style of play and stalking type of gameplay? Than ghostface is right up your alley. Ghostface Crouch can be used in a number of ways, if a wall is big enough, you can crouch and use it to mind game someone, for they can't see you coming. Can crouch and than quickly uncrouch while in a chase, to try and trick a survivor into thinking you are going in for a lunge attack, to bait them into using their dead hard. I'm all ears can be a fun perk to play around with. Allowing you to know what a survivor is going to do, when ever they fast vault a pallet or window for a few seconds. Thrilling tremors, can be a good for information tracking, for it helps you to know which gens are being worked on and which gens are not being worked on.
-
If you got three kills [going with the idea that is the case and not randomly finding a key out of a chest and escaping by hatch that way], i think it's safe to say you won the game. Since three kills or four, outside of points, it doesn't matter. You are the victor. That and any points you might of not gain from killing the fourth person, can easily be made up by getting into another game sooner, rather than later.
-
I would wait until the new dlc comes out before spending any cash, just in case there is a sale. Yet if you are talking killers. Well Deathslinger, no idea how strong or weak they would be.
Oni on the other hand, is a very solid killer. If you like playing Billy, odds are you will enjoy Oni. Oni is also a older killer, so you can find a fair few helpful guides to help learn the killer, like so. Many would rank Oni as a rather powerful killer, some would say a weaker billy. So if you are looking for a powerful killer to play, you can't go wrong with Oni or if you have a need for speed.

Yeah, I went through a little over 600k BP when showing them the web. They saw where that got me, looked at how many survivors and killers have wanted Teachable perks, considered the bloodweb RNG on top of that, and basically said: Are they effing nuts? We already work for a living.
Grinding for cosmetics and stuff, they get. Grinding on top of RNG just to get character builds to be able to play with variety is asinine.
Which is why reducing the grind or simply being able to have say a higher chance than normal to get one perk you want per blood web, would help alot. If you want to go for a certain build, without hoping rng is on your side and doesn't screw you over, just so you could maybe get pop. Since the rng can be rather bad at times. Prestige 3 ghostface, been ten plus blood webs since i last seen a chewed pen.
Which there have been alot of good ideas of how to reduce the grind or make it less rng. Some ideas in this thread, of every survivor/killer has level one of the perk you unlock as a teachable. Which i forgot who brought that idea up but i like it alot. It would allow someone to use the build they like, when say they prestige a character while also cutting down the grind by one/third in general.

A sneaky killer like ghostface might be ideal for this challenge. Certain maps might be more idea for this, like the game, lery's i recall often will have a few gen spawns, that you have more than way one to sneak up on a survivor working on a gen. Any map with gen spawns that are close to a door or other entrance point, that allows you to get up close to the survivor before they have much time to react.
-
The worst part about this challenge is, i have no idea how if i'm with in 10 metres or not of the killer. That and there is no way of knowing how far away or how close you are to getting the challenge done. All you know is a you failed or b you were successful. Nothing inbetween.

Anytime a ghostbuster has a flashlight equip, it must be reskin to look like a proton pack. If anyone crosses the steam, two flash lights blinding the killer at once, everyone is blind for a few seconds.
Yet the true question is, will ghost traps work on Spirit?

Well if you are not using any add ons. This build might be what you are looking for. It helps to give you knowledge on which gens are being work on, blocks off a few gens early on, making it so you can get that key hook or two before a gen pops. Along with gen slow down through pop and finally sloppy, for that consistency in helping to slow down the game by making healing take longer.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KH4DhskSbz4If you are looking for more ghostface tips and build advice, this video might be helpful as well, to give you an idea what perks work well with ghosty boy. Like knowing when to stalk and when not to stalk. That sometimes it better to go in for a hit, rather than stalk. That and how whispers can be useful for finding survivors.

I just finished getting him to P3 and have 24 beach flasks saved 😊
Good good. Soon it will be the age of the clown.

Now i am wondering how many will start playing clown, to get use to him before the buff.

Less blood points? No thank you, the grind is already "fun" enough as it is. If you didn't mean that, did you mean less points to rank up? I am confuse there. That and i'm not sure how simply buffing killers will make them more scary. When what can scare one person, might not scare another. Since some people find five night's at Freddy scary as heck and others don't. So making killers more scary might be a bit hard to do. Since you don't have to be something super powerful to be scary, since some people are scare as heck by something as common as spiders.

Save the best for last. Legion is not the only killer that can perform the 28 stab wound meme anymore. :P
Killer with alot of stacks with save the best for last: Your already dead.
Survivors reaction when they figure it out: Nani?
In all seriousness, it's a fun and amazing perk to play around with on many killers.

I just dislike it because of how often I keep getting it.
I want something different, darn it.
I once had corn map after corn map after corn map, one day while playing as killer. Which killer was i playing? Ghostface.
I understand your pain and suffering.

Only issue I can see with this is that it'd be the death of certain gimmick builds. Trying to do Jumpscare Myers and getting one of the many big, open maps instead of an indoor map basically ruins the whole build.
Right now, I'd say that it'd be a good change to remove them. But ideally, we could just have more balanced maps and buffs for other offerings instead.
You know you bring up a fair point here. This might make during certain builds alot less fun, if you are unable to get just the right map for something like Jumpscare Myers. That and another issue that might run into is well. With the idea the others in this thread have brought up of x offering to stop you from going to a certain map. What if someone uses a offering to stop them from going to hawkins but someone else uses a offering to send them to hawkins? Would the person who wants to go to hawkins keep their offering, due to it being negated by the offering that stops you from going to x map? That or would their offering be used up like normal, as if two people used say different map offerings, like one for hawkins and another for The Game?

"Yeah it sucks for the one person on the hook, who if they hang on to the very end and don't just kill themselves, since they didn't get to really play the video game but are a true vip for being a real trooper for hanging in there to give random strangers, their team as much time as possible".
Yeah, I think the person on the hook should get a lot of blood points for hanging on till the end. It would make for fewer suicides, and make hanging on more worthwhile. For doing their part, they are helping the team succeed, and they should be rewarded appropriately.
Yeah that i can fully agree with. Since well they did do their part, in helping their team out.

I very rarely see facecampers in a game, so having to do gens to get back at a face-camper is fine. In fact it makes me more determined to get them done. I can't imagine that it is a lot of fun for the face-camper either, unless people come to them to get killed. Do the gens. Don't reward them for facecamping. If everyone does that then the face-camper will realize it's a bad strategy and stop facecamping. How do you not get that? The only reason they face-camp is because it works.
My experience has been much like your own. I think i can count the number of face campers i seen while playing as survivor on one hand.
Which yeah, the best way to punish a facecamper, is to do gens. Since sure you can try to save the person on hook but if the killer is a face camping bubba, that might lead to simply just feeding them kills, rather than any real save. Yet oddly some seem to be against doing just that and would rather give the facecamper a clear 4k, rather than try to deny them as many kills as possible. Yeah it sucks for the one person on the hook, who if they hang on to the very end and don't just kill themselves, since they didn't get to really play the video game but are a true vip for being a real trooper for hanging in there to give random strangers, their team as much time as possible.

I think this video sums up what i think when i hear the word tunneling. The plague in this game, focus to much on a single survivor. It lead to them losing the game. Due to overfocusing to much on a single survivor. The killer had tunnel vision. For focusing on this single survivor for so long, did not really benefit them at all and lead to them losing the game. Where if they had drop the chase and gone to focus on someone else rather than spending two much time on them, they might of done way better.

For sure, let’s say you see a streamer/YouTube playing Ghostface and that seems cool, then you realize you start with no perks but oh well I’ll just warn them as I learn to play. But wait, there’s more! Most solid GF builds include some combo of Nurses calling and/or pop... I guess at least you get thrilling tremors you don’t need BBQ although you’d like it for the grind
Going with the most standard basic ghostface build i can think of. There is whispers, sloppy, two free perks, than pop or corrupt invervention, with the final one being bbq. So you will need at least two teachable perks from other killers. Three if you want to replace whispers with nurse's calling.
That right there would be at least 2 million blood points, if not a bit more, just to unlock the teachables from other killers. If you go with a build that has only 2 teachable perks. If you want nurses, just throw another million or so blood points on top of that. If you go with fungoose no add on build for ghostface. You got Corrupt, the one legion perk that lets you know if survivors are doing gens with friends, sloppy and pop. Which would still be around 3 million or so blood points, just to unlock the teachable perks. Not counting all the blood points you would need to spend to get them on ghostface.
Of course ghostface does thankfully have mostly good starting perks. Since thrilling could possibly be used as a replacement for bbq, since it does block gens and lets you know which ones they are working on and which ones they are not working on. I'm all ears, can possibly give you an edge, by letting you know just what the survivor is doing. Allowing you to see like a god at mind games. So that could also work as a tracking perk. Sloppy would be your go to slow down perk, only need tier one for sloppy main effect. Yet i honestly can't think of anything that could replace pop or corrupt, that wouldn't lead to you having to spend at least a million blood points or more to get it. So if we go with a build of sloppy, thrilling and i'm all ears, with the fourth being say pop or corrupt. That is still a fair number of blood points for a new player, who simply just wants to play ghostface while having a decent build.

@Bovinity im still waiting for the response about sounds configuration :(
BTW, spinechill is indeed gooooooooooooooood against Stealth killers, and not stealth killers aswell as Spirit and in general agianst any killer cause you can AVOID a chase by creating distance and hiding or jsut creating so much distance that the killer may not even try to go for u, anyway Spinechill is overall fine, good perk. but not insane sometimes the perk actually fuc** u all over because is vague information u may even run to the killer wich is hilarious...
Yeah spinechill is also part of the vaulting build, since well spinechill does make vaulting faster when the killer is looking at you. Which can be a life saver. That and before vaults became smoother, could help you to avoid the pure nonsense hits.So not just good for early warnings but to help you loop as well.

Yeah, I wish the devs would crack down on it, but they don't seem to care. What's the worst is when new killers get told how much they suck, after going up against far more experienced survivors. They are trying to learn the game and the killer, of course they aren't going to be good at them yet, but some people just have to be #########.
My guess is that they are just immature people that don't succeed in real life, so they take any chance they get to dump on people anonymously, to make themselves feel better.
Yeah i remember having that happen in one of my first few games, when i was new to the game. Trying to figure things out. Well i got the lovely message of how people wish my family catches a certain disease, in post game chat. It was just lovely.

- As a spirit, able to hit many times (because healthy survivors body block injured one) but barely able to down because all are red rank and I didnt play spirit for a while. Result in 1K.
Post chat: lol, the tunnel is real.
I dont know, hit each survivor 10 times and still a tunneler?
- As a trapper, it was 2men x2 swf (lets name them A1 A2 and B1 B2). Able to sacrifice A1 mid game, when EGC starts, A2 escape right away. Only B1 B2 in the game, which is B1 on hook. I know B2 will try everything to get hooked one out. But I just casually walk to the gate, lay a trap. Unhook happens, both of them run to the gate, that B1 guy steps on trap, I pick up and hook him. Result in 2K.
Post chat: why ** u put trap in that place, hope ur mom die in car crash.
The more playing this game, the more I feel "survivors are a true villain in this game"
Yeah some people are just massive aholes. Of course when it 4 survivors vs one killer. It just make senses to see more survivors who acted like rude. Just due to how large their numbers are. Of course i been very lucky to see way more good folk than i have bad folk. Majority of people i met in game, have been solid good folk. Lots more good than negative.

I've purposefully left out positive ranking, because then there would be a lot of contention from EITHER side with being able to rank up very quickly, and with the amount of farming games that would appear from this, I don't think it'd be fair to allow it and boost people's ranking further than it should be.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1299518#Comment_1299518
There would also 100% be a bullet point in the description warning killers about a lack of ranking.
Yeah that would be a fair and good way of handling it. That way, they know what they are getting into when using the offering.
