It's been a year since developers just nerf for survivors and buffs for killers.
nothing new, this forum is full of killers main who wish they had 4 survivors already hanging on the hook at the beginning of the game..
I can't play killer anymore because is too easy (vs solo survivor) or too fast (4swf).
There need a huge nerf for swf and a lot of buff to solo survivor, but killer main are Blind of any possible buff for survivor.
@Lanis_ SWF keeps this game alive though and some people just play for fun. You also have to remember that. Ranking up at the moment is difficult for killers, which means you’ll have more time in mid/lower ranks unless you 4K with 9 hooks every game but that’s not realistic now, is it?
There is a statistic back from January of this year that the escape rate is at least 30% which isn’t even half. That’s insane tbh.
With DS nerfed, survivors will have to adapt now just like they did with the healing nerfs. It sucks, but it also gives you a challenge to improve more.
In the end of it all; it is just a game.

I personally love this update, it was the first time I bought both killer and survivor at the same time on the same day. Jane looks great, the perks are great, Plague if fun to play if you know how to play her properly.
Tiers don’t even matter at this point especially with the nerf that rank got for killers. Just have fun man, a 3k is good. Avoid tunneling obsession and you’ll be able to avoid that surprise DS. I always chase after people who unhook nowadays because it’s an extra hook on them as well.
Personally in my opinion, the forums at the moment are really hard to look at with all of the complaints...wish people didn’t react like this. At least it’s not a Legion 2.0?

Honestly, I just played the new killer against a few DS users but I don’t tunnel. So they never really have the chance to use it. Fat L.
Took out my DS from builds if I wanted to be annoying for fun or see how long I can do anything I call it the IM WILDIN build.

I don’t even know why this was implemented in console on the first place and not PC. We don’t DLC content release for some months, and since its already leaked there are people posting about it (such as this post).
There will be testing, tweaks, and nerfs of course.

I just got her omg, eeee!!! I can’t wait to play a serious match with her regardless of rank or swf. I just want to have fun.
I’m also going to be taking notes in my matches (how many dcs within 10-20 matches) to see if it’s true that many people are dcing against her.

I play survivor and it depends. Either I’m too low or too high (rank-wise) in my recent matches.
Last match I played as a rank 10 against rank 20s including the Nurse I played against, we all ended up escaping because I kept her onto me as distraction and protecting my teammates. After the match ended I literally felt so bad and I wanted to message them saying sorry that I didn’t know they were literally a rank 20 with no perks.
I get that this makes match making faster but to bully new players even more at this point makes me not want to play until this is resolved properly.

The most us survivors can do is point and say follow me.
You can say follow me to show someone the hatch. So that in the end at least one of you knows where the hatch is.
If you don’t want someone to heal you, heal yourself or keep moving to make them stop. The best to say “no” is probably shaking your character’s head to say no. Usually I understand or by pointing at killer or gen.

I love Dead by daylight and I genuinely have fun playing this game often solo or not. It does get really boring for me sometimes so I decided to do more perk builds instead of staying with the one I usually stay with to give myself a challenge.
But...yeah this game can get stale really fast actually. However this game wasn’t meant to be played like that all of the time, it seems extremely causal.
So I do agree with you on a few things; I do also wish for different game modes it would probably make the game a lot more fun than it is.

Survivors get cocky if they have an advantage, especially if the killer is doing poorly. There are also youtubers that promote this kind of behavior; or people just find it fun (since they’re not the ones experiencing it)
Some people also don’t like to play against a challenge because it feels like it will ruin their match. I’ve seen many disconnect against certain killers or when they’re losing overall.
I had a match earlier when I was playing Trapper; there were still 5 gens left and 2 people disconnected as soon as I downed them. The other guy decided to kill himself on hook while I just let the last guy go because I understand how frustrating it must has been to have survivors like that.
It affects both sides honestly, not just killers.

The easiest way to pip up is with SWF. You can also pip up pretty quickly in solo if you do a bit of everything in a game.
Which reminds me, rank is still broken in the end. I was playing as a rank 10 a few days ago and I had teammates in purple and red rank. Along with the beige rank which is 15+ and above.
It’s ridiculous. Perhaps the usual SWF ended up playing in solo and got destroyed immediately without someone there to hold their hand lmao.
Not saying all SWF are sweats, some are causal!!

As PS4 states, I need at least; 14 trophies for the base game. That’s already 77%!
While for the DLCs, I need about; 27 trophies left. Since there’s going to be new chapter that would probably range around 3-5 more.
I don’t have some of the killers to 100% the game even with dlc so oof!

The issues I mainly struggle for survivor is having bad teammates, and having to take the hatch in the end. It gets boring when you constantly have to do it tbh.
For killer it’s definitely genrushing or taking the game hostage; even when the hatch or gates are open. I really hate when survivors do that. It’s a waste of each other’s times.

If a Legion is tunneling one person at a time that Legion is going to get the fattest L by people who’s gonna genrush (if they aren’t potatoes)
They’re also making it a lot harder for themselves overall soooo LMAO
Will it be fun? Absolutely not but at least 3 other people will escape.

I’d like a bunch of things honestly. Here are my realistic ones:
- A balanced ranking system for both sides
- The game running at 60 FPS!? (A dream! 💞)
- At the end of every rank, including depending on your rank; you get a reward for it at the end of the season
- My own stats as survivor and killer. That would be amazing!

There was a typo happening for self care as well. I’m not sure if it actually took effect however. (They’ve fixed the self care typo sometime ago).

Survivors are just “skins” the only thing unique about them is the way they look or their cosmetics.
I was thinking about that too sometime ago but I’m afraid it probably won’t ever happen. Maybe though!!

@Hoodedfengm1n Actually yeah, it’s pretty common. Nobody really likes to play against Legion on PS4 (expect for a few people) but I see lots of dcs against them. It’s rare if nobody dcs against Legion in my matches at least.

I’ll just say what others have said for my mains
Bald Dwights tend to be the most toxic is what I’ve heard by many already
Davids are cocky and usually end up always trying to distract killer or “bullying” them
Default Jakes are the worst because they act like the biggest noobs in the entire game
Ironically, Feng Mins are the ones that rage quit a lot faster than others lmao
In my experience Feng Mins and default Jakes are true.

How would it be possible to improve solo exactly? I mean if solos had an advantage as well it wouldn’t be fair for everyone else. I’m saying this as a solo player myself.

I switch around with Myers, Trapper, and Spirit. I rarely touch Huntress.
Trapper is just for fun tbh but that’s just me.

You download the PTB on PC by right clicking on DBD, going to properties, then to Beta's - and on the first drop down box you can opt in to PTB - you do not need any sort of password.
You do not need to purchase the new Chapter, the killer & survivor are unlocked, but they will need to be levelled up to obtain their perks (these are all unlocked in KYF however).
The save file on the PTB was taken on the 1st March, so it was whatever was in the account at that time - BP/Shards/Characters etc. And any progress you make on the PTB is not saved when you switch back to the live version.
I know about that at the moment. I was going to play the PTB on pc. (My lover’s pc) I’m sorry if I wasn’t clear enough :’^

People DC because nothing is being done about it. There are no "harsh" punishments for it. Unlike some games where you DC and get a limited amount of time before you can play your matches once again, or lessen the XP to let others know that constant DCing is not okay (it will lessen possible DC).
It's understandable to have real life situations, but realistically you can't be having one EVERY single time. There seriously needs to be a system to fix this. For both survivors and killers btw.

She seems a lot more fun to play than Legion from what I've seen in many different game plays. Lots of people weren't happy with Spirit until now (after PTB)
I'll give her a rating for PTB: 6/10. Average. I think she has potential to be a mid/high tier killer.
