  • Getting sick because of the bottle effects is serious. If there is no way around it, yes, let the Clown kill you. Better that than feeling sick. It's just a game, your health comes first.

  • For me, most times, playing killer is not that fun, especially if you get sweaty survivors with flashlights. The matches en up being much more stressful than needed. Of course, there are some matches which are actually fun, but from my experience, most are not. Still, I try to play killer every day, but I still enjoy playing survivor more.

  • I used Counterforce in a few matches and it's not that great, so I say Detective's Hunch.

  • The lag and flickering seem to happen almost every match. Sometimes it doesn't affect much, if I'm just walking somewhere, but while in a chase it can make a lot of difference.

  • Yes, it sucks to have played well, not hooked until the end of the match, saved others, only to be left to die. If the killer is camping, well, there is a reason for the others to leave, but it's sad when they don't even try to check if the killer is camping or not.

If someone saved me in the match, if I can, I will try to save them in the end, unless they are being face camped or camped with NOED, but I have also been left to die on the hook with people escaping as soon as they can. Still, there are times where randoms surprise me, going out of their way for a save that could cost them the match if they are on the last hook, so, don't give up on randoms, there are some good ones out there too.

  • I don't really like the swamp maps, for both roles, so I hope we get them reworked soon. I find the maps too dark, still too big and with a lot of dead zones.

  • I was expecting a different reason for the game to be dying, not from loops. Players might come and go, so the game will probably be around for some time, but I hope in the future they can introduce something new that is not only perks, survivors and killers, because there the core gameplay will still be the same even with more of those added.

  • Wiggling is not useless, but most times it doesn't get you out of the killer's grab, which is fine, if it was that easy to escape after getting downed, it wouldn't be fair for the killer.

Sometimes with the help of other survivors you can wiggle out or if the hook is too far away, so I always try to wiggle. Worst case scenario, at least you got a few points for trying to wiggle.

  • I had my doubts with prestige, when I started playing and decided to not prestige the characters. But after a while, when I had everyone at lv 50 and I still wanted to keep playing, I thought it would be a good idea to prestige and get all the rewards, so that is what I did. I have all my survivors at P3, some killers at P3 and most of the others at P2 now.

My advice is not to prestige everyone at the same time or else you will end up with a bunch of lv 1 characters. Pick 1, prestige, get them to lv 50 and then prestige another one.

  • While the map can be a pain for a lot of killers, I don't see a reason to disable it.

  • Interesting build. Fits quite well.

  • At the moment, 56253 shards. I only use them to buy cosmetics.

  • Spirit or Clown.

  • I see people bringing killers to gens all the time. Sometimes they don't have many options, because the killer found them near and there is a pallet near the gen or something. Other times, I don't know what the idea is. For example, when 3 gens on the same side are done, I see people being chased and running to the side where most of the gens that need to be fixed are, instead of the opposite. They should lead the killer away so the team can fix, but no. I think some people don't pay attention where the gens pop up and where the others might be. Of course, some other survivors bring the killers to gens in hopes that they will go for someone else...

  • I like her, like most of the female survivors. She has some nice cosmetics.

  • I don't understand why people keep doing this. If it's the first time they are downed, nothing is actually lost yet, they can still survive, they can still keep playing and get more points. Instead, they DC and hurt the whole team. Sometimes I see people saying they quit against certain killers. Then, don't play the game. You can go against any killer, you can't choose who to face, so deal with it.

  • I have been playing for years and the grind is a lot, even for older players, but for new players it must be much, much worse. They have to adapt to a new game, to a lot of perks, to a lot of killers and all the grind makes this even more confusing and hard.

  • The maps are too bright, I agree. It's even harder to see than before...

  • Oh, I didn't see that either. I was between choosing that challenge and the healing survivors one and since I was playing survivor, I chose the healing because I thought I could do the other as killer too. Thanks for pointing this out.

  • While I wouldn't mind having her a s killer, she seems too big to fit here and also there are other RE villains that are more well known and have been in the series for longer, so I don't think she will be the one chosen to be the killer in DBD.

  • I hope the add the points, we could use them.

  • To me, these maps are not too dark at all. Now, the swamp maps, on the other hand...

  • Of course it is ok to quit if your health is on the line.

  • Top: Spirit, Wraith, Freddy, Clown, Ghostface

Least: Oni, Nurse, Blight, Hillbilly, Pyramid Head

  • I just had a match today, playing as killer, where 3 of the 4 survivors had saboteur, breakout, boil over and flashlights. So even though I was trying to play normally, as soon as I downed someone, someone else was trying to blind me, destroy a hook or block my way. So, over and over I ended up losing the survivor I was carrying. In the end, I managed to kill them all, had to slug them for a bit, but it was super annoying because they came prepared to make the killer, any killer, me or anyone else, have no fun at all.

  • The problem with your match was the killer tunneling you. The trap is doing what it should do or else the point of traps would be even less than it already is now.

  • I use self-care a lot of the time, but if someone wants to heal me, I let them, because they will heal me faster and then we can both go do something else. Sometimes I even see people using med-kits and healing themselves, instead of letting others do it and I think "why not let them heal you and saved the med-kit for later, if needed?"

I use self-care to heal myself if no one is around to heal me or if they save me and run off, not wanting to heal me, which also happens.

  • I would love to be able to vote for new characters, like a survivor and a killer, for a chapter, once a year. The devs could put up the designs and we would vote. That sounds interesting and the community would feel included in the decision.

  • I think they both fit, but since I could only choose one, Mr. X's design is more on par with other killers we have in the game.

  • I have mixed feelings about it. On one side, it's annoying to bring perks that the killer can just ignore, not only BT and DS, but We're Gonna Live Foverer too. On the other side, it's part of the killers power and makes the survivors be more careful, so they don't get tormented and sent to a cage.

  • Some of the maps really need changes. The swamp maps are too dark and I think most people don't like them. Also, while I love Haddonfield as a survivor, I can see why it also needs changes for killers, so I hope they can balance it better.

  • I don't like that it is luck based. You should have a bar to fill within a few seconds and then free yourself. If the Trapper is near, he will catch you and if he is not, you escape. Right now, sometimes you free yourself on the first try, others it takes a while and the Trapper can get to you from almost the other side of the map.

  • I agree that sometimes the game can get boring, but not to the point of someone falling asleep. That just means that the person is tired. I have a friend that has fallen asleep twice playing DBD, but he was playing through the night, like at 3 AM, so it wasn't really the game's fault. That said, of course it would be more fun to have things be different from just holding down a button and waiting for skillchecks.

  • I actually think your idea is pretty good. It would make it so hexes that are destroyed right away still have an effect on the match, but not to the extent of being super powerful.

  • Sometimes, it really is frustrating to play killer. I have had matches were I got only one kill or no kills at all, having a hard time finding or catching survivors and the next match, with the same killer, I get 4 kills easy, so there are a lot of factors that might change things, not only the map, but the survivors themselves. The way I have to think while playing killer is I will do my best and don't even think about getting a lot of kills, because the pressure ends up making me do more mistakes than if I try to be more relaxed.

Of course, there are always those toxic survivors that tbag and make my blood boil and that is sometimes the reason I end up being frustrated. Like, you find your first survivor at the start of the match, they drop a pallet and t-bag. Why? They didn't do anything, they just dropped a pallet and think they are good or something?

  • I understand the point of feeling frustrated that the gens are being done too quickly and as a killer you can't do much about it. If, for example, you are chasing a survivor, the others keep fixing and if the chases doesn't end quickly, the gens just keep being done. But I don't see the main problem being 3 people on the same gen. Even if the 3 were on different gens, they would be done quickly anyway if the fourth survivor keeps the killer busy.

The problem with a penalty is the survivors main goal is to fix the gens and escape, so it doesn't make much sense to punish them for doing what they are supposed to do. Maybe if they added something else to do in the game, besides totems and chests, the survivors would spend a little more time doing that extra thing too. But since the game's core play as always been the same, I don't see it changing much.

  • For me, Felix and Kate are the hottest.

  • This happened to me yesterday, against a Clown. Could only hear the heartbeat too.

  • There are some good hiding spots and there are also some awful ones, like in the middle of the map, with nothing around, visible from a distance or near gens. Mostly, I detect hexes by the sound they make, but even so sometimes the hexes are very well hidden and hard to find. It's a gamble if you get your hex very well hidden or just in the open and it gets destroyed right away.

  • The test is just for one day, so I don't really mind.

  • I voted for Friday the 13th, because Jason is an iconic killer and missing from the iconic killer roster we already have in the game. Asides from that, Resident Evil would also be a good option.

  • No, I don't really like playing as him, so this won't change it for me.

  • My favorite item is the med-kit. I used to love to use toolboxes, but with the nerf, they are not as useful, so if I have to choose one item to use in a trial, it's a med-kit.

  • I think for me, it's like 1/10 or 1/12, but since there was no option for that, I voted 1/20. I used to see him a lot more before, but since we are always getting more killers, of course we get to see less and less some of them.

  • I think the perk is fine as it is now.

  • I like them overall, except Shelter Woods.

  • I don't know if the Blight should, but at least the Twins and the Trickster should have a map. But, since it didn't come out with them, we will probably never get those maps...
