Clown, for sure.

Of course escaping as a survivor is the ultimate win, but it's not always possible, so I think if I don't escape, I always look at the blood points I got in the match. For example, I die, but get 20000 BP. Seems like a good thing to me, because while I didn't escape, I got a lot of points. Sometimes just escaping ends up not being satisfying, for example, we get a bad killer and he never chases me the whole match, I escape and get like 12000 BP. It was a win, but a meh match.

My favorite is Kate.

I like some of these options, but a mansion type would be nice, depending on how it's done.

I don't really agree with healing deactivating DS. So you have DS, you got unhooked, the person who unhooks you starts healing you and DS deactivates, the killer comes back and you are screwed. Same even if the unhooked person doesn't try to heal you, you have to spend 60 seconds hurt, without trying to heal, the killer finds you in the last 5 seconds, which results in you getting downed again, not have healed and DS not working because the timer expired. I don't use DS, but for people that do, it's a huge nerf.
-
I'm sure I did, at one point or another, but it really depends on why the DC happened. Sometimes, the DC would be because someone was tunneled by a killer, for example. As another survivor seeing this, while it sucks for every survivor that someone decides to DC, I get why they did it. Other times, survivors just DC because they were downed early, which is stupid, in my opinion. Same for killers DCing when there are still 5/4 gens left because they can't down a survivor.
-
Sometimes, I'm not sure why I keep playing. The game has fun moments, sure, but sometimes it's also very frustrating. I have spend too much time on it now, 3 years, so it's hard to give up after such a long time and after everything I played before. I think new players should play until they decide it's not fun anymore and then switch to other games, really and if I was a new player and I knew what I know now, that's what I would have done.

Why would anyone be banned for a bug, that affects cosmetics, which don't have any effect on the game itself? Instead of banning people, the devs should fix the bug, because if there is a bug, it's not the players fault, it's the devs. Fix your problems, instead of just banning people for this.
-
I like the charms for killers, but no for survivors and I agree that we don't need as many charms as we are getting. BP/shards would be a better option instead of some charms or better yet, more cosmetics instead of charms.

The way the match goes sometimes makes people not wanting to help others. For example, match starts and I go to a gen. 10 secs later, someone is found and downed. 20 seconds later that person is saved and another one is downed. 20 more seconds and a third survivor is downed by saving the second survivor while the killer is near.
I finish my gen, maybe get to another, the third survivor is saved, the first one gets downed, the second one is now healing in a corner. Then someone else gets downed and I'm trying to fix, no one else is doing it and then maybe the killer now downs two of the other survivors.
Sometimes I go to help, sometimes I just keep fixing and see how it goes, because the team has made it impossible for us to win, by just wanting points and making unsafe saves.
Also, if the killer killed two survivors, only 2 gens are done and someone is on the hook struggling, I might or might not go for the save. There is no way for both of us to survive at that point, unless one of us has a key and I have saved people in that situation that then let me die on the hook because they want the hatch, even though I just saved them before.
There have been matches where I make it to the final stage, all gens done, then the killer finds and hooks me. My team then decides to open the gate, even when the killer is not on them and then the killer does go for one of them and they all leave, letting me die, even if I fixed a lot or saved them or ran the killer around for a while. Sometimes being selfish is needed...
-
I mean, you said yourself you face camped the survivor, so yes, you camped. But since the 3 gens were near and you knew two other survivors were near too, it makes sense to have done it.
-
I like most of the ideas, except if there is more after prestige 3, we can't lose perks after prestige or else I wouldn't want to do it, since I have characters that are P3 and have all perks.
-
I agree with the original post and both of these examples seem fair to me. If all gens are done, there is no reason for the killer to leave the hook and lose the kill. Also, if the killer can't find anyone else besides the person that was just unhooked, what are they supposed to do? Ignore them? Makes no sense if they did that.
So, while camping and tunneling end up being bad for survivors, neither of them should be bannable. Of course, in the first 30 seconds of the match the killer finds someone and face camps them to death, I mean, it's toxic... but should not be bannable.
-
I don't even care what the circumstances are, but no one should ever receive death threats because of a videogame or people wishing they were dead. That is just immature. It's a game, you don't wish people dead because you don't like how they play. I got mad just seeing that people typed that.
-
I like the new Freddy much more than the old one. Not only he is more powerful, it is less annoying to play as and against, in my opinion, so I hope they don't change him back.
-
I have bought several survivor outfits, both with shards and auric cells and no killer at all, because as it was already said, you can't see them ingame when you play as a killer, so I won't spend any currency on killer skins.
-
I hope they increase the amount in the following weeks. 10.000 BP is not that much...
-
I do play killer, but not as much as survivor, because it is much more stressful. Yes, you get more bloodpoints, but if you mess up as a killer there is no one to try to compensate for your mistake, like it may happen when playing survivor with a team.
-
I just had a game where I saved Ash twice from the hook, the killer was not near, I healed him and we fixed 2 gens together. The killer had a pink mori and killed both of the other survivors (killed one, hooked Ash the second time, so I wasn't sure it was a pink mori until later when he killed the other survivor too). Then he finally found me, Ash unhooked me in front of the killer so I would get moried. Then, the killer gave him the hatch. I mean, how toxic is that, I saved him twice just to be betrayed like that.
People have no integrity. I know it is a game, but I never side with the killer unless it is some sort of revenge (like the survivor farming others over and over and me wanting them dead for that, which was not the case). When the killer is clearly trying to use me to get the last survivor or something, I just run away or refuse until the killer is fed up and kills me.

Sure, sounds like a good idea.
-
I'm terrible as the Nurse and she seems to be the most difficult to play as.
-
I will answer, but I didn't choose any of the options as I didn't see any of them reflecting my opinion. I think it should not change at all. I know it is unfair for the killer if someone DC's so someone else can get the hatch, but it seems like the example given is more like two friends playing together, one DC's so the other can escape.
Well, most times the two last survivors are not friends, they don't know each other. One is downed and rage quits, the other found the hatch by accident and escapes. By changing it, the remaining survivor, who did not quit, ends up being given a penalty they did not do anything to deserve.
If the hatch is blocked, within 30 seconds the killer can probably find it and find the survivor, preventing them from using it. 60 seconds is even worse. And relocating the hatch just makes it bad for the survivor, because now they have to search the whole map again and hide at the same time, while the killer can just freely explore to find it. So, while I understand that it is annoying for the killer to lose the last kill, it should not change, at least not with the options given.
-
The old MoM saved me a lot of times, before it was changed, so of course I would want it back, so that is why I voted that way. But, my feelings aside, I know it was too broken. If 3 or 4 survivors used the perk, the killer would have a much harder time, so the change was needed.
-
That stolen item example is how toxic people can be. There are a lot of crappy things other survivors do, like unhook you 3 seconds after you are hooked, when the killer is still there, no BT and you end up downed again, only for the same survivor to do the same thing again a second time.
Or when you are in a chase, already hurt and you get to a pallet, only to find another survivor crouched there, so you can't run past them or drop the pallet, resulting in you being downed. If they were not even in a chase, why are they crouching right below the pallet?
-
I wouldn't mind a weekend without perks, just to see how things would go if no one had perks on. But the things is, survivors would use their best items since they can't use perks and killers would use their best-add ons to compensate, so maybe a weekend of no perks, no items and no add-ons at all.
-
If killers have a harder time catching healty survivors, because they can't count with bloodlust, it stands to reason that some end up tunneling the same survivor that is already injured to get easier kills.
-
I didn't see a single killer with this cosmetic yesterday and I didn't even know it was a linked cosmetic. Glad it isn't now, so people can mix and match as they want.
-
I play on PS4, so I don't know the amount of hours, but my devotion is 11 and level 90.
-
I have it on since the crossplay started.
-
My first match as a survivor, I played Meg, I know I blew up the gens a lot and I'm almost sure I died. My first match as a killer I played The Wraith, ended up on the hospital map and had no idea what I was doing, so it was hell and did not kill anyone.
-
I agree, a match like it was described, ends up not being fun for either side.
-
Yesterday I played two matches where the killer rank was way below my survivor rank (red ranks). I was playing solo, so it wasn't because of SWF, so not sure why the game matched me like that. Also, the other survivor's ranks were all scrambled too. Both times it was me (red), a purple, a green and yellow against a green rank killer. I play on PS4 and I can only say it was the matchmaking. I agree it's not fair for a killer to go against survivors way higher in rank, but the survivors only realise that for sure when the match ends for them.
-
At first, in the video reveal, I thought she was Claudette, but then I noticed she looked different and was not sure until they revealed it. Granted, looking at both of them now, they have a lot of differences from one another, starting with the skin tone and expressions, etc.
-
I mean, it's your choice on what you want to do. If you feel the killer deserves the kill or needs points, why not?
-
In a game where survivors are hunted down, hurt, bleed a lot, are put on hooks, sacrificed and moried, a dead body is no problem at all. If anyone can't take it, they shouldn't be playing the game. There are dead bodies on The Game map too, for example. Also, if you don't want to look at the body, use Spine Chill and you will know when the killer is looking in your direction.

I mean, we had 2 David's for like 2 years without an issue (David King and Tapp).
Yes, but usually David King is called David and David Tapp is called Tapp. Of course we could have Ash being just Ash and Ashley being called Ashley to avoid any confusion.
-
I voted Ash, but since we already have an Ash in the game, it wouldn't probably be her, even if Sam wasn't the obvious choice.
-
I mean, I get your point about the match being done too soon, as a killer, but if you chase one survivor, what are the others supposed to do with their time? You are doing your objective, chase and hook survivors and they are doing theirs, fixing gens. They can destroy a totem or open a chest, but that takes a few seconds. After that, the only thing to do is fix the gens. Also, as much as you want to kill the survivors, they want to leave. The more time they spend in the match without fixing, the less chances they have of escaping.
This is a game where 1 sec makes a difference from the gen being fixed or being interrupted by the killer, chased, downed, the gen regressing and having to do it again. Believe me, as survivors, fixing gens is boring. Almost being done with one and then having to come back to it later, now only half done is not great fun either...
-
I mean, I agree if the killer was fair, he wasn't tunneling and camping all the way, no reason to just wait a the exit gates t-bagging, because that is toxic. Now, on the other hand, if the killer was both a tunneler and camper, maybe he deserves a t-bag at the end. I think it all depends on what they did, because toxicity creates more toxicity.

I didn't know they made this announcement. For me, adding a gay character or not is not that important (and before you flame me, I'm gay), because the game has no real story beside the character's story resume when they are released and the rift stories. But aside from my opinion, I know that there are people who care about this, so if they promised it, I hope they deliver it and either introduce a gay/bi character or announce that fact about an existing character in one of the rift stories.
An example, not about sexuality itself, but about representation, I have a friend that is French and when he learned that the new survivor is French too, he was so happy. Said he had waited so long for a French character and that she would be his main. I never even thought about a survivor or killer of my nacionality, if it happens, ok, if not, ok too. But for my friend it was so important and I had no idea he wanted that. So, different people want different things and I hope, for the sake of representation, that a gay/bi character is indeed released/revealed, so the people that are waiting for that to happen can be pleased.

The grind is very heavy, indeed. I have been playing for 3 years now and have all survivors at P3 (some have all perks). This year, I started focusing on the killers. Got 4 of them to P3, the rest are still not there. After I get every killer to P3, I plan to get all perks on survivors and killers, so it will take a very long time.
On one hand, it takes too long, but it also gives me a reason to keep playing, seeing as I always have an objective, now it's to P3 all killers. If I had already gotten everyone to P3, all perks on everyone... there would be no point in playing so much. But this is my opinion. My friends, for example, don't care about P3 on everyone or completing the rifts, so they play much less than me.
-
I don't like to use flashlights. I only use them if there is a rift challenge for that. Besides that, if you see me carrying a flashlight, it was because I found it in a chest and picked it up. After the match, if I survive, it goes to the pile I already have.
-
Wait, so Freddy and Quentin are not on the PS5 version? Of course there is some problem with the license, but they are already in the PS4. Makes no sense that they aren't available in PS5. They will probaly be released after some time, but still...
-
I like the concept of this killer. It's different from any other killers we have so far, so that's good. Also, their mechanic seems interesting.
-
I think the new killer looks interesting, but it's a shame we are not getting a new map, since we also didn't get one in the last chapter.
-
It's a game with horror elements and he is not a baby, even if he looks like one. Nowadays people are always complaining about something. I can't wait to be able to crush him over and over.
-
The team you get as a survivor is always so random. Sometimes I get the best team, sometimes I get the worst ones. Just yesterday I had a Meg that had a flashlight. We started together near a gen. 2 secs fixing and she blows up the gen and runs away. The killer comes, sees me and chases me. He downs me, Meg saves me right on his face without BT or anything. I got chased and downed again, but since I was the obsession (but I wasn't using DS), he didn't pick me up. Long story short, everytime someone was downed, Meg would just run to farm them, doing nothing else. Me and a Kate tried to fix, while the killer was going for a Bill and Meg was just chasing them, looking for the time to farm. Worse, the killer knew it, saw her several times, but ignored her in favor of going for everybody else. In a twist of fate, something happened and Meg ended up DCing (she wasn't downed or anything) so she lost all her points.
And then sometimes you get the team that is really coordinated and will try to help, take hits for you so you don't get downed twice in a row and just be good at not only keeping a chase going on, but not taking the killer to the areas where gens are being fixed. Also, as far as what teammates do, I believe the point system ends up making people want to fix less and do other things more. You get way more points from being chased or saving someone, than fixing a gen (unless you do it with someone else). Sometimes I'm the person who fixes the most in the match, the others are healing and saving, then I get to the end, we all survive and I see I have way less points than the others, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
-
I agree that it is easier to play survivor than killer, but I don't agree that it is always easy. As a killer, you rely only on yourself, which might go well or not. As survivor, you have to rely on the team. Get a weak team (someone is afk for a time, they hide a lot in fear, they just want to farm instead of fixing, etc) and you are probably screwed.
Also, as a survivor you are on a gen, 95%, the killer is coming and you just leave the gen? Well, I see a lot of people doing it, afraid of a hit. I try to finish the gen, because if the killer hits me, I run off, then he/she kicks the gen, then tries to chase me, by the time I come back, it will be at 50% or less, so a lot of time is lost. I don't agree that there should be a punishment for survivors to do what they should. It's the same as the killer seeing someone approaching the hook and not going back or if they do, they would have a punishment. Would that be ok with a killer? I think not, so the survivor should not be punished for doing the gen too. Both are doing what their objective is.
-
I mean, the only difference in a casual mode would be not having ranks? Because if so, I for example would not change my perks for that. I don't really care for ranks, but I want to get the most bloodpoints I can and my perks were chosen because I think they help with that objective. Casual or not, the end is the same, the survivors want to survivor, the killers want to kill everyone. I might be wrong, but I don't see it would change a lot if a casual mode was introduced.
