No, but a bikini skin is coming up.
I can't wait! -
The way I think about it is this; I don't wanna die. Better you than me.
-
Amazing how a simple but important question can turn into exchanging insults, accusations and comebacks. You guys should just work on keeping your cool.
As for the addon dilemma: I thought about it too, seems slightly unfair, though nothing extreme. The proposal to let killers keep ine or two based on their performance, is something to consider, but there's at least one con I can think of: killers almost always get more BP than survivors, which offers us a better opportunity to use at least yellow or green addons, basically all the time. I certainly have over 50 garden rakes, bog water, not to mention that huge stockpile of smelly soles

Piggie can teabag, though a little too slowly
-
Leatherface is very easy to juke. Practice a bit and you'll see how weak he is.
-
I know it's not going to be a "Samurai" (thank God for that), but if it's anything similar, his/her power should be Seppuku. You know, for those times when four survivors are teabagging you at exit.

But actually condoning trolling behaviour and cyberbullying? Well, it certainly gives their company name a different meaning! They shouldn't tolerate this kind of behaviour, as it's downright toxic to the gameplay, playerbase and community.Teabagging is neither trolling or cyberbullying.
Is it obnoxious and immature? Yep, but it's neither of the two things you stated.
I usually wouldn't use Urban Dictionary as a reference, but the top definitions here are 100% correct:
https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Trolling
And calling teabagging cyberbullying minimizes what actual cyberbullying is. When you water down definitions of words, they lose actual meaning and impact. Teabagging is not "an aggressive, intentional act or behavior that is carried out by a group or an individual, using electronic forms of contact, repeatedly and over time against a victim who cannot easily defend him or herself."
This watering down of definitions of words is exactly why identity politics have become so ridiculous in the west. Everything is racist, everything is sexist, everything is cyberbullying, etc.
It's just someone getting under your skin mid-match, more than likely to try and get you to do something rash that they can capitalize on. Keep your cool and you'll put them on the hook.
100% second that. Very well said, 245_Trioxin

It'd be so much fun.Some killers aren't ######### sorry
I know that. Losers.

You are weak. Most of us go through this feeling of being butthurt because of teabagging. Get over it: in any game, the winner has the right to mock and insult the loser. He is a bigger person if he doesn't, but he has the right to. Take it with quietly and with dignity. Whining about it like a girl does not make anything better.
-
I always call people hacker, camper, tunneler and allaround ######### when I lose, then make something up to report them for. The experience just isn't complete without it.
-
I enjoyed them survivor chops greatly, and the extra BP as well. Using only invitations I managed to pile up 35 ebony mories for my LF and some 15 for Hag.
Good times are coming now, even with the event over. -
Not toxic, not OP, not a crutch. Just catch up to the survivor and down them again. So much spineless crying-for-mommy from killers and survivors alike.
-
I had high expectations for the new killer.
Could hardly think of anything more lame than a "Samurai" though. Desperately hope it's not the case...
On the other hand, if it's something from Shinto mythology, I can get behind that! -
Please devs, pleeease don't bring Chucky in the game! I don't get people's obsession with that idiotic toy, or that movie, which is of very questionable quality. There's so much more potential in making original killers.
EDIT: or, if you REALLY have to license one, make it King Kong. One perk could be Smash Generator, it would hammer a generator into a pancake, rendering it completely unrepairable for the rest of the game. For balance, it should have a cooldown. Say, five seconds? -
Just a little advice: using caps always undermines one's cause. Chill, bro.
-
Use Kindred and hope for smart teammates. Also, don't get mad when they fail to save you - they're not necessarily stupid, may be new or just mediocre players (many of us are!)
Finally, what's your definition of camping? Many players got it wrong: if the killer won't leave because he suspects other survs nearby, that isn't camping, just punishing overaltruism. Not saying YOU don't get it, but lots of survivors don't. I'm saying this because to my experience, camping is by no means an epidemic. It rarely happens, unless one's definition of it is "killer not immediately leaving the hook's 60 m area". Many of such complaints are rooted in survivors' anger over being hooked. Just don't get caught. -
I keep hearing about NOED and DS being crutch perks. They are not. They definitely don't give a player more of an edge than most meta perks, and they can be countered with a bit of effort. For NOED, see above (cleansing totems before it activates). For DS, I can't tell you how many times I caught the surv who escaped my grasp within 15 seconds. Also, there's the drop'n'pickup technique.
As for the original proposition: that's a big no. NOED not being a hex perk would really make it OP. I say this as a killer who uses it every once in a while. -
No.

The fact that this game can piss you off is the very proof it's a great game. Take it seriously, play it mean and hard and ruthless. Camp and tunnel when it's effective. And when the match is over, regardless whether it's a 4K or a 0K remember: it's a game, and not easy for survivors either. Say gg and get on with your life.
-
Geez... sorry, but it's just whining. I play killer 80% of the time, and yes, there are people who just piss me off, but what you say here sounds like "that list from high school". Sabotaging is a valid way for survivors to hinder you, and even if someone is really just being an ass and purposefully concentrates on saboing your event hooks: I think you should just keep playing the game as you'd normally do (which doesn't include facecamping I assume). Yea, he'll be saved, but you can get him again, and have a good game despite facing a troll. BP-s are not everything.
That's just my take on the issue though. I admit, I have chosen to single out some extreme trolls for special punishment - I prefer ignoring everyone else and letting the one troll bleed out
I just think saboing event hooks is just not up there.
-
I second most of what's said above: be a good teammate, don't try to unhook yourself and don't go die - killer will suffer for the loooong time wasted. In fact, if your teammates are good enough, you may still be saved, preferably with Borrowed Time, and the loser ends up with zero kills and a pip down.
Gotta say though, 99% of killers don't camp, except when gates are powered/open, with one on the hook and three alive and well, in which case camping is often the prudent thing to do. -
If the success zone were 10% or less of the whole circle, it would be hard NOT to hit it, making it harder to fail and wake up. Although then the automatic failure for just stopping repairing would have to be removed for sleeping survivors.Tsulan said:@George_Soros said:
I disagree with most of what is suggested here. If I could pick one and only one buff for Freddy, it would be enhancing his vision. He's practically unable to see beyond 15-20 meters, and if survs got the funny idea to thicken the Mist, he is pretty much completely effin blind.
He's never gonna be a top tier killer nor do I think he should be, but he offers a very unique game style, much different from other killers. I relish the diversity of DbD; it would be nice to make him at least somewhat viable.EDIT: I just found a suggestion which would be sweet too: INCREASE skill check success zones greatly (an effect possibly modifiable with addons). That would be a necessary but not unbalancing change - survivors would still have a chance to wake up on their own, but not "for free".
What would increased skill check success zones change? Survivors spam space in order to wake up.
Just an idea though. There might be better ways. I still think the best that could happen to Freddy is a clearer vision. -
I play killer 80% of the time and gotta say: some killers are such whiners. It's not like a last sec switch some powerful tool. Ok, you didn't equip your lightburn immunity addon or Franklin's, etc... it's still not a gamechanger. If one or two extra flashlights cause you such a big problem, then you're not playing the game right.
DC-ing because of this? Pathetic. -
Now it's public. It's gonna be Jesus Christ. Devs wanted Mohamed, but chickened out.

NOED. A great perk. There isn't really any more to say

-
Agreed. There are plenty of other suggestions about fixing totems, but this is more simple and viable than most. Doesn't harm balance either: It's not like a change like this would enable the killer to set up an impossible-to-find totem, as any spot can be searched by survivors. Also, just like with traps, crafty survivors would still often spy on the killer placing the Hex, which is fine: reward skill and boldness. But it would eliminate those infuriating hook hill totem spawns.
-
I play killer 80% of the time, use Ruin quite often, and have no problem with gen tapping. The point is to slow down gen progress, and forcing survivors who are unsure of their ability to hit great skill checks to tap does exactly that. If devs made the Hex effect stronger somehow, that would basically force all survivors to go look for the totem, which would give us killers too great an opportunity to effectively camp the totem.
It'd be much better to have some fix on totems spawning in a place ridiculously easy to find. Many ideas have come up about this: killer personally placing totem, or just hexing a chosen dull totem. My suggestion would be a perk or, less ideally, an offering that would move the hex to another totem if the hex totem is cleansed, possibly 1/2/3 times, depending on the level of the perk.
