It's meant to be a situational perk and i think it is very strong for what it does.
Exactly, people want this to be super strong and while it's fun it should still be a niche perk. Because too many times already I see people try to jump in a locker mid chase for a quick stun. Buffing this would just bring worst times.
-
Tbh I don't think it needs to be buffed, it's already a good perk and there are people already abusing it

Translation: your logic totally countered my demand and i don't like that, get out.
No, it's the snarky attitude most people on this forum have on here when they disagree. People can never just disagree they have to condescending or be sarcastic of some sort. But say whatever you like.

It’s like asking if NoEd not being able to work with BW (which also “last 60 seconds”). Just no.
You can take your attitude somewhere else.
-
I'm not trying to nerf it into the ground, I'm just saying it's a crazy combo especially when DS lasts 60 seconds.
-
@Hexyl that's horrible they're a team surely someone is able to look into this.
-
I think it's a great perk against swf with toolboxes since you don't have to worry about them rushing 1 gen in 60 secs before you make it to the other side of the map lol
-
@Almo we really need just some small tweaks to plagues power regardless if she's in high ranks. I play Plague in high ranks as well but still acknowledge that she could use just a bit of fine tuning.
-
See I play both sides but when you try to have fun as killer the Survivors don't care at all and will still try to be toxic towards you, so they don't care about your enjoyment in general.
-
@Almo said:
Looks like a net buff, and she's already performing very well at high rank. She's got a shallow learning curve.
Note:
A "steep learning curve" means you spend little time to get very good. A "shallow learning curve" means you spend a lot of time to get a little good.
Most people get this backward... just do an X-Y plot of time versus skill to see how this works. :)
Will you still be considering just a few of these numerical tweaks though?

There are some great killers on console, I play on PC and PS4 platforms but in my experience the killers are harder on console once you get to red ranks because even with your sensitivity at Max it doesn't match what the PC has and the clarity when you go through windows and pallets are better on PC , I find myself getting smacked down for the first game or 2 after playing PC and coming back to PS4 in the same day because I have to adjust to not having the distance I thought I had on the killer with the bad fps and lag with the standard PS4 game floating between 100-200 ping
That's interesting, tell me more I have this game for both PS4 and PC as well. One other thing I noticed is that there's alot more interaction between players with chat on PS4 than PC in my opinion and for some reason most of it has been very good conversation lol

The devs would just say, “It’s definitely something we can look into, but there are other priorities that are higher on the list.” On the (possible) bright side, dedicated servers is going to help the game! Not to mention a chapter being released with it on September 17th (or 10th) ;)
Pls no don't lolz xD
-
People take this game too damn seriously, it's not a Moba or Fighting game. They need to calm down, this game is not competitive in the slightest.
And that's very bad behavior whoever texted you that has way too much time in their hands.
Whatever happened to leaving all the beef in the game/match? Is that not a thing with this new gen?
-
Insidious isn't a problem, people will camp with or without a terror radius lolz
-
Um....I think you might have misplaced plague lol xD

About 5
He meant that since you have a fountain already corrupt you can infect everyone before using it, thus making corrupt purge even more dangerous, and since they know you have a fountain already corrupted they will not want to be Broken, ever, thus forcing them to cleanse
And since the sickness essentially denies stealth with all the coughing it forces survivors even further to cleanse
5 is the only one I have a problem with, all the others are fine
I can see that, if they don't implement that I wouldn't have a problem, we have apples anyway lol

No, because Plague can wait untill she maakes everyone broken and then use her Corrupt fountain and unless people start to cleanse ( and thus giving her more Corrupt ), they are one shot against her range attack. Also, if Plague has Vile Emetic and Black Incense on top of that, it's GG unless people start to cleanse before she gets eveyone broken.
But that's a viable way to get Survivors. I don't see anything wrong with that, it's just smart use of corruption I don't see why not... And she still has to walk to where ever that one pool is to use it

I find the Plague sadly to be the worst and most boring killer to play against. It is a shame, because I love her lore, I liker her design but there is a fatal flaw in her power.
First of all:
- her vomit should stay much longer on gens, windows, objects etc.
- survivors afflicted by the disease should not be exposed but suffer severe speed penalties and increased difficulty skillchecks, exposed should be only with the addon,
- survivors afflicted by the disease and wounded cannot heal themselves and others
- ADDON ONLY - if all survivors are sick she gets currupt purge automatically
That is all she needs to be a very good killer. Survivors would be forced to heal and if they refuse she gets her power anyway. Now the question is how to balance this out since her power does not require much skill to use and she can down poeple easily.
I like the idea but I think that would be wayyyy too much in my opinion. Survivors should still have a choice to cleanse, so it's shouldn't be extremely debilitating but more so a big disadvantage to encourage cleansing.
Although, I agree vomit should stay on object a bit longer.

@White_Owl said:
Something I would add is to reduce the slow down when canceling the Vile Purge charge. Sometimes you realize it would be better to M1 but that slowdown is too punishing, giving survivors too much distance.
If all pools are cleansed, you automatically gain corrupt Purge <3 and I agree with the canceling out of vile purge.
-
@PigNRun said:
I agree with this. Solid ideas.
I would also suggest one more thing, which is less of a buff and more like a QoL change. There is something like a small delay or the vomit doesnt actually start shooting if you dont charge purge enough. For instance, if you do M2 and release too quickly, you wont vomit and will enter cooldown anyway. This happens when I want to puke on something, but I try doing it so fast that sometimes this happens, making me waste a bit of time.
Granted its a bit of my fault, but I would like that either:
1) Release of purge doesnt have that delay./You vomit anyway if you used M2 at all regardless of how long you held it.
2) Dont suffer a cooldown if you dont vomit.
I like both of your ideas too! Especially the m2 one

@TerminalEntropy said:
That's very well thought, you have my sword. I mean - censer :)
Thank you lol :3 hopefully the devs can consider this too
-
@Marcus said:
I don't agree with 3 and 5. Her cooldown is fine, most of the time survivors can make it to a pallet because she slows down 3 times to puke once, so you shouldn't touch it. Also, starting with a Pool of Devotion already corrupted would force survivors to cleanse every match, her entire concept of "you decide to be weaker or you decide to make her stronger" would be ruined.
Hindered Status was a idea I had for her and I guess more charge time is fine if her effectiveness is increased by default.
Actually, regarding 5 with her starting with a pool of corrupt Purge it doesn't affect the cleansing or no cleansing scenario because idk if you know but hitting Survivors with corrupt Purge doesn't infect them, it only damages them regularly. So they still have a choice to cleanse or not.
Regarding 3: one of the cooldowns need to be reduced, whether it's before her charge when she slows down, or after she finishes the vomit imo.

@Sneaky_Dwight said:
Pretty good ideas, actually.
Thank you very much :3 I'm glad you read it and hopefully devs can take this into consideration

@PigNRun said:
I wouldnt mind if they upped Vile Purge effectiveness just a small bit at base (and adjust add-ons accordingly).
Agreed!
-
Guys here are my suggestions, whom I a plague main and other fellow Plague mains would probably agree on. Corrupt doesn't need a buff it's the other things:
-
Plague is fun for me, why is everyone now so worried about her now? You all were ranting and raving for GhostFace before.. leave us alone lol
-
Escape until I find the easiest killer to run away from, and then stay there and not escape anymore, actually live there because the threat is minimal.
And then the Entity would get frustrated and actually let me out of their convoluted mess because I'm not generating enough fear for them.
-
As a plague main, I don't really rely on corrupt Purge funny enough, I use my full stream of vile then hit for an auto instadown, I only use Corrupt Purge for loops and multidowns.
As we've said before, don't cleanse and we'll use thanatophobia to our fullest and one shot you, you're easier to hear and spot by being sick too. You might loop me, but if I'm good at mind games and loops you'll learn to cleanse soon enough (they get the hint to do so when on their last hook)
Corrupt makes me a goddess.
Pick your poison... literally :3

Coulrophobia, Nurse's Calling, Sloppy Butcher, and Insidious on Plague.
:) :) :)

Play as Plague and you won't have to deal with instaheals and adrenaline :3

In this thread of yours ( https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/78863/get-me-out#latest ) from the same day you say you wanna get out of high ranks and now you are complaining about getting black pips?
Lmao
You still don't get it do you? It's not about the pips, it's about how unfun and stressful as killer it is in high ranks. Which by the way I also say in that thread you included.
Just leave dude.

@Madjura said:
I don't remember the exact quote or who said it but a dev argued that they are hesitant to add that because some add-ons have low numbers that however still have a big impact in the game but the numbers would make them seem weak
Nevertheless this should be added, the current system is not transparent at all
Agreed!

Then play without Noed / Ruin or any generator slower. You ll see, games go fast and you ll reach red very slowly.
That forces to get better at game and decision making.
Thats the problem, intentionally Deranking to have "fun" shouldn't be a thing in the first place. Everything is so backwards in DBD
-
@My_Farewell said:
Your problem, i still have fun at rank 1. Try pve games maybe?
You have fun at "Rank 1"? How long before your fun gets you either deranked or constant losses, and also it depends on who you play. For those of us who don't want to continually play Nurse Billy or Spirit the struggle is real.
So I'm glad you have fun friend, but not everyone does and apparently there are those who share the same sentiment by realizing killer gameplay in those ranks are more stressful than fun.
-
@Jago said:
Why this thread since you cry about nurse nerf ?!
Lel. Gamers these days... Kardashian did consume your soul with bipolarity.
Nurse can still be OP, that's something alot of people can agree on.
And I play both sides, I don't just main one side which it seems alot of people on the forum do.
-
Plague or Wraith
-
I think the annoying part to be honest is the ability for Survivors to just force a grab fr you to use it.
Hiding in lockers intentionally, just to ensure using it, that's really annoying.

@Kerbert said:
@Gardenia is right, Killer is incredibly unfun in high ranks. You get looped and genrushed then teabagged out the exit gate with survivors taunting you in the endgame chat. Low rank survivor play has everything to do about skill, not the game. The reason survivors struggle in low ranks is because they have't gained enough skill and are new to the game. Killers in high ranks are there because of their skill. Say what you want about how useless ranks are and how they mean nothing, but you can't deny that Players in high ranks are better at the game than in low ranks. So the reason killer is so unfun isn't because they're trash or ignorant to do better, it's because the game is actually stacked against them and yes, survivors have the advantage.
Exactly, once you hit rank 1 you really don't have any incentive to play killer anymore because it's all just mentally exhausting how in every match you have to be 100% ON. And the community just doesn't make it better
It's not fun, really it isn't....
-
@MegsAreEvil said:
Its exactly the other way round. But you like to cry about everything unlogical, so this is just another poor bait.
It's not bait, but okay. At least you're gone now.

Literally Everytime something that's not about Survivors:
"But survivors xyz..."
Like damn make a thread about that if you want I'm not here to argue you either comment to discuss, assent, disagree and then leave the thread with the topic at hand.
This community my God where did games of this gen go wrong?
-
Would you all shut up about the whole Survivor stance, my God. I'm talking about how killer play is not enjoyable that's fine if Survivors aren't enjoyable in low ranks noone is denying that. Make a thread about that since you wanna talk about it. It's a legitimate issue that high rank killer play is more stressful than fun and no game should be like that.

Only bad thing I can think of is that killers or survivors will be distracted by shirtless Myers or Bikini Nea, but that's all I see wrong. (And if people don't to see this at all)
I'm just suggesting DBD keeps things classy and not get all super fanservice-y, otherwise it will not be taken too seriously because of these things (see f13)

Or: we can play the game because we love it, AND look at female characters with barely any clothes! There is no harm here. Don't oppose it if it's not harmful to anyone. Thank you!
I can oppose all I want because really I don't really want to see this in game. I hate to be a Debbie downer but not everyone wants to see this in game.
But I'll take my leave now, because I see this thread isn't for me.
-
And also because most of us play games to play them, not to sit there gawking at a pixelated woman with barely any clothes, you have internet porn and strip clubs for that stuff.
Please keep that away from here.

Yes, but before it was a one time use which made only people who used it to be a team player have it in their build. Everyone else would ignore it since it wouldn't be active the rest of the game. Now that it is infinite, people are more drawn to it because they can use it whenever they please with almost no consequence to themselves. It in no way gives them invulnerability, just an extra health state. They can still be immediately downed after that.
I just don't agree and prefer this version, sorry.
*Shrugs*

And the whole bunny Feng thing needs to stop being asked too, two damn questions about it. Leave it be...
