Pyramid Head's add-ons are a real issue since it seems to be universally agreed on that his best ones are those that increase his Punishment of the Damned attack range and none of the other add-ons even come close despite being of higher rarity.
I think they should increase the base power of it slightly and just get rid of all those add-ons so they'll be some variety.
I'm not sure about being worse than Nemesis though since he needs two hits with his whip attack to do damage and Pyramid Head can attack through walls.
-
What I thought they’d do is keep it as it is currently but remove invincibility unless the survivor had the Broken status (Synergy with No Mither).
I think you’ve made a good point, my concern with the changed perk is going to depend on things like internet connection and we’ll get interactions with Dead Hard that seem unfair if one side is lagging.
-
I found a way to do it fairly reliably but it’s pretty obnoxious - Use a Lery map with Tinkerer and a killer that’s good at chases.
-
I agree these are kind of ruining the event for me, played 6 matches and not 1 gold chaser, last match I got 4K and every hook I ran as far away as possible but still not enough. :(
-
Imo the communal challenges should have just been a passive thing that you didn’t have to opt into.

Spoiler Alert: Your teammates will continue to use Self-Care, they'll just spend longer wasting time in the corner now.
Not looking forward to a tier 1 Self Care teammate healing at 25% every time they are hit.

That's not what's being asked. The question is whether the bloodwebs themselves will reroll, not if you'll lose items you've already claimed.
For instance, when Hawkins offerings were removed, bloodwebs got reset, or at least bloodwebs that contained them. People who have old bloodwebs with retired offerings sometimes preserve them as a memento, and that might be jeopardized.
Anyway, I'd like to know the same thing, because I like to leave all of my characters with a fresh bloodweb that has event cakes, so I can claim cakes even after the event ends. I'd hate to lose out on those if bloodwebs get rerolled. (I also have a Huntress bloodweb with a yellow rarity Wooden Fox that I keep because it's weird, though it's not as cool as old splinters or map offerings.)
Ah, I understand, hopefully a dev will chime in!
-
No you keep all your current items.
But just to be clear it hasn’t been implemented yet and won’t be until the next chapter so if you don’t want to lose items don’t prestige at the moment.
-
Imo bring it back at 100% but disabled while exhausted that way it still has downsides of having a trade off with exhaustion perks and can be countered with Fearmonger.

They’re for the following (No licensed characters):

- Survivors:
- Ace Visconti
- Elodie Rakoto

- Jane Romero
- Michaela Reid
- Yui Kumura
You can see the masks here. :)
It didn’t link properly and I can’t edit my posts so here’s the masks (From the stream).

Oh man I'm glad I took the time to read this! Now I don't know if I wanna go ahead and prestige Feng, or wait for the overhaul. That prestige rework is sooooo juicy though. <3 Will the event masks be available for all characters or only unlicensed ones?

In my opinion the perfect nerf would be only give invulnerability if the survivor had the broken status but otherwise keep it the same.
-
The Racoon Police Department map.
-
It’s fine since it only activates once and it’s pretty obvious most of the time when a survivor tries to bait, the only thing that is somewhat annoying is opening a gate doesn’t deactivate it but you can still just slug and count to 60.
Dead Hard is the only perk I find annoying due to how strong it is.
-
I’d put all her TV’s next to generators and one at the top of the basement stairs.
-
The killer seems like they’re going to be a lot like Sadako, they’re an M1 killer who can teleport and don’t have any abilities to help during chases.
I hope they’re fun but personally I prefer killers with an interesting ranged m2 ability which can deal damage be it Demogorgon’s leap, Deathslinger’s gun or Nemesis’s tentacle whip.

Yeah, it's tricky.
I have no idea why Nurse and Blight have only really seen buffs.
I also have no idea why Pig, Clown, Legion and co. have been allowed to be this crap for so long.
Huntress is fine. She's about where she should be.
Nurse is TECHNICALLY the worst killer in the game if you look at official statistics but everyone who's played the game for a while knows she's actually the best killer if the person playing her is good with her.
So I guess there's a difficult balance to make between casual players and top players.
-
I think there should be a hard counter perk for killers like Calm Spirit is for Spies from the Shadows.
I use it in every survivor match and agree it's a strong crutch perk that comes with many benefits, to me it's the survivor equivalent of the Tinkerer perk, it makes the game a LOT easier to play.
-
I think it might be two things:
1: Some players get pretty emotional in the after game chat if they're playing with strangers and there was voice chat it'd be a PR nightmare with people shouting abuse and blaming each other for any mistake and it'd put off a lot of players from playing.
2: If it's just enabled for premade groups then they'd have to address the balance between solo survivor's and premade groups and also probally buff the killer to match any survivor buffs.

All they have to do is change dead hard from being two perks in one to just one.
Grants distance doesn't negate hit.
Avoids killer swing but no distance. (Like a funny dodge).
There balanced.
Maps have more than enough pallets and safe loops to abuse.
I think they should merge two perks into one - Dead Hard and No Mither.
-
It'll be interesting to see what killers they can get since there's not that many big name classic horror icons left that fit the typical slasher genre.
-
Try using the two iridescent add-ons together and spreading out portals around the map near gens, it's REALLY strong.
Other than that what people have said, STBFL is good on him, I use that, BBQ, Tinkerer and then whatever else I feel like that day.
-
The issue with BT and DS is they fix a fundamental game issue, there’s no other way to deal with a killer who is dead set in tunnelling.
And gen regression perks are popular since many killer players think kicking gens is normally a waste of time.
With Dead Hard personally I think it should just be combined with No Mither and David be given another perk to replace the missing one.
And finally with CoH make self healing the same speed as Self Care.
-
Sorry but don’t agree because I really don’t like perks that penalise new/inexperienced players while has little affect on good ones.
-
I play Demo (And Nemesis) with BBQ, Tinkerer, Discordance and Save the Best since I find information perks are really useful although with the new perks might use brine and merciless.
-
Maybe a boon that stops all loud noise notifications within its radius.
-
There’s a challenge (Which unlocks a story) in the current tome to down 3 exposed survivors while using the Make Your Choice perk in one trial and NOED is one of the easiest ways to do that unless you have Make Your Choice on Myers or something.
There’s also a stun or blind the killer 3 times in one trial challenge which also unlocks part of a story so they’ll likely be more flashlights in matches too.
-
Clown - The Afterpiece tonic causes the survivor to see pink elephants (Like the Mr Puddles charm) randomly float about on their screen, also causes the oblivious status and intermittent elephant trumpeting noises for 4 seconds, removes other abilities.
-
Try using it with Hex: Plaything!
-
No Mither - Combines with Dead Hard into a single perk

I don't see the current meta on either side particularly game breaking. Well... Except CoH and Dead Hard with validation. So... No I don't want the majority of perks to be game breaking. I do however want every perk in the game to be impactful.
I agree, although CoH it's really only the self healing that's an issue, imo it should be more the speed of self care rather than a med kit.
The only other two perks I can think of that seem very strong are Borrowed Time, particularly the fact you can have the unhooked surivivor run protection hits on the unhooker and be basically invincible, it seems like it's so strong it's almost a must take and the other perk being NOED just because it seems unfair when it does something even though it's a waste of a perk in many games but that's most because there's not much reason for a killer not to facecamp when gens are done.
-
Yeah it's an odd one but works great on killers like the Demogorgan or Nemesis.

It says in the screenshot that I posted that they were only unlockable during the Event.
I’m just wondering if unlockable means earning it from the tome via in game activity and if in the future the Witching Hour outfit for Mikaela Reid will later be available to purchase with Iridescent Shards/Auric Cells?

These were items that were only able to be earned during the Event I'm afraid.

Will they not be appearing in the store later?
-
IMO dull totems should have a limited use, maybe two times total of being either a Hex OR a Boon before automatically being destroyed/cleansed upon stomping out a boon or whatever.
-
@Sorinin said:
Will this skin come back? I don't know how this goes with event skins and I wasn't around for a while. Am I out of luck?
Thy usually appear in store 6 months later, the only things that don’t typically reappear are charms.
-
With boons being meta I’d say NOED is better than Devour since survivors rarely cleanse totems these days and there’s way more people hunting for totems to boon.
Although Devour is a lot more fun/fair and if you don’t make it to the end game it’s just a wasted perk.
Starstruck can be good but most of the time it’s just a way to disincentive survivors from body blocking or trying flashlight saves since they know they’re exposed when they enter your terror radius unlike NOED when it only shows up once you down someone.
-
I think it's hard to say, I like using boons to help teammates so I just use all 3 with small game but I agree that the optimal meta build will probally be something like dead hard, circle of healing, decisive strike and borrowed time.
-
I find before evening it's easier to find a surivior match and after it's easier to find a killer match, although the matches tend to be quite a bit tougher.
I think it might be because more people play in groups (Survive with friends) in the evening.

That doesn't really help Wraith, Hag, or Artist.
and it doesn't fix multiple med-kits..
So no, people will just dodge more lobbies.
True, also it has fun trap synergy.
-
Talking of healing I find Sloppy Butcher works as a great indirect slowdown, although I don’t play at the top tiers.
-
I’d add a very difficult skill test for the second perk while active.
-
If you nerf it too hard people will just use lightborn.
-
Maybe have the hex spawn at the start of the game with 0 tokens and each unique survivor hooked adds a token with each token allowing one instant down during the end game collapse and when the totem is destroyed it still gives the benefits (Including speed bonus) but you can’t add any more tokens.
-
I think they should let the new hex (Pentimento) turn boons into rekindled totems.
It’d be balanced since all survivors already know the location of the totem.

The game would be pretty unplayable if camping were not okay, the level of aura reading they would need to add to base kit to justify that wouldn't even be worth the change, survivor's would hate the game without camping a lot more than the game with camping, imo.
To stop camping they need to give the killer a good reason for doing so and once gates are open there's not really any good reason to not facecamp.
During the game there's gens and BBQ is a great example of a perk that encourages players to not camp since it shows the location of players.
Maybe there could be another hex perk (That spawns like NOED during the end game collapse) where once gates are open and a survivor is hooked it shows the location of the other survivors.

It is when a killer face camps 1 survivor and the other 3 have to rush gens and ignore literally everything else.
NOED + Face camp needs to be nerfed somehow. Personally I want the camping to be knocked somehow as I think NOED is fine in a standard match.
The only way that can be changed is if killers are given any other reason to not facecamp at the end of the game once gates are open since they've not really got anything else to do, they could wander away and look for other survivors but they're likely just going to end up going from one sacrafice to not getting anything.
-
I'd say it's a solid perk since even with those things it keeps survivors in the injured state longer and if they want to heal they're doing that instead of doing gens.
-
Here is the post game perks, both Mikaela's had two different boons, possibility the boon might have been cast on Hex: Ruin?
