Mostly...
I believe Boil over and Knock Out should be in Very Unhealthy, or a whole seperate tier. They have absoultely no actual purpose escept basically harassment or an adept.
Pentimento being on this list is uhhh... interesting?
I think streetwise is fine.
Made for this I actually don't think is unhealthy, just unbalanced. It honestly doesn't belong on every single complaint list.

Bro, trappuh OP.
His traps invoke a deep fear in SWF teams...
GRASS
No, not ass.
-
At least make it give some BP as well. Maybe a minimum of 5k so it can't be used as BM?
I would see people giving 1 bp to troll.

I don't know how you came up with 35%. 30% of current progress and the 2.5% base regression for the kick do not equal 35%. No matter how much progress the gen had. Most of the time the killer won't be able to use their Pop on a gen that is nearly finished anyway. So they won't get the full value out of it.
If your solo queue team mate goes down in 20 seconds, then how can you expect to win? I know it sucks when someone else loses the game for you but, if someone goes down so fast multiple times and nobody can make up for it, then you deserve to lose. Survivor is a team game and if one member doesn't pull their weight, then they have to lose.
It would realisticly be 20-30%
Losing 35% would be due to him kicking the gen, instantly losing 32.5, and then having to wait for him to move away.
This would only happen if the gen was 99.99%, so it is more hypothetical.
It is still possible to win if they go down in 20-30 seconds, but with Pop, its not really possible.
-
I reccomend redefining your definiton of "infinite".

Thats fair

Pop Goes The Weasel is very healthy perk for the game. It doesn't work, if the killer can't get a down, which means it incentivises going for chases. And after the killer hooked someone, they also have an incentive to leave the hook to use their Pop. It's good that it's back in the meta. We all saw what the alternative was in 6.1.0. The game doesn't work without strong regression perks and as long as they work without getting any downs, that means they can be abused to play for 3gens.
Also, Pop Goes The Weasel is a great perk. But it's definitely not overpowered. Yes, Nurse, Blight and Spirit are pretty nasty with such strong perks but that is more of a problem with these specific killers rather than the perks themself. Remember Awakened Awareness and how it had to be nerfed because of Nurse? Let's not repeat this.
Slow down perks have and will always be meta because realistically the survivors outpace the killer. If they don't, then that means the killer plays A LOT better than them. Pop Goes the Weasel slows the game considerably as long as the killer can get downs faster than the survivors progress and push through. Meaning, if the survivors last long enough in chase, then Pop Goes The Weasel does very little.
How am I supposed to prevent my solo q teamates from going down in 20 seconds and then losing 35% of my gen instantly?

Eruption's problem was it hurted solo survivors while SWFs played around.
SWF survivor: I am about to down, leave the gens.
Little regression on all kicked gens but nobody affected by Incapacitated Effect.
Now how you would do that with solo survivors? Killer would get you down and now all survivors can not do anything for 25 seconds.
This was ridicilous and most boring anti-gen perk ever.
Sure it was rewarding killer for getting down but it affected one side unfairly more.
Thats literally why I said "aside from slaughtering solo q more than SWF". Many people said that getting a down shouldn't be rewarded much more than the hook state and pressure. Pop completely violates what a decent size of the forums were saying.
-
@Chocolate_Cosmos said:
Old Pop was better because it regressed the same value but from MAXIMUM instead of CURRENT progression.
I don't see problem with it. You need to get a hook and then find Gen to be best to used it on. Its only as effective as Survivors allow it to be. If your team is falling apart offten, Killer will regress a lot offten too.
Original Pop was definitely overpowered, the new one is weaker, but with perks like tinkerer its not very hard to see which gen is the most progressed.
@MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:
Pop was always fine perk. It rewarded killer for getting hooks.
The only problem, this perk is so strong on killers like Nurse and Blight. But it's problem with these killers, not perk itself.
So Pop is fine as is.
How is "rewarding hooks" any different from "rewarding downs"? If downs and hooks should be rewarded with massive payouts along with the base progression, then what was wrong with old Eruption? Aside from slaughtering solo q more than SWF.
-
NO!!!
I MUST SHOVE FACE INTO WALL AND RUN IN A CIRCLE FOR 5 MORE SECONDS!!!!!
NO NON-CHASE PERKS ARE ALLOWED!
-
These have been one of the first times I've actually been face-camped while not in the EGC(excluding Bubs).
It honestly only ever happens when a killer gets extra pissy, which isn't all that common.
But now... they do it as a replacement for tunneling sometimes...
Buy hey, its almsot Tuesday!
-
I mean, BHVR isn't really helping with this...
If the devs don'f want to admit an obvious problem, then they're actively reducing traction for the game.
-
Pro-tip:
Look at a wall.
-
No
-
Just add killer bots...
You can beat the bot 100% of the time!
-
Oh my ######### god.
HE ACTUALLY WANTS TO NERF PIG!
ITS NOT EVEN A MEME!
I agree, nerf pig.
-
If James gets a pillow with a different kill animation, then yes!
-
I... almost forgot theres a button to kick generators without a regression build.
I mean, they regress at 1/4th the speed that ONE survivor works on them. The only time I kick without a regression build is for BP at the end...
-
Who would fear tunneling as killer?
The thing I fear is solo q teamates... yes, as killer. It feels like I'm responsible for making everyone not suicide, AFK, or try to throw the game. It puts more stress on me than any SWF.

I never said it was impossible, I said it was insanely difficult, and often relies on some level of prediction since your average player cannot react in time to actually dodge it.
In my experience, its pretty easy to crouch before it hits you.
The sound que is pretty loud since hes right next to you, and crouching makes you unhittible on some short walls, car for example.
If the killer is lagging, then sometimes its undodgeable, but its not impossible to dodge left-right either before it hits without much lag.
About the topic, I feel eveything you said is legitimate, I also think BHVR may remove it.
-
I feel what you are saying.
This one stuck out massively, the random color explosion makes it pretty terrible IMO.
This is just one example, there are tons more. Have you seen anyone running around in the new nordic cosmetics at all?
-
Honestly, DS at 5 seconds should be basekit. Just make it disable upon a protection hit, and slightly tweak that definition and tunneling would be solved.
I'm sure both sides would make up 3000 reasons why tunneling is needed and attacking with DS is needed, but that always happens.

Was this survivor baiting or its bugged i didn't know
It actually is bugged, but its meaningless. It makes you scream in lockers as well, but who tf hides in lockers? Dwight?
What they wanted to say was "yOu bEaT mE aT a gAmE sO i mUsT fINd A wAy tO cOmPlAiN!"
Thats kinda how a lot of the DBD community is sadly.
-
Ulitmate weapon isn't "massively overpowered" or anything. The two survivors running that build are either trolling or massively overeacting. Even if the killer knows where everyone is, he still has to run after that survivor, hit that survivor, down that survivor, and hook that survivor. MFT is still massively useful as you get full value out of it. Well unless its nurse, then UW may be broken on her.
-
Is Knight broken?
His guards are slightly bugged, but honestly a lot of killers have lots of bugs.
I don't think that'd fall under "broken".
-
Probably in 2025.
Behavior takes at least a year or 6 to legitimately change survivor things. Looking at you DH.

Why not? It's a cesspool of toxicity, is it not? Killers complain about survivors mocking them in endgame chat for playing nice, and then they pay that toxicity forward by responding with toxicity of their own, as if that'll teach the previous group a lesson.
Because everyone would just be toxic in game.
End game chat is really the only way to express that you aren't a total ####### and want the killer to off themselves due to you losing.
I believe that EGC is the only way to express positivity.
-
No.
-
The killer.
Not the maniac.
-
Heh, it'd be funny, but every single survivor main would scream and have a fit over it.
Also blights rushes are based on his base speed so I think he'd go Mach 10 if you combined it all.
Personally I like the idea, it wouldn't help killers like nurse and spirit as much as it would help M1 killers, which is what we need.
-
Bans are not discussed publicly on the forums.
I wish you luck though!

If this were to happen in a real life scenario they would be stabbed. There shouldn't be anyway the killer misses unless they are no longer in the fov that close.
You know, in real life Wesker would just instantly kill 90% of the survivors.
Survivors like David and Vitorio would body legion, trickster, and pig.
Deathslingers gun would you know, I'm sure you know.
Twins would be twin...
Survivors wouldn't scream when a killer opened a locker.
Pyramid head, pinhead, dredge, Wesker, etc would laugh at the chunks of wood called pallets
Survivors would climb over the wall.
Come to think of it Chris would body 60% of the killers, did you see his boulder punching? I'm not even sure if Knight could survive his fury.

The things people say these days. We also need to keep Skull Merchants 3-gen and bring back Eruption!!!
-
Oh yeah I forgot he could do this.
I mean playing against knight one in 30+ games and only 1/2-4 using it almost made me forget.
Survivors do have a W key for a reason, and that makes this niche strategy completely useless!

For your infomation on that day I only dc once before that and still got a 1hr penelty. your not taken in account not just net affects the game play. Servers, not just Dead by daylights for example psn or Xbox live etc. There should be a code system in place for things like that for example code 500 should be able to show the automated system and it can check since it did say no internet connection. Also take in account weather and time. Now how many dc's in how many hrs not sure but for a fact I only dcd once before that the stream shows it. Sometimes you get a bad start with a killer who just focuses you intentionally you know and players do get frustrated. As said above I only dcd once that day before hand.
Thats not how the DC penalty works.
You are either outright lying, or BHVR has a massive glitch that quadruples the curent penalty stage.
I suspect the former.
-
This didn't go the way you thought it would...
-
Against a killer like Wesker, shack is actually pretty weak, so you actually should drop shack pallet kind of early if needed.
Saving shack pallet against m1 killers like freddy and taking a hit may actually be a good thing as it isn't hard to loop shack for over a minute against those types.
So no, you did the right thing. "Don't drop shack pallet" is very situational.
Edit: if you are going to go down, by all means drop shack pallet regardless of situation.
-
Nerf mad grit...
-
I also despise spirit.
Most of her "counterplay" involves walk in a random direction and hope she doesn't hit you.
Which basically isn't counterplay.

I think its quite the opposite lol
Never had a problem with killer on this map, but I don't play Hillbilly, cannibal or Blight, so I don't know how they feel on that map
Absolutely one of the best maps for Huntress, Deathslinger, Trickster, and now the Xenomorph
I honestly don't think the map needs rework, but yeah, everything needs to be killer sided now (thats why they never touch Midwich, Rotten Fields, Wrecker's Yard, Shelter Woods, etc)
Everything needs to be killer sided?
Mothers Dwelling rework?
Creation of Garden of Joy?
No adjustment planned for badham?
Rotten Fields is Killer sided now?
BHVR's way of reworking maps is really random, but they aren't making all of them killer sided.
-
No one did it yet 😈
-
In my opinion the game has become completely unenjoyable. After both sides learned how to abuse obnoxious tactics, the gameplay became very stale.
Harrassing a Bubba with a door was funny for a game or two, but got old quick.
Sissy just following you for 5+ minutes is also annoying.
As family Connies 'instant unlock' ability makes any attempt to lock doors useless.
Being able to almost instantly kill people with Bubbas saw is sastisfying, but it eventually becomes the same exact thing again and again.
Its kind of like old DBD, it has many many absurdly broken things.
-
My thoughts on how they will fix her:
Drones can no longer be placed.
near generatorsClaw traps increase Survivor movement speed.
Skull Merchant now breaks breakable walls(not pallets) 2000% faster.
We believe that these changes reduce her 3-genning potential while still keeping her a strong killer in chase, and incentivizing deactivating drones.

DH would like a word with you. It was the most complained about thing on this forum by far and it took them quite a bit to nerf it. And then they had to nerf it again because it was still too strong.
It has nothing to with the amount of complaints. It is more of a: "BHVR's ways are inscrutable." situation.

Blight was always popular topic and after 3 years, he still did not get any nerf.
Eruption also took so long to nerf.
But yeah, ofcourse. Survivorside devs. Devs just hates killers. I will play TCM right now and i will leave DbD to die.
Both Blight and DH have been talked about for a long while, but the screams never didn't reach alien levels for more than a day at a time. The whole forum had 80% alien rant for a week, which is why BHVR nerfed him.

@pizzavessel15 said:
bhvr listens to survivors more than killers. if its fun for survivors its not a problem for them (weak killers) if its unfun for survivors (strong killers) its the top of their list. survivors have been complaining about Wesker alot so my advice is dont get attached to him. in dbd youll learn survivors run the game, if they complain dont get attached to the thing theyre complaining about.
I don't think its specifically this...
The survivor mains are much much louder and more persistant than the killer mains. Killers rants about MFT have become much more rare, but as a past example, survivors were screaming about eruption every single day, and didn't stop until it was nerfed(7 months).
