Red Rank 1 isn't an indication of skill, it's an indication of how much time they've played and how much they've filled in the emblem system. Matching totally new players with red rank 1 is probably part of the system being a little iffy right now, but in general the grade scores aren't used for the matchmaking.
Then... Thats just stupid...

I Lost the love of the game long time ago and since Patrick Said on the Last Q&A that gen speed is NOT a problem i just literally quit... This is a devs that don t know what are doing, they don t know anything about their game... Now the only thing they do is add DLCs to with huge horror Γcon to steal more money from the users and all that sorry but didn t buy this One and probably i will never do it again... WE players who play the game more than 24h or way way more can tell what it needs to be changed what are the Issues etc etc. Its easy to fix it ? No is not... Nobody Said that would be easy but many years passed alot ideas were introduced and nothing was done !! The game still more Toxic devs keep steal US etc etc. And if ANYONE says any truth in their forums GET JAILED OR BANNED... Like i Said before and Said again i am just done of it...

If a Killer stands within 16m of a hook for longer than a minute, they shouldn't be allowed to injure/down other Survivors until the hooked Survivor is rescued and 24m away from the Killer.
Facecampers should be punished. Primarily Bubbas.
Edit: I shouldn't have to point this out, but I am the Killer Main of my group, I average 2-3 kills per match, and I still detest facecamping. It is not healthy for DBD, plain and simple.
The state of the game right now it doesn t matter if the killer is facecamping or not to be honest... Killers get genrushed either ways so... Why not facecamp someone who Tbag you in the previous games etc etc... I am not even playing DBD like 2 months because of this crap state of the game... Since i hear the dev Patrick saiyng that " No need to slow down the gens"... That was the bottom line... That shows that someone that is called "Dev" who possibly don t know what is going on in the game and probably the "Devs" in general don t play the same game has ours... So.... Why wasting time with them.. I already quit trying to give ideas when they don t care about... And careful because "Devs" don t like to hear truths because last time someone who posted truths about them got Jailed in forum probably by Pyramid Head i don t know... But to be honest i don t really care anymore...

There has certainly been a rising number in killer's who are AFK. Sometimes they stand there all match until the game is over, sometimes they AFK until end game to use their NOED.
This created in incredibly boring experience for the survivors as there is no threat while completing generators. It also makes it impossible to achieve many of the Rift Tome Challengers which require killer interaction.
Why are AFK killers allowed to exist for long periods of time? Can this be fixed?
Yes I report after game, but surely something can be done to detect it during the game and punish/remove these killers.
Thanks
In game report does nothing... You are wasting your time reporting people in game...

So two people down vs a Pig I'm put on hook at stage one the other person is dead she basically camps my hook because I'm the only one who hasn't been hooked yet and the others bleed out before I make it to second stage how is camping and slugging fun.
I get slugging is a tactic two people near by why not get both or do what I usually do hit to drive them away but slugging more then one person and just leaving them there how is it fun.
Its life mΓ‘ friend, i don t see the fun on Gen Rush, tbaging or click click with the got damn flashlight but, you guys looks like to enjoy it.

2K 2E will never be a good and balanced match especially in my eyes, it shows an outcome but nothing that happened to get there.
I understand hooks dont paint a full picture but they paint a better one. Hooks will always show more than kills, someone who can do many many chases (downs, mindgames, outplays) etc.. show more skill over the other players
Patrick's one and only arguments that had some standing was the "is it a win, or a loss" well how about a tie/draw?
This game is a 4v1, it will never be perfectly balanced and that's just how it is but holding an asymmetric game to a similar view to the 4v4 equal games is a mistake.
My idea, balance on hooks (mostly) individual hooks =1point and a kill=2points. This way someone who can 3 hook someone and get a kill gets far more than someone just face camping.
You can decide what is a win, draw and lose. In Patrick's example 8hooks can be a draw, anything more will increase your rank (the more hooks the more you go up) and anything less would be a loss (lesser hooks mean a bigger loss)
In an unbalanced game having a draw is acceptable, both sides can play incredibly well.
In this game 3hooks on 1 person is a kill, in hockey you dont score 3 times to get 1 point. Your "shots" are downs, none are rewarded, killers arent rewarded for getting a down. Yes you're downing (taking a shot in hockey) but it doesnt mean you'll score, however hooking someone should be a score, and a kill should be a bonus like in other sports that provide more points for a better "play"
Edit: dont ban me for a discussion, no disrespect here at all just a better view or at least in my eyes.
Whos Patrick π ?

What about the cute Not_Queen ?! Where is she ?

It would certainly allow the devs to finally balance the game around SWFs. But every time I've suggested this, people have a ton of vague reasons why it won't work for DBD, even though voice chat has worked for every other multiplayer game.
Trust me bro no it won t... In this specific multiplayer Game no... Look for Friday the 13th the game has example, it didn t work very well when people start insult other players for stupid reasons... In DBD on console for example, if you want to insult someone you can easly report him or just turn off the messages. So people won t bother your.

I want to start this off by saying that I understand that the Killers should have some advantage, considering that 4 people are working against him. Although I believe that to be true, I think there should be some changes to survivors. After I got "Moried" the other day I really got to thinking about some of the things that Survivors could benefit from. I would like to propose a few ideas, in hopes that some of the devs' read them or even other DBD fans like me start adding suggestions as well.
I believe that Survivors would benefit from having an option to spend a good chunk of Blood Points or Shards in order to buy Barrowed Time (maybe at a lesser power than what Bill runs at level 3) in order to run it in addition to the other four perks that are chosen. If a player would then choose to run Borrowed Time from the unlockable option regarding Bill, they would not be able to run the lesser Borrowed Time. Additionally, I think Survivors would benefit from a subtle change to Laurie Strodes' perk Decisive Strike. I think Decisive Strike is very beneficial already, but I think it could be more beneficial if it was a last-ditch effort to escape while on death hook. To elaborate, at level three, I think there should be no limit to the seconds it is active, but I think it should only be able to be used after your second hook. Since it would only be used after your second hook, I do not think anything should deactivate it, BUT it should only be able to be used once, maybe twice as that last ditch effort of getting away, similar to Bills' unbreakable perk. Lastly, I would like to propose another option to make the game a little more involving. This is going to be quite a stretch, but I think it would help. I would like to see some sort of voting option while in the lobby of a game, during this vote, Survivors could vote on a Killer or a Killer perk to be disabled for the game (The killer would then either have to choose a new Killer or Choose a different perk). This would help players who have been getting frustrated by a particular Killer a few games in a row feel more in control of the game they are getting themselves into. To level the playing field, Killers could also disable a perk from the Survivors. Aside from those three suggestions I have not thought about much else.
I think those three changes could help retain new and old players alike and make the game more enjoyable for all. I want to thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to everyone's friendly responses.
Happy Surviving and Killing,
Rage1Alpha
Don t you thing that some loops is a counter enougth ? I will not even mention the hole perks that you have to counter some powerful killers...

I mean it would be kinda useless. They are camping inside, so closing the gate does nothing, or they just 99% so you also can't do anything about it.
If they camp inside while you shutdown the exit gates, they could just die or be teleported for a random place near the same exit gate. Or be pushed outside of the exit gates.

If you like to have some nuts in your face thats up to you bro.

Just wow. I know he needed some tweaks with the quick scoping into a hit but man you really just pile drived him into the ground eh.
His aim is so slow, survivors can round a corner and break line of sight while you raise the gun, you have to be right on top of them for a good shot or its just too slow and by that point you might as well just swing.
I know its early days but he has been seriously overtuned. I'm hanging up my spurs on him till there is a fix because frankly its not good its just slow on all fronts.
Totally agree bro... i try to play with him and... Damn man... What a pain...

What a stupid statement.
Tbagging is mostly used to show off ones superiority above the other one.
I do use tbag against killers who face camped or did another stupid thing in dbd.
Sometimes I teabag, killer rages and focuses only on me to lose all 5 gens then crying for genrush when all survived.
Never heard teabag is sexual harassment kek
You don t live in this world then i think...

@Mandy said:
Being pretty factual about this, survivors squatting isn't even "teabagging" using the known meaning of the word. Butt dancing is another term that's used and that's probably more of an accurate representation to what happens in the game.
Still @MandyTalk the act is there ya know, and people get mad because some of them believe in this.. I personally understand this. I said since the game was release and since the tbagging was a thing that the tbag should be a punishful thing in the game..
-
@GiveMeBoops said:
I mean, it helps for sure. It doesn't really fix main issue tho.
I really think they should add some mechanic to make snuffing worth it, maybe next blessing will take +4 sec for each time it was snuffed etc. So survivors have to think a little about when and where they use it.
Not bad idea too.
-
@GiveMeBoops said:
Option to open gate is really good thing, so you can force egc. This way survivors can't really hold you hostage unless they leave 1 gen left..
Sometimes you just want them to leave already, so you can play next game.
It's also good with Blood Warden.
I know but it could be awesome if killer could shutdown the exit gates and yet with the end game cs activated, survivors probably could think twice if they want to camp near exit gates or leave ya know..
-
Don t touch on my NEMESIS !! π

@IXDeathGodXI said:
There are many killer perks that are very good and give them a good advantage/control over the game but the perks don't carry them to a win. During end game if the survivors don't remove every totem from the map the perk activates. This gives the killers an increase on speed and instant downs. This perk is strong enough when activated to eliminate full teams in the end. A perk that can do all this work without it taking skill is far too good and unfair considering many survivor perks like decisive strike got nerf to the ground favoring the killer even more. A way to balance this is to either make it into an actual hex totem during the whole game so survivors can actually remove it while the killer can carry a perk like hunted grounds mixed in to give themselves an edge if the survivors try go for it. The other way is to give the killer a timer for 1 minute somewhat like decisive strike in which they can hopefully knock 2 players down but not a full team. I hope they can balance noed because in it's current state it's too overpowered against survivors while survivors don't really have many good perks to work with anymore.
No... NOED don t need a nerf or buff... The perk is fine...

@Clevite said:
What are you talking about?
It's a pixelated character doing squats. Actual IRL teabagging would be a much different thing.
Not really bro, this kind of things you can see has "pixalated character" has in IRL. And Tbagging is getting even worse. And now i understand why.. And that is not a valid opinion at all bro...

Since survivors have pallet and dead hard validation, how come killers don't have grab validation. Grabs are literally impossible because of the ping from dedicated servers. Another example of survivor bias.
I just get angry when the animation starts grapping the survivor but for some kind of magic the animation stops sometimes you miss the hit...

I still think that Killers should have 5 perks and not 4...

And as of the last Killer performance statistics, it averaged out that in all of the games the killers were killing 50% of survivors overall (nurse and trickster's below avg performance really dropped that average down). Killers gain 20 points towards their rating per kill, but lose 20 points per escape, while survivors lose 20 points when sacrificed, but gain 20 when they escape. With the overall average resulting in what is essentially 2 players escaping per match, the killers are stuck at no gain or drop in rank while half of the survivors are ranking up. Add in that survivors outnumber killers overall, and you get the majority earning higher SBMM than the minority. So yeah...
Here's a link to those statistics:

@fnatic47 i hope my post doesn't come off as me upset about the game, because I don't mind if a killer tunnels. i was interested in what other survivors/killers thought about these strageties
I understand your point bro, i feel frustrated with the state of the game too bro... But theres nothing we can do except complain and complain over and over again and wait for a little light in a tunnel hole for a HUGE change xD

I don't care, your methods are valid and understandable. Even killers who do this at the start of the game, I just assume they had a string of terrible games and need to spill some survivor blood in the name of sweet vengeance. But that's just what runs through my head, how do the rest of survivor mains feel? Or killer mains who may or may not do this? Do you go "oh well" or is it something that actually bothers you?
The way that you posted this it gives me the idea that you are a Survivor Main and you don t play Killer so basicly you can t judge some killer methods or actions if you don t play killer and don t understand them... When i play Survivor solo or SWF but mostly SOLO, when the killer facecamp me or tunnel me i don t get mad because its the state of the game bro just simple has that... You Survivors should not even argue about killers methods since the last previous updades, Survivors got a HUGE perk buffs without COOLDOWNS and more stuffs... lets not forget that is 4 heads against 1 so... I think if you are smart enougth you will undertand what i mean...

The same reason survivors don t care about Killer methods, Killers won t care either the survivors methods... Wanna blame someone ? Blame Devs about it, because its because of them that the state of the game is what it is right now... Stupid Nerfs here and there.. Sometimes even changes that no one asked about but they still implemented and broke some killers and even survivors. Mostly Killers by the way.

Has a main killer with more than 3k hours i am not having fun since MMR got introduce and it got even worst since the boons totems got introduce has such... In every session i reached RANK/GRADE 1 Killer, but know with the state of the game in the moment like, fast trials matches because of the gen rush etc, the game for me just got alot bored... I am not playing DBD like 2 months... I came back yesterday and i still got fast games with 3 hooks and 1 gen left in 7 minutes or less... Survivors still saying the famous words " GET BETTER "... And i think to myself how can i improve and be better when i have fast games... I just can t... This is my personal opinion of course but i bet that there is more people thinking that way...
