The updated Badham map is nicer, but it's really dark and hard to see when I played with Freddy. Half the time I couldn't see where the survivor ran off to after I hit them.
-
I started playing DbD after scratch marks stopped appearing on grass. So when someone told me it used to be like that, it blew my mind. It would be so nice if scratch marks would be consistent.
Also I do want more grass on maps because I play Trapper. Lots of times I see a good trap spot, but there's no grass so it's super visible.

this game was meant like hide go seek game looping was not plan like the dev said many time.
True, but chases are a lot more fun than hiding, both as a killer and a survivor. That's my opinion at least.

Also.. ThE sPiRiT iS sAdAkO
-
NOED can also be destroyed by cleansing only 1 totem when it activates.
-
Just run Kindred. All the survivors will know whether the killer is camping or not, so they know not to waste time trying to rescue and instead finish gens.
-
Not a Myers main, but I enjoy playing him often. In terms of perks, Corrupt is nice because it stops survivors from starting gens immediately and forces them to run in your direction.
This is personal taste, but I like to run Brutal Strength. If you're chasing around a loop in tier 2 and you can't hit the survivor before they drop the pallet, you can stalk instead, then break the pallet fast and continue chase once they're out of view or you've prepped your tier 3. If you have no problems getting hooks, Pop is nice since it synergizes with Brutal Strength for faster gen kicks.
I enjoy using M&A because sneaking up on survivors is fun, especially when you're pretty much next to them right before you pop your tier 3. Bamboozle can be nice since it stacks with tier 2 and tier 3 vault speed increases, and helps prevent strong loops like long walls, or that fence vault at the preschool building. And of course, Infectious Fright is very good on him since you can snowball very quickly when you use tier 3, you start downing survivors left and right.

Survivor unhooks teammate before I'm far away from the hook
Try to chase the person who unhooked so I'm not tunneling because I like to play nice
Unhooked survivor has BT and stops me from chasing the unhooker
Guess I'll just tunnel? That's what they want right?
-
Huntress already has a cooldown, aka having to go to lockers to reload when she runs out of hatchets. But will she get changed to have another cooldown slapped on aka the Nurse treatment? Hopefully not, she's in a good spot right now.
-
What makes you assume killer mains can't loop well? It's too much of a generalization. There's plenty of killer mains like myself who also play survivor sometimes and can loop decently and make chases last a couple minutes or more. I'm a red rank survivor too, and I think survivor is easy.
Have you always been this anti-killer? You got tunneled and camped too much?
-
You can't stop people from playing the way they want.
-
I feel like Demo is only a decent and consistent killer if you're running STBFL, feels mandatory on him.

@lostboy said:
so does camping and tunnelling which is where most body blocks occur.
For me it's more like:
Hook a survivor and start walking away. They get unhooked while I'm still close. See the survivor who unhooked and start chasing them. The unhooked survivor is body blocking me because they have Borrowed Time.
-
Biggest tip is to drop chase if the loop is too strong. If you can't get the hit before hitting bloodlust, it's probably not worth the effort.
-
Wouldn't it be better to just buff BP gain?
-
lol git gud
-
Imagine thinking Deathslinger is overpowered and needs a nerf. The 110 speed killer who can only target 1 survivor at a time with his power that he has to reload after every shot.
-
I enjoy using Scratched Mirror on indoor maps to jump out and scare survivors. Using the wallhacks to watch them be paranoid and scared to do gens is hilarious.
-
Just give every survivor and killer a bikini so no one is left out lol
-
Devs, please never take balance suggestions from forum posts.
-
Only reason I support nerfing exit gates to regress is to make Blood Warden not a useless perk. Good survivors will always 99 gates, so the only reliable way to trigger it is to open the exit yourself, which makes the survivors aware of your plan.
-
Just admit that you want the DC penalty disabled because you're a sore loser who can't stand getting dabbed on by good killers or survivors. Disconnecting because you got downed 20 seconds into the game, or because you don't like the killer you're playing against, isn't fair to the other 4 people who queued up to play the game.
-
If you're not having fun playing the game, then stop playing it and go play something else. Don't ruin everyone else's game by disconnecting.

Use cover and don't get shot
This. He's a 110 killer. Use loops with walls that block line of sight. Run the loops so that he has a hard time getting a shot. That window at the long wall jungle gym that usually destroys killers? Don't take it!. Watch out for gaps in loops that he can shoot you through. If you're out in the open and Deathslinger finds you, that's your fault.
-
So you do guys like being scared by unexpected Hag traps? Because I have no problems running Mint Rag and Rusty Shackles to jump out and grab you when you're working on a gen or totem >:)
-
Ralph, the best Huntress I've seen. He hits some crazy hatchet shots.

Interesting. Oni has the best power in the game. But like The Shape takes effort to build it up.
Also you can only tier 3 Myers a limited amount of times. Oni can gain blood from survivors indefinitely.

I love how OP says "we only have ONE black woman which is the most hated group of people for some reason even though they’re the prettiest on the planet".
The reason she's often hated isn't because of the way she looks, it's because lots of people use her to blend in with the dark environment like a chameleon, and killers are tired of playing where's waldo with her.
-
Currently, kicking gens is a big waste of time, unless you have Pop. The speed of the game in this meta is too fast and you can't spend time kicking, when instead you have to down survivors as fast as possible. I believe it was 4 seconds of regression undoes 1 second of repair, which is really slow.
-
Apparently according to devs, Legion is average in terms of kills compared to the other killers. He's probably not gonna get buffed anytime soon. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
Honestly, some of the other Hex perks like Lullaby and Third Seal need to be buffed to be at Devour Hope's level of impact. High risk high reward, not high risk low reward.
-
Update Trapper's and Wraith's first, they're atrociously stiff and boring. Just hitting the survivor's back a few times and dead.
Wraith's is especially funny because it looks like he's only fake hitting the survivor.
-
How can Spirit be nerfed in a way that her power is still useful during chase? If you make it too obvious where she's going she just becomes a glorified Wraith with a cooldown.

Not until moris get changed ;)
I love how this is always the first response. "MORIS NEED TO GET CHANGED TOO!!!".
I'm not gonna disagree, but this thread's topic is keys, not moris. Stop trying to turn it into us vs them.
-
Agreed.
However, one upside is that it's easier to get survivors to trigger Haunted Grounds.
-
I think playing against Deathslinger is pretty fun. It's like when Huntress has a fully charged hatchet and you have to fake going around the corner to make her miss. I never get snuck up on by Deathslinger either, just look around while doing gens.

Penalty system is so pathetically bad. Game's not even competitive, stop treating it as such.
Disconnecting still ruins the game for everyone else.
Imagine you're a survivor that queued for 10 minutes. 30 seconds into the game, one of your teammates disconnects because he didn't like the killer he's playing against. So your team suffers because it'll be almost impossible to finish gens and escape, and the killer loses out on hooks/points. Now you feel frustrated because you wasted over 10 minutes for this game, and feel less like playing the game because disconnecting teammates are so rampant.
-
I think the vomit angle bug is caused by the first person camera being placed lower than usual. You'll notice that you can see more of her weapon than usual when you're running around.
-
Yeah I see what you mean. But also, you can choose a killer that you never play so you get matched with easier survivors, then switch to a killer you're much more experienced with, and have a much easier game. The killer you don't play remains at the same rank and you can keep doing this indefinitely.
-
Ah yes, the Billy changes this patch were nothing but improvements. No doubt about it.
-
Yeah it'll be horrifying I bet because you'll never find Blendettes again.
-
I dislike giving hatch because it teaches survivors to expect it to happen.
That being said, if there were early DCs and the survivor actually tried, I end up giving it to them.
-
I think that while Spirit is strong, she's still a fair killer. I see plenty of survivors extend chases for a while before they get caught. While some add on combinations are a bit too strong, her base power is fine, and doesn't need a nerf.
End rant.
-
I wouldn't be against it. Give everyone swimsuits. BHVR adding them to the game is another matter.
-
The point of Spirit's power during a chase is that you don't know if she's using it or not when she's standing still. That's the point. She's a 110 speed killer who often needs to use her power to get hits. They already nerfed her being able to mindgame window vaults, and they nerfed her not clipping through survivors during phase walk.
-
I think it's silly how you can get flashlight blinded without even seeing the flashlight being pointed at you.
-
Nope. They chose to stay in the corner where there's no hooks, and you're not obligated to pick them up. The game will end eventually, so you're not taking the game hostage, so you can't be banned.
They wanna sit in the corner and bleed? Let them.
-
That's pretty much the problem with how the core mechanics are designed. When you're chasing 1 survivor, 3 others are potentially working on gens. Hooking each survivor twice before killing any of them is not a good strategy as killer, but it's the most fun for survivors.
-
Devs have shown that every since Mettle of Man, they're scared of making new perks that can rival the meta perks. So while we get these few simple buffs to perks like Lightborn and Tinkerer, they'll never be up to the level of the meta perks.
